All-you-can-eat American fare with salad & dessert bars

"Buffet fanatics now have another option to fill their all-you-can-eat cravings. Golden Corral in Henderson near the Galleria at Sunset reopened. The buffet, which closed in March 2020 when the state shut down nonessential businesses, returns with its cornucopia of food, including a weekend breakfast, build-your-own burgers for lunch, and dinner options such as fried chicken, meatloaf, and pot roast as well as sirloin steaks. The buffet boasts more than 150 options." - Susan Stapleton

"I observed that Golden Corral, which arrived at the Crossroads at Sunset retail center in July 2018 (following an earlier northeast Las Vegas location), has been closed since March; Colliers International is marketing the 12,400-square-foot corner restaurant at the intersection of Sunset Road and Stephanie Street for immediate lease, with an option to combine an extra 4,890-square-foot unit next door. The national franchise was hit hard by COVID-19 and has only returned to business at another local site, 1455 S. Lamb Boulevard, where it reopened with a new cafeteria-style setup plus daily to-go and delivery options for its family-focused, casual American menu; a planned Reno expansion had been announced before the pandemic." - Bradley Martin

"Golden Corral, which opened in July 2018 in northeast Las Vegas and later operated a Henderson location at the Crossroads at Sunset, has been closed since March while the company lists the 12,400-square-foot corner restaurant (with an option to combine an adjacent 4,890-square-foot space) as available for immediate lease." - Eater Staff

"I visited the Henderson Golden Corral at 1445 W. Sunset Road near the Galleria at Sunset (close to the intersection of Stephanie Street and Sunset Road) and found the national chain’s “endless buffet” format on display: 150 dishes across nearly 12,000 square feet. The spread includes a salad bar, steaks cooked to order, slow-smoked meats, an occasional seafood night, and desserts that are repeatedly refilled. The restaurant is currently running a “Wing Fest” with five varieties — Nashville hot boneless, Buffalo wings with Frank’s RedHot Buffalo Wing Sauce, spicy garlic, honey sesame, and smoked barbecue — and is open 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday–Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday. Golden Corral originally opened in Fayetteville, North Carolina in 1973, its first Las Vegas location opened near Lamb and Charleston boulevards in December 2013, and this Henderson spot sits less than half a mile from Sunset Station’s Feast Buffet." - Susan Stapleton

"First revealed in April of last year, the second local outpost for buffet specialists Golden Corral is set to officially open with a Henderson Chamber ribbon-cutting at 4 p.m. on July 18. The 11,000-square-foot restaurant will occupy the corner space at the Crossroads at Sunset retail center at the intersection of Stephanie Street and Sunset Road, and its exterior will feature the familiar “red bay” and “brittlebush” color scheme. Future serving hours for this Henderson location have not been posted, but the eastside location opens at 9:30 a.m. for lunch and dinner and at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday, staying open as late as 10 p.m. on the weekend. On the menu, diners can expect an “endless buffet” stocked with more than 150 choices across the serving stations, including family-friendly favorites like cotton candy and a “chocolate waterfall.”" - Bradley Martin
