Golden Corral Buffet & Grill

I'm not a big fan of the 'all you can eat' buffet style restaurant, but I do enjoy eating at the Golden Corral every once in a while. The food is good and there is a lot of variety in the salads, the entrees and the desserts. The staff make it a point to keep your drinking glasses full, and clearing your table as you go back for seconds. Sundays afternoon, noontime can get pretty hetic as the churches let out, and everyone heads here for lunch. I would strongly suggest getting there for lunch before noontime on Sunday to beat the crowds. It is one price and all you can eat. Drinks are not included in the meal price. Seniors get discounts that are particularly good for the Monday through Friday lunch period.

Fresh and delicious food, but the employees gave off such weird vibes. Like they wanted me to not feel comfortable. Will not be back, but 3 stars for at least serving hot and fresh food.

On Sunday, September 7, 2025 at 7:30 p.m., our party of three stopped to have dinner. All things went well, until I bit into a dumpling (chicken and dumplings) to find a big, black hair in it. I showed it to my waitress, who said she would get the manager and show her, but no one so much as even apologized. The only person who was sympathetic was the man cleaning the women’s restroom, when I went and vomited! I understand that accidents happen, but at least have the courtesy to apologize. We were all but ignored after the event. Our family will never eat there again.

The food was good but I had an issue with them not doing military discount and we were in Dublin Ga going to the VA hospital. It's a military town and they are the only one I know that don't do the discount. Odd! But other than that the service was on and good was good but the dessert was not the best.

The food was decent for a buffet. The veggies could use some seasoning because they taste like they came straight from a can. The steak was great. It had good flavor & was seasoned well. The waitstaff was very friendly and attentive.

I went to this place on August 9, and the Mac & cheese was soupy and cold. Broccoli was RAW it wasn’t even steam nor cooked. No fresh food was out everything wasn’t perfect the only good thing that was on there was the salad bar and the desert bar. Ya’ll need to do better or ya’ll will loose customers.

Although it was a very busy mother's Day weekend the lines moved quickly. The server was great and stayed on top of drinks she was amazing. The food of course was fantastic.

Been going to Dublin Georgia restaurant for years I went in and got my special needs child his favorite plate of Golden corral one small piece of grilled chicken a slice of carrot cake in a scoop of mashed potatoes and gravy I watch the man in front of me with the same plate that my son had pretty much anything else he had more than my son had the guy in front of me paid $3.50 and then we proceeded to pay for our order and my son's plate was $22.87 you tell me how that happens I've never been so embarrassed in my life it took every penny we had and I barely had the gas to make it home

Holy cow I had such an amazing dinner there I had to leave a review. I hadn't had a good southern meal in years and if you're looking for some good southern cooking go here! It's the real deal!

Hands down better that competition. Food is temperature appropriate. Waitress always good for us. Food is plentiful. Staff found montor their stations. Variety is awesome. Great senior, military discounts especially after 2 PM. I go back often.

The service was great, I never ran out of soda. The people were kind who work there. The food was amazing especially the shrimp was crunchy and soft in the middle. Totally delicious! Most of their food was tasting top-notch last night. It is $20 with tax and, a drink, the desserts were good too especially the fudge, banana, pudding, and fudge brownies with frosting. The restaurant was clean and the food all looked good. It was Wednesday night and there wasn't a huge line. I will definitely be back.

If you can't find some good here you need to stay home because you can't be please. I have eaten there 3 times so far and have never been disappointed. This goes for the 15 In my party.. I may go tomorrow for lunch as it's only 59 miles from me.

The food was so delicious and and the service was good but a little attitude over all the expressions was great the attitude just knocked of a point

I don't usually review a chain restaurant. The cookie-cutter averageness of corporate American restaurants should be enough said. My wife and I recently visited the Dublin Golden Coral. We got there around 7 PM on a Monday. There were maybe 10 tables occupied, no doubt due to Covid. GC has always been to me one of those "dependable" places. Nothing fancy nor fantastic, but fairly decent at a reasonable price. No more. The salad bar was fresh. The hot vegetable bar was not. Most were pale, indicating they'd been steaming for a while. I tried the butterfly and popcorn shrimp. The butterfly was the most awful; a gooey mass without the first hint of shrimp. Popcorn was crunchy crust without shrimp taste. The sirloin had a good taste but was chewy and fatty. The killing stroke of why I'll never go back was the price. $14.25 plus $2.25 for tea. At last I can say, "Wow!"

My husband and I ate at this location and half way through our meal, my husband cut into his bourbon chicken, took a bite to discover it was raw! I informed someone from the kitchen staff and he went to the bathroom and lost his lunch. Literally. When our waitress came back to get the dirty plates one of which had melted ice cream on it. She tipped the plates over my lap and poured melted ice cream all over my lap. It wasn't a very pleasant experience. I would like to think that maybe a manager would have come to talk with us but no one ever came. My poor husband left sick.

GREAT service. I was part of a school group that visited this restaurant on Friday April 1, 2016. There were 85 teenagers and 13 adults in our party. The service was excellent. They handled our needs with care and much professionalism. Special thanks Tammy and the other wait staff. You all were great. I will be emailing corporate as well to share these accolades. Lots of people hate Golden Corral. But I hate people that don't like Golden Corral. This Golden Corral location is just like every other Golden Corral location on Earth. You pay $15 and some change plus tip by the way don't forget the tip because you're waitress works for tips and you get wonderful delicious food. Plenty of salads. Plenty of meat. Plenty of veggies. Plenty of desserts.

I went to the Golden Corral with a friend when they were running a prime rib special on the buffet. The special started at 4 p.m., so we arrived at 4:04 to ensure we received fresh & hot food. We were so disappointed. The prime rib was not even the least bit hot - it had a greasy texture and was barely edible. The best thing we ate was a baked potato! That was the second time that I ate at the Dublin, GA Golden Corral and neither experience was good. The Golden Corral in Americus, GA is awesome, so I just assumed the one in Dublin, GA would be as well, but I could not have been more wrong.
