The buffet, which closed in March 2020 when the state shut down nonessential businesses, returns with its cornucopia of food, including a weekend breakfast, build-your-own burgers for lunch, and dinner options such as fried chicken, meatloaf, and pot roast as well as sirloin steaks. The buffet boasts more than 150 options." - Susan Stapleton

"Arriving in July, 2018, five years after its northeast Las Vegas predecessor, Golden Corral has been closed at Henderson's Crossroads at Sunset retail center since March. While the company continues to announce 'operations are temporarily suspended' at the intersection of Sunset Road and Stephanie Street, real estate broker Colliers International listed the 12,400-square-foot corner restaurant as available for immediate lease, with the opportunity to combine with an extra 4,890-square-foot property next door." - Bradley Martin

"In a region with more than 70 buffets spanning seafood to Brazilian churrascarias, taking over resorts from Aliante to Henderson, Golden Corral enters the market for a second pass at fulfilling diners’ all-you-can-eat dreams. The Henderson location at 1445 W. Sunset Road opened near the Galleria at Sunset close to the intersection of Stephanie Street and Sunset Road. The national chain that originally opened in Fayetteville, North Carolina in 1973 boasts 150 dishes on its “endless buffet” that spans nearly 12,000 square feet. A salad bar, steaks cooked to order, slow-smoked meats, an occasional seafood night, and desserts get refilled repeatedly at this buffet that’s open from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday. Right now, the restaurant has “Wing Fest” with five varieties including Nashville hot boneless, Buffalo wings with Frank’s RedHot Buffalo Wing Sauce, spicy garlic, honey sesame, and smoked barbecue wings." - Susan Stapleton

"The second local outpost for buffet specialists Golden Corral now has an opening date in Henderson. Yet to publicly announce its arrival, the Henderson Chamber of Commerce is much more willing to promote the occasion and will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4 p.m. on July 18 to declare the 11,000-square-foot restaurant officially open. Located at the Crossroads at Sunset retail center, the corner space at the intersection of Stephanie Street and Sunset Road sits less than half a mile from the Sunset Station’s Feast Buffet. Hard to miss, the exterior will feature the familiar “red bay” and “brittlebush” color scheme. Future serving hours have not been posted, but the eastside location opens at 9:30 a.m. for lunch and dinner and at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday, staying open as late as 10 p.m. on the weekend. On the menu, diners can expect an “endless buffet,” stocked with more than 150 choices at the different serving stations, including family-friendly favorites of cotton candy and a “chocolate waterfall.”" - Bradley Martin

"Golden Corral is confident Las Vegas can handle another all-you-can-eat dining alternative. The national brand is now hiring for its second local restaurant, which is an 11,000-square-foot location headed to Henderson’s Crossroads at Sunset retail center. Although the official opening date has not been announced, the 'careers' site is hiring 'team members' and advising future employees it will be 'opening soon' at the intersection of Stephanie Street and Sunset Road. The restaurant will feature the trademark 'red bay' and 'brittlebush' color scheme. The first Las Vegas location is near the intersection of Lamb and Charleston boulevards, opening at 10.30 a.m. for lunch and dinner and at 7.30 a.m on Saturday and Sunday." - Bradley Martin

We've been to this location a few times. Food is always good. Great big salad bar, dessert bar, and so many foods to choose from. Personally, my husband and I go there for the fried chicken, mash potatoes , gravy, corn and they have the best dinner rolls. Salad bar is nice.. plus if you like desserts, they have alot to choose. Great place to eat for all you can eat buffet.

