I’ve never been more dissatisfied with a place and their food! Two end pieces for buns. The Greek salad is disgusting, with strawberries and orange slices mixed with old lettuce. The fries are nasty!!! They forgot pita with our hummus, no rice when I asked for rice. It’s honestly gross!! The kabob is legit burnt and chewy.

The food was super delicious! It was authentic and they have quick customer service. A little bit of a language barrier but they are enthusiastic in speaking with you. They have free soup and beverages when you order. Will definitely be going back. Yum yum yum 😋

My wife and I tried this place for the first time about a week ago. The food was good. We each had a lamb kabob, I got a gyro sandwich and two beef samosas, and my wife had the chicken shawarma sandwich. We had only two real complaints. The first, and the more important was that the seasoning on the lamb, while tasty, overpowers the flavor of the lamb itself. We both like lamb, but as far as we could tell, it could have been beef. (I assume it was, in fact, lamb. I just couldn't tell.) Our other issue with this visit was that we placed our order online and were told it would be ready in 20 minutes. However, when we arrived to pick it up, it was apparent that they had not checked their online orders, so we had to wait nearly 15 minutes while they made up our food. Next time I order from here, I will call the order in instead.

I normally go next door to Cairo Cafe, which is great, but I wanted to try something new today. There are sombusas and bur are delicious, as was the chicken and rice dish that I got. Look forward to coming back!

Google
The hummus and pita strips are so tasty...crispy and chewy. Very cosy and relaxed atmosphere. Lots of windows let in great natural lighting. I went during lunch and the whole crowd looked pretty trendy.

Google
This place is AWESOME! Hearty portions of quality food with fragrant herbs and spices. Worth every penny (and so good that cost should not even be considered, within reason, of course)!

I ordered to go for chicken suqaar with sabaayad after long day of work and fasting. The food was probably a day old, dry and tasteless. I was very disappointing. I will not recommend this place.

Google
Wonderful food and atmosphere. I really enjoyed all the food we tried. The sauces are all great and very traditional flavors for Mideast delights. It is worth taking home some of their hummus.

Yelp
Not sure if they treat people of different nationality different, but the gyro meat was hard and gross. I was very disappointed. I have no rating for this place.

Yelp
Honestly it was a weird experience. I had chicken biryani and another person had gyros fries which came with cheddar cheese sauce? We were also given complimentary bananas. Yeah I'm still confused about the whole thing. But the food was good. The food seems to be a mix of Indian, Mediterranean and even some African dishes/traditions. The menu is on 3 tvs which rotate the image so you can't study them for long. I have a feeling there are more dishes that weren't listed. I repeat- this was a weird experience compared to most dining situations here in the US. But yeah we liked the food. The other weird thing is the TVs in the dining room were BLASTING CNN. It was so loud and they were talking all politics. I'm not a super fan of cable news over dinner, but YMMV. We didn't ask them to change it or turn it down.

Yelp
I would definitely come again! This place was a whole in the wall. Service was good, everyone was asking if I needed anything else. The soup was soooooo good!! The biryani was amazing, bets I've had in a while. The hummus and samosa was okay but still good. It was a little hectic and we didn't know how to sit or where to order. But it was so good, I need to come back!

Yelp
I'm still confused about why this place is named Golden Fingers (making a mental note to ask next time) but don't let it deter you from trying this place out! A friend and I needed to go to a theater show nearby & found this place on yelp. The fact that they had a deal for 10% off your first order led us to choose this place over others. We needed to find a place that was also vegetarian-friendly and this place looked like it had a number of options. They sadly had run out of vegetarian nuggets by the time we arrived but my friend got their hummus appetizer, falafel, & vegetarian (potato) samosa. I got their gyro & a meat samosa. All were really good, especially for the price ($7.50 for mine). I recommend asking for their various sauces. I liked the green sauce the best since it had some kick. Overall, had a great experience here. Staff were super friendly & even asked how everything was after we'd been eating for awhile. This place has a neighborhood-favorite kind of feel where the locals go after work or with their families. So join the locals and check this place out especially if you're looking for an affordable but satisfying meal!

