This place is on the smaller side and gets lost amidst the other more popular pintxos bars like Zeruko, Bar Nestor. It's also across from Bar Txalupa which seems like the biggest tourist trap, so if you're trying to decide between these two, come to Goiz Argi instead! They are known for their brocheta de gambas, which is 4 grilled prawns on a skewer, with a garlic sauce on top. It's delicious, and with the garlic and bread, it's simple but great.
This seems to be an older, most classic pintxos bar; they do have some pintxos out on the counter but nothing is showy or as experimental as Zeruko. A lot of what you order is off the menu and they will make it in the small kitchen right in front of you. It seems like this place specializes in seafood. If you find yourself around this bar, pop in for the shrimp skewers and a glass of house wine. I wouldn't necessarily make a special trip to come here, but if you have time, come here. Otherwise, you can probably get grilled shrimp elsewhere.