Yum yum... love Golden Corral ✨️ 💛 it doesn't matter which Golden Corral I go to I Love The Seasoning they use on their steak I love the deep fried fish I love everything on the menu actually. The only thing that I'm sad about is that they took away the chocolate fountain which was awesome. I don't know why they took away the chocolate fountain because everybody else can stick their fingers and all the other food so there's no reason why they shouldn't bring it back. $39.00 for 2 without drinks, which should be included

I’ve been going to The Golden Corral since the 80s! They have them everywhere in Florida. Same then, same now. Good food at a great price. Well, it’s certainly no 80s prices anymore but for the price where else can you get to eat any type of food you want, dessert and salad for one great price? I had a large spinach salad with olives, cheese and their famous crab salad on top! I’ve been eating that stuff since I was a kid. Same ole recipe (although they used to leave the imitation crab in chunks back then and today it’s shredded) I had fried chicken, fried shrimp (the size of my thumb, (I’d say 51/50) I made a taco. Lolol. I forgot to take pictures of my sweet rolls and dessert! Boo. But I had chocolate moose pie, chocolate chip cookies and a cinnamon roll. Their dessert bar is full of sweet treat and they have a frozen yogu machine. Ohhh, their homemade carrot cake is just like grandma used to make with shredded carrots and walnuts!!! Really, if you haven’t been here it’s a must. After 4 pm it’s 17 dollars a person but that gives you sirloin, fried fish, shrimp, meatloaf, loaded bake potatoes, baked fish, soup and the most comprehensive salad bar with all kinds of choices. The restaurant is clean, staff friendly and the managers are very nice. I had to ask him to get my water because they were super busy on Memorial Day weekend! But he gladly helped. They have all dressings, sauces needed for the food they serve. If you can’t find something, ask, they are super nice and will show you. There is so much there that I couldn’t possibly list all the food they carry.

Everything was fresh. We went with some friends after picking them up from the airport. Couldn't decide what to eat because there were so many foods to pick from. The chicken and pot roast were so tender and delicious. It's really worth your time and money. Loved it. Oh! The staff were very polite and friendly. They were very attentive and very nice. From the person checking you in, to the waiters and the servers. All personnel were fantastic. Highly recommend this place. Very clean, too.

Good place to eat whatever you want, as much as you want. Breakfast is only available on Saturdays and Sundays. This is a former Borders book store

Google
This Golden Corral was excellent! Great prices and fast and great service! The food was awesome for a buffet! They even cooked my steak medium rare on request as part of the buffet. The BBQ chicken was great as well! Everything was fresh and our waiter constantly filled our drinks, was friendly and took our finished plates away fast. A huge and wide selection of food and desserts! Great price for a buffet in Vegas if you want a place to bring your family and kids away from the strip!

Google
I have been to many buffets across many countries, and this has to be one of the best overall buffets in terms of price, selection of items, food quality and service. They have all the usuals for breakfast and burgers, ice cream on top. Can't beat that. Must eat in Vegas.

On Sunday, 9/22/24 at 2:30 PM, I went with my wife to the Golden Corral restaurant in Henderson, Nevada, the one located on Sunset and Stephanie. This is how poor the service is at this place. I was in line to order some steaks that were being cooked on the grill. My wife stepped out of the line to wash her hands in the restroom before eating. I stayed in line, and when it was my turn to order, I asked for one medium well steak and one well done for my wife. The lady serving the food, who wasn't even a cook as she wasn’t wearing a chef's uniform and apparently was the manager’s assistant, told me that I couldn’t order anything for my wife because she wasn’t in line. When she said that I couldn’t order for my wife, I responded, "Excuse me, I already paid for both of us, and I have every right to order the food we are going to eat." I immediately stepped out of the line and called the manager to ask for a refund, as their service was extremely poor and terrible. The manager got upset, claiming that I had spoken rudely to the employees, which was not true. I told him, "Look, I was a buffet chef for 25 years, and your service and that of your place is awful." P.S. The place and the food aren’t the problem; the issue is the terrible service from the manager and his assistant. They are leading the business down the wrong path.