Yelp
We ordered the Goat Sport + Fries. It was perfect. My daughter stopped half way through and asked for a box because she wanted to eat it again tomorrow! PS - this place is Halal!

Yelp
A relatively unassuming spot on the corner of Chicago and Franklin, Golden Fingers has become my neighborhood go to. They offer African, Mediterranean, Indian, and fried American foods that are all cooked to order. After trying a few things, the chicken suqqar has become my absolute go to. Perfectly seasoned chicken, yellow rice, grilled peppers, grilled onions, then a small salad on side with lime wedges. I get mine spicy, so they include house made green hot sauce (won't kill you and has quite a bit of flavor). I prefer to mix all of mine together, as the tomatoes and cucumbers from the salad actually compliment the dish quite well. Like most African spots, the meal is served with a banana as well. It's a steal for around $7 at lunch and $10 at dinner. Service is awesome, but depending on how busy it is, it may take a little time. I'd DEFINITELY recommend calling in before hand. Food is all made fresh to order and there's no shortage of hand sanitizer for anyone who needs it. Staff follows all COVID protocols and once they get to know your face, become quite inviting. You are able to dine in now with proper distancing, but it is still counter service. Does Golden Fingers offer five star ambiance? No. It's a corner, neighborhood spot. However, it does give you five star quality food for the price you pay and five star service!

Yelp
I am so so impressed by the portions and quality for price at Golden Fingers! I ordered the Shawarma feast which came in a full sized aluminum server tray and filled to the top with yummy saffron rice, tender meats, and came with two drinks, hummus, and pita! Wow o wow. The quality for the cost is amazing. I also got the gyro fries which were extremely cheesy and also a good portion but not super flavorful. Think philly cheese fries :) the food was extremely freshly made and I ordered for pick up and only had to wait ~5 minutes for the food to finish up. The place itself isn't very well decorated, but I still dig the club lights on the ceiling. Definitely could use some work on keeping the tables and floor cleaned which is why I'm giving it 4 stars, but the food itself is reason enough for me to come back!

Yelp
Best Sambusas in town! Great service! Owner are so nice. If you are ordering for a party I recommend to call a day in advance to place your order.

Yelp
Made 2 orders that I never received and they also took my money and didn't refund it.

Yelp
My favorite is the Gyro with rice. It's delicious and savory full of flavor. Its a big plate so two people can share

Yelp
Went in to get a Gyro and Fries combo. It was easy order for take out. I'm a no salt fry person, but forgot to request no salt. Luckily the cook only used a little. Sandwich was a good size, but I didn't open it until I got home and no cucumber sauce. Next time I will request it on the side. I had some ranch dressing so that worked. Fries were good and crunchy. I just got a can soda since it was a combo. I would try different foods here. The area is always sketchy, but the place looked clean.

Yelp
I had the gyro plate with fries. It was very good, and the cucumber sauce was delicious with an extra kick of spice... spice as in spicy, but still holding the cucumber sauce flavor! The Philly cheese steak was a generous size and very filling, but it had mayo on it and I wasn't a fan of that. I like mayo, but not on my Philly cheese steak.

Yelp
Their food used to be good, don't know what changed may be different cook ? But this time food was horrible too much cheese in the steak sandwich and fries were reheated Overall bad experience

Yelp
Man!! Golden Fingers had me finger licking! I ordered the chicken biryani and it was good! I also ordered a side of shawarma, along w pita and hummus, and they both did the job. I ordered take out, so I can't say what the inside of the establishment looks like, nor can I comment as to if the staff is cordial, but this food slapped(was very pleasing) for a first try. I may have visit.

Steve B.

Yelp
We ordered 2plates and when we got the order one was completely different I called the store and was told they didn't have what I ordered and they decided to replace it with foul chicken that was totally disgusting we didn't receive any sauce that we ordered and a gyro plate had no pita and was also disgusting. I can't believe this place is in business. Nasty nasty nasty. Stay away far away

Yelp
I take my old review back of one star.... they actually did see my yelp review and made it up to me. They took my yelp coupon and apologized and now I can honestly say they are more like friends now! Shocking I know.. but this place really is a classic and worth a shot. Really enjoy my meal and time here. Really REALLY recommend this place for tasty Mediterranean food and good company!

