A salad bar, steaks cooked to order, slow-smoked meats, an occasional seafood night, and desserts get refilled repeatedly at this buffet that’s open from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday. "The second local outpost for buffet specialists Golden Corral now has an opening date in Henderson. Yet to publicly announce its arrival, the Henderson Chamber of Commerce is much more willing to promote the occasion and will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4 p.m. on July 18 to declare the 11,000-square-foot restaurant officially open. Located at the Crossroads at Sunset retail center, the corner space at the intersection of Stephanie Street and Sunset Road sits less than half a mile from the Sunset Station’s Feast Buffet. Hard to miss, the exterior will feature the familiar “red bay” and “brittlebush” color scheme. Future serving hours have not been posted, but the eastside location opens at 9:30 a.m. for lunch and dinner and at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday, staying open as late as 10 p.m. on the weekend.