Yelp
The food is good. Though, half of the things are soaked in water. My grand daughter was yelled at and accused for licking a chicken wing. The icee machine is never working. I wouldn't really recommend this place but it's fine. The cotton candy is actually surprisingly really good. The jello also bounces pretty high. The down side of the jello is that it has hard chunky pieces. The people are pretty nice but aren't much help. If you ever go there I wouldn't recommend eating the brussel sprouts they are soggy. If you are vegetarian I wouldn't go there the veggies are either hard / stale or soggy/ wet. 3 star review!!! I wouldn't go there at alllllll!!!

Yelp
My 5 star rating is based on what we received versus what we expected: The staff were friendly, helpful, and hard working. The restrooms were very clean, as was the well-maintained dining area. None of that was expected. We were under their impression that Golden Corral would be more along the lines of a Walmart in a bad neighborhood. Not at all!! Golden Corral is very nice. The food selection was traditional comfort food: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, fried chicken and fish, etc. But there was also a terrific salad area. Tacos were available, baked fish, lots of veggies (fresh and canned), sweet potatoes, beef stew, carved meats and probably lots more. And tons of desserts. Nothing gourmet but all very tasty. Where else can you get all of this for about $15.00?!? We left very full, and very (surprisingly) pleased. Thank you Golden Corral!

Yelp
This was my first time here. The hostess was nice but she over charged me. I came in with my daughter and was charged for 2 adults. Not a super big deal, but just a little annoying. The place was not as clean as it could be, but we were there about 2 hours before closing, so maybe they were completing pre-closing duties and it just looked a little disorganized. Food was good. They were constantly bringing out fresh food. There wasn't any empty food stations, everything was stocked and freshly brought out. I really enjoyed the fried chicken and steak. My daughter loved the pizza, fries and fried fish. I was surprised she liked the fish, she's really picky. I have to say, I would return, just maybe a little earlier in the evening, or maybe I'll come by for the breakfast buffet.

Yelp
A month ago or so I noticed this location had 4.5* or so...and I have been looking forward to a trip to enjoy. Food great as usual from my GC experiences...but the bathroom at 30 minutes after opening smells/smelled like most public bathrooms. Seems in the past month(s) something changed here.. ..I'd rather go to the sunset casino buffet.

Yelp
Decided to give this Golden Corral another chance after going here a couple years ago and not having a pleasant experience - still unpleasant (as of a month ago). We did come during a busier day and closer to dinner, but there was no (cut) meat available and no person behind the counter serving any portions. Throughout our time grabbing plates, we were unable to get any sliced meats, such as steak. With how expensive it was (nearing around $70/3 people), it was disappointing that we could not enjoy this section of the buffet. Our only choices were the salad bar, basic foods (ex: hushpuppies, fries, fried chicken, pizza), and the dessert bar. Our server was pleasant and did his best getting drinks for us between plates. *The older guy at the front taking in guests was very rude to my mom. Did not know if we caught him on the wrong day, but he was explaining the card reader to my mom as if she did not understand anything and even sighed and rolled his eyes. Very disrespectful. Will not be coming back anymore.

Yelp
I know you might be thinking why I would go to Golden Corral while you are in Las Vegas visiting. But if you didn't know many elderly people love coming here because they do get a discount and they love variety. So sometimes I end up coming here to enjoy a nice meal with a family uncle. He loved it here and we have so many nice memories. The staff at this location is quite fun and they are the happiest I've seen in Golden Corrals. The food here also is fresh and usually all nice and warm. If you haven't been to a Golden Corral it is an American-style buffet where you walk around and pick some salad, soup, cooked meats, and different items. At the moment they have these large deep-fried shrimp for dinner and also mini churros that you can have with you to make your sundae. Be creative with your food and this place can just make you have multiple different items mixed and blended well!

