Hadn’t been here for a bit and dropped in to hear some music - they feature live bands and no cover charge! So fun sitting outside and soaking in some good music and good food thanks to a food truck at the curb. Spent some time playing my favorite machine at the bar with 2 super friendly bartenders - they make the best cocktails in town. Everything good about Water Street can be found at Gold Mine Tavern!

I’ve been coming here for a while, and the energy is always on point — great drinks, friendly staff, and a fun mix of live music and chill hangout vibes. You can tell the team really cares about creating a safe, welcoming space. It’s become one of my go-to spots for meeting up with friends. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and want a spot that feels like a local gem!

Gold Mine Tavern is awesome! The atmosphere is krazy kool. I went there on a Tuesday not expecting to see much but they had an amazing open mic night that I guess they do every Tuesday. I had so much fun I'm going to go back next Tuesday and probably the weekend too because I cant wait to go back and another cheap ass beer. They must have the best prices in Henderson.

This is a rare sight in Vegas nowadays. The live band no cover charge. Drinks all reasonable price and not the overcharged from the strip. Awesome places with great people around.

This was a place I been going for years. I liked it because of the cheap beers and drinks and live music. Noticed throughout the years that their customer service has gone downhill. All their bartenders are rude and ignore certain people when walk-in especially when your not a local. I was there last night and the bar was at 50% capacity and I was not acknowledged and it took 15 mins to get a beer while I was gambling. Not once after I finished my beer they asked if I wanted another. I will not come back they lost a customer and I will tell my friends and family not to go there because of the service. I also think this bar is racist because they only cater to the white people and treat them like royalty. All other races are disregarded. Funny part is I have enough money to buy the bar and many more. I also didn't tip a single dollar considering I won a mini jackpot. Goldmine Tavern you suck....

I never venture out to Henderson, but my best friends band was playing so I made the journey. The Band On Fire performed on their outdoor patio and the weather was perfect. Chill spot. You go inside to the bar for drinks so I can't really comment on service or food, but I'll be back for the next concert!

The tavern is a nice place to hang out and meet people. I've been there three times and the crowd has always been welcoming. The bartenders are nice and really aware of the bar, so you always have a cold drink ready for you. The bar itself doesn't serve food but the night I was there they had a hot dog vendor in the front and that was pretty awesome. Savory hotdogs with up to 20 toppings. Wow! What a deal plus a beer can't go wrong. There are nights that they have a live band. I know that on football nights they have food vendors outside again. Eff-n-Hotdogs were a great treat.

Super cute spot in the heart of Downtown Henderson. The outdoor patio was perfect and the service was great. We all loved the live music and the food truck outside. They have an indoor bar also.

Haley is a GEM, but the bar itself? Not so much. I've been coming to Gold Mine Tavern since August, and honestly, if it weren't for Haley, I wouldn't step foot in this place again. Haley is one of the most phenomenal and genuine bartenders I've ever met! She goes above and beyond for her customers, always making sure we're taken care of . It's rare to find someone so attentive and genuinely kind. Every Tuesday and Saturday when she's here, it's an absolute pleasure to visit. However, the bar itself? It leaves a lot to be desired. I've come in on other days when Hayley isn't working, and the difference is night and day. The other staff have treated me like dirt, with zero attention or care. The service is painfully slow, and the vibe without Haley's warm presence just feels off. So, if you're looking for top-notch service, come when Hayley is working she's the true gold of this place! But without her? I'd honestly rather go anywhere else. The management needs to seriously step up their game if they want to match the level of service she provides.

I travel a lot for work, and when I am back in Vegas, I don't have a lot of free time. That means I try to make the most of that free time I do have. Part of that has included going to the Gold Mine for the last several years to decompress and have good drinks at a reasonable price. Ever since Hayley began working Tuesday swings, I started not only getting good drinks at reasonable prices, but fantastic service as well. She really knew how to connect with her patrons and was always able to make my rough days just a little bit better. I am disappointed to see Hayley doesn't work on Tuesday's anymore. Don't get me wrong there is nothing bad about the new girl, but she just isn't Hayley. I hope Gold Mine will fix this and bring Hayley back so I can start going back again.

