25 Best Restaurants on the San Francisco Peninsula | Eater SF

"This is the Peninsula outpost of a San Francisco classic that has been around since 1978. The Sicilian-style pizza has a light dough with a shatteringly crisp base. The combo pizza features bursts of freshness via thin slices of zucchini and tomato. This location is pick-up only, however, and doesn’t sell by the slice. Bring your picnic blanket and enjoy a couple of slices at nearby Coyote Point Beach." - Octavio Peña

Google
This pepperoni pizza is incredible! With just the right amount of crunch on the edges. The pepperoni is flavorful and complements the rich cheese and perfectly seasoned sauce. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients, and each slice is a perfect mix of textures and flavors. It’s one of those pizzas that keeps you coming back for more!

Google
Good not great. Got the large combo. Expected more I guess. Crust was not as crispy as I thought it would be. Ingredients on pizza are above average. It's an excellent value.

Google
Went on a friend's recommendation for the clam and garlic pizza. Also got their combination with it. Overall it isn't amazing but it was novel. Pizza was solid, above average for sure though. Nothing about it was bad just isn't a top 5 pizza for me. Pricing is fair as it comes in 4 or 8 pieces so worth a try if local.

Google
What a tasty pizza spot. The crust is what makes this place special. The pizzas are MASSIVE so order smaller sizes if you’re by your self or one other. You can not go wrong with any order here - exceptional direction for growing San Fran Style Pizza

Google
Great food. You can't go wrong with golden boy. The only reason I can't go 5 stars is the original goldenboy in San Francisco northbeach. There's something about the crust made there. Very special. Maybe it's the pans or oven, but definitely distinct from the other two shops. They will just have to borrow some of the seasoned pans. Their service was excellent. I ordered by phone and my pizza was ready on time. Freindly staff. There really is no atmosphere as this is a pick up only location. I praise them for serving the san mateo area. Let my grandma try some of their pizza. She is one tough critic, but she let me know that this pizza was delicious. 100% grandma approved.

Google
Best thick crust pizza hands down. I get three large pies, bring them home, separate the pieces and freeze them. After they're frozen I stack them up with paper in between bag them and keep them in the freezer for whenever I want a piece.. They go in the oven on my steel or stone for 14 minutes at 475 and it's the best thing you've ever had.

Google
Ordered 1/2 sheet pepperoni and 1/2 sheet clam and garlic. No dine in option but pizza is ready in 20 minutes. Friendly service and they brought pizza out to car since it took a couple of minutes longer to cook. On the drive home, you could smell the clam and garlic. The crust on this pizza was excellent, not soggy or doughy. Pepperoni was very good. The clam and garlic was wreaking of garlic. You can taste the clams. I think the garlic was a little strong and had a little too much cilantro. Other than that it was a good pizza. Slices are pretty big and most of my kids ate two slices. I had 3 slices and was stuffed. This pizza is not your ordinary pizza so it's hard to compare to other pizza's. But it surpases most of the pizza I've ever ordered.

Google
I personally think this place the quality is better than the location in San Francisco it’s easy parking I wish you could dine in but overall the take out experience is simple and fast

Yelp
I've been to the SF location and this one is just as great! The only difference is that you can only order small or large pies. I opted for the half (pepperoni/sausage) and half (combo). The pepperoni sausage- you can taste the marinara more. I love how crispy the pepperonis are and the sausage is huge! The cheese has amazing cheese pull and isn't too heavy ratio. The breading was fluffy get crispy on the edges. It was like focaccia bread. The combo was the same but with vegetables (zucchini, tomatoes, mushrooms). I wish the tomatoes and zucchini were diced instead of sliced just bc it would slide off my slice and it holds a lot of juice. Pizzas were prepared fresh so the wait was about 20 mins. There's no parking lot but you can park in front along the curb. Verdict: it was sooo good I had to go on yelp to write the review right away!

Yelp
Amazing Pizza!! They have multiple locations now but they're all basically the same. Quality pizza for a good price. I typically go for pepperoni/sausage or combo. Their pizzas are rectangles and you can get a 9x13 or a 13x18. You can call and order in advance but if not, it'll only take 15-20 minutes to make. This place isn't as crowded as the other ones so it is 100% your choice. Overall, a great place for quality pizza. Would 100% go back for them!

