⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Goat Sheep Cow is a cheese lover’s paradise! Their selection is incredible, with expertly curated cheeses from around the world. The staff is knowledgeable and helps you find the perfect pairing. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or building the ultimate cheese board, this Charleston gem never disappoints!

My favorite place in town. Favorite. These ladies and gentlemen know cheese and wine. If you want to be the most memorable host you must go to goat.sheep.cow. Call and order a board for your next get together or just to have on hand at home for a few fun happy hours for yourself. They will curate the size and price to your needs.

We loved this place the moment we stepped through the door. It is a very relaxing with many seating options(bar stools, table and high tables). The food was awesome. The server told me the salads were fabulous and they were exactly that. The bathroom was very clean and organized. This is a great indicator that the kitchen is the same. They also have a great selection of cheese and wine. We will be back

Google
The staff at Goat, Sheep, Cow is extremely helpful. My partner and I went in looking for a cheese to enjoy together but we had NO IDEA what we were looking for. Lucky for us, Colin came to our rescue! We told him we wanted a cheese we could snack on and eat a lot of (we love cheese!!) and he was quick to let us try this amazing cheddar that was the perfect fit. He was so helpful and patient with us, as we knew nothing about cheese. It can be intimidating having lots of options in front of you and not knowing what’s the right way to go, but with the right guidance it turns what could be nerve racking into an extremely pleasant experience. Colin made us feel heard, and we appreciate his guidance and expertise!

Google
Stopped in for some charcuterie and sandwiches recently and they were all delicious! Kolsch and wine selection was great as well as very friendly people helping behind the counter. Was very impressed with the cheese selection especially the blues which are hard to find usually. Will definitely be back

Google
This place seemed to have merged with the Babas on meeting coffee place. Loved the vibes inside, but they also have a small patio. We had a chai latte (hot) and a Iced vanila latte and we enjoyed both. Didnt eat anything. It was so nice to sit inside and relax while its super hot outside.

If you want great cheese and meat for the ultimate charcuterie here is the place to go.

Google
"it was such a wonderful experience" reported my daughter after she received (and spent) her birthday gift card. I could not be more appreciative ! the store offers an amazing and eclectic selection of cheese, charcuterie and wine, from the basics to the hidden local ones. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly (Colin went out of his way to ease the communication process and very nicely followed up). The display arrangements are carefully thought and customer friendly. Easy parking is a plus. This is my next destination when I visit Charleston !

Yelp
I've grabbed cheese and other items from goat.cheese.cow before and finally sat down for a meal! It's a collar with babas on cannon and didn't disappoint. The staff were friendly and they do deliver your items to the table after you order at the counter. It's super cute inside, lots of table and bar space. Perfect for catching up with a friend, studying, or some solo time. The tomato sandwich was excellent - on homemade brioche. The side salad was with a vinaigrette and so bright and crunchy on a hot day. The very cold coffee hit the spot too. Love that they use real silverware and dining ware!

Yelp
Interesting shop specializing in a great selection of both wine and cheese, also interesting gourmet yummies. Nice service/staff.

Yelp
Love coming here for brunch & lunch. The indoor space is charming and inviting. The outdoor patio is spacious and relaxing. Highly recommend: the quiche, their salads, and charcuterie board.

Yelp
We stopped in for lunch and the lemon Parmesan and bacon salad is the best salad I have ever eaten. I would consider committing a crime to get that vinegairette recipe. We tried the quiche and it was fabulous. Even the basic ham and butter sandwich looked good. It's an order at the counter kind of place, which is fine but I really prefer a wait staff atmosphere. However, I'm totally willing to overlook that because the food is truly that good.

Yelp
Probably the best wine and cheese shop in Charleston. Not cheap but the best never is. This place has a great curated selection of absolutely delicious products. It also share a space with Babas. It's amazing!

