I don't normally do reviews but for a fast food burger this is good second time here so good I'll be back again 🤤

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid! I’m 27 now the food taste the same! AMAZING my go to is the chicken teriyaki ! The workers here are super polite too

Cashier was rude beyond I asked her twice about my drink and she said yes imagine my surprise when I didn't get my drink! I'm sorry but this is not Louis burgers and the prices are outrageous for what they're serving!

The food is really good. The guys are nice. The owner is awesome. He makes you feel real comfortable. The wait is not long in and out

love it here, great atmosphere. relaxing. so good boba always nice and soft just perfect one of my favorite spots love the reward program

There was a hair in my $18 greasy chicken salad!

Breakfast Burrito 1/2 Sausage and 1/2 Bacon Salsa on the side (great kick to it) No Pico the gallo (miscommunication on my part) This breakfast burrito is smaller inside in comparison to other places. However, for under $12 will definetely get you to your next meal. Also, you are eating a more calorie friendly burrito due to size. The cheese perfectly melted, combination of sauage and bacon, and a buttery tortilla made a very good burrito. If you are not afraid of spicy food, add your salsa and pico de gallo inside your burrito.

I remember coming here a lot when I was a kid. And I’m sure the burgers stayed the same. But Long Beach always has the best burgers. Unfortunately we moved to az so I visited last year and I went straight here for a good burger

I've been going to Golden Burger for over 20 years -- enough said. Leo and Geo, the main cooks, are true pros. Their attention to detail and pride in their work comes through in every meal, and it's a big part of why the food always tastes great. Whether it's breakfast, lunch, or dinner, they've got it all covered. Golden Burger has been a consistent favorite of mine for decades, and it's a place I'll always come back to. They're a local community staple.

The staff is fantastic, the service is fast and friendly, and the food is delicious. Every time we order takeout, everything is perfectly prepared.

Before I start, we I actually got tasted very good. Now, I ordered a dbl bacon avocado cburger. Then the menu shows the burger and then shows all the fixings. I assumed that if I ordered the item that I wouldn't then be charged extra for the items listed in the name of the burger. On top of that, there wasn't a single piece of bacon ON the burger. Oh but I did find 1 sliced mushroom. I gave 3 stars because it did taste good but wouldn't return for a burger and fries I could get for half the price.

Too expensive and food isn't even great! Don't understand why this food is so over priced. I still rather go to a tams pay less for way better burgers and fries

Seriously hair in the mayo container ??? This is not the first time hair is found in there food This is unacceptable

The food here is your traditional diner food. I usually get a burger here. However, I probably won't go back any more because it's really expensive now. Items and now 15 bucks a meal and I would rather go elsewhere to get a better burger for that price. Family of two almost paying 40 bucks for an Okay meal here.

This is my second time ordering food to go. The staff is very friendly, the food is generous, and very tasty. What can I say? It's in the hood, but hood, food is good food!!!

This joint never disappoints... my big girl on a diet don't try it loves breakfast here... but all has been great chili cheese fries, burgers, salads you name it they got it and it is delish definitely my go too.

The lady has answered the phone and sat it down on 2 different occasions and u can hear her taking orders and left me on the phone 10-15 minutes waiting until I had to go up there she still had the phone sitting there while I was still on the phone....I'm very irritated

Good little spot! I love the fries! Teriyaki chicken is great!! I always come here for lunch and order ahead. The staff is amazing. Been here about 2 times will definitely be coming back whenever I crave teriyaki chicken

No lack of seasoning on the food and rice wasn't cook all the way It was no customer and it still took forever to get my food

Oh my god it was good! This place looked sneezy from the outside but my girl wanted chili cheese fries. This I journeyed into this place. I was a little worried at first but quickly felt Better. The guy was really nice. He joked With me and took my order no problem. I ordered a cheese burger and chili cheese fries. The chili cheese fries aren't on the Menu but you can get Them in small or Large. I got Large. They had so much cheese And the chili actually tasted good!!! No cry was left behind! It was amazin! The burger was good. The patty was a little Small but it tasted right. Gotta respect that. They've also got Mexican food and I'm curious to try that out. Good place.

It's been a few years since I've had them and I must say, not to shabby.. It isn't to bad for a local place. Fries are pretty good.. burgers are ok. Ok place to get your burger fix. If your looking to get amaxing burgers you'd eant to go else where. But again, not a bad place for a quick bite.. Chili fries are ok to.