Yelp
I threw a big 200-person birthday bash at the Winter Lodge in Palo Alto earlier this year and knew I wanted to serve a crowd favorite pizza--Golden Boy's from SF. Thankfully, they have a catering and to-go location in San Mateo! I worked with Alex to place a large order of 40 pizzas (cheese, pepperoni, clam, and combo), and he made the whole process super easy. I requested 12 slices instead of the usual 8 to make it more kid-friendly, and they happily accommodated. The delivery was seamless, the driver was incredibly kind, and best of all, the pizza arrived hot and delicious.

Yelp
I'm a fan of the North Beach location. This location is similar as in take out only and no seating. The difference is they only sell small/large pies, no slices. The slices are big and have a good variety of toppings. Think dense focaccia type slice. Large combo was $28.70 with 8 slices and small is 4 slices. The staff were nice. Pro tip: call in your order to not wait about 20 minutes. Street parking only.

Yelp
I've been waiting to try Golden Boy for the looongest time as a lover of garlic and clams! Their pizza tastes like the perfect kind of focaccia bread. Super fluffy, not too greasy. We ordered half of a garlic/clam and pepperoni large pizza. It came with 8 HUUGE slices and I ended up getting full off of one. The garlic/clam tasted super unique and I loved how strong the garlic was! The pepperoni was also good, but I felt like the pepperonis themselves were a little too salty for me. The crust and bread had the perfect texture. We ended up freezing the rest and they reheated perfectly, with the same texture and taste as when we initially had it. I'd recommend calling in your order if you don't want to wait. We came in right around opening time and ended up waiting around 20-25 minutes!
google avatar

Jaymie V.

Yelp
One of the best pizzas out there. Their service is pretty fast if you walk in and order. It was about 15-20 minutes wait. 1 slice is pretty filling and can eat up to 2. I love their style of pizza, it's not too thick and is slightly crispy. Can never go wrong with pepperoni and sausage pizza. I wish they had a sit down inside/nearby. Ended up bringing the pizza to the mall and ate at the food court. We got people excited thinking that they had Golden Boy at the mall lol

Yelp
They did it again! Wonderful pizza; nice and fluffy w/a crunchy crust. We made a pick up order for: -Small - personalized cheese, pizza -Large - half-and-half sausage, pepperoni + pesto, veggie. We've been here twice before. We enjoy the pizza. Can't wait for an excuse to head back and get another slice. Delicious!

Yelp
I saw Golden Boy on TikTok and knew I had to try the clam and garlic pizza, even if it meant waiting 30+ minutes, and it did not disappoint! This location appears to be take-out only, with no tables or chairs inside, aside from a couch for those waiting on their order. The gentleman who helped us was friendly, and our pizza was ready in about 15-20 minutes. We ordered half clam and garlic and half combo. The clam and garlic was the star of the show, with its soft yet crispy crust and the perfect balance of charred garlic and clam in every bite. The combination might sound unusual, but it works so well together. The combo was delicious too, though I wish the toppings had been a bit more evenly distributed.
google avatar

Christina L.

Yelp
Garlic Clam pizza is the BEST. Pepperoni and sausage is our second choice flavor. Call in advance if you don't want to wait. If you don't, it's about a 15 minute wait to get your pizza (pending the orders ahead, ofc). This place isn't as crowded as the one in SF, so I like this location better. Comes in 8 rectangular slices and you can ask for plates/napkins if needed. This is the perfect place to stop by on the way to SFO or anywhere else. Best when it's hot and even better pan fried for an extra crispy bottom when you get home.
google avatar

Lucy L.

Yelp
Delicious square shaped pizza with a nice variety of topping choices on top of soft focaccia type of crust. They have locations in San Francisco (North Beach & Sunset) and I'm grateful for this location in San Mateo. Check out their clam & garlic pizza and their veggie & pesto pizza!
google avatar

Erich L.

Yelp
Good pizza! This is a to go only restaurant so call ahead to get your order. They have kind of a limited menu but everything is good. They make square deep dish pizza.
google avatar

Steve G.

Yelp
Wife saw Golden Boy on TikTok so she's been bugging me to go. We went by the SF location but they had a line down the block. So, one Saturday afternoon we drove over from East Bay to San Mateo to try it. Called ahead and ordered a large combo and a small garlic and clams. This location is take out only so we took it to the park a block away to eat. Hot and fresh its soooo good. The cheese was the bomb and the topping - sausage, pepperoni, tomato and zuchinni were all so fresh. They say the large feeds 3-4 at least. Gonna have lots of leftovers. Wouldn't make a special trip but definitely stop by if in the area.