Yelp
Such a great vibe for a morning coffee or chill spot to grab lunch! Love the location right in NOMO and I walk over regularly for a coffee or food from my apartment community Cormac! The staff is always smiling and super nice! Don't mark it off the list, just keep it on there and keep visiting! I do! ;)

Yelp
Every few years, my friend Kris and I meet for a girls weekend. This year we're back in Charleston, SC. We stopped in today for a quick lunch. We also bought cheese & meats, along with honey and fig jam, for a charcuterie board tonight. Kimber was amazing. She offered tasty suggestions for additional cheeses to compliment the ones we'd already chosen and did the same for the meats. I love the fact we were allowed to sample before purchasing. Kimber was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. We'll definitely be back.

Yelp
I was super excited to try the new Goat Sheep Cow and Baba's collab shop on Meeting. Sadly only got this photo of the bar. It was super cute and had lots of snacks to buy from Goat Sheep Cow. They also offered all the menu favorites from Baba's on Cannon, but sadly they don't offer Goat Sheep Cow's sandwiches. I ordered the turkey club with a side salad and iced chai. My friend ordered the shrimp salad. It was all very refreshing and tasty. It also came out in a timely manner and the workers were very nice. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
I wish I wrote a review of this place the day I was here so I could remember the names of the ladies that helped us, because those ladies, were awesome. I had a gift card to Goat Sheep Cow, and because I know nothing about fancy cheeses spelled with a bunch of vowels, and cured meats, I was never in a rush to use it. But a friend of mine came in town, it was a pretty day, perfect picnic weather--time to use this thing. We walked in, were pleasantly greeted the two ladies behind the counter. Greetings out of the way, my friend and I looked around--lol we dont know what we want. Bob Marley was playing the background, the ladies behind the counter were inspired to help us, we were inspired because they were inspired (and Marley was on so..). We were in good hands. They asked us our preferences, likes, dislikes. Sliced up some salty fun for us, creamy cheeses, hard cheeses, we picked some crackers, some fruits and olives, and the packaged everything up beautifully for us! They helped us pick a bottle of wine to go with it, handed us recyclable utensils and cups and sent us on our way! This is a not condoning drinking in public :) Our experience was stellar. Next time an outdoor picnic is in the cards, Ill definitely come here again. WITHOUT a gift card! It was just that good :) Highly recommend.

Yelp
Good selection and knowledgeable of what they have in stock. I had a sandwich in the attached restaurant and it was excellent.

Yelp
Met 3 girlfriends for cheese board, wine and mac and cheese. That is this group, life is mac n cheese and this place did not disappoint. You feel so posh with that beautiful cheese tasting board and a delicious glass, or two of wine. Then, put on the feed bag and enjoy an ooey, gooey mac. I even purchased some delicious cheeses for hubby, at home. I look forward to making another visit...I hear the cheesecake is amazing?!

Chris J.

Yelp
While on vacation, we decided we wanted to treat ourselves to a delicious cheeseboard, so I stopped by here after lunch one day. The staff were very friendly and helped me pick out several cheeses that best suited my tastes. I picked up two types of Gouda, a Brie, and a goat cheese. Each were some of the best I've ever tried. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in the area.

Yelp
We stopped here for a light lunch and this venue was perfect! I loved the bar area as it seated our party of four perfectly on the corner. We ordered a bottle of cava and got the large charcuterie board. YUM! Everything was perfect, we loved our light lunch and everyone loved the meat and cheese. I even grabbed a few things from their market to take home as gifts.

Yelp
I had lunch here recently not realizing how far it was from downtown Charleston when I chose it. My friend and I both found the service to be unwelcoming and even a little pretentious, to the point that it had an effect on the overall enjoyment of the meal. The food was good (Salad niçoise, asparagus soup with ricotta crostini) but the cheese plate was underwhelming for the price and I was very disappointed that you could not select any of the cheeses or even types of cheeses for the cheese plate. I could understand being strict about it in a regular restaurant, but this is a cheese store with a ton of cheese in stock!
google avatar

Angela B.