Yelp
Golden Corral in Henderson offers a great buffet experience with a wide variety of food options. The quality of the buffet food is good, and there is something for everyone. One of the highlights is the breakfast buffet, which is only available on Saturdays and Sundays from 7:30 am to 10 am. The breakfast selection is delicious and definitely worth trying if you visit during those hours. In terms of pricing, Golden Corral is reasonably priced, making it a good value for the amount and quality of food you get. The customer service is generally good, with friendly staff members attending to your needs. However, during busy times, it can take a bit longer to get refills on your drinks due to the high volume of customers. Overall, Golden Corral in Henderson is a great place to enjoy a buffet meal. With its tasty food options, reasonable pricing, and decent customer service, it is worth a visit, especially if you're a fan of breakfast buffets.

Yelp
My name is Chase Shreeve and i love love love this place ! The yummy in my tummy are the veggies and meat ! I love the ambiance here !!! The best food you can get in vegas made with care ! The service is definitely top notch!! I recommend taking your boss here and your bestie for birthdays or just "because" . Be sure and eat the fish cuz it's really fresh! The desserts are delectable and better than any bakery on the city! Even when I go out of town - I always look for a Golden Corral - It's like home to me- Fun fact ! I think I could be in the world records for how much I go here ! Here's my number if they want to contact me about my favorite items on the menu.

Yelp
I got experimental and made shrimp soft tacos and a pulled pork with coleslaw taco. I like to try new items and the Golden Corral has plenty to mix & match. Next time it's pulled pork on a honey yeast roll.

Yelp
It's a Golden Corral, not much to really write home about. I've been to about 4 Golden Corrals in my lifetime. The last time I went to one was in 2014. So coming here was for nostalgia purposes, to curb my Old Country Buffet itch. Surprisingly, Golden Corral has redesigned and it looks nicer. It's almost on par with a Station Casino buffet in terms of interior design, and the taste of some dishes was better than that of Station Casino buffets'. It's pretty much self-serve and they don't seem to expect a tip which is nice. The steak was good, so I got as many servings as I could before I felt bad for asking the grill master so many times. The okra was pretty good too, just as good as Cracker Barrel's. The weird thing was it was only 7PM and they stopped making cotton candy and the Frosty machine wasn't working. Overall, a good value for the taste. Not great, but good. Would've wished things were more readily available and not broken.

Yelp
This is a late review on the Holiday Meal that my family ordered from here for our Thanksgiving celebration. We ordered the roast meal 3 weeks in advance. The day I picked up the holiday roast meal it was supposed to be ready at 1pm. I was about 45 min early just to see if it was ready early by chance. Upon arrival I was told by an employee that they were putting it together. Cool. I figured it would be done in a few minutes. About 12:45 I checked with the employee and they said they were still putting it together. Umm ok? Waited a few more minutes. It's now 1pm. I checked with employee again to see if it was ready yet and they said once again that they were still putting it together. 1:15pm now. I asked to speak to the manager and was told that the employee was suppose to tell me that the roast wasn't done cooking yet and that it was taking longer than expected. Ok. That would've been nice to know when I was first told that my food was being put together. But that's not what I was told. And that's what I told the manager. All I got was. I apologize for that. That's it. It's already past 1:20pm. Just now getting my food. Got home and started cutting into the roast just to see that it was over cooked and as dry as the dirt outside. It was horrible. Hard to chew. Definitely a waste of time and money. The rolls were cold. The rest of the items were warm and tasted good. But that roast and those rolls were a big disappointment. I can see now why they were $10 cheaper than the Charleston & Lamb location. Take this review into consideration. It'll save you money.

Hope V.

Yelp
The food here is pretty good. It reminds me of Furrs from a long time ago. It gets pretty busy, but the servers are always friendly. I like that there are many options for food and diet types and you can look up ingredients and nutrition if you need to. Their catfish is pretty good. The rolls are the bomb and their bbq chicken is finger lick-in' good. The salads are fresh. And you don't have to go through a smoke infested casino to get a good buffet!

Margret C.