Yelp
Been here 3 times now and first time was very good, 2nd not consistent & not as good from first. Tonight was the 3rd, and I was super disappointed!! The pizza was terrible. They added onions, which I don't like on pizza, the dough was somehow cooked outside but raw and gummy inside and there's usually a little cornmeal on bottom of crust which adds a nice extra crunch and that was missing. Just an all around bad night to get a pizza apparently. The onions I picked off and decided to just deal with it but when the flight was gummy that's just unacceptable and not appetizing. Hopefully if I go again they do better. I know many love this place but consistency in food is big for me. So far this place is 1 for 3. We ended up not eating the pizza. Such a waste but trying to cook it when these already burnt edges but gummy inside just didn't seem like that would work. Very disappointed at this place and pretty sure I won't go back to waste money on an inconsistent experience.

Yelp
Probably the best pizza in San Mateo , very tasty very fresh made perfect exactly the way that I asked , we will be back for more! Taste exactly like the one in the city!

Yelp
I've heard great things about the San Francisco location and was happy to give the San Mateo take-out location a shot! Note, this is takeout only, as they do not have any seating there. But, I did get to eat it relatively soon in my car haha. I got the pepperoni pizza and was very satisfied. The dough was the star, well seasoned and very soft and fluffy with a little crisp on the edges. I thought the cheese and pepperoni could have been baked a liiiittle longer, but it was still very good. The sauce to cheese ratio was good, and the sauce itself was decent - not amazing and not bad, but fit with the pizza. Overall, it's good pizza if you're in the area looking for more of a Detroit/pan pizza style that's worth checking out.
google avatar

Jameela R.

Yelp
First time trying this SF classic pizza joint and it did not disappoint. Both pizzas were 10/10. Workers were nice and friendly. Take-out spot only. We called ahead and it was ready when we got there. It took about 15 minutes. *We added Mike's Hot Honey when we got home and it paired well with the pizza!*

Alex W.

Yelp
Bready, airy. Not the chewy pizza experience I like. A little light on proteins, and the clam featured little flavor but garlic.
google avatar

Aileen A.

Yelp
While there's a table outside and some makeshift spots inside, I would translate this location to be more of a carry out joint conveniently located off of the 101. They've also got a full size location in North Beach SF. I stupidly over estimated my drive from San Jose so by the time I arrived, I was 30 min late and arrived to a still hot but not piping hot boxes. We ordered the clam and garlic pizza and a sausage pizza for two of us. Honestly could've just order two smalls rather than one small and one large as it was a bit excessive. The clam and garlic was tasty but overwhelming and didn't translate well as next day left overs. The crust transforms into a big brick not even my fancy Balmuda toaster can soften. But the sausage: really tasty, didn't last until the next day, and would order again. Pricing is very fair and competitive. I would order on the way to a party if I happen to be in the area. They've also got some beverages for purchase. Only street parking by the way.

Yelp
Loooove Golden Boy pizza! This is my first time at the San Mateo location, my go to is the SF location. My favorite pizza here is the clam and garlic pizza Disclaimer: you can only order small or large pizza pans here, they do not sell individual slices like SF. Tip: call ahead to order as it takes 30-40min to bake and can get quite busy with lots of orders. There are no tables or chairs to eat on, so it's literally to go only. The restaurant is on the outer park of the block so be prepared to park on the street/sidewalk.
google avatar

Tiffany L.

Yelp
I ordered a large pizza (half garlic clam and half combo), which came out to about $30. My pizza was ready 20 minutes after placing the phone order. You can also order online. Their shop is in an industrial warehouse. No dine-in seating options. There's some street parking spots right in front. FOOD: The garlic clam was very flavorful and very garlicky. The combo did not have as much flavor in comparison, but I did appreciate the vegetables. A large is enough to serve about 4 people. The slices heat up nicely in an air fryer if you have leftovers. Overall, the pizza is good, but I wasn't wowed.
google avatar

Cheley F.

