Where to Find the Best Gulab Jamuns and Rasgullas in Atlanta | Eater Atlanta

"At Gokul Sweets' Decatur and Duluth locations you'll find traditional kala jamun and gulab jamun as well as kala jamun split and topped with a thin layer of cream; they also carry coconut-dusted kala jamun and gulab jamun stuffed with nuts and chenna or sliced into rounds that showcase colorful centers." - Nandita Godbole

We have ordered 10 Samosas and Dhoklas. It was made refresh and served hot. It tastes amazing and no complaints on the dishes. But it was very expensive. We paid 60 dollars for the items. They had a variety of sweets and it attracts lot many desi buyers.

Google
Their quality is degrading. Sevpuri had stale chutneys in it.This is what they serve as a Veg pulav and instead of raita just gave us the Yogurt without telling us that they dont have a raita. Never coming back again to this place

Very poor service and food was below average this time. Been coming here and supporting them for last 20 plus years at Decatur location. For last 3 or so years service and food is way below average. Guess they made there money so don't care anymore. Oh well life goes on. Half cooked and watery sambhar.

Google
we had the pleasure of dining at this establishment and indulging in a wide range of delectable dishes. Our order consisted of the cut mirchi, bhel puri (which was ok-ish), Masala Dosa, pav bhaji, we are happy with flavors of each dish. They also have a diverse selection of sweets and snacks. The service was awesome as well. Have very big space with good ambience.I would definitely come again.

Google
Huge collection of Indian sweets and savory. Good taste. Did not get a chance to explore their lunch/dinner menu but looks yummy. Will definitely try in future.

Google
Went for an early dinner. Mr Farhan greeted at counter and offered apt assistance - appreciate the same. Place seems run/owned by non Indian and non-veg consumer but understanding the demand for veg choices, Indian cuisine- this place offers good veg choices. Quality and quality both are good. I saw crowd build up over the period of time I was there. I took Halwai Puri (less oily, sufficient size, hot halwa) and coffee. Taste is ok. Puri was served with Channa - good taste, sufficient quantity. Visit if you are looking for veg options in this area and I am sure you may not be disappointed. Happy eating.

Google
Don’t know why this place is hyped so much !! We got 2 lb mixed sweets and shakarpada ( snacks ) and ordered dokhla and pao bhaji for dining . Shakarpada had a horrible oily after taste. The mixed sweets ( ladoo , peda , chamcham etc ) tasted just like the ones kept in grocery’s cold section. It hardly felt like freshly made. Dhokla was a bummer - I can make better than what they served me and I am called a horrible cook. And who tops dhokla with a kg of nylon mixture ?? Guys , this one should be named as disappointment and not dhokla .. The bhaji in pao bhaji was a saver as it tasted the way it should taste . But the dish was spoiled with sweet buns .. That green chutney was surely chemical mixed in fridge cold water :( Wondering who is cooking in their kitchen responsible for my sheer waste of 60 dollars . Dining area is awfully dirty and I wiped my table myself - I rated service as 5 for the sweet women on mithai counter who patiently helped us . The rest were pain .

Google
I feel they don’t make fresh food anymore. We had ordered Chile bhature and dahi sev puri. I could feel nothing was fresh. And yeah me and my husband both got food poisoning after eating. It’s a big NO NO for that place now

Yelp
Gokul is a great spot to get some sweets and Indian snacks. We had the pav bhaji, dosa, and a few chaats. Out of everything that we tried the pav bhaji was the best. They also have a large selection of sweets and savory snacks to try out. Great place to create a custom gift of Indian sweets.

Yelp
It's very casual, but great and quick food. Excellent veg and vegan options. We get the mixed vegetables, chana masala, and samosas on the regular but when we've tried new things, we've never been disappointed. Very friendly and helpful staff for accommodating food allergies.

Yelp
Walked in, looked inviting with sweet/snack display. We ordered dinner, sat down for dine-in. Table was dirty, we tissue wiped it. Looked around, overall place looked filthy dirty. Shoes felt sticky on the floor, unkept restaurant. Food took time to come to the table but was not very disappointing. I will give it 2 stars only for the food. Not returning here.

Yelp
Good location and convenient parking lot. Huge varieties of sweets and savory items. You can taste it to buy. Good selection and quality. Restaurant is just ok. Raj Kachori was spicy and hardly any chutney or yogurt inside. Bhelpuri was decent with good quality. Uttapam was ok kinds but with good sambhar.