Yelp
Seniors price - 60 years old It was packed and getting more busy. Maybe because there are hardly any more buffets (maybe a dozen casino buffets, and for breakfast, they are over $25 ea). Early bird breakfast: $9.99- 7:30 am- starts I could've eaten more but I didn't want to be sick. I stopped at 2 plates and had ice cream (swirl- choc & vanilla) w/ 2 small cookies (good sampling size). What I had was good, but I ignored a whole food station. I started off with a side salad, w/ blue cheese dressing. I had some large fried shrimp, some popcorn shrimp, baked seasoned fish, and paella (pretty good). I got seconds of the seasoned baked fish, and got a bowl of chicken noodle soup, along with a packet of oyster crackers. Again, I reiterate, what I had was good. Our son liked the food: a side salad w/ ranch dressing, popcorn shrimp, steak, soup, & a brownie sundae. Our son thought the warmed plates were weird, which melted hubby's cookie. Hubby said it's not goumet, a bit pricey. My FIL and his wife love it- they had a birthday promo and they are seniors. I remember liking the other location's breakfast buffet. So, I'd be curious to try this one out too. The other one had a chocolate fondue, not the case here, though. I wanted to try the carrot cake but there are no small plates, just the small handled bowls. (This used to be a book store a while ago.)

Yelp
The entire experience was satan awful! Half of the food containers on the buffet were empty. I had a problem with the guy (black attire) serving the steaks, he was ignorantly rude. I informed a manager (purple shirt) who was walking by of the problem. While she's standing there he started yelling at me and she said absolute nothing and told me there was nothing she could do. Of course I reciprocated because I was hotter than fish grease. I walked back to my table and a different manager approached me (green shirt). I was trying to explain to her what happened and she told me she found that hard to believe. A lady sitting behind me told her that she witnessed the entire incident. This manager told the lady she needs to mind her business. This manager was just as ignorant as the guy serving the steaks. None of them were wearing name tags, so I asked both managers for names and they refused to give them to me. Golden Corral obviously hires anyone, just to fill the positions. Golden Corral would be nothing without its paying customers.

Kevin K.

Yelp
Came here for lunch. The pricing per person was actually surprisingly reasonable. $12 per adult. These days, you can easily spend $12 at a fast food restaurant in just one person. So the ability to choose what you want, and get however much, or little, you want is very much worth the value. That said, the food ranges from just meh, to okay. I've never had anything that rocked my socks off, but also nothing I couldn't swallow. The selection of food was honestly a lot less than I've seen at other Golden Corral locations, so I found myself out of options relatively quickly. That said, it's certainly a decent choice for going out with the family every once and a while

Cindy O.

Yelp
Food is the best. Customer service also the best, that's because of the general manager Amy, in charge of it all .6

Eric P.

Yelp
Last night I was looking for something for dinner that was quick and happened upon Golden Corral. The food was overly salted to the point that you couldn't tell if it had any other flavor, even the spinach and zucchini had too much salt. I wish I took a photo of the zucchini because it was also old. It looked like they placed fresh zucchini on the older stuff and needless to say, I didn't eat it. Service was decent-ish. I came around 7:00 and was heading to an empty area but an employee told me as I was entering that the area was closed. There were no signs indicating that. After I found a place, I noticed a couple other diners entering the closed area, again with no signs indicating that, only for an employee to come and tell them that the area was closed. Paid $22 including drinks for that very underwhelming experience. Overall there are other better restaurants all around and if you need something quick, just go actually the street to McDonalds.

Rachel G.

Yelp
The Golden Corral in Henderson is neat and clean all along their buffet lines with a welcoming atmosphere, especially the servers are helpful and friendly. The food is flavorful, and arranged with a wide variety to pick from. My particular favorite is the herb seasoned fish, but I also really enjoyed the steak and roast beef. Their salad bar is a great starter, and their dessert array has more than enough options to choose from. I would recommend Golden Corral Henderson if you'd like to get value received and a good buffet.

Hannah M.