Yelp
WOW! So this place is normally good and I'm thrilled that they have this San Mateo location! I have to say- whoever made the pizzas on April 5,2024 needs a bonus! Tonight's pizza was literally THE BEST I've had here! Got the half clam and garlic /half combo and was sure to get seconds! If you're in the mood for pizza and have a party of 2 or more - (although it freezes well, too!) call in an order and swing by for pick up! Easy parking in the neighborhood and it's ready at the time they give you!

Yelp
I think this is the first time in my life that I wasn't able to finish a pizza I bought from a pizza joint. I've been a regular customer since 2022and I've always liked it but somehow today, they managed to serve the worst pizza I've ever bought. As soon as I opened the box, I had a bad feeling. The toppings (look at the pepperoni and sausage) were very strangely placed. A couple pepperoni slices per pizza slice and then a sausage on top of each pepperoni slice. In previous visits, the toppings were definitely more plentiful. This seemed like someone was playing a joke on us.... Then when we bit into the pizza, it was still doughy. I have no idea how they thought they could sell something like this. I'm not sure what happened, but we are definitely never going back.
google avatar

Kathleen W.

Yelp
Gooden Boy is a nice meal to have but make sure to preorder! We grabbed it for dinner and mmmm the dough is so nice and soft while the pizzas are fresh and packed with punches of garlic and clam, meats and veggies.
google avatar

Nick D.

Yelp
I finally found a truly good pizza spot in the peninsula area. Everything about the pizza is so balanced from the sauce, cheese, dough and toppings. One thing does not overpower the other and every bite is absolutely delicious. It gets especially good when you get to the edges. There's no crust but the outside has a nice crunch to it, kind of like the edge pieces of a brownie. The sauce adds a lot of flavor and depth and I love how they don't skimp out on it. Overall, incredibly good pizza. Highly suggest trying this place. Can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Elber V.

Yelp
Food was great and cooked amazing. Loved the mushrooms and crust. Conveniently located near me only a 3 minute bike ride so it was still hot on my way home
google avatar

Lori M.

Yelp
Best deep dish ever! Great service & fresh ingredients. We order from them a couple time sa month.

Patrick Z.

Yelp
Not many places you can get lunch for 2 for under $20. This place checks all the value boxes. service was super helpful and super friendly. There was already a long line at 12:15. I can see why. Showed up on a Saturday right when they opened. Ordered a small pepperoni & sausage. You can taste the high quality ingredients in the pizza. The flavors are mild. Just the right amount of everything yummy. There is NO place to eat inside. There is a giant couch to wait if your order isn't ready. We found a park very close by and has a great lunch. Have been wanting to try GBP in the City for a long time. So glad it came to fhe butbs. Can't wait to return and try more of the menu.

Yelp
Food 4/5 Service 5/5 Ambiance: grab and go I love golden boy pizza's crust so soft and it just melts in your mouth. Great taste and flavor thank you!
google avatar

Joey W.

Yelp
It's a pick up location in an industrial area of San Mateo. Clam & Garlic pizza - the garlic was strong and the clams seemed not super fresh (guessing it's canned). The crust was crispy. Combo pizza - I preferred this one. Combo pizza doesn't usually have zucchini but it worked. The tomato sauce was a little bland but the sausage brought some salt.
google avatar

Liang H.

Yelp
I love some good pizza! I'm a big fan of Golden Boy Pizza in San Francisco and was excited to find a location closer to me. Although the food is good it is not the same as the San Francisco location. I unfortunately received a cold pizza and they were very stingy with the peppers and cheese. Not to mention no Apple Pay, very inconvenient! If you can try the San Francisco location, much better!
google avatar

Tracy R.

Yelp
Pizza: 5/5 Ambience: 3/5 - this is a take out place only, not a sit down. Which is a bummer because I've gotten pizza here so many times, and have just sat in my car to eat it. It'd be perfect with a better ambience/table seating. I love Golden Boy pizza, and have been to this and the location in the city multiple times. The Detroit style pizza comes in a square, and crust is thick, chewy, and all I love about pizza. My favorites: -Garlic and Clam pizza (5/5), a must try for your first time and your every time at golden boy. The garlic is strong but not overpowering, and melts in your mouth with the clam. I love this with a white wine. -Sausage pizza (5/5), another favorite of mine, I love this mild, slightly spicy pizza when I'm looking for something with a kick. You can only order 1 flavor for the small pizza (4 slices) but 2 for the large (8 slices). I usually call about 20-30 min in advance as that's the time it usually takes to get ready. This is a staple in my household and I'll keep coming back!
google avatar

Amy N.

