Very cool as seen in pictures ;) They have good happy hour deals, they have draft beer for $8 and over, on party days (thursday through sunday from 22:00 till late) they always have low cost shots or promos.

Google
The life-size games were freaking awesome and the vending machine filled with mysteries was sick! We all order a variety of drinks and shots. The Dirty Peach, PJ and Strawberry cheesecake shots tasted amazing! The “Something strong”drink wasn’t that strong but still tasted amazing! Playing life size beer pong was so much fun but also so hard. Definitely worth the prices to have this much fun. Going late at night is the move cause no one is there.

Strings and Stilletoes

Google
To be fair I don't really eat the food there. Or any bar food. The service is always pretty good and the atmosphere is literally second to none. I really enjoy going roller skating on the roller skate night during the month. They always play good music '90s hip hop. And they have oversized games like if you are at recess in 5th grade. It's a great time

My husband and I needed a hotel last minute. The price was pretty cheap comparatively. The expectations were not high. There was an event and we were even more frustrated thinking it was going to complicate things . Everything went very very smooth. The customer service between front desk and the security was out of this world. They were so kind, helpful and made us feel so special every step of the way. The room was alright , nothing exceeding expectations but the staff could not have made us feel any better . We were very satisfied and our needs were met exceptionally.

Google
Very cool! "Only in Vegas" vibes LOL Beautiful outdoor seating area and a "carnival/circus" theme inside. It's downtown and totally worth a visit! A great place to just chill and/or meet new friends. Vegas locals = industry night is on Mondays!

Google
I know it’s probably very late for this, but it has to be mentioned. While I’m open minded enough to acknowledge it can be enjoyable here when there are things going on and that I was fascinated and enjoyed the place. They abuse the hotel guests from next store. One week back in December, I was booking a room with the hotel next door and apparently they have a co-op of some sort with this gold spike place. They have make shift rooms above this bar where you take an elevator up and everything is pop rock/culture themed. I was feeling okay about things, despite wondering why I was not staying at the parent hotel and was planning on staying two nights. Well it ended up being one! One evening I was simply minding my own business underneath a heater watching live YouTube sports, when the unexpected happened. I looked over my shoulder and saw a rogue security guard spinning his wheels right towards me and got all up into my business and even space interrogating me. I was being told I had to go and the place was not open to homeless. No questions asked if I was staying there or if I had a key etc. I was in so much discomfort and deeply irritated. It felt reserved in a specific way where the goal was to target me. I told them somehow that I did have all that. Like didn’t even bother to ask receptionist at the hotel. Like how did I end up in this place as I didn’t even choose all this to happen. To my mistake at least to a degree I ended up showing them how I really felt. From this point on it didn’t make sense to me how these rooms could exist above this bar. It seemed very loose and lawless. Like if you don’t want the hotels clients to stay there why wouldn’t you tell them? I was deeply annoyed by this, as well as a couple other things that have happened to me and gave me a really bad taste to Vegas as I was attempting to move down there from North Dakota, where I eventually ended up, deciding to move back towards the Midwest. This isn’t the first time it was assumed that I was homeless, with last time that I was just going through on a trip. A gale randomly approached me, assuming I was homeless when I was there on a trip. I think I have a taste at least in my own corner w/ Nevada and Vegas.

Thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Gold Spike. We didn't expect much as it was a weekday and Wednesday evening. It was nice to have the space for my group and the food was delicious. The chef was an expert and really courteous. I'm excited to come back here when I am back in Vegas. Thank you for a great evening!

Google
We celebrated my husband's retirement at Gold Spike and everyone had an amazing time! The manager Will went above and beyond to make sure that all of our needs were met :). The bartender Lexi always had a smile on her face and was happy to serve us, our friends and family! The security at the door was friendly and we all felt welcome! I highly recommend this place for your next happy hour, event or just to have a good old time! By the way, their happy hour has great drink prices! Enjoy!