Yelp
Truly just "meh." Overpriced, overrun with kids, and sub par quality. Came here for some nostalgia with my partner and realized it is a miracle Golden Corral is still in business. It's probably the whopping $18 they charge for a weekend lunch. There are a lot of options, but it's certainly quantity over quality. Everything tastes really salty, really bland, or pre-packaged. The bread is good, but you can get better at Texas Roadhouse easily. The fried chicken is the only thing we liked. I had potato salad, macaroni salad, green beans, cornbread, bourbon chicken, yeast rolls, charro beans, macaroni and cheese, and desserts. The macaroni and cheese was overcooked, beans were salty, cornbread was bland, and macaroni salad was made elsewhere and probably shipped in a bag. All the tables and counters are dated and sticky. This place is like a time capsule to 2002 in a not-great way. The servers all look miserable, and kids yelling is the only ambiance you're going to get. I know a Vegas buffet is $40/person, but it is incredibly more worth it than spending $100 for the whole family for what is essentially glorified cafeteria food.

William R.

Yelp
Clean and reasonable. Food better than most Buffets. Not overly crammed full like most Buffets

Shafqat D.

Yelp
Ambiance here isn't anything special. The sirloin steak line wasn't properly managed, however (and seemed they could use a second cook). The steak was overcooked and dry, and it didn't taste very good. The chicken was also dry, and the vegetables were overcooked. The only thing I really enjoyed was the salad bar. In addition, I got acid reflux from eating their food. That's the big reason why I wouldn't come back. The one great quality of the place was the service. My server was surprisingly attentive. He kept my water glass full and he was always quick to refill my plate. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Anahly I.

Yelp
4/5 stars. The food was surprisingly delicious and cooked very well and the music was poppin! However, we were not waited on very often so we had to ask another waitress from another section so often that she ended up just doing all of the table in booths sections. Pretty disappointed because she was clearly newer than the others and was doing three people jobs the whole time we were there. There were two older women just walking past our dirty plates and other tables plates, followed by gossiping and looking at other people is an unfriendly way. We gave the new girl, Haysani, a tip and left.

Walter H.

Yelp
We haven't been in a Golden Corral Buffet in many years. Decided to take a group of 7 for a Sunday lunch. The workers there were absolutely great. The selection of food was really good. The food was all really well prepared and tasty! From the salad bar to the desert bar and everything in between- we were generally happy with the food. The steaks were cooked properly to our requests. Really happy that we stopped here for lunch.

Cam D.

Yelp
The Food Was Amazing Came In Customer Service Was Great Was Seated Tbe Manager Jamie Came By & Asked Was Everything Okay Asked If We Needed Anything I Try Appreciated That Just Our Overall Dinning Was Great Thank You Jamie Crafts For Your Great Customer Service

Shawna M.

Yelp
Decent location of this buffet chain. It was very busy, and the foods offered were fresh.

Denise D.

Yelp
AMY BEARDEN decided to kick my family and emotional support animal out after charging us and sitting us down knowing we had a pet at the time of purchase. They refused to give me a full refund and she yelled at my party to " quit eating " Unprofessional and rude manner to treat guests

Nutty L.

Yelp
I'm for the homeless. But why would you allow him in to walk around and touch everything. We asked the workers up front and they said all we can do is pray for him. Atleast make him a plate instead of letting him walking around touching everything smh got my refund and I'm out.

Alexis C.

Yelp
For the price you can't go bad, I have a really big family and choose to eat here when we are HUNGRY , the person gathering our plates and giving us refills was amazing , everyone is so nice (except for managers?) questioning how much we want to tip our waiter ? She asked how much was in our party bc she gives only 10s??? why wouldn't you want your waiters to earn a little more? It doesn't make sense to me . Anyways the food is always great and the banana pudding is a DREAM !!

Mr Q.

Yelp
Haven't been to Golden Corral since before the pandemic. Decided to stop by for a solo lunch. This place has really went downhill. A lot of empty pans, food that was out wasn't fresh. Just a disappointment. Needless to say I will not be returning. They really need to get it together.