Yelp
my friend introduced me to gokul sweets and i'm so glad she did! it's an authentic indian vegetarian restaurant with sweets galore. we had the vegetable garlic fried rice, bhindi masala (okra), chana masala (chickpeas), bharta (?), and brought home some sweets. i don't know the official names for our dishes, so i apologize. i tried a delicious dessert that was red, yellow and green. authentic food + environment, high quality foods, and lovely dessert selection. everything was delicious and highly recommended for dine-in or takeout. ambiance: 5/5 food: 5/5 service: 5/5 gokul sweets: 5/5

Yelp
I ordered a large amount of Indian sweets to take with me on a flight for an event and the process couldn't be smoother. From taking my order to following up with calls and wrapping the boxes carefully, everything was taken care of. I was very pleased with the quality of the sweets as they felt fresh even 3 days later when they were served. Must try place for Indian mithai!!

Yelp
Great place for Indian chat items and Indian sweets. Ordered Medu Vada which comes with sambhar and chutney. I loved it. Also, tried Vada Paav which was good in taste. Mango Shrikhand was so tasty and sweet. Nice ambience, good taste, quality food, nominal prices and fast service. They should only get better in cleaning the tables as people leave from there, else all good. Lots of options and the food comes with-in 30 minutes or so at the busiest times, but can take longer sometimes. Their best items are the chat items or evening time and they almost always come out fresh. The only trouble is that there is limited seating and so you might have to wait for a table to clear-up before you sit and order. You also might have to remind the service staff sometime to restock utensils, water, or for your food. Ample free parking in front of the restaurant. I definitely recommend this place to try if you are in and around the area. They also have best Indian Paan shop here inside the premises. It is a must try for Paan lovers.

Yelp
Chat was no good, neither was the pav bhajis. No one makes chat with thick sev. And no one makes sev puri using gol gappa Puris. Have eaten here a while back when it was good, but will not be back here.

Yelp
Let me start by saying the place has super cute decor- it's a really fun location! Our family came here for chaat, and honestly, it was ok. The puri's didn't really have enough chutney to be distributed well- it was delicious when you got a bite of everything together, but it wasn't often that you got that bite. We also felt that it was a little too salty. The falooda was excellent! No complaints there, it was the perfect amount of sweetness, and I loved it completely. There was a LOT of different options on the menu, so it's possible other dishes would be better than ours- would recommend trying a variety.

Yelp
Fantastic all vegeterian snack with many juices, drinks including falooda and 2 types of Panipuri... Great place to have Veg Indian snacks, appetizers and rice items

Yelp
I really feel this place has lost it's touch. My last was a total disaster ! Guess this happens when a restaurant and the. Staff gets enough clout....

Mardnus A.

Yelp
Awful! Why Visit Gokul Sweets to loose your happiness and eat cold, old food? The service and food were below par! My Mysore dosa came at room temperature, the Vada Pav was warm & the tea I had was bitter (perhaps spoilt. When I did complain about it the lady at front desk was pretty upset about it and annoyed.

Yelp
Tucked inside a small shopping center across from a Quicktrip gas station, this has been on my list of places to try for like, forever. We made a very spur-of-the-moment visit to pick up some sweets to cure my cravings. This place is very busy. There are cars going in and out the plaza constantly. We walk in to find that there is also a food menu to place to-go orders, and several cases of sweet stuffs to the right as soon as you walk in. All staff are wearing masks and using gloves. There is A LOT to choose from. You buy them by weight, and most things were 7.99 per lbs, so I asked them for 1 lbs of random milk sweets and 1 lbs of random nut sweets. 1 lb of sweet fit into one of the medium plastic bins. The very first thing I noticed was that alot of items I ate were stale. They were on the verge of crusting over (ive had indian sweets before) and some of them went as far as tasting sour, which I know these items shouldnt be. This probably took the 2 stars away from this review considering... they are selling stale food. If the items were fresh, they would have been great. I dont know the names of all the things I tried but the most memorable ones were the cashew and pistachio sweets. They are flat diamond shaped and have edible foil on top. The pistachio ones were diamond shaped and dyed green. Id definitely give them another try someday, but after years of wanting to try this place the staleness was a huge dissapointment. Maybe the review will change after i try their entrees.

Yelp
Came in to buy Indian desserts and was very pleased by the wide selection. I ordered Gulab Jamin and Rusgullahs to go. Very disappointed. Not fresh, not made correctly, and too tough, like rubber. So disappointing!