Yelp
Head here for all of your charcuterie needs! They have a huge variety of meats, cheeses, honey, jams, crackers and anything else you'd need to make a killer board of your own. Not interested in doing it yourself? Well, you're in luck because they have an A+ meat and cheese plate that you can enjoy in their adorable dining area. Their happy hour starts at 3, which seemed earlier than other places in the area. I'm withholding the final star because albeit very good, the meat and cheese plate was almost $40, the wine selection was lacking and the waitress wasn't overly friendly.

Yelp
While we decided to visit GSC for lunch during their event in honor of Bastille Day I am already looking forward to coming back. The shop is small with a market, bar, some seating inside and plenty more outside on their dog friendly patio. There are also fans and umbrellas to help beat that Carolina heat. The menu has some beautifully composed dishes like Prosciutto and Melon with micro herbs and Smoked Salmon Rillette with brioche. Both small plates were light and delicious but I especially loved the cantaloupe with the prosciutto because of it's combination of sweet and salty. We didn't order a board this time, which I regretted immediately after seeing how great they looked at other tables around us. The wine list is great and I loved that on this particular day they were offering $5 glasses of Rosé and other specials. But they also had a variety of other Rosés, Whites, and Reds to choose from. At one point we did feel as though we were perhaps forgotten about because there was a long period of time that we did not see a server come out to the patio. Granted it was a busy day but we did take notice since we were ready for our check. All in all, the experience was nice. Wonderful wine, great small plates, and a charming atmosphere.

Yelp
We checked today goat sheep and cow, Such a delightful surprise! Now I would like, if you allow me Describe our food and analyze. Small cheese plate and charcuterie We took with glass of wine, And melted Brie with blackberries Blew out our minds! Food's very fresh and place is grand, We really got impressed! Wine was Italian, but young, And not one of their best. For wine I would have recommend Way thicker body, more bouquet. With cheese selection they have It blend together tout parfait! Another wonderful detail Is how they serve their food, With mustard, dry fruits on the tray It will improve your mood! It was delightful surprise To see Italian foods! As well as Russian caviar! Among all other goods. Espresso shots before we gone Complete our evening there, And mustard French, with tarragon We brought with us as well. Together all we satisfied For sure we will return! The atmosphere unique and right, So guys keep going on!

Yelp
Be still, my cheese-loving heart. We stopped into goat.sheep.cow to see if we could find some fixins to bring to a friend with a new baby. We left empty-handed but full-belly'd. This is a small space with a little grocery to the right and dining area to the left. The patio looked spacious and comfortable as well. We sat at the counter and were immediately given glasses of water in beautiful glasses and offered the wine list (we politely declined as it was only around noon). Our bartender/waiter patiently answered our questions and explained the various cheese plates to us. We ended up splitting the gsc salad and a small cheese plate with extra bread. While the salad and cheese plate were both divine, my favorite part was the variety of silverware! My fork and knife each came from different hotels and my sister's set came from a third hotel. A waitress refilling water had a silver pitcher from yet another hotel and explained that they had used an antique dealer who specialized in items from old hotels. This suited the location perfectly and gave it some extra personality. While waiting for our check, I took a quick peek at the grocery part. There is a full wall of wine/cider varieties at decent prices that definitely got my attention. If it hadn't been my last day in Charleston, I would have purchased a few bottles to try. There are a number of shelves in the center aisle with many types of crackers and breads and various foodstuffs. You can purchase meats and cheeses -- basically, this is the store to visit to assemble a lovely hostess gift. I was very impressed.

Yelp
I was looking for a shop in Charleston to create a beautiful charcuterie board for a bride & groom on their destination wedding and staying at Meeting Street Inn. After almost 2 days of searching , as I am not in Charleston and trying to arrange this from out of state , I came across Colin at goat.sheep.cow. Unlike almost every other shop that either couldn't help ideate how to make this work - Colin ran with my request, giving me options, and promising to deliver an amazing gift within 24 hours. Colin called me when ready, and I had an Uber driver pickup and deliver ( added a good tip) to Meeting Street Inn. The bride and groom were blown away and said it was the most elaborate charcuterie board they had ever seen and so delicious, paired with the wine Colin had included. Big thank you to Colin and the team for not only delivering a top notch quality pairings of deliciousness ; but thank you Colin for going above and beyond after I had found so many dead ends in making this happen logistically!