Review # 28 of 2024 Saturday night June 28th. I stopped by for a friend's birthday party after visiting another nearby business. The place had live entertainment, which was a nice touch. There was even a food truck outside, so we grabbed a quick bite before heading inside. The outdoor patio was bustling, but we managed to find a spot to sit and enjoy the music. We were treated to performances by multiple bands, but I only had the chance to watch two of them that evening. I felt like I had finally found my crowd after missing it for so long. The event was also a fundraiser, with drink specials available. Despite the rough exterior of a biker bar, it wasn't as intimidating as some had warned. The atmosphere was laid-back, with friendly groups of people mingling. I did spot the worker, a strange man from last year's Halloween trick-or-treat night, where he had made me uneasy when he got too close around my godson. He didn't recognize me this time, so I kept my distance and let him be.

I used to like this venue when the owner was arround. Since few months, there is a group of people that own the place in a very unfriendly way. I had money withheld from my cash out, that means my own money that put into the slots machine, by a certain Shelfy or so she introduced herself, because she decided to ask me to leave the premises without good reason. I asked to have acces to the gambling machines and she was offended by my request, because I put her on the spot to ask other patrons to move, in order to let me spend my money for the Golden Entertainment! Now, it might be another company, but the fact that I want to use the slots, and she refused to give my gd the money back, $160 that she wanted to cash out after she feed $200 in, that is beneath any gambling business practice in NV. I had a weird guy,at the next machines, that I asked to activate my frozen screen, and start pushing al kind of buttons to make it work, and then, he said I must play the hand HE pushed, in my behalf, whe I asked him to stop, and cash out.! This employees are clueless and arrogant, and are not representative of our community! They believe that bullying customers is going to bring them more revenue ... Well, I wonder about that... the place next door, and across the street changed hands twice in the last years.... just saying. I know at one point the owner was extremely involved and present on the premises on a regular basis, and his input was noticed, when he connected with us, organizing the performances and keeping the place in good shape. Nowadays I have to beg to gamble! And if I ask I'm labeled by the staff as a " demanding" or "difficult" customer... What's the point for Golden Entertainment to have this location on their route? Or Jr's? If my money or my girlfriend's money is withheld by an employee at their own will? Could this be this considered fraud or racketeering? I'm not sure , but I'll definitely seek expert advice in this matter, just to understand the dynamics of the industry. Please be careful, if you are using this venue, that used to be great and a neighborhood staple, with the new servers at the bar, that might not bring justice to the ownership of the business.

This place is the perfect spot for a quick and cheap drink in a place with a chill vibe. Happy hour prices are insane. They do not however serve food at all unfortunately. The service was friendly and quick.

First time hanging out at Gold Mine and it was a lot of fun! The bartenders were super sweet and fun to talk to. They were about to have a bar crawl for Halloween and it started to get so busy, but that didn't stop them from always being available for drinks. They had the Knights game on and a full bar to watch it. The drinks were good and machines were definitely playing. Can't wait to go back.

The woman working the bar today around 2pm was the absolute worst. Would not recommend coming here during the day. She is distasteful.

I went to the Gold Mine to meet some friends, hadn't been there in years. The band was actually amazing! Then I saw they sold jello shots!! Score!! It was really busy but never had to wait more than 10 mins at the bar for a drink. All and all I would say it was a great time

If you're in the Downtown Henderson "Hendertucky" area, THIS is the place to be! They have the COLDEST beer in town (literally they freeze!) and the cheapest drinks! Not to mention their bartenders are very knowledgeable and personable! This is the place to come if you want to feel like a part of a family! 5 stars, all around!

Came for a memorial weekend show and had the pleasure of being served by Hailey, behind the bar. She was really great, grabbed my orders quickly. When she was between orders she'd acknowledge me and let me know she's got me next. I love that kind of service. We've all sat at a bar waiting to be seen. They have Strong drinks, great service, and a nice atmosphere inside and out. I hate bars that are lit up like a Walmart, I enjoy the lower lighting vibes. I'll definitely have to come back soon.

We had the best time here! Our bartender was a doll! It was busy for vgk and Thursday night football but we had a blast. Lots of TVs! Can see the games from anywhere you sit. Ridiculously priced specials can't wait to come back was totally worth the Uber from the strip!

Kori is the coolest most welcoming bartender, does her job really well and if you catch her on corny joke day you'll laugh your butt off.