Yelp
My favorite pizza was the pep/sausage. The dough and sauce were incredible. The cheese pull was nice and stringy. My one complaint is that the ratio of meats weren't even dispersed. That being said, the pizza almost melted in my mouth and disappeared down my stomach. In a flash, the whole thing was gone. As for the garlic clam pizza, it wasn't for me because it was quite too garlicky. It reminded me of a pasta alle vongole. If that's your thing, give it a try!
google avatar

Sue L.

Yelp
I found this spot on Google Maps since we were trying to find a place for dinner. We decided to come here because I've always wanted to try this place in SF but never had the chance to. They don't have any tables available so it's a pick up and go type of spot. We ordered when we arrived but calling in and ordering ahead of time will be much faster. We saw a lot of people just coming in and picking up their order. We ordered a large half combo and clam + garlic. My favorite was the combo because of the sausage and zucchini. I didn't like the clam + garlic as much since it had more of a ocean taste but my fiancé enjoyed it, so more combo for me. We didn't want to travel all the way home so decided to just eat in the car. It would be nice if they had a couple of tables available for sit down, especially for those that dont live close by. Overall, it was a pretty good pizza spot. I would come back to try other items on their menu but probably wouldn't come out of my way for it.
google avatar

Stephanie C.

Yelp
Was getting hungry on the drive back down from SF and since it was rush hour, we decided to make a pit stop here for some pizza. Got their one and only veggie option. Called in the order and it was ready for pickup when we got there. Keep in mind, this is NOT a sit down and eat type of place. There's literally just a couch for you to sit in and relax while waiting for your pizza to come out. And there's not really any parking or seating options outside either. It's definitely meant to be a pickup spot. The pizza was pretty good, but not something I'd seek out especially.
google avatar

Shirley C.

Yelp
Recently ordered pizza here & noticed they changed their recipe to make the crust thinner or the person making it DID NOT QUALITY CONTROL or they are cutting costs. The pizza would not hold itself after 10 mins which is not normal. The dough you can literally rip the pizza apart with your hands instead of using a knife or scissors to slice. The dough was way thinner than usual, flimsy, doughy, and almost as if it was undercooked that the ingredients on top were making the pizza bottom fall apart. Really disappointed at Golden Boy San Mateo! Sadly, due to this, will not be getting Golden Boys for awhile as they are inconsistent with their quality and now no longer one of our top pizza choices.
google avatar

Robert C.

Yelp
What's happened to my favorite pizza? So 2021 was the last time I reviewed GB's. Picked up a pie tonight, got it home, the crust was burned, yet under the cheese the dough was undercooked. A lot of the punch of the spices was gone too. Did they change owners or something?
google avatar

L J.

Yelp
We had Golden Boy Pizza for the first time years ago at their North Beach location. We immediately fell in love with the pizza and the vibe and have returned countless times. We were so excited to hear they opened a location in San Mateo and have been regulars carry-outers since. If you love Detroit style pizza and haven't tried this place yet, boy, are you missing out!
google avatar

Joe S.

Yelp
Just incredible. I cannot describe how much i loved the clam pizza, so intensely garlicky, herby, and the clams are so flavourful without being at all overpowering. The crust is sicilian (they call it san francilian) is beautifully crispy one the sides, and satisfyingly bready without being overly thick like some other sicilians. Can't wait to come back and try the other pies!
google avatar

Ronette B.

Yelp
Went to the movies in San Mateo with a friend. We ordered a pizza half claim & garlic and half combo. Wow, both were delicious and very flavorful. I love the crust and buttery flavor. It was easy to order on the phone and pick up. I never knew about this location, it will definitely be my go to. The prices are very reasonable as well. If you plan to go to the movies and don't want to spend an arm and a leg on the junk food they sell this is a much better option. Bring a few slices in with you and you are set. Definitely give them a try it won't disappoint at all. This location is primarily for pick up only.
google avatar

Christian A.