Yelp
Words cannot actually describe how fabulous this place is. WOW factor as soon as you pull open those front doors. We came for lunch but as soon as we entered decided we needed at least a half hour to peruse their merchandise, Cheeses from across the globe, prosciutto, salamis olives, oils vinegars wines. etc etc... The selection is huge. This is a fantastic place for that gift.. The parents, The boss, The new home owners etc. perfect for those who are difficult to buy for. So you either give them a budget & they select it you can select. Awesome either way. Lunch was fantastic. We ordered the large Cheese & Charcuterie Board. Beautiful Presentation. We chose to eat outside on the Patio. This whole experience reminded me of Europe. The eclectic, clean modern vibe in here is spot on. Brilliant choice for a first date!! Enclosed parking at the side of the building or the street.

Yelp
I was unfortunately underwhelmed by my first experience. Not underwhelmed in the quality, presentation, or beautiful bar, but underwhelmed with the service by some staff and the prices. Goat.Sheep.Cow is high quality, but I just can't swallow paying $$$$ for wine and cheese in NoMo. Or in general. I had a HH glass of wine, a regular priced glass of wine, and split the medium plate with my friend, and I walked out paying almost $40. I'll stick to my favorite wine and cheese shop unless someone else is buying. We arrived just before 6pm which is when their happy hour ends (strike 1, way too early to end HH). It was packed. Come early. The first guy, one of the good ones, told me this so that I could order a glass of their $6 rose for myself and my friend. Good on him. We ordered the medium plate and it was a beautiful presentation, but came with a hefty price tag. You also don't choose what you want; it's the chef's choice. That's a little different than I'm used to, but it was very good nonetheless. While the person who rang us up did explain in the beginning that split checks look odd on the receipt, I did not realize just how odd it would be. It's bizarre and makes you feel like you're being charged more than you should be but just on some items. I would always ask because after 2 glasses of wine and a long day at work, the last thing I want to do is attempt to read an overly complicated receipt.

Yelp
I stopped into Goat Sheep Cow North the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. I've been dying to check this place out since it is literally right across the street from my office. I was by myself and sat at the bar. The first thing I noticed was how gorgeous the decor was. It felt upscale, and almost like a nicer bar you would see in a bigger city. The marble bar, everything blew me away. I arrived at lunch time and the place was busy. (I guess everyone else wanted that lunch vino too!). I ordered a glass of rose. The pour was large. I can't remember the cost, but I want to say around $9-$10 for the glass. I then ordered the Sandwich of the Day. It was a roast beef sandwich, with a bacon jam, on a baguette. I've heard people rave about their sandwich of the day and I was excited to try it. The bread was very crunchy and you could tell very fresh. The bacon jam was super sweet and super delicious. The sandwich literally melted in my mouth. It was probably the best roast beef sandwich I've ever had. The service was A+. It was busy, but the bartender was very attentive. The only downside is it is a bit pricey. I spent about $30 on wine and sandwich (no side with it or anything). I wouldn't go there for lunch every day, but for special occasions, it is a great spot.

Yelp
Went in and wandered around and the store side had a lot of nice stuff but there wasnt anyone at the register. Went to the bar side and sat down and were ignored by the bartender. My friend and decided to leave and then the bartender yelled that there were menus by the register and watched us go get them instead of bringing them to us. I wanted to ask about the wines but she was ignoring us so I got up to go to the retail side to find wine and she yelled out there's a corkage fee of $15 for that. I went to the cheese counter and asked if I could get assistance getting a bottle of wine. Bought wine and took it back to the bar. Asked the bartender to open it and provide glasses and she told me I had to wait till she made sandwiches. So we sat there looking at our wine while she made two sandwiches. Finally got the wine service I was paying for and was feeling better. Then she starts interrupting our conversation every five minutes to chime in with her opinion. It was bizarre. The place is called Babas and it was the worst customer service I have had in Charleston.
google avatar

Leah B.