My brother introduced me to this place a couple of years ago and so far we keep coming back for the burgers. Staff is friendly the food always comes out fresh. Customers don't have access to the soda fountain, but they do offer one free refill. I like their interior! I feel like I just walked into an old school diner in Big Bear lol its definitely outdated, but its clean and the tables aren't all marked up with deep scratches like other small restaurants. The food is a bit pricier compared to other spots and it's due to the higher quality they offer. For example their burgers have crunchy leaf lettuce while other spots throw on shredded lettuce that gets the buns all soggy. Their fries are fresh, always. They have seasoning on the side for you the shaker is tied up tho, cause apparently they get stolen. This business has that "mom and pop" type of feel.

Ordered a Veggie Burger and a Double bacon avocado burger with a large order of fries through Postmates. I have ordered from here before and never had a problem. They forgot my large fries. When l called them, they told me that there was some confusion and they closed my bag and sent it on its way. I mean eating a burger with no fries is like eating cereal without milk. I was very very disappointed . If someone messes up on my orders l usually give them a second chance to make amends for their previous mistake. However, in this instance, not sure if l want to go back for more bad service. You figure both the place you order from and the delivery driver would double check to make sure your order is complete before delivering it to you. Sorry but they really dropped the ball this time. Maybe I'll try them again in the future but right now, it's thumbs down

This place has one of the best chicken teriyaki. The first is in Oakland CA at Summit cafe. I cannot speak on other items on their menu but this chicken teriyaki seems to be a hit. While eating in the restaurant-there were other families ordering so I know this place is probably pretty known for that. The bathroom could be a little cleaner.

Great place cuz got the breakfast burrito cant go wrong with the golden burger combo.

Good food and service, even tho its in a sketchy location always hot this spot up for lunch great prices.

Good food if you wanna kick your diet out of the way! Lol! Love their fries!!!!! I've known this place since I was in middle school, and talk about a loyal customer. I used to live on Bort St, right across the restaurant and after school, coming from Hamilton Middle School, would come here with my cousin to get the fries and play the Love Test game. Lol!!!!

It's not in the prettiest part of Long Beach, and it's not the most modern dininig location - but don't let it deter you from eating at Golden Burger. This place is legit. It seem like a typical burger joint, but that's so not the case. I've been here a few times and tried different items on the menu and wow - everything definitely kicks ass. There hamburger combinations are a great choice... the hamburgers are so damn tasty. There fries have that season taste them...yumm. Try there chicken terriyaki bowl... it is a winner. Swing by this place if around the vicinity and you will not be disappointed.

This place is sooo damn delicious. I work nearby and go often, they have anything from carne asada, teriyaki, and a variety of hamburgers. I am a simple guy, my number one choice is the regular hamburger special with your choice of drink and thousand island dipping sauce. Their fries are also very delicious, I always ask for them soft but they taste good crunchy too. So If your ever in north long beach I recommend this spot. -fdd2blk

Food is good and cheap. If you don't mind flies hovering over you food and a very outdated interior than this place is right for you. No wifi here.

Gone to this restaurant 2 times. First time our fries were under cooked, and they didnt want to replace the order 2Nd time the pastrami was super chewy and had a lot of fat, was not seasoned well.. And again thier fries were still raw

What can I say about Golden Burger, Well they are awesome! if you must get something to eat there chicken teriyaki dinner is the BEST! I have been coming here for about 6 years and they have never failed me here ever since high school i have not found a better place to eat teriyaki. They also offer all types of foods that are delicious and the service is great there, they are fast and friendly. cons, not so good looking from outside but inside is semi clean and is O.K. to eat inside.

Ghetto as fuck, I mean it. I like hole in the wall places I don't even bother with the ratings but this place takes the cake. It needs a major update and tile on the floor is caved in. I also had the luck of coming in when this man had his pants all the way down under his butt. I lost my appetite, not worth coming here.

Great place , great fries always get the teriyaki chicken. Reasonable price service is great and fast.

This place has great food. Everything on the menu is good from breakfast to lunch and dinner. I wish they had a drive thru and stayed open 24 hr.

This place has a good teriyaki chicken bowl! The taste is yummy. I just had another place's teriyaki beef and wished I'd come here instead! I dropped the score 1 star today because after having the other place and wanted this one. Must have been an off day. The chicken was a little hard. Guess everyone has a bad day.