Yelp
I had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Gold Spike! This place is a total vibe. The Oasis pool area is an incredible escape from the hustle and bustle of the Strip. It's the perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun. The bar and game area are top-notch. I spent hours enjoying delicious drinks and challenging my friends to friendly competitions. It's the perfect place to unwind after a long day of exploring. A special shoutout to Krechendo at the front desk. She was incredibly helpful and friendly, making our check-in and check out a breeze. Her positive attitude set the tone for an amazing stay. If you're looking for a fun, laid-back experience in the heart of Las Vegas, look no further than the Gold Spike. It's a hidden gem that won't disappoint!

Yelp
This place takes a picture upon entry of your face -- without approval, saves it and sends it to a third party. This is a serious violation of personal privacy. If you read the third parties legal FAQ on whether it's legal or literally says "We believe that it is fully compliant", which is not promising. Furthermore, their FAQ for how they protect your data is basically empty and vague. They are capturing biometric data without any confirmation of the legality nor the security of your information. This is all done without your consent. Even the TSA allows you to bypass the photo capture. Somehow, this small bar found a more legal and secure way to capture your biometrics than the TSA. EDIT to the owners comment below: Appreciate you acknowledging that you take pictures upon entry and send it to a questionable third party. However, I did not consent, and verbally did not consent but your team took a picture anyway and refused to delete. I'm sure you have video. So do I. I never entered your establishment, but you took my picture anyway. We did take our business elsewhere -- to every other bar in the city that does not violate personal privacy.

Yelp
Vibes!!!! Now this has been my spot for the last 10 years lol. I took a hiatus from downtown for some time now and I just knew this would be the first stop to hit for my birthday weekend. This place did not disappoint. I loved how they are already preparing for Halloween right now. This is a great pre game spot, but also as the night continues can be the afters spot! Bartenders are quick and security team are friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be back soon.

Yelp
Came here last night (12 September 2024), around 8:45 PM. They had a rude black bouncer at the door who yelled "STEP BACK!" when I stepped up on the first step after giving him my ID. Dude acted like I was a security threat. They also use face scanning technology which is inappropriate. Inside sucked, hardly anyone there, mostly middle aged moms. Drinks are expensive as hell. Will gladly take my business elsewhere in the future and will encourage my friends to do the same.

Yelp
An awesome place I go to every Las Vegas visit. If you're not feeling like clubbing and just want to go out with friends and have a chill time drinking, playing games & meeting new people, this is the place!
google avatar

Glenn B.

Yelp
This is an adult playground! All the games of your childhood playground supersized and brought to life. Happy hour is 4am-7am and 4pm-7pm. If you're a guest of the hotel you get all day happy hour from 6am-6pm. The ambiance is relaxed and you're sure to make a friend or two at the 24/7 bar at gold spike. Plus, their pool is open from 6am-10pm. So get your styrofoam cooler across the street at the 7/11 and sit in a built in lounger in the pool. They also have a kitchen from Thursday 8pm-late til Sunday night 8pm-late. So if you're looking for food to satisfy your late night cravings, this is the place to be.

Yelp
Spacious lounge/game room. My friend and I met our husbands here after spending the morning shopping at the Fashion Show mall. They have a couple of pool tables and also an 8-person foosball table which was awesome to play with another 4-person group of vacationers we met. FYI- you're not allowed to bring outside drinks inside so make sure to drink it before you get here or get ready to dump it out (-1 star).

Yelp
Shonn and the gold spike staff are A+++ The hotel is fun and full of energy. Awesome courtyard and pool at the oasis. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Bitty and Mike H have had the best service Mike checked me ID made sure I was safe with everyone that walked in. Come to the place where bitty and Mike take care of you ...... let's go love yall

Danielle S.

Yelp
Place used to have a line wrapped around the corner. As of now there is no line and you have creeps everywhere inside. Security guards stand outside the women's restroom watching to make sure one person uses a stall at a time. When I asked about why they do that they said "we do this to make sure no one is using or selling contraband." Are you kidding me! Haha, insane. If that's the case, then why search everyone walking in?! Catch it at the door Instead of being a creep in the women's restroom. I'm sorry but not every person is doing drugs in your restrooms. Women are simply peeing together as we always do. Point blank.