Yelp
I'm a regular here, so my review covers my opinion from a collection of visits. And for the record, it's one of the first OTP Indian restaurants I'd recommend for some quality homecooked-style food. Service: Don't expect anything great. In some way, that's the beauty of this place. They're not super proactive in checking on you or bringing the check. Not rude or lazy, just a bit distant. Food: It's pretty authentic Indian food and they have options of things I dream my mum will make one weekend when she has the whole day to make all the separate ingredients and put them together. It's not overplayed like in Atlanta restaurants - it's just the real deal Indian food that you eat with your hands, no try-hard gotta-be-photogenic-ness. It's for this reason that I come here as a regular when I just want some good food. In fact, I'm craving it as I write this... I'd suggest more on the chaat / snacks side of things personally because they come with all these chutneys and layers of flavor. Menu: They offer a nice spread of snacks, meals, munch-ons, and even drinks (milkshakes, lassi). I love that everything is visible - whether it be snacks you buy on the spot or some of the more sit down/to go meals that are literally ALL illustrated in images. Definitely try some of the things they sell at the counter to the right! I like more of the dry foods bagged up because I'm not as into Indian sweets (sorry - it's just sugar to me!). The papdi ghatiya here are what we know this place for in my entire extended family. Environment: It's a cheap, fast food type place, so everything is plastic from the cups to the silverware to the plates. Not very environmentally friendly... they can't find some cheap dishware? I will say it's nice being surrounded by the different snacks and they've definitely fancified their decorations, even adding a tree for Christmas.

Yelp
We came here for the paan only, and it was a 5 star experience. Both the Uncle and the Auntie who make the paan are incredibly friendly. They will customize the order to include only the stuff you like, and the paan leaves are very fresh and green. Highly recommend that you try it with the paan chutney!
google avatar

Yelp
Worse food. Can't recognize what's I am eating. Paneer Tikka Masala- dark red artificially colored amalgam. Taste horrible, look horrible and horrible flavor. So much color added that paneer pieces are turned dark red. What am I eating? A food or dye! Paneer Tikka Masala: 0/5. Worthless! Samosa: ok in taste, oily. 2/5! Overall 1/5. This is NOT an Indian food I ate, eat or will accept to eat! Was in an invited lunch that served catered food.

Jayesh L.

Yelp
The decor is a little garish but it has its charm in it's own way. We went to have Chaat, but we were disappointed. The Pani Puri was great, but like all Pani puris, 6 puris are never enough. Everything else was too sweet. The upma was too goopy. Its goopma, not upma. The dahi puri didn't have enough dahi. We were going to buy sweets, but the sweets looked too artificially colored.

Yelp
I was thrilled when my son and I finally got to try this spot! There is a private lot, so parking is easy. The restaurant is a good size, and was bustling on the Sunday afternoon we visited. We came at about 3 pm, an off meal time, but it was still doing a brisk business. We were seated at a large table and had a friendly server who introduced us to some new items. We stopped in because I had a craving for pav bhaji, so we ordered that immediately. We also had a chai masala, a mango lassi, samosas, and a sweet heart shaped treat that caught my son's eye. The chai masala was hot and peppery - a perfect afternoon pick-me-up. My son's mango lassi was sweet and creamy. The samosas were good, but then again I have never had a samosa I didn't like. Hard to go wrong with fried foods! The pav bhaji was great and had a nice touch of heat. Go ahead and order extra pav. With all the butter, you may feel guilty, but you will savor every bite! The sweet treat was a perfect finish. Not too sweet, but just right to finish off our meal. We will be back!

Yelp
I don't even know where to start. Opening times are not consistent. I've waited up to 30 mins and still no one would show up. Yesterday, we got there at 1:30pm. My daughter likes her dosa very crispy and it came soft. I told the guy and he said the stove must not be hot enough yet and just left. No apologies. Same with my uttapam, it tasted uncooked. We ate a little bit and then recooked it at home. The coconut chutney was runny as well. Management must have changed because it was not like this 6 months ago. We won't be back except for the sweets.

Yelp
I don't want to give a negative review during a pandemic; however if I could give ZERO stars, I would. I went here to pick up sweets for Diwali and there was a huge line given how good they are. But the person serving the sweets was not wearing a mask clearly talking over and into the sweet boxes he was packing for the customers. In addition, some of the other servers serving food at tables were not properly wearing a mask. They either didn't cover their nose or didn't cover both their mouth and nose. I would expect people to at least know better given we are 8 months into a pandemic, but clearly they don't. If you don't want to catch Covid for free along with your food and sweets, then I would avoid this place for good and go to an Indian grocery store instead which is where I ended up going.
google avatar

Misha D.

