Golden Hour is a gem that you won’t want to miss when you visit Lockhart! There’s a beautiful and eclectic assortment of clothes, jewelry and gifts. Colossus Books in the back offers an incredible selection of unique and rare books as well. Annnd the shop is run by wonderful people - make sure you stop in!

Golden Hour is my favorite stop in downtown Lockhart when I am feeling like searching for delightful treasures. The store is tiny, but there are so many amazing products to discover that you might find yourself spending more time shopping and investigating the nooks and crannies of this beautiful location.

Golden Hour is a treasure. My mom who is a breast cancer survivor and has some insecurities around her chest found a brassiere that made her glow and the owner gave her a deal so she could afford to get a second one. That was almost two years ago and my mom still talks about it. PLUS -> Curated collections, unique pieces, gifts, decor for you home and your body, Amazing deals. Bonus bookstore in the back?! This is such a well curated shop, lots of books on poetry and art, vintage records and clothing, and other curiosities. The owner was very nice as well. Despite the location being on the edge of Lockhart's square/downtown area, this shop is well worth checking out!

How do you truly know you're in a vintage bookstore? The smell! That timeless smell of life and history adorning bound pages of literature and art. Extensive and impressive selection of rare and hard-to-find vintage books. I could get lost for hours within just one of the bookshelves. Not only can you get amazing vintage books here but they also sell vintage women's clothing and accessories along with locally crafted gifts, jewelry, vinyl records, and so much more. The shop isn't that big but they've got lots of goodies. Honestly, I could spend an entire day taking it all in.

At the back of this cute thrift store with wonderful merchandise is a select book and record shop with a large amount of quality fiction and poetry and records, used at great prices. The most unique bookstore in Texas.