Yelp
The service at Gold Spike is excellent. Lexi is a great bartender not only with the quality of drinks, but with the quality of atmosphere and conversation. I am a Las Vegas local and I've lived here for five years. I just recently found this hotel, casino, bar and I'm happy I did. I will definitely be coming back and getting more drinks from this awesome bartender thanks Gold Spike.

Yelp
4.5 Came here in the middle of the day so it was fairly empty but still had a good time regardless since it wasn't crowded. They have a lot to do inside and outside including a full bar and arcade games. On the outside, they have some free giant games to play like cornhole, bucket pong, and a huge chess set. I felt like the drinks were really cheap too (I'm from California...) so it was really easy to grab one and play or bet each other with drinking games. Overall it's a little run down and old, but still a good time!
google avatar

Jessica E.

Yelp
Fun 21+ atmosphere with a built in night club! Pool was not too small and not too big but just right! Maybe wish it was slightly heated but hit my needs to cool down! Loved the varied of games especially skee-ball! Had an incorrect issue and they tried to evict us, even though they gave us keys but they made it right and honored a late check-out so we could enjoy the pool and ease of the morning.
google avatar

Erian R.

Yelp
I had an awesome time at this place! The atmosphere is simply amazing and it's impossible not to feel good vibes all around. Plus, the outdoor area is to die for! There are so many cool activities to do, or you can just relax with your friends and have a nice chat while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. And let me tell you, the drinks were reasonably priced and tasted fantastic! The bartenders were super friendly and made the experience even more enjoyable. This place is definitely a must-go if you want to have a great time and unwind. Don't miss out!
google avatar

Yelp
This place is a must visit if you're ever in the downtown Fremont area, specifically the East Fremont area. I've been to Fremont so many times over the years but can't believe I've never been here. I always assumed it was just another downtown historic casino... it is not at all. Ideal for a good part time, this place is perfect for groups. Like a Vegas version of Dave & Busters, this place is housed with multiple bars, midway style games, and two dance floors. Looks like at one point in history, the building has once held a casino and to this day, I believe there are still hotel rooms! But realistically, if you've got a guest room, there's probably not a lot of sleeping going on here. Will definitely have to come back and snap some photos for the review.

Yelp
Incredible drink deals during the Knights games and actually really good selection!!! Tito's was $4 a shot diring the game, still only 8-9 after, but, if you're in the area looking for another drink and the game is on, definitely a good spot. Tons of games and activities for large groups and couples. Great spot, I through so dart for about an hour. Service was fast and prompt.

Vincent P.

Yelp
This is my spot to go to relax after work after hours since they are 24hours. Bitty is our go to girl. Service is always the best of the best. She knows how to keep you coming back. She makes me a drink a I call the bitty special. Idk what's in it but it's worth it. If your looking for a good vibe after work this is the place

Yelp
Bitty and Isaac are the best love it here favorite bar in Fremont Come see them and make sure to tip good

Yelp
Isaac is the greatest bartender alive He was full of jokes and it was the greatest birthday none to man!!!!!!

Yelp
This bar is around the corner from Fremont, and it is attached to a hotel. As soon as you walk in it's dark lighting with a lot of like glow in the dark writing etc. There is a wrap around bar, a few arcade games, a huge space with a big cornhole game, two pool tables, and a few couches and lounge spaces. The backyard was really big. There was a lounge area with a big golden snake statue, across from that was an area with a lot of like game tables, there was a little fake grassy area for a big cornhole game and a little one. Towards the back was a gigantic beer pong game with trash cans and mini basketballs, shuffleboard on the ground, big Jenga, a snack shack, a few picnic tables, etc. in order to play the games inside you gotta ask the bartender for the items to play pool. This place hosts a lot of events throughout the months which is cool, and I think every night they have specials. I ordered the Kir Royale x3 and a banana whiskey shot which was super smooth. The bar is 24 hours we were there until about 4/5am 8.5/10 Great late night spot, and perfect for dates. Definitely will remember for next visit
google avatar

Shay B.