Yelp
I visited a few days ago and picked up some appetizers and faloodas with my family. While the food was great, I have to say I was a bit disappointed to see the negligence on respecting core COVID best practices. Most of the staff was not wearing a mask. The few that were had their masks hanging on their chin- which totally defeats the purpose! I even saw the cooks in the back working with no mask on. It was equally frustrating to see the staff taking orders from people walking in with NO mask on. Many of the patrons also repeatedly walked around the store with no mask on either. It's scary times around Georgia- it's unfortunate to see this restaurant totally disregarding the safety of their staff and patrons. If you really want food from here, I recommend calling ahead and picking up.

Yelp
First time we tried here & I am very satisfied with fresh food & great service ! It was very busy but the person who was in the register was very calm & efficient in handling the crowd. Best garlic nun I ever had so far with Panir tikka masala . Before I leave the restaurant Farhan who was managing the business helped us wrapping our food with to go box , I asked his name so I don't forget to mention his name in my review. Totally satisfied customer who will come back soon !
google avatar

Sranee B.

Yelp
My family and I really like the food here, especially the chats! Our favs are the samosa chat and the Raj Kachoori. I also enjoy their chole battura. However, I was really disappointed in how they are operating during the pandemic. Employees and cooks in the back are inconsistently wearing masks or wearing them on their chin. Service could be better too, as the guy taking our order was gossiping on the phone rather than paying attention to costumers. Also, the last few times I've visited to pick up my order I noticed the dining area does not look as clean as it once was pre-covid. Bottom line, the food is good and they have a variety of sweets and snacks; however, I recommend take out due to safety and cleanliness.
google avatar

Suhana E.

Yelp
The inside is very impressive with so many kinds of sweets and street snacks to choose from. I've tried pav bhaji, dahi puri, sev puri, mango lassi. Everything was very good. I will return.
google avatar

Sarah I.

Yelp
Anyone who is unfamiliar with Indian food, this isn't your typical Indian restaurant. This is what is known as a "chaat house" which in simple terms means a snack place. Gokul has a very good menu of snacks and an extensive variety of Indian sweets too. The type of snacks are more Indian street foods. I tried the pau bhaji which means a potato curry with bread rolls. I've never ever had that before and it was excellent. My favorite thing is what's known as "chaat". The general term means a snack which is tangy and has often has a variety of textures. Most are chickpea based. Gokul had a large variety of chaats on the menu. I had the papri chaat- chickpeas, potatoes, onions, crispy pastry pieces, yoghurt, tamarind and green chutney. It was scrumptious here! The masala dosa was excellent. The trip ended perfectly with their masala chai. This is worth a visit.
google avatar

Aiman S.

Yelp
The breakdown: good, cheap "street" eats at a fast service, low hygienic place. Gokul serves streetstyle South Indian foods, chaat, and Indian sweets. They only serve vegetarian foods. I came in with my family on a Saturday night. The place was packed and there was a line but we were seated within ten minutes. We ordered a dhai puri, paapdi chaat, dosa, and chola batura. Aside from the dosa everything came out hot and fresh. My favorite was the paapdi chaat with chole salaan (chickpeas) substituted in. It had a strong spice but complemented well with the sweet imli sauce. I'd highly recommend all the dishes we ordered. If you can't handle much spice, go for the chola batura! Oh also a huge bonus, the portions are GIANT but don't cost much. Our total bill was $54.00 for four people which included five entrees and deserts. If you don't mind places that are a little grimy, I'd definitely recommend this place. Also try their Decatur location- that one serves a little more authentic food but good nonetheless :)

Charles B.

Yelp
This restaurant is so poor. The standards they set for themselves is embarrassing. Food is absolutely terrible, from the gravy dishes to the dosas. Do NOT waste your time going here.

Yelp
Ordered Gokul thali pranthas we're old nothing tasted good, gave pickle as if it was vegetable very very disappointing food puri chole also no good

Yelp
Stale , spoiled rotten food Served. Please be careful. They don't know and understand customer service either . The lady who takes order is rude

Yelp
Try the gokul special fried rice and gobi manchurian.. along with one of the fruit juices .. its truly amazing.

Geeta K.