Yelp
I had to jump on here and write the best review about GSC! We went last night and had the absolute best service, charcuterie and dessert. The bartender explained the different wines without making us feel silly about not knowing a ton about wine. The meat and cheese were delicious and fun to try so many different kinds even with the small board. We also had cheesecake for dessert and I usually don't like cheesecake. It was more like a whipped dessert and so tasty. Thank you for making our date night so special and having amazing service.

Yelp
Delicious. Flavorful. Cheesy. Basically had my fill of cheese here and wish I had more. We stopped by because of the interesting store name. I personally am so happy to find an artisan cheese shop. We decided to sit down & have a late lunch here. Ordered 2 glasses of wine off the happy hour menu, a cheese & charcuterie board and some mac and cheese. Now some people may thing this is cheese overload, and to those people, I say, you have not lived life properly. It was DELISH! The mac and cheese here is PERFECT, and we have been to Beecher's in Seattle, SD's Mac & Cheese Festival, we STACKed our own mac, and the mac & cheese here is just OH EM GEE. The board was amazing as well, we got 4 cheeses, nuts, meats & dried fruit with mustard. We got to chit chat with the "store" side and for us, a little confusing to navigate at first because you are just overwhelmed by all the amazingness inside, but honestly, we left very happy campers. Staff was very professional and kind and they have both indoor and outdoor seating. If you couldn't already tell, we will be back, gotta try their "crack" cheese!

Yelp
This place is fantastic for lunch. I ordered the veggie quiche and GSC salad and it tasted so fresh and delicious. They use quality ingredients. It was healthy and priced perfectly. The setting is quaintly rustic and charming. Highly recommend!!

Yelp
Enough superlatives do not exist to properly describe and provide GSC the justice it deserves. Their new space on Meeting St (near Tattooed Moose, Butcher & Bee, and Edmund's Oast) is visually stunning - reminiscent of Europe but firmly placed in Charleston at the same time. The indoor bar and eating areas are dark and glamorous and there is an outside patio as well. The cheese and meat counter area is spacious and spread out, allowing plenty of room to browse the offerings. This location serves many different purposes. For me, it has been a special spot to pick out unique bottles of wine for special occasions; their expert advice provided the champagne for my husband's proposal and has complimented many holiday dinners with really cool wines. It's our go to picnic supplier for bread, cheese, and meat and a fun spot to put together a care basket for friends. Tastings are fun and educational. And now it's going to be my go-to spot for basically any time I want a snack and some wine in a setting more glamorous than my living room. Their sit-down menu offers everything from the expected meat and cheese boards to grilled cheese sandwiches, a take on a muffaletta, soup, salads, and snacks. The beverage list is inclusive and hits on every taste and price range (non-alcoholic as well). Patty and Trudi are gifts to this city; their friendliness, hosting skills, and most importantly their knowledge and impeccable taste are much appreciated and have forever improved the Charleston wine & cheese scene.

Yelp
I came for dinner with some girlfriends last night and it was lovely. The meat and cheese board was so yummy and thoughtfully laid out. My Mac n cheese was SO decadent and rich. As a Mac n cheese lover, I kinda wish I'd gotten a small instead of a large *because* of how rich it was. Ya bet I ate all of my large order, though! I couldn't not finish it. I also tried the hot dog that another one of us ordered and it was excellent. It is a bit spicy, but this is coming from someone with painfully low tolerance for spice. For anyone with any tolerance or spice, it's excellent. The wine was great, and the table setting was great! The plates, napkins, and glasses were gorgeous. I wish I got the waitress's name - I arrived late, so I wasn't present for her introduction. I'm definitely looking forward to returning.

Yelp
Cheese lovers rejoice! The second location for Goat.Sheep.Cow has opened in the ever-growing Half Mile North neighborhood of downtown. The space is trendy, ever so slightly industrial with exposed beams and ductwork and super polished and sophisticated. You just feel special the minute you walk through the doors. Inside a large bar wraps around the front of the shop adjacent to the cheese counter. Patrons can also enjoy a glass of wine and bites to eat outside on the patio tucked next to the building. A carefully crafted selection of wines, cheeses, salamis and accoutrements are available for purchase. Great gifts for the culinary inclined. Or the perfect treat-yo'self spot to shop. I can't wait to visit again and show off this space to friends and family. And indulge a bit in the food and wine!!