Yelp
Been coming for years, love this place! I remember when they used to do skate night a few years back, not sure if they still do it, but such a great atmosphere to go and hang out
google avatar

Denielle L.

Yelp
This place comes through every time! Ladies free and guys pay a low cover charge. There is a dress code and they do enforce it. Two dance floors, activities to do, reasonably priced drinks, food and even fun events some nights. Don't even bother going anywhere else!
google avatar

Karla R.

Yelp
The bigass games here are bigger than my hopes and dreams. Always a good time at Gold Spike and I had some friends in town who were visiting for their first time in Las Vegas. I thought -- what better way to give them a great, first visit than to take them here? It did not disappoint! We went on a Saturday afternoon, so it was before it got busy with the hustle and bustle of the nightlife. My friends and I all got drinks at the bar then went outside for the adult playground. It was so fun seeing my friends run around and check out the bigass lawn games like if they were kids on recess. We played shuffleboard, corn hole, chess, raced on the hopscotches and played that one triangle game they have at Cracker Barrel. It was a ton of fun! Drink-wise, there's a fair selection of beers, a couple of ciders and cocktail's aplenty here. It's pretty easy to find a libation of your liking at this spot. Definitely a go-to bar near Fremont Street
google avatar

Amanda R.

Yelp
I won't be going back to this venue, they'll put extra charges on your card. Fraudulent It's also really dirty, most likely the reason they keep it so dark.
google avatar

Heidi A.

Yelp
A friend recommended this place for fun on Fremont. Didnt know what to expect and so happy we went! indoor and outdoor areas, music, pool, games and lots of space . go with your pals early and own the place!
google avatar

Jinn R.

Yelp
This place has always been a go-to for me as a local. Affordable food and drinks, cool staff. Props to Lionel and Kevin for running those drinks!!! Must visit if you come to Fremont
google avatar

Julia A.

Yelp
Pretty horrible customer service. Like - rude service. That said, this is a cool spot. We are in Vegas, so I'll take service with a grain of salt. We went when it was empty in the middle of the day to watch the AFC championship game. Plenty of comfy couches, decently priced drinks, and fun games. They don't charge you to play the games either, which I think is amazing! Overall would come back.
google avatar

Edith M.

Yelp
Isaac is an amazing bartender, drinks were good. The backyard ambiance is pretty chill, the dj plays good music. Cool place to come with a group of friends.

Anthony P.

Yelp
Do not go to the venue. They take photos of you without your permission. There is no signage or warning that they are taking your photo. In order to enter. Doesn't matter what the website says.as the singage out front of the location doesn't indicate that photos will be taken with or without your discretion. See the attached video for proof of violation of Privacy rights.

Yelp
Isaac was an AMAZING bartender! handsome too ;) And David was an extraordinary help when I had no idea where everything was. (First time going)
google avatar

Alex T.

Yelp
Security is super aggressive and kept telling me "no cotton shorts" inside. They seemed like they were on something. I pleaded that everything is made out of cotton but when they stopped listening I left. Just confused.
google avatar

Alexandria P.

Yelp
This place is pretty legit. Came here at 11pm and was shocked it was pretty dead on a Friday night when I walked inside only to realize the real party is in the back. They have a dance floor, arcade games and a huge light bright inside and outside was another dance floor, Corn hole and beer pong. The food here was basic. I don't recommend. Definitely come here and check this place out! You won't regret it
google avatar

Chelsea H.

Yelp
Happened to come here while there was no wait on a Friday night. This bar is connected to a hotel. Off the Fremont Experience just a block or so- but worth the walk. Live music - great beats and lines for drinks are quick. Awesome yard games- and indoor games. Ages vary +21 everyone who wants to play those games you played as a kid.... This is the spot for you. From the giant Jenga to 4-square..... yessss giant beer pong!!!!!! So many fun games.
google avatar

Cyndi C.