This bar has come a long way from years ago when it was a lot of bikers. It has the feel of a watering hole, but has been updated and draws everyone, and everyone is welcomed as they come through the door. We are VERY impressed with the staff. The manager, Kori, is on her game. She has a way of being a cool manager and bar tender, and yet will not put up with any situations that may compromise the atmosphere of the patrons. She is there for us, and keeps things in order in a great way. We have nothing but professional respect for her approach, and what she has achieved with the staff. Juke box, pool tables, cold beer, laid back watering hole with NEW JELLO SHOT FLAVORS EVERY FEW DAYS!!! Try the pudding shots. Two thumbs up for a great bar on water street. Thank you Gold Mine, thank you Kori, and thanx to the owner who continues to maintain one of our favorite places in henderson to toss back a few.

I never ever liked this place......until I met Kori the bar manager. She turned the Gold Mine around. Now it's my go to. The Gold Mine is one of the last standing true neighborhood watering holes and is not for the weak and feeble minded. Oh and Louisiana Lightning Chelsea is pretty darn awesome too. Peace and love

Dive bar for sure. The bartender was fast, draft beer was good. It was a slow night so we sat at the bar...they then put the "reserved for gaming only" on the machine, gave a vibe like we should move. Very Smokey environment. If smokers, tramp stamps, and bikers are your vibe you'll probably enjoy it.

I love Water Street and it's fun to check out the renaissance over the past couple of years. This spot is a gem - drinks so cheap it seems illegal! My only gripe is the juice as mixers situation. Both the grapefruit and the OJ were inedible. Both tasted like chemicals and glycerin. Stick to the beer and shots and you will have a great time. Loved the big tables - this is the perfect spot to pre-game before a show or post game after a hockey game. Everyone was friendly and the juke box was a nice touch. Don't understand why they don't sell pretzels or chips. Missed revenue but I will be back for 6.00 Teramana Blanco!

Daily specials are good deals for a locals, as a dive bar it's perfect. Service was lacking, bartender was more into talking to coworker siting at bar top. Food truck was a nice touch but very pricey options for a dive bar setting. As lacking in customer service as our bartender was she did however manager to run my credit card twice for one authorized purchase. Not impressed on a first impression.

Dive bars are known for a gritty ambience but this place needs some tlc. If they brought in better musicians that aren't dad band, cover bands that would be a huge step up. The food trucks are hit of miss and the service has gone extremely down hill since they let the majority of the tentative and sociable bartenders go.

Way too loud and smokey. But the worst is the bartender lost/stole my card. Didn't bother looking for it or doing anything. Just stared at me and said "it's gone" and that was it.

Food trucks are great! Service..... they kick people out for no reason! They want to be more then A dive bar and that will never happen! The bathrooms are filthy! the owner is all about money and doesn't care at all about the people that is making her money! She fires people for stupid reasons. She bought the bar knowing it was a kick ass dive bar but wants to be more like the other newer bars on water street!! If I were her I would leave the bar and sell it to someone who will respect the people that have been going there for years and not listen to other peoples drama! She sucks and so does her GM!

Gold mine is exactly what it says. A gold mine. They are open 24 hours and the service is amazing. To the 1 star reviews. They just couldn't handle their liquor. Staff is amazing amd very respectful. If you're an actual local this is the place for you. Come join Gold Mine for a true local Henderson experience and if you can't handle your liquor and get sick. Get out of town .

Came her friday night to celebrate our friend, Mary's, birthday. Matt and Brandon were the bartenders that took care of us. Wonderful, friendly service. I wish they had this bar on our side of town (North Las Vegas by VA hospital) because we could really use a bar like this. If we are in the neighborhood, we would come in and visit again. They had live music on the patio also which was a nice surprise.

first time here and we couldn't even get a drink because the bartender didn't want to serve us and I really don't know why. The bartender from today refused to serve my husband. He waited for more than 10 minutes and she wouldn't serve him a drink.

All the bartenders are great, I do not like the new owners they're terrible, there's no food besides a food truck and the place reeks and smells terrible. They also got rid of the Zoltar. HW8, street burger, and Juan's are way better than this nasty place.

Domestic bottles are only $2 or $3 everyday! Amazing prices and very creative drink specials like Jell-O shots or pudding shots! Always showing sports! I love this bar!