Harvey S.

Yelp
For help with your cheese and meat selections - Goat Cow Sheep - is the place. It all about that personal help you receive at GCS! Also the quality of product that they have found is exceptional! Also the wine and cracker section are also top notch!! Love to shop here -

Yelp
Stopped into goat. sheep. cow. North for lunch today. There is limited parking around and since it was dreary and cold we opted to get a ride share there. We came in during prime lunch time and while all of the tables were occupied there were several spots open at the bar. We were greeted promptly and were told the specials of the day. Everyday they have a special sandwich (limited quantities, available during lunch only) and today's was a definite hit! I'd recommend getting one of whatever's offered when you're there. My companion had the daily sandwich. I had the quiche Lorraine with a beautiful perfectly dress salad. We shared a bowl of the French onion soup that is absolutely delicious with just the right amount of croutons and melty, bubbly cheese. All of the food was beautiful and tasty. I docked a star because the service could use some work and parking isn't great. We had fair service but being at the bar you'd assume someone would be available whenever you needed something but it took a while for a drip coffee refill and I never got a spoon for mixing my coffee. I love the look of the cafe and the retail section is well stocked. I've had good luck purchasing wines from gsc and am planning to return over the next few days for some specialty cheese.

Yelp
Love, love, love this place. It's cute, it is quaint, and if you squint just enough, you feel like you aren't in Charleston anymore. The people were great, even our server who was new and didn't have all the items down yet. He was still gracious and accommodating to all our questions. We ordered a few things to try out as it was my first time. I got the side salad, pumpkin soup, and their special sandwich which included turkey, goose bacon (is this really a thing now and why don't we have this readily available?!?), stone ground mustard, dukes mayo, lettuce, and thinly sliced tomatoes. Everything and I mean everything, was a work of art. Except maybe the grilled cheese. All the pictures we were able to take there were amazing, even their side plates of blue china. It is small and maybe you could get a large party on their high top table area of 10ish. But we enjoyed our time especially because we got there at 11 and it wasn't packed. They do have a private lot with 5 stalls and 1 handicap stall. But there is street parking if you are lucky (don't forget your parallel parking skills at home people!). At the end of the meal I picked up some cheeses to take home. They sell most by the pound, some are individually priced. And most are from Europe! I see a picnic day in my future getting a board made, with bread and wine!!

Yelp
Every time I eat here, I leave asking myself how people can be so pretentious, and where the heck did my money go? On a positive note, they have an outstanding cheese selection. Probably the best assortment of unusual cheeses in town. If you're a cheese lover, it's fun to go in there and discover something new. If you get a nice person behind the counter, they won't make you feel like a jackalope for having samples. However: It is so overpriced. The service (restaurant side) is very much like they could give a rats ass if you're there or not. They're not rude, but definitely not happy to see you or very welcoming. They talk about their "wine program". They charge you a $5 PER CHEESE plating fee if you want to order something from the retail side but eat it there. Highway robbery! I also heard that their new brunch menu features $12 avocado toast. Get over yourselves! Our last visit was definitely the last time I will ever eat on the restaurant side, at least on my own dollar. I might go back to buy cheese to take home, but for cheese boards and wine, I'll definitely be heading to Wine & Co (so friendly!) or Accent on Wine in Park Circle.

Yelp
This is actually 2 places in 1: Babbas and Goat Sheep Cow. They don't actually do charcuterie boards as you see in the pretty pictures here, but you order from the counter of Babas and the only option is small meat and cheese board for $16 (chefs choice). The experience was a bit confusing no one really greets you and the food (aka charcuterie board) left much to be desired. Cute for ambiance but won't be back.

