It was packed and getting more busy. Maybe because there are hardly any more buffets (maybe a dozen casino buffets, and for breakfast, they are over $25 ea).
Early bird breakfast: $9.99- 7:30 am- starts
I could've eaten more but I didn't want to be sick. I stopped at 2 plates and had ice cream (swirl- choc & vanilla) w/ 2 small cookies (good sampling size).
What I had was good, but I ignored a whole food station. I started off with a side salad, w/ blue cheese dressing. I had some large fried shrimp, some popcorn shrimp, baked seasoned fish, and paella (pretty good). I got seconds of the seasoned baked fish, and got a bowl of chicken noodle soup, along with a packet of oyster crackers.
Again, I reiterate, what I had was good. Our son liked the food: a side salad w/ ranch dressing, popcorn shrimp, steak, soup, & a brownie sundae. Our son thought the warmed plates were weird, which melted hubby's cookie. Hubby said it's not goumet, a bit pricey. My FIL and his wife love it- they had a birthday promo and they are seniors.
I remember liking the other location's breakfast buffet. So, I'd be curious to try this one out too. The other one had a chocolate fondue, not the case here, though.
I wanted to try the carrot cake but there are no small plates, just the small handled bowls.
