Favorite Chinese food in the area. Our go-to. Love their beef and broccoli, general tso, wonton soup, egg roles.

If you are Vegetarian or Vegan there are definitely some choices for you here.. Food is made to order and vegetables are always fresh.. Except for their crab sticks which comes frozen-pre packaged; I definitely will not be getting those again. Very rarely do I get the fried fish meal which is always wonderfully made. I usually get their fried fish with vegetable fry rice and it is to die for.. On a regular basis I get their Brocolli in General Tsao' sauce with steamed rice or their Mixed Vegetables in Garlic sauce or sometimes curry sauce with steamed rice.. These are my go to Vegetarian dishes and they're always well made.. Overall this is my go to place for Chinese food and this will not change anytime soon.

The fool is great, the service is very good and if you place an order that waste no time and getting it ready even if it’s a large order!

I usually always order from here but the last couple of times food was spoiled. I even tried ordering early in the day and the food smelled and had a funny taste. Alil while after my stomach was hurting so bad and I was sick. Will not be ordering from here again.

Huge let down this place forgets items and want to request missing items and it’s a huge hassle

This is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants to go to bc they make how i ask and thry always do it right!

I like there prices very affordable for the community, I like there BBQ rib tips with no souce ,make it spicy and well done (they bake it twice) it gives it a charcoal look and flavor to it thank me later lol.

Ordered via DoorDash and the order was 100% accurate. I ordered the wings, wonton egg drop soup and the Singapore special chow mei fun all of which were really tasty with the soup being my favorite. The egg drop broth was phenomenal and the wontons themselves were large. The wings were really good as well and didn't even need any hot sauce. I'll be sure to add this restaurant to my Chinese takeout favorites and order from them again in the near future.

Oh my goodness. Finally I can speak about the HORRIBLY RUDE service at this restaurant. I recently moved to Jamesburg and tried out this place. You couldn't give me enough money to ever go back. The food was fair...but whoever works with customers (im assuming the owner) is NASTY. DONT GO!!! Take the time and go to Monroe Asi

It just wasn't good. So I use to order from this place yeeeeeaars ago , now, maybe my expectation was unrealistic since it HAS been years, but like it didn't have any real taste. It's so hard to find a real GOOD tasty clean Chinese place man, smh. They forgot my veggie fried rice in my order as well!

Best Chinese food in the area. Always pleasant service, although i do miss the old guy (the Uncle or Father), who used to give conversation & jokes. Now everything's behind plexiglass & all about the food/$$$. Food is generally fresh, and made to your liking (which can take longer sometimes, but worth it). Person who said it was greasy - you have to know what to order. I've tried several things: Hot & Sour soup;Ribs & Rib Tips; Lo Mein; Steamed veggies; Egg Foo Yung; fried rice; Fried wings. My general order is Lo Mein & Rib tips, but even their fried wings weren't greasy to me. Think I'll place an order for dinner tonight! Btw I don't think they take credit cards (except maybe for phone orders).

11/23/15 This is one of my top 3 places for Chinese food in the Essex County area. You get service with a smile & the food is always fresh. I love the Mei Fun & those who know me, know that I have them add curry to it; yumm. If you're in the area, give it a try. Bon Appetite The food here is always good. It's in the hood across the street from the hospital & the man taking the orders is always very pleasant. I pass a dozen other Chinese restaurants just to get to this one. I highly recommend the food; my favorite is Garlic Shrimp with Broccoli.

Really greasy food and disappointing that they don't clean the shrimp. The egg roll was so greasy it was inedible. Sucks because the rice and broccoli tasted good.

I figure I post a pic of the menu since I couldn't find one online. (You're welcome) but great place! I work across the street at the hospital so it's pretty close by and I can assure you they are super sanitary and following CDC guidelines for a food establishment. You'll like how you can walk up and order and be on your way to enjoy your food! I'd come again and again and afain

I like this Chinese restaurant. They have good customer service and they cook to order. Only disadvantage is they only accept cash in the store.

The food at Golden Garden is delicious! This is one of my favorite Chinese spots when I'm visiting family or in the area. I have been eating out of this spot for years!

One of my absolute favorite Chinese food restaurants ever. Been going here for 10+ years and have yet to be disappointed in anything that I've ordered. Nice and friendly service along with great food, it's a win win.

Fast delivery, food pretty tasty. Will order from here again for sure. They take orders up to 10:30p which is a plus when you want a late night snack.

The food is not that good and they can definitely improve on their customer service. I will not be ordering from here anymore. I mean why act like I'm bothering you because I called to place an order??

Awful . A year ago they were amazing now idk what happened. I had a terrible experience prior to the one Im about to tell you about but decided to give em another shot. So Yesterday I Ordered the lunch special bbq spare rib tips and some wings on the side. First off let me say as soon as I opened the food it had a bizarre smell. Almost like it was raw but it appeared to be cooked. The rib tips were chewy yet filled with fat. And if you look real close you cannot tell me it didnt resemble the skin of a shaved CAT! The rice tasted of old oil and the chicken wings were practically meatless , tiny and greasy! See now thats when I have an issue.. how can you mess up chicken wings??? Smh. At the very least the wings shoulda been on point but they couldnt even do that right. OH and I took a bite of the egg roll that came with the special and oil ran down my hand. Couldnt have been more disgusted by the experience. I get it, its the hood but that dnt mean u gotta do us like that! Never again pls save yourself.

I visited this place once, and I liked the food. So, I recently called to have food delivered. The food came in a timely manner. BUT....the driver would not get out of the car and bring the food to the door! I had to walk over to his car to get the food. I've NEVER experienced this before. I asked him--twice--why he didn't get out of the car, and he just shook his head. I called the restaurant to report this, and the female who answered said that customers have to walk out to the car to get their orders. Rubbish! I'm not from here; but who knows: maybe he's had a problem before. But I thought that this was QUITE poor, and I'll not order from them again. B/t/w--it was broad daylight on a very busy street. If this is how this restaurant chooses to interact with paying customers in this area, they simply shouldn't do business here. Take someone else's money--not mine.