This is my favorite place when I come to the North Side ! The chili cheese fries and teriyaki chicken is the best thing here ! I've been coming here for years since I moved to NSLB in 2003!

Best Teriyaki?... More like WORST! Better off getting Panda Express, Golden Bowl, or even making my own! The Teriyaki chicken here made my whole family think it was dog food!

I've lived down the street from this business since 1998, great atmosphere, great food, great prices; no further comments needed.

I've been coming here since middle school, out of high school now and it's still the spot to hit up when I want a burger or teriyaki dinner. The employees are friendly and they are familiar with there customers.

My grandparents have living here since the 70's and whenever we visit them they would ask "what would you like to eat" and we would say "golden burger" so we would call and place an order and it hasn't failed us yet and the service is good, people are very friendly, and the food is amazing. Also don't judge by its appearance judge it by its service. P.s if you want your fries or meat be specific, like if you want your fries crispy say "I want my fries crispy" or if you want it well done say "well done" and if you get lucky they tell you the secret menu.

Hamburger special is what I get, I miss the chocolate shakes though. For breakfast I get a sausage breakfast burrito no salsa with OJ. Back in high school this was my spot for the munchies.

I am absolutely horrified by the service I received here today. I have frequented this place for a few weeks as a few of my friends turned it on to me from work. A lot of people from our work eat here. However today I called in an order for me and a few coworkers who did not want our free employee lunch today. When I arrived I checked to see if the order was correctly made. They did not listen to my special instructions over the phone and ruined my coworkers order. When I pointed this out they flat out lied and told me I was the one who ordered it wrong and there was NOTHING they could do about the matter. The lady at the cash register was named Alex. She had me talk to a Cook who gave me the "are you stupid?" look. They offered me a refund or the wrong order. I asked if they could simply correct my burger and they refused. I don't really have a problem with mistakes in orders, it happens enough that I can forgive it. We are all human. However the fact that the refused to acknowledge they got something wrong and then refused to take my money/correct the mistake is appalling. Neither I nor any of my coworkers will be venturing to this spot again. I would be happy to make a new review or edit this one if the mistake was corrected. However they have refused both in-person and over the phone to make this right. So In short tldr mode. If you don't like being treated like garbage off the street even if your a repeat customer. Do not eat here.

I love this place. I work near by and it is quick and easy. My two favorite things to order there is the California Burger and a breakfast burrito with double sausage and double bacon with extra cheese and easy salsa because it is a bit to spicy for me.

haute cuisine it ain't, but if you want a 3" pastrami sandwich - this is the place to go. in a neighborhood devoid of anything good, golden burger is right in the middle of the pack. most regulars probably are not checking yelp for reviews.

The food is good but the service is very poor & unprofessional. This is why i give it 1 star for the service. Every time I make an order the girls who answers the phone always gets my order wrong. Even after you have repeat it back. I understand that mistakes happens but seriously 4 times. When you call back to let them know the mistake & let them know that it's not first time your order is wrong. They have attitude, very rude, unprofessional leaves the phone off the hook when you are trying to explain that it's an inconvenience to return back when it's 7:30pm at nite. You hear them in the back talking bad of you in spanish. Yes, I spoke to them in english but I also speak spanish & didn't appreciate what I heard. Since the prior owner sold the employees especially the women have not been good.Ever since then customer service has gone down. The owner is always in a bad mood. When trying to talk to her she tries to shut you up & get you out. I ordered today chili fries & the cheese was not even melted. The strips of cheese were so intact that I had to warm it up myself at home. I know we have to make a living but if the person doesn't speak proper English, has broken english & the spanish comes out. Please have someone else who does speak english to take the order. It'll decrease mistakes, fustration, & bad service. It's the customer who you need to accomadate to be able to spread a good word about the location. My advice is also, do go at nite there's a lot of prostitutes & homeless that hang around the place. It kinda has foul smell of urine on the outside in the parking lot.. My advice to everyone is to check there food every time you prior leaving & go in the day.Usually the place that doesn't have too much popularity are pretty good & service as well. Not much I can say good about this place.just that if better service without attitude or rudeness to your customer, this would be okay to dine..

I grew up with this place and trust me, it's much better than any fast food joint out there. It's one of the best burger joints around.

The golden buger is by far the best ...dont judge a book by its cover the food is delicious