Daniella C.

Yelp
I've only braved this buffet about 3x in the last 5 years - & only because my 7 year old asks for it. Other than that, it's not worth stopping in, honestly. As a child, I loved Hometown Buffet & when I moved to Vegas, I thought Golden Corral would be comparable, but it really doesn't compare. I try to stick to the "safer" foods here (such as fried chicken, mashed potatoes) etc. but the mashed potatoes aren't even good. I mostly kept refilling my plate w/ rice, bourbon chicken & sautéed mushrooms. I wouldn't dare try the open salad bar or fresh fruit here .. lol. & desserts aren't my thing. Even though I don't care for the food, ambiance or service, my child loves it - so I'm sure I'll be back, against my will.

Misty M.

Yelp
Overall, our experience at this place was fantastic. The cleanliness of the restaurant and the friendly staff made us feel welcome and comfortable. The food was top-notch, especially their fresh and delicious shrimp and steak dishes. We appreciated the variety of options and the focus on quality rather than quantity. And to top it off, the price was unbelievably low for the amazing buffet we had. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Lou R.

Yelp
The variety of tasty items is astronomical for the price. The variety of choices is beyond what it costs to eat at this large and friendly restaurant. Amy was so welcoming and helpful. It made me feel important.

Yajaira G.

Yelp
Went to eat with my family at the restaurant. It was busy but, was lucky enough to be sitting on Daniel side of the seating service. His service was fantastic. I didn't have to wait for any of my drinks and plates were cleared off table without asking even as busy as it was would highly recommend asking for Daniel making sure you sit on his side I know when I come back, I will be.

Yelp
Decided to give this place a try as it has been quite some time since going to a "buffet". It was busy on arrival, a Friday night around 6:30 p.m. The dinner price for adults was around 19 dollars after tax not including a drink, we got water...they also have a kids price available, which includes a drink, for about 9 dollars including tax. The buffet was typical in appearance with various stations to fulfill your dining desires. All of the stations had full trays of food from salads to meats and vegetables to desserts...the fried shrimp were definitely the best item that I ate, nice size and lightly breaded. The salad bar was adequate with the usual offerings, the dressings seemed to have been mixed at some point and although okay in taste, they did not look particularly appealing...the carved ham was okay, not very hot but edible...did not try any steak as I was not thrilled with the look of the cut of meat on display...the vegetables were lukewarm as well...the dessert bar had an ample assortment to choose from to include a soft serve ice cream machine...the service was fine, our drinks were refilled and our empty plates taken away without hesitation...the ambiance is somewhat antiseptic but given that this used to be a "Borders" bookstore several years ago you cannot expect too much...all in all would probably not return again in the future, if you're into quantity over quality then this place could be for you, otherwise try someplace different...ELITE '23

Yelp
This location specifically is hit or miss. We normally come here because my husband likes a salad bar. Unfortunately those are hard to find nowadays. Today the salad bar area was well stocked and clean. However the fried chicken was constantly empty. They could not keep it filled. They would bring out 10 pieces at a time and it was gone before you could get there. It was a good 25-30 minutes until they would bring out more. They were also serving burgers today and they were struggling to keep them stocked. I'm not sure if it was a staffing issue today or what. But if your a buffet, you need to keep it stocked.

Yelp
Went here on a Sunday morning and was pretty disappointed. First thing I would suggest is to give people the ability to get cash back since you cannot tip your server on a credit card here. Which is pretty messed up because the servers are the hardest working people in the building, they also have great attitudes. The reason I'm leaving this review is because soda taste metallic no matter which kind you get.