Yelp
Really cute bar with lots of kitsch! Fun looking large games, light bright, connect four, pong and more with a dance floor. Indoor outdoor seating at tables or belly up to the bar. There's a cute silver streamline trailer outdoors and awesome murals on the patio! Looks like they have bands play there as well as djs. My gripe was the invasive security check, it was a slow nite, we just arrived to town for our first drink after parking in a garage across the street (convenient) and we were going to grab beers here. We were surprised at the overbearing search, photo taking, scanning of license for a near empty bar on a Monday. This was my first stop in Vegas after many years so I was thinking is this what's going to happen every where we go here, nope just here?! Maybe they had a bad customer before but wow, really is a vibe kill, perhaps judge by the day, so strange to be so invasive just to grab a beer with friends, we too old to hang here but served the purpose to sit and chill in cool settings till we could head to tiki bar.
google avatar

Devianna C.

Yelp
A hidden gem located in Fremont street. Goldspike has all the fun adults wanting to hang out and vibe need. With a variety of jumbo games it's the perfect kick it spot. They also have a huge outside patio with bars, a dj, seating, and more games outside. The staff is nice and the place is pretty clean even the bathrooms. I didn't get a chance to try the food but the drinks were good, they even have a slushy option in the outside bar.
google avatar

Shani H.

Yelp
Came here because my cousin works here. We were celebrating his birthday and this was one of the spots he wanted to chill at. We came on Saturday and Sunday and both nights were great. Saturday was more of a hip hop night. There was a big crowd but since theres an inside and outside patio, everything felt spacious. The drinks were really well made so I left feeling comfortable but not bad like you feel when you drink cheap liquor. Sunday night was latin night and they had El Neefa performing. I hadnt heard of him before but i'll definitely be on the lookout for his music moving forward. His music was really great and his performance super lively. I could see myself visiting this spot whenever i'm in vegas. Its chill and theres plenty of security so I felt safe.

Dejuan W.

Yelp
This place is AMAZING! They have all of these cool games like life-size beer pong and Cornhole and the outside spot is open and super inviting. Biddy was our bartender, and she was personable and really accommodating. I had a blast with her! The happy hour is INSANE. So cheap and my friends and I got our money's worth for sure.
google avatar

Yelp
Cool hangout spot!! Best service and good recommendations! Would definitely recommend!

Yelp
Isaac and lionel was the best super nice and always take care , 5 stars all the way (:
google avatar

Max D.

Yelp
The security guards did a full body pat down of me which felt awkward. Bar has many outlets to charge your phone while getting a drink. Not a fan of the bartenders though, they were rude to me when I asked them for water and didn't even look at me when I asked... advice to management... have your bartenders trained in better customer service and hospitality.
google avatar

Brian T.

Yelp
This is the worse customer service i ever encounter. Came in with my friend, told the bartender Ashley that i need to use the restroom first then i will come back to show her my ID's. I am over 40 yrs old. Doesn't think that i would show my ID every single time. I came back to the bar and she told us that she won't serve us because we didn't show her our ID's. I explained" we have to use the restroom real quick here is my ID. Still she declined service to us. I requested to speak to the manager. Lionel came and said we were splurging our speech. Which we haven't had anything to drink yet. He defense his co-worker because they both messing with each other. This is very unprofessional and rude service. Upper management need to understand this concept. Good services mean more customers. More customers mean more money.
google avatar

Michael M.

Yelp
It's just not what it used to be. Arrived around 2am, and back in the day it used to be PACKED around this time on a Saturday night. I get they trying to make money but it's not necessary to be charging a cover so late for it to be so dead and boring inside. Nothing more disappointing than paying a cover to be disappointed once inside.
google avatar

Jenny J.

Yelp
Bitty is the best with best titties will definitely be back!!! Good music, great vibes! Go see bitty!
google avatar

Jen C.