Yelp
They have nice and huge variety of sweets and all the sweets are fresh...I took kalakand, kaju roll, mohini roll and one more sweet which I forgot name..everything was delicious..also took plain sev which is crispy and yummy..we had batata vada and masala chai there..chai was not good..clearly understood they have heated and served it lost the flavour..batata wada was nice amd big...they have given green and tamarind chutneys..it was tasting nice with it..husband wanted to have kachori so he ordered kachori chaat which was nice too..and quite filling..they have pani puri thela inside storw but as we were already full, did not try that. There is also paan shop inside, took masala paan which was good..overall nice place to try in duluth area..will surely go again for sweets and chaat

Dilesh K.

Yelp
I wish I can give this resturant zero or less than zero stars. It was a total waste of money, I'm never again going back to this place again. This was my third visit, thinking things must have gotten better after my first two disppoinvisits. I guess that was wishful thinking. 1. Dosa was half cooked, Mysore paste had no taste, just red color paste, potato stuffing was burnt. I must have ate 1/4 of it and decided not to eat further. 2. Chilli Paneer was reheated in a microwave and it was hard and chewy. 3. My mother's uttaapam came after we all finished our food even though we had ordered it at the same time. Of course, it was half cooked. I could have asked the manager for a partial refund, decided against it as I knew I was never going to go back.

Bala I.

Yelp
Is Gokul Sweets owned by one company or are the different branches owned by different people? The store in the Patel Plaza in Decatur is very nice in terms of service and friendliness of the staff. The store on Abbotts Bridge Road has the worst service, and most unfriendly staff. The staff has no personality with the grimmest faces. Their website quotes a price but when you get to the restaurant, they charge you higher price. Their excuse, "we have changed the price". Why don't you update the website? Because it costs money. They have a captive Indian clientele, so why would they care? Patronize only the Decatur store.

Yelp
We went to this chat place with our cousins in Atlanta! Being from Bangalore , we love chats and all the fast food. This place is made for that. Service - Super fast and staff were very sweet Food - yum yum yummm Options - everything under the sun Price - Very reasonable We ordered lot of dishes and shared it . We had Gobi Manchurian, hakka noodles, hojul special fried rice, dabeli, ragada pattice, Raj kachori, Pani Puri. Everything was excellent. The highlight was Pani Puri and chikkoo milkshake. They we're just amazing. Pani Puri they give it just like in India. They have a cart, you can stand there and eat one Puri at a time. Reminded us of home. They also have paan for after food. How cool is that If you live in Atlanta, this place is a must go. Do not miss it. Also, they have a huge selection of sweets,we tried kaju barfi, rasmali and malai sandwich. They were very good too.

Runee H.

Yelp
I am from New York and lived in Silicon Valley where there is always an opportunity to have Indian cuisine. It was a culture shock moving to Loganville, GA. Nevertheless it not New York but definitely worth a visit.

Karishma P.

Yelp
Just Uber eats from here and the food was simple amazing. Highly recommend the chole bature! So so so good.

Manohar A.

Yelp
I like their food. Pre covid we would dine there , but lately only take outs. Now I am afraid of that too. Went in to get my dose of Indian sugar cakes and was surprised at the covid related safety measures. They were not at all paying attention to the safety measures. No customer mask rules were enforced nor customer safety being followed. I was browsing the sweets counter and there was a man with no mask and he actually sneezed at the jalebi plates and the. Just wiped his face. He later signed the receipt using the pen on the counter. I pointed out to the man at the counter, but did not cause any concern . Would be very careful in that environment .

Deepa K.

Yelp
Love the variety of chaats and vegetarian food options. The only place where you can get Raj kachori. Right portions, good tasting. Will definitely recommend.

Martin D.

Yelp
My wife and I had lunch here today (12/13/2022). As we were eating an enormous cockroach was scurrying under the table next to us. I alerted the person in a little booth near the entrance and she told me to tell the manager. Food was great, but we couldn't continue eating once we saw that. Terrible. Pity, as the food was great.