Yelp
Craft cheeses and specialty foods. High end quality sandwich meats. Sit down and enjoy the foods provided, outside or inside. The place is beautiful and super clean. We had a great sandwich with salami, basil, pesto, mozzarella. Wow, fantastic. Wine selection is outstanding. They will give you samples of any cheese that you want, how great is that. Eat In or take out. This place will be very busy very soon. Only been open for 6 months. Go now before everyone finds this Gem. Frank G

Yelp
I wish I had visited this spot earlier! Loved the charm of the inside and all the details down to the water glasses. I went with a small group of friends and we were able to get a table immediately. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. The cheese board was delightful and visually stunning. The crack cheese lived up to its name. Definitely going back!

Yelp
First off, I do really like this place. The interior is beautiful, the cheeses are amazing (albeit pricey) and the wine is interesting and diverse. It's a gem. The problem is the staff. They can't tell you about the wine or cheese, nor do they care to. They all seem so perfunctory, like they just don't care about anything. They definitely lack passion. People who are coming to a place like this generally want an informed server. Someone who can tell you about the specific cheese and wines, suggest pairing...and possibly smile and muster up a smidge of excitement about the awesome cheese/wine? Seems like a nice enough place to work but everyone just seems miserable. Not sure what the deal is.

Yelp
I finally went here for the first time the other night and it did not disappoint! My friend and I went to a later dinner and ordered the large charcuterie and cheese board along with some wine and the crack cheese. It was so delicious!! Our waitress was very friendly and attentive and helpful with recommendations and answering out questions. I would definitely recommend this place and make sure you order the crack cheese!!

Yelp
It is a wonderland for any cheese, wine, and cured meat enthusiast! They have a wide selection of cheese and cured meats and are very knowledgeable about each item and helpful in answering any questions. We started out with a lovely charcuterie board with 4 different types of cheese, cappricola ham, a meat pate type thing, and a variety oof sweet dried fruit and nuts to balance out the salty meats and delicious cheese. The wine was fantastic, we got two different reds after they were recommended to us, and the recommendation was great! For entrees we got the French onion soup (one of the best I have ever tried) and the croque forestier which was basically a fancy and oh so delicious grilled cheese sandwich (I was so hungry and it was so good I forgot to take a picture, but will hAve to got back! Overall a great spot for a casual lunch or elegant dinner with soup, sandwiches, and all things wine, cheese, and cured meat related. They have rotating specials. Only reason not 5 stars is because I don't love cheese and cured meats as much as other dishes, but they do wine, meat and cheese very well!

Yelp
We visited on a Monday night. Unfortunately the retail side was already closed so I didn't get a chance to browse. We sat down and had drinks and a cheese & charcuterie board. I loved the presentation of the board and all the accompaniments. The interior has a comtemporary elegance and it was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Given how empty it was, service was a bit slow, but we weren't in a hurry and didn't mind too much. We ordered a slice of lemon cake to go, and it was a delicious treat later in the night.

Yelp
Cheese, yes please! The GSC-N location is such a cute spot! Indoor and outdoor seating as well as bar seating. HH hour specials even on Saturdays! We chose to eat at the bar, and the restaurant filled up rather quickly. We chose the Italian sandwich and mixed greens Cobb salad to split. Once I bit into the sandwich, I really didn't want to share!! We added mortadella, IMO that just makes every Italian sandwich top-notch. The roasted tomatoes are also one of my favorite flavors that and the perfect crusty bread just makes this flavor profile excel over the rest!! Yes, I'm totally salivating thinking about this sandwich. The salad was good, but the dressing didn't go over well for me. Next time ask about the dressing - this was lemony as I recall. After HH wine and lunch we went to check out the cheese cases. We got a triple cream Brie- definitely one of my favorites and some accompaniments.. try the tart cherries! Staff is friendly and really helpful answering questions about the cheeses! Looking forward to hopefully being in town for their next raclette event. I've missed both times -- Check this place out, you will love it!

Yelp
What a great find here in Charleston. If you are looking for a place you can have a special cheese plate and excellent wine to pair with it this is the place. They have cheese you can buy to take home as well. Numerous bottles if wine you won't find anywhere else and someone to help you make just that right choice. We had a delicious lunch which included croque monsieur and a lightly dressed salad. You can't go wrong with any choice on the menu. I will be back for sure.