Yelp
This is such a fun place in concept and maybe it is perhaps that I am too old to fully appreciate it fully. I do like that it provides something for everyone in terms of music, dance floor, games, hookah and drinks. This could be a crowd pleaser for a big group of varied tastes for sure. Inside they have a secret kitchen that makes tasty burger, fries and tots (loaded or not) and the chef making them is incredibly sweet and friendly when he delivers them to you despite being the only one in the kitchen. They need an update on their online menu though as some things exist on the kiosk but not online. As for the drinks, service was fine and beer pours were good without too much head but $8 for a beer is a bit steep. From what I heard from my friends with me, the cocktails are strong, which is great for their prices. It was a bit chilly outside and we were by a heater that was malfunctioning. It took a few tries to get someone to replace the propane in it to get us warm again. I love the outdoor games idea and the idea that they put turf on the seats to keep your butt from getting cold. They may not be the reason but genius! Music can be heard both inside and out from the DJ playing inside, which is awesome. My one concern is upon leaving there does not seem to be a safe way to get through without cutting directly through the dance floor. I will probably go back when it's warmer to explore the games aspect of this place. I also think it would be a great place for a first date.

Yelp
Tyler, Issac, and Lionel are the best and make my friends and I feel so welcomed. Best deals in Vegas! Best Happy hour! 10/10 outdoor space! We love coming for happy hour !

Yelp
I bought tickets here for the Super Bowl watch party 2024 and I felt like it was falsely advertised. Website says big projection screens and surround sound. The surround sound was ear pitching, didn't sound too good. Projection screens were medium sized and picture quality wasn't as vivid. I bought 4 living room high top chairs package and we were seated all the way in the back, had I known, we were going to be seated there and the how the set up was going to be, I would have not bought tickets here. The people in front of us were also disappointed on where they were seated when they were mistakenly given the sofa package and then got relocated in the high top chairs. I feel like their setup could have been better especially for those who bought the high top chairs package. Viewing from the back wasn't a great quality and the speaker was so loud. We had asked them if they could adjust the speaker volume, but they might have forgot. It was open bar from 1:30-5:30pm which was nice, premium quality drinks. It would have been nice if they had a drink menu like Super Bowl themed drinks and cocktails to order. Food was buffet style, unlimited and I felt like the selection was alright. Overall, the experience could have been better. The staff was great though and they kept the place clean. Trash was always getting emptied and not overflowing. Food area was always replenished. Drinks were made in a timely matter and the line to get drinks were short. Raffle prizes were cool. Dj/host had a really good energy.

Yelp
William was our bartender, he was great! We ended up playing corn hole, Zappos, and tried Jenga but a few pieces were missing... we were trying to take a few pictures and got in trouble with the manager apparently because we asked permission to go on one of the I guess it's a stage area but there's absolutely no one else here except for one other person so I didn't see the issue considering we asked permission from security. Anyway, the manager is a jerk and I doubt we'll come back now...what a shame because will was pretty cool. This review was pre drafted in my notes alot better than the turn out....sad. The security that the manager sent was Michael. Customer Service is very important especially in bar situation or club situation's so i'm writing this place a two star but it has pretty good three or four star Photoshoot pieces . And the one drink we had was pretty good. Update: The manager did reach out and apologized for the experience we had, which I appreciate so here is my update. 3 stars for follow up.

Yelp
The drinks were poured pretty heavy so they're fairly worth it. Lots of games to play and good atmosphere if it's busy but ladies be careful! Women's bathroom door is kept propped open and multiple male workers stand outside the door. They stopped my friend and I while we were in there, and it made us uncomfortable. When we confronted them about it, and said that it made us uncomfortable that there were multiple adult males outside the women's bathroom watching us, they told us we could leave if we were going to have an "attitude." We did leave immediately after because we felt uncomfortable, so just a heads up if you're a girl and wanna come and use the bathroom! :)

Yelp
It's a well known gem of the locals. Staring into enter the club sense?Having unexpected company and wish to provide entertainment well, Gold Spike could once again be your guilty pleasures. Enjoy the many games and fellow piers at this downtown hole in the wall.