Yelp
This place has made me a Detroit-style pizza lover. The pizza is always full of flavor and so consistent in how it is made. Clam & garlic is a very potent choice but it works so well together. Combo is a favorite of my wife and son. I called ahead and the pizza was ready in 20 minutes. Hailey helped me on the phone and in person, amazing customer service. I spent no more than 2 minutes inside to pay and receive my pizza. Once you step inside the location you feel the warmth and smell the pizza being made. I wish there was inside seating but I understand it is more profitable for them to keep it "to-go" only. I will continue to be a frequent customer here!
google avatar

Ori S.

Yelp
Greatest pizza in the area! Very clean The only "bad side" no real room to eat there
google avatar

C. H.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious! We order the large Combo and Clam + Garlic every time and the whole family loves it. Soft and pillowy, perfectly melted cheese, excellent topping to sauce to cheese ratio, and lightly crispy edges. Highly recommend requesting "double cut" for easier serving and sharing, especially with kids. Golden Boy Pizza Nights at our house are a family favorite. Always a win.
google avatar

Roozbeh Z.

Yelp
Wonderful pizza. The place is so busy that takes forever to get your pizza, but it worth it. The large pizza is good for four people. For most places, the large pizza is just enough for one person, but golden boy guys are GOLDEN and generous. They pack enough food that four large people would be satisfied. I love it. The pizza tastes good too. You have the option to customize it a bit as well. They don't have sitting area, it is only take out, and the line will freak you out. Be patient, you'll be happy
google avatar

Makayla M.

Yelp
Arrived super quickly Did not listen to special instructions about taking off mushrooms. Taste is fine. Crisp cold coke can.

Sam R.

Yelp
This one was on a soft focaccia bread; but if you get a crispy focaccia bottom, it's also great! Filling for 2 people. I've had their veggie, combo and pepperoni., all delicious! Note, San Mateo shop only sell small and large pan. The San Francisco one sells by slice and pan.
google avatar

Michael C.

Yelp
The pizza itself is okay at best. Steer clear of the clam pizza unless you want a date with your toilet. Honestly I think the only reason this place is highly regarded is because word of mouth but quality has gone down hill. Square pie guys is so much better. But the service is great! Super friendly but mediocre high priced pizza is the downfall here.
google avatar

Jonathan Y.

Yelp
The pizza as BOMB. Service was very nice and helpful. I ordered over the phone and picked it up in 15 min. i highly recommend the clam pizza and the pepperoni was good too.

Yelp
Golden Boy Pizza is one of the most remarkable Pizza Shops in the world. Now you may say to yourself, "That's a pretty big statement Mr. Marco. What do you have to back it up?" These pizzas are fully loaded! First of all, they make all their own dough. I don't know what magic powder goes into the recipe but there is a homemade quality to the puffy, tender, focaccia-like quality of their dough. It is thick and has just the right bite. This dough tastes different than any kind of dough I've ever had and it is delicious! I've watched them make it at their shop in San Francisco and I've yet to be able to duplicate it. (I'll keep trying) Don't expect a flat, New York style pizza. This is different. In Italy they would call it Taglio (Cut Pizza which is sold by weight) and here in the USA it is along the lines of Detroit Style. The test of any restaurant is that they give you what they say they are going to give. They make only three kinds of pizza and they make them all well. What you see is what you get. Take a look at the website and that's what you are going to get, every time. (Consistency is a big plus in my book) I get one every time I go on a trip through SFO (because I live across the Bay). I can't wait for my next trip. GO GOLDEN BOY! No pictured, I ate it already...

Yelp
What a great extension of their San Francisco North Beach location! I grew up eating Golden Boy, walking past their Green Street store front and seeing their pizza displayed in the window--but I digress. This is a wholesale only business and there is no dine-in option. You cannot buy "by the slice" and must order by the half sheet (4 giant slices). The square pieces are focaccia with toppings, also known as Sicilian style, pan pizza, maybe even consider it Detroit style. Call it what you want, it's just plain and simply delicious. Your best bet is to call in your order and pick it up...it will take a longer to order at the counter and wait for your order. There is no parking lot--street parking only. If you are able to go with 2 people, one of you can sit in the car, while the other runs in to pick it up. Depending on what you order the price for 4 pieces is about $13. We ordered the clam and garlic (my personal favorite) and the combo, 8 squares came out to about $30. I thought 2 squares was enough for me, so there were leftovers for the next day--what's not to like about next day cold pizza. I added hot honey to my combo piece for extra deliciousness (they don't carry it, it's something I have a home). It's awesome that you can see their trademark pointing finger from Highway 101.
