"Goldbergs’ Famous Delicatessen in Bellevue closed earlier this month after nearly 14 years. The closure was due to an unexpected increase in rent, parking issues, and other problems. However, the owner Ben Cukier has left open the possibility of reopening elsewhere, especially since most of the furnishings and equipment are stored. The deli was beloved for its Reuben sandwiches, half-sour pickles, tuna melts, knish, lox, matzo ball soup, and other East Coast-style favorites." - Megan Hill

Fast service, excellent food, and fair prices for deli food. Matzha ball soup was perfect, pastrami on rye and Reuben great, and the special falafel on a hamburger bun was out of this world! Best deli restaurant anywhere in the Seattle/Eastside.

It's good, but not great. I'm from Chicago originally and I've yet to get a great pastrami sandwich. I have the combination special with a bowl of matzoh ball soup and half a pastrami sandwich. Pretty good and reasonably priced; but it's not equal to "Manny's Deli" or "The Bagel" in Chicago. Update: 6\21\2017 chicken & noodle soup very tasty, specially with a half (Very generous) corn beef on rye. 07/03/2017 chicken chili spicy, tasty, Filling and satisfying

Got a avocado burger, added mushrooms. The avocado was a half cut?? Why?? Then the mushrooms were half on the burger and half on the plate.. that doesn’t even mention the fact that it was so bland, seasoning, no condiments and an annoying old man being extremely loud. I can say though the shake was good. Also the menu is very confusing and doesn’t give translation to menu items that are ethnic Jewish which is sad because you aren’t sure what it is you may be trying to get and so many of the items are like that you wouldn’t go through them all with the waitress. So instead of getting to try something new, you’ll end up reverting to something you know..

I've been here maybe a total of 2 dozen times over many years with large family groups or just a date stop with my wife and have never done a review. For a Jewish Deli this is right up there. Having done old school "authentic" places in NY, NY and other locals, the only thing that sets this place apart is it expanive size and less than frantic atmosphere. Buried in the center of Factoria Square (I think that's still the name) you almost have to know this place is here to find it. The sandwich's as you might expect are larger than life and the breakfast portions are great. Stop by with your family or alone and sit at the bar. You will not be disappointed. You can enter from tgee parking lot or through the mall.

Ordered a well-done burger for lunch on two occasions over the past few weeks; the first time, the fries were great and the burger was medium rare. On the second occasion, the burger was raw and the fries weren't properly cooked either. Definitely a hit and miss spot; great when they do it right, otherwise, lunch rushes seem to be too overwhelming for them. Called to let them know that the burger wasn't cooked and the manager denied that this could be possible.

The boyfriend brought me here for lunch (4/15) after our impromptu movie date. I had a cup of Matzo Ball Soup followed by The Westside Story (Warm Corned Beef, Pastrami, Swiss & Coleslaw on Rye) with potato salad as the side and omg, it was delicious! Normally I take pictures of my food before I eat it all, but today, I hit it hard before I realized that I hadn't done that...So here, this is what half of the West Side Sandwhich looks like...lol. I highly recommend it if you're not sure what to get. Thanks Goldberg's! Best xeli sandwhich I've had the pleasure of eating! We'll be back again. <3

Best real deli in town. Lots of home made old style dish’s. In my opinion the corned beef is trimmed too much. I love the east coast style dripping with fat. Lots of other great dishes to be had. Well worth going to Goldbergs for an authentic Jewish deli experience.

Excellent restaurant and a totally enjoyable experience. Most dishes were with fish and so it's important to like fish and to be willing to try some new and very unique dishes. The presentation of each little dish was beautiful. The restaurant was quiet and intimate. Tables were not on top of each other and the service was very good. I would recommend this restaurant for a special dinner out.
