It's a really nice place for kebab and stuff. Went with family and had a couple of their platters. The meat was tender and nicely done. The food was delicious. Highly recommended if you like meat. I'd go back there again and again.

Been coming to this chain for years and was very happy when they opened this branch in Walthamstow. It is as excellent as the other ones (Green Lanes and North Circ.) and the standard has not dropped over the years as sometimes happens. The menu is extensive, the meat is juicy and flavoursome, the portions are generous. It's a large restaurant so we have always got a table even without booking but despite that the service is always really good. They have lots of attentive staff so you are never waiting around. We have 2 kids and it's perfect - they enjoy the food, it's a relaxed atmosphere and there is a small playpark outside which is a plus.

We always have a wonderful experience here, both because of the delicious food and the excellent service. Mohammad, our waiter, truly stands out; he is polite, attentive, and always serves with a warm smile. He has made such an impression that even our toddler asks about him at home! We visit quite frequently because we genuinely love the food. As a foodie who has tried many cuisines, I really appreciate the quality and consistency here. Today we also noticed an improvement in the complimentary bread, with a lovely brush of spices on top, a small touch that made a big difference. Their salad is also better than the previous one. Nice trial and error is going on with their garnish what I can see ;) We will definitely keep coming back for your lovely food and outstanding service. Keep it up, team!

Delicious food every time we have dinner here, always very fresh and tasty. Staff always so lovely especially with children.

Very neat and tidy and clean, the food is so good I felt like I was in Istanbul again! We had lahmajoun (comes with salad) and burgul, both 10/10 and everyone that works at the restaurant was helpful and nice. Would go again!

Enjoyed this thoroughly. We got the Full mixed platter for 3. It was filling and we finished most of it and had the option to take any back. Free first. Up of Turkish tea and didn’t add additional service charge. It’s a great place to eat, definitely recommend and would be back.

I love the food at Gokyuzu, it's always tasty. The prices are on the higher side these days, but it's worth it as a treat. We went for the platter for 3 (having had it previously), and it was as good as I remembered. The meats have a lovely smokiness to them, and the bed of bulgur is great. Highly recommended!