Sarah K.

Yelp
Two stars for the food. Zero for the service. I ordered chicken plate with garlic sauce. No garlic sauce. Yogurt paste on the outside of the chicken was not cooked. No seasoning. Not even salt. Tahini sauce obviously poured straight out of a can. No seasoning at all. Nothing. Hummus same problem. Sent the wrong dessert. Not returning.

Yelp
We walked here from our AirBnB and ordered take-out. It was easy to order and our food was out quite quickly and for a good price! We ordered the chicken shawarma, falafel and a beef samosa. We only wanted the shawarma, not the meal and we're charged for the fries (as a meal)- which were delicious; but we didn't order them and weren't asked to confirm. The falafel was even spicy which we weren't expecting but still tasty. The Shawarma was cooling and delicious (but still a bit spicy, even without the sauce). The food was very good but we weren't expecting the inconspicuous spice/heat. Samosas we're fantastic and I'm sure they know that!

Yelp
Amazing spices and flavor, amazing portions for price points, and lots of variety. I love that there are several types of Sambusa/Samosa. Even the rice is flavorful and you can tell there is care put into making it! Must try, for sure-- especially if you are a known fan of African, Middle East, or Mediterranean foods. Their Beef Shawarma plate reminded me of one of my go-to menu items at Ethiopian restaurants (ZilZil Tibs)-- the flavor was AMAZING. Their Kofta Kebabs are fantastic, hummus amazing, etc. I truly believe there is not a single dish that is made poorly at this restaurant. Golden Fingers is definitely my local go-to at this point.

Yelp
The food was fine. Very good. Not great. But of good value. I had the chicken kabobs, which were better than the chicken shawarma. The portions are very large. The salad was large, but very basic. The styrofoam packaging is out-dated, however the paper straw was thoughtful. Lost one star because I did not receive my drinks. Don't know if it was the driver's fault or the restaurant's. I will say that the Uber Eats App instantly refunded the missing items the moment I reported them missing. The food took about 45 mins from order to delivery. Overall a good experience. I consider three stars average, and this place is a good value, large portions and tasty - with some room for improvement.

Yelp
The was delicious, Authentic, fast and fresh Middle eastern food. I can pop in during my lunch hour and get an incredibly healthy and filling meal for under $7. Excellent gyros & highly recommended.

Yelp
The best exoctic cusine at fast food prices great costumer serivces adds detail to all there food. Prices will probably make u believe that everything is just factorized like McDonald's but dont be fooled this is an amazing spot and a must try

Yelp
I ordered the Philly Steak and it was awesome!! The bread was so so good, very cheesy just like it should be. Girlfriend ordered a gyro and liked it as well

Ravi R.

Yelp
I had Falafal full plate and Chicken Shwarma . The portion is good for two people and they both are amazing. Owner game me pita bread for free and I would definitely visit this restaurant again .

Sarah I.

Yelp
This place was amazing. I really enjoyed this place and the food was great. The service was quick. The food was really authentic and is now my favorite shawarma spot in mpls. I'd highly recommend this restaurant.

Marian I.

Yelp
I would not recommended this restaurant to anyone! First off the place is absolutely horrifying. The paint job, TVs too loud, sticky tables and flies everywhere. I gave the place a chance. The customer service was unhelpful. I told one of the employees I'm vegan and have certain restrictions that are easy to follow. The employee was disrespectful and using a certain tone. I ordered a falafel sandwich without sauce and a side of fries. My sandwich turned out to have a sauce that the employee did not know what it was in it. He also lied about what was in it to persuade it. He did not even asked the cook who made my plate. How disrespectful he was. The fries came in late. He gave us the plate before we left. I would not spend my coins in this fairly new place. I left the place in such kept rage and disgust.

E M.

Yelp
I work nearby and picked up lunch for a group of co-workers. The gyro and falafel sandwiches were good, $5.99 lunch special for sandwich and can of pop. We'll probably get food there again, I'd like to try a plate meal with rice and salad. Friendly staff and place looked clean.