**Update** Samantha has researched the issue and I feel my concerns have been properly addressed in a timely manner. I will give them another chance and hope things go more smoothly this time around. Bartenders have overcharged and under-compensated on a regular basis, even after following their comp policy. On one occasion, a bartender asked to hold a credit card while gambling then charged $10 without my authorization. They never even told me what the amount was for, when it definitely should have been comped and just blamed "management guidelines." Most recently, the bartender Stacy charged $6 for one beer that should have been $2 during Happy hour and explained if they were slower she could have comped more. I only ordered 2 rounds, so what sense does that make after gambling over $80! I have never dealt with such unbelievable and ridiculous situations in my 17+ years gambling in Vegas. They will take every dollar they can and also don't acknowledge happy hour rates when gambling, apparently.

A great place to listen to some local bands. Drinks are priced fairly! Let your hair down and dance!!

On a Tuesday, I went in to check out what appeared to be an open mic. Walked over to the bar to look at the beer selection. About half the taps appeared to be out, so I asked what they had in a bottle as I didn't see a display. I was forcefully everything. Now I get it if you are busy and don't have time to talk about your beer selection, but I was the only person trying to order and only maybe 4 other people inside. After being asked, like it was the Spanish inquisition, if I was looking for domestic or import, I asked what IPAs they had. Again, like I had somehow insulted the bar tender, I was aggressively told, "No IPAs in a bottle!" After I was literally told a second earlier, they had everything, lol. At that point, I left. I know this is a dive bar, but WTF, man? These were basic questions to get asked at a bar, especially if there were fewer people than fingers on my hand inside. Sucks, I try to support local live music when I can. Maybe just don't go on Tuesdays, I don't know. May be the bar tender was stressed because she ended up with a bunch of kegs to change?

A fine place to grab a beer or cocktail. Friendly atmosphere and the pricing is very refreshing in this world of insane price gouging. They also have live music on certain nights.

I love this bar!! I think Toby Keith write that song about this place!! The bartenders are so friendly and attentive! The drinks are tasty and priced right! The beer is super cold and the machines are hot! The jukebox is always playing and the restrooms are spotless! Live music every weekend! Did I mention that the bartenders are the BEST! This place has the worst service on water street. They don't care about any of their customers and the bar staff is the worst ever. This place should close and be bought out by a real company

READ BEFORE HEADING IN! We went to the bar to buy some shots. The little guy who is probably the bar owner shows he has a little one in his pants and likes to yell at paying customers. I never been in a local bar where they kick you out for buying drinks at a machine if you didn't play. He literally said "We make our money from the games". This is sad considering Vegas has slot machines we can actually play at the casino and get free drinks. Try to help out a small business and get shitty attitudes. IF YOU OWN A LOCAL BAR MAKE EVERYONE FEEL WELCOMED! I WILL NEVER IN MY LIFE STEP FOOT IN THIS BAR AGAIN. You sell tacos and platters for $12 when the food truck outside has them for $1 a piece. The pictures on here lie the inside is outdated and doesn't look like this. No music was playing either so it was awkward. I hope you were happy kicking paying customers out who just wanted to have a good time! LIVED IN VEGAS MY ENTIRE LIFE AND NEVER HAD A SMALL LOCAL BAR DO THIS. I'll stick to the PTs and Sierra Golds. This is why they are taking over and replacing these bars. Be kind that's all you had to do. It's a Saturday there is nothing else to do but drink and relax after a long week. I don't even want an apology from this establishment since you embarrassed me and I'm not even the one you kicked out. Only reason we went over to the bar was to kill time waiting for our reservation. Flaming fajitas across the way was amazing and they have a bar and cozy environment so next time I'll just act like this bar didn't exist! HOPE YOU ALL READ THIS AND TAKE IT IN! Went for the super bowl party and it was awesome!! The bartender was great they had the game on there was an amazing food truck outside with the best tacos in town!!! I'd definitely come check out gold mine tavern

Ok... honestly I would have given this place 3 stars but I read some the other reviews and my experience was so different that I just felt the need to bump it up another star. We sat at the bar and had a couple of drinks. The service was sharp and the drinks were nice and strong. We actually had 2 bartenders coming by and asking us if we needed anything. We took our drinks to the outdoor area where a band was playing. I really liked the outside and think I would come to frequent it more often. I checked in on Yelp and got the free sunglasses. She actually gave us sunglasses and the cutest little shot glasses. She gave us both a set which I thought was nice because only I checked in. Overall, I had great, friendly service. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the drinks (which were reasonably priced as well). Can't really complain.