Yelp
I've been to this place at least 5 times now and feel like I have to write a review to address some of the items I hope they will fix. First, the meat and cheese board are nice and though a touch expensive they aren't outrageous. The wines by the bottle are interesting and priced fairly well. Wines by the glass are a tremendous rip off however and I'm convinced that they do a 6 glass per bottle pour. The room and decor are lovely. On to the less pleasant item, the staff just almost never smile and try their best to not speak to you at all if possible. I'm not chatty with servers typically but mild pleasantries in this setting is kind of expected. It has bordered on rude. I feel like many of the staff just hate being there. Not sure what the problem is but management clearly needs to address this issue. It definitely throws a wet blanket on the occasion when so many of the staff are so unhappy.

Yelp
Charcuterie Paradise. Very close to a 5 in my book. This particular location has both a retail side and dining side. While we didn't eat anything major (they have sandwhiches), we got the medium meat and cheese plate ($24) and a glass of wine each ($10/glass). I loved the wine which the bartender recommended, right on point with my palate. The meat and cheese plate comes with at least a goat cheese, sheep cheese, and cow cheese. Along with some other charcuterie board goodies. I will say that I was surprised a $24 board only included one meat. Given this, I'd probably give it a 4.5. I understand I'm complaining about price at an expensive place, but hey I still had a blast. Some of their meats and cheeses for sale on the retail side were upwards of $30/lb. Definitely a good place for the charcuterie lovers. tl;dr if you like charcuterie and have charcuterie money, show up and show out. Otherwise, another wine place might be a better financial option.

Yelp
This was another place that was recommended on a travel blog on Pinterest so I knew that I had to try it out. My friends and I are big fans of trying different kinds of wine and cheese boards so we knew this was the place for us. The ambiance is great, very clean and minimalistic. I really loved that these sort of unique places are father away from the hustle and bustle of King's street. I had a glass of rose and shared a cheese plate with my two friends. The cheeses were great, but I particularly enjoyed the dried fruits and fresh almonds. Service was fast and overall I had a great experience!

Yelp
Stopped in to get a few selections to go. There is plenty to choose from, but they were not quick to offer suggestions or explain what they had. It would've been helpful to know more about what they had to offer other than the writing on the little cards. It's a hip spot if you're feeling fancy. They have a small wine selection if you choose to dine in and a menu of bistro type food.

Yelp
I am sad to only give it 3 stars but it was not worth the price. We sat down and ordered three sandwiches, it took a long time for the food to come out (I know they cook it fresh, but they were talking among each other at the counter and so this added to the extra time it took). The GSC sandwich when it arrived had a ridiculously hard crust you could not bit into (if you did you might break some teeth). The other two sandwiches were good but not great. Service was really slow and honestly a little snotty. The cheeses were extremely overpriced and so were the meats. I was expecting so much more from the reviews and it really fell short. I do not recommend..

Yelp
Love charcuteries, but don't love choosing the "right" cheese or meats? Well, goat. sheep. cow. is your best friend and you won't be disappointed. I came here for lunch and absolutely feel in love with this place. We ordered the large Cheese & Charcuterie board to share. I love the fact that everything is picked out for you. No need to read through an extensive list of cheese and meats that mean nothing to you. For an entree, I had the Italian Style Sub. It was so hard making a decision because all their sandwiches looked good and their daily special sounded amazing. In the end, the Italian Sub won because it had prosciutto. It came with a side salad, which was light and refreshing. I ordered one of their roses and it tasted quite nice. It paired well with all the meats, cheeses, and sub. Don't expect to grub out and roll up your sleeve to dig in. This is the place to sit back and enjoy each bite. I also have to point out that their tableware was absolutely adorable. Plates, charcuterie board, and silverware were begging for pictures to be taken! Service was exceptional. The chef came out to describe each cheese and meat and the waitress made sure to check in throughout our meal. Just writing this review makes me want to head over!