Yelp
Greetings, This is our 3rd time here at Golden Corral my Son loves the steak here and said the Cook Trevon knows exactly what he's doing. The restaurant is clean and friendly our Host Eric went above & beyond, nice environment I highly recommend this place to eat especially if you have a large group of family & friends. Micheal Lee the Manager was absolutely amazing. Thank You. We will definitely be returning

Yelp
Thanksgiving Day, you would think a buffet like this would help provide a diabetic with some orange juice, BUT nope.. in fact, the management would rather attempt to embarrass you in front of everyone because you took their survey, and they didn't like what you had to say. VERY POOR management. If you didn't want other people's opinions, then don't put surveys on your receipts.

Yelp
I love this place (at the corner of Sunset Rd & Stephanie St in Henderson NV)! Why everyone within a twenty-mile radius isn't eating here is beyond me. The staff is warm, friendly, and professional - how can you ask for more?

Yelp
I've been calling for 5 days and keep getting a message instead of someone answering the phone. It's imperative your customers are able to reach your restaurant. This is unprofessional.

Yelp
It's a decent spot if you're feeding a bunch of kids because they'll get your money's worth for them compared to taking them to a drive-thru. Kids' pricing includes a beverage. Breakfast and dinner are completely different. I feel like breakfast is a little less crazy and I prefer it to dinner. During dinner hours the place is insane, the staff is hustling to bus tables but there's just so much left to do. I agree with the review that talked about the carpets, the carpets make the place look a lot dirtier than it is. Avoid the bathrooms. Don't expect a casino buffet, if that's what you're looking for you're surrounded by a lot of different options that'll fulfill your needs. One star for an okay selection of food and one star for the staff we've interacted with.

Yelp
This place is amazing we love coming here for date night. We always start with a salad, the salad bar is always well stocked and fresh veggies. Today we went for a lunch date and it was still very nice options. I didn't realize there was going to be no steak but it was still good and we still filled up on plenty of food! I also had the fried chicken which is always juicy and fresh, the rolls that are slathered in butter, I almost didn't get a picture of the corn bread with the honey butter because it was that amazing! I also had the sweet potatoes meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy

Yelp
Mediocre. I was a bit turned off when I saw one of the food prep staff snacking on something while behind the food line. It's not a good look for someone that's a food handler.

Yelp
The service is great...but it needs DONUTS. I wanna just go inside of golden corral and eat donuts with a pint of milk and just keep dunking them like i'm shaq in 2000. I wanna put them in the milk so much that it gets too soggy and breaks into little atoms. If they brought donuts i would got bonkers and be a lovely customer

Yelp
Okay. The place is disgusting. Who puts carpet in a buffet especially in the high traffic areas. Beyond the lack of clean the food is just okay not that we had high expectations. Salad was the best area. There are slushes and soft serve for dessert but I was salted out and didn't bother. Catch of the day was fried chicken, that provided some entertaining conversation

Yelp
The guy at the covering station was an asshole waiting there with my dish and my mom's dish gave my mom, then threw the knife in the sink and walked away‍

Yelp
My S.O happens to like this place but I really don't for quite a few reasons. The food is OK, and I have to confess that I really like the fried chicken. The steaks are over marinated and tenderized which is pretty obvious but they can taste OK. My biggest gripe about the place is that it's filthy. The carpet on the floors is usually covered with waste by 6:00 or 7:00 pm when we go. You can't effectively keep it remotely clean with that type of traffic. Hint: don't take a booth as you never know what's lurking. I see folks walking around with electric brooms that wouldn't clean the floors of my home which only has 2 people and a cat. They have "servers" whose job it is to remove your used plates and maybe refill a soda, but they're never around and you practically have to beg one to take a plate and offer a refill let alone try to keep the place remotely clean. Another Hint: stay away from the ice cream machine. Kids love to play with it and make a disgusting mess that is hardly ever cleaned. If you can get over how filthy it is, the food is decent enough but it's expensive for what you get as they use the typical small plates you find at buffets, and let them pile up on your table. They make money on nearly every customer and I'm sure their margins aren't great, but please invest in some more employees and maybe rip up the nasty carpet and replace it with something you can keep clean
