Amazing donuts for a great value! I like how you have the ability to fill any donut with the filling of your choice. This allows for customization I don’t often see. Chocolate long Johns are my favorite.

Great donuts! The long John’s are big! If you want filling they can fill any type of donut right when you order. Great variety of donuts including maple iced risen.

The guy working behind the counter was cool, there's a great variety of donuts available and the donuts were also delicious since the kids ate the majority of the dozen that I bought. I definitely recommend this place and I will return

Went in to get donuts this morning during normal hours. Store closed no donuts, nothing. And I hear this happens quite often, they do have great donuts, but you have to work your hours.

Heavenly Deliciousness! They do fill the chocolate or maple long johns and solid rounds with your choice of White Cream, Boston Cream, Raspberry, Lemon, and Chocolate! Apple fritters, bear claws, and cinnamon buns are as big as your face! I also get compliments on how hefty these are at our pre-work meetings, especially the filled donuts. Most of my co-workers can barely eat two at the most. Reasonably priced as well. This place is my new donut stop.

Amazing experience, my 1st time there, and the guy let me have an extra donut i desired, he was very attentive and the donuts are so fairly priced, I like that they fill the jelly/custard/and cream right in front of you, and are very generous with that, and everything else, if I would of had it, I would of tipped the tip jar with a 100$bill, oh and the sizes of the huge delicious bear claws, and cinnamon rolls are huge! Thank you sir I love ur donut shop!! :)

Stop in mid afternoon. Still had a good selection of donuts. They were great. Looked good, in the case, and were very tasty. Got a varity of donuts. We will definitely be returning. Very friendly service.

The donuts were very good and the service was very very good. This is take out only, just a heads up. But it’s definitely worth visiting.

I stopped in here this morning to get a donut which is out of the ordinary for me because I do not really eat sweets or donuts. But I was in the area I was hungry I saw it sitting there said I've never been. Give a shot. I walked in small little place had some cool little designs in there. And I ordered an apple fritter. It was $1.90 I gave them the two dollars to keep the time. The apple fritter was very good I did enjoy it and it was tasty and definitely worth $1.90. I would recommend this place

Phenomenal fresh donuts everyday! More selection than you could even imagine, and everything is insanely cheap. I'd get here early Thursday through Sunday because they will sell out. Donuts, cinnamon rolls, fritters, drinks, and more.

Very fluffy and tasty doughnuts. Did a mix and match dozen and was happy with the flavor on all of them. We showed up at a 130pm on a Thursday and they still had a nice selection. Which is nice as most bakeries seem to only prepare in morning and then shit down once they sell out. Glad the highview area has a new donut option. Hopefully they find much success. Very tasty and would recommend

Great zoswd donuts for an affordable price. They're open till 2p. We got here close to lunch so the donuts were a tad cold but when we heated them up. Omg the best glaze oozed from the fluffy donut dough! I love how the owner makes them and he is actually from San Francisco. Lived there for 20 years. Which hold and behold why the place is called, "Golden Bridge Donuts!" I just love a good Asian made pastry.

This place is an amazing find. I ALWAYS want west coast style donuts. They're bigger and they're better. That's how they do it in Cali and THESE DONUTS ARE IT! I'M TELLIN' YOU! If you haven't been to Golden Gate Donuts yet, GET YOUR BUTT DOWN THERE! It's located off of Smyrna in a small shopping center with plenty of parking. What's nice and convenient is that the Gene Snyder is right there too, just in case you've gotta hop on the freeway to get to work. They open up at 5:30 and are currently not open on Mondays. I came this morning (a Tuesday around 6:30) and they still had a great selection, but foot traffic was consistent. I came in and took a second to glance at the menu- not complicated. It's a donut shop. I ordered an assorted dozen. They come in a surprisingly small box despite how huge the donuts are- but don't worry. They all fit perfectly. I went ahead and got (almost) one of everything they had). They had cake donuts, regular glazed donuts, chocolate glazed, sprinkles, crullers, twists, filled donuts, and donut holes! They also have larger, individually priced donuts in the case on the left hand side. They have cinnamon rolls in there as big as your head- chocolate and regular, HUUUGE bear claws (filled with either cherry or apple), and giant fritters (apple or cherry). They are super cheap, too! I think I paid like $1.50 a piece for the larger donuts. What I also thought was really cool was that the 'filled' donuts weren't actually filled yet and you could choose what you wanted inside. They had at least four different fillings and I didn't see all of them but I did see strawberry and Boston creme. They've also got a case of beverages, as many donut places do! I will DEFINITELY be back. I'd have to say my favorite thing was the chocolate glazed twist. It was soft and the chocolate was rich. I gotta be careful so I don't end up becoming a regular LOL. With the unexpected departure of King Donuts on Preston Hwy, people felt like there was a hole left in the Donut World, no pun intended. Then the Gate's finally open, Golden Gate Donuts that is. So let's get this sweet review started. The service was friendly, fast and first-class. The donuts were deliciously dunk worthy. I noticed some people left looking unfulfilled, mainly because they decided against the many customizable jelly and cream fillings that Golden Gate Donuts offer. So I made sure I got my fill, cream filled Long Johns, yes please. The donut selection is just above average. Golden Gate have all the basic donut, but they also have French Cullers, Giant Bear Claws, Flapjack Sized Apple Fritters. The price point for a dozen of donuts, be it filled, cake or old fashion donuts, is perfectly priced at $8. Cash, credit and coins are all accepted as forms of Currency. With so many neighborhoods close by this place will almost always be packed. Which brings me to my only problem. Parking is perilously puny. So when pulling out be cautious, That's What She Said. If donuts aren't your thing they offer a savory selection of breakfast sammiches.

Very dissapointed in stated hours. I was there at 6:15 this morning & store was closed. I've found this to be the case several times before. Posted hours show's opening at 5:30.....

I've been there couple times and it's usually about noon. Around the time I get off work And get there. They are pretty good doughnuts for the price. I'd like to try the fresh. But all and all I'd keep going back. It's close so that good

Donuts are edible. The donut holes are better than the actual donuts. Prices aren't bad. They are almost never open. Call before you go. I pass every single morning, usually never open Monday or Tuesday (around 06:50 AM)

If you have a craving for delicious, fresh, amazing donuts I highly recommend this place. We used to only get donuts from the big chain restaurant, but we haven't been back there since Golden Gate opened. These are honestly the best donuts we have ever had, and I can officially say we have tried them all.

Found this new donut shop just down the street and decided to get donuts this morning. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality, flavor, and size of the donuts. We will be back again. Thank you!

first time getting donuts from here. not too bad. i bought 3 dozen of mixed donuts for work. some of the employees said not to get the chocolate ones because they taste like finger nail polish remover. other than that they were ok.