Yelp
Felt like chaat and I'd already tried the one in Decatur, which was really good. So finding a closer option was pretty special. There's a good amount of parking and you can either take-away or dine-in - if you dine in, they come to your table to take the order, not like the Zyka system. So finally found a place that does live pani puri - they do it at the Decatur one too. You can get the plates with it already made, but if you want to do pani puri rounds, then get it from the stand - it's served by hand. So after doing 3 sets (you get 6 in each set). I felt I probably shouldn't have ordered as much as I had already done. Too late...Ordered the Szechuan Noodles - spicy, Kachori Chaat and Masala Dosa. Pani Puri ($4.49) - was ok, but missing the spicy tangy flavour that the Decatur one had - it had a good mix of spicy and sweet and the fillings were better there as well. Szechuan Noodles ($6.99) - Decent, but not great. Maybe I should have had the Hakka Noodles instead, that's usually always a hit. But I just wanted to try something different and well, didn't work out this time. Kachori Chaat ($4.99) - Now this was awesome. Really had the right amount of everything - sauces and the mix was perfect. Masala Dosa ($7.99) - mm no, not very close to what it should be. It's ok but again, not great. Quantity - Yea, was more than enough. Ambience - This place was quite busy, most tables were full. Not as crazy as Decatur busy, but decent. Service - Was alright, didn't really come around much to check on you. You have to get their attention to let them know you need something else. Spice - 3/5 - Not close to what you can usually get, but was alright. Something was missing from the Noodles, or some other flavour at least of what Szechuan should be. Taste - The chaat is good, I've had the samosa chaat as well and that was great. The noodles, dosa and pani puri was average. I'd actually make the drive out to Decatur for the pani puri there. Will have to try the rest of the menu too next time. Overall, good chaat place. I'd give the Duluth one 3.5 and Decatur a 4, just because the taste is a bit more authentic and well slightly better. Still, it's way closer than taking the drive over to Decatur and is probably one of the best in the area.

Yelp
Do not order using GrubHub as they cancel the order because Gokul Sweets takes too long to prepare the food. The delivery driver had to wait for 40 minutes for the food to be prepared and canceled our order. We will not be ordering food from here anymore.

Yelp
Outstanding food! Everything was delicious. Loved the sambar and pani puri. It was pretty busy but food came out really fast.
google avatar

Mohan K.

Yelp
Worst food..hate to give one star may be 1/2 star. They serve all old rotten food. My friends warned me but I ignored their warnings and came. AVOID THIS Restaurant. There are better restaurant in this vicinity.
google avatar

Asi S.

Yelp
Have been coming here for years. Not sure what's going on but the quality has gone downhill. Ordered Masala Dosa everything was cold including the potato filling and sambar. Samosa chat was cold as well. Only thing that was hot was Cauliflower 65. Very disappointing. When we asked why it was taking so long on a Tuesday at 11 am their chef was late. They could have had the courtesy to let the customers know their was a wait. Won't be back for sub par cold food.

Yelp
Great one place stop for indian sweets and snacks. This restaurant setup matched the sweet shops like in india and is also making delicious authentic food. The service and ambience was good as well. I tried pani poori where the paani and chana tasted fresh and was served by hand like in india. Paav Bhaji: it was delicious where the bread was aptly basted with butter and rightly fried and the curry was made really well, and the combination just melted in the mouth. Karachi Chat: it was outright yummy all the ingredients blended really well which gave a feast tco my taste buds. They are also in the process of serving fresh pan all the setup is ready heard they are waiting on license. This place is right on my way to work and i am sure i will make lot of trips.

Yelp
This place has lost its mojo ! One word ... tasteless! Years ago , I used to love their channa Batura, Ragda pattis , dabeli. I hv travelled 100 miles many weekends for their food I was here earlier this month with my family .. sorry to say we were all utterly disappointed.. we ordered all the above and paneer dish and vada .

Yelp
I was in the neighborhood (or so I thought, but clearly I can't read a map), and came by because I was craving paneer makhani. I ordered that and some chole (chickpeas). The paneer makhani was not good at all in my opinion. I would have been better off making my own, but I was tired and did not feel like cooking. I didn't get many pieces of paneer and the sauce/gravy it was in was not good. I've definitely had better elsewhere. However the chole was REALLY good and bumped this mediocre score to a 4. I've only had their chaat at their other locations, which I think they are fantastic at. Anything heavier than chaat is a risk, which I learned the hard way.

Yelp
Excellent as always. The Duluth location is much bigger than the Decatur spots and the space is decorated beautifully. This location offers a convenient sitdown service. The staff are very friendly here and they offer the best chaat and sweets in Gwinnett. We really needed Gokul in Gwinnett. My favorites include Karachi Chat, Masala Dosa, Chole Bhature, Hakka Noodles, and their sweets are amazing. My only concern about this place is keeping my waist line in check.
