Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant

So happy to see a location closer to me! I noticed them riding through the marketplace and immediately had to try! The location is great; it’s a bit tucked away, there’s plenty of parking, and it’s spacious inside as well. There’s no seating though (I never eat inside anyway so that’s not an issue for me). Customer service is great and pretty quick! Portions are good! The taste is always great! I’ve already been twice in the last week; this will def be my new go to for Jamaican food. Not to mention they have a great variety of food, more than the other golden krust I’ve been to and I’ve been to a few; they also have plenty of vegan options as well! The price difference varies on which one you go to as well. I hope the food quality and customer service remains the same in upcoming years because this is def my new go to for sure! (I do apologize for not uploading food, I was too hungry both times and end up eating majority of it before remembering to take pics lol, I’ll update with photos of meal next time)

I come to this location at least 2/3 times a month and every time I come it’s always so welcoming. Travis is OUTSTANDING with custom service. The ladies that serves the food are amazing and always willing to explain the food that is on display (even though the names are on the front of them). All in all I will continue to come to this location… GREAT JOB TO ALL OF THE EMPLOYEES OF THIS LOCATION 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 10/10

I love Golden Krust! Yesterday, I picked up my jerk tofu order. Today, I reheated the rest of my food in a separate bowl (don’t like microwaving styrofoam) and bit a staple :(

Honestly, I feel insulted. I’d like to start by saying I understand restaurants run out of stuff. That’s normal.HOWEVER restaurants don’t run out of stuff and promote the product at the same price under false pretenses and trick customers into buying the product. I have the bun and cheese multiple times at this location and anywhere else in Jamaica or America and I’ve never gotten this little cheese. Then I I brought it back less then 5 mins later because I literally opened it in my car and walked back in only to be told “ we didn’t have any more cheese” OKAY SO WHY IS IT STILL THE SAME PRICE AND WHY WASNT THAT DISCLOSED? Mhmm well I told them I’d sit all day and wait on the manger because I want it fixed or I want my refund. 10 mins later I was asked if I wanted another piece of cheese mind you I was told 10 mins ago they had no cheese yet they put out bun with half as much cheese. I will say the employees weren’t trashy or insulting they all seemed to understand my frustration. It felt as they were told to do it and just had to follow instruction. I’m so disappointed.

Man LISTEN! The food was phenomenal and so delicious! My 1st time having Ackee and I just want to pack up and move to Jamaica! The young lady serving me was so kind, sweet, and welcoming. Everything was fresh and sooo good. I am sold!!!!!

The food is like the service,terrible. If you want real Jamaican food that tastes good visit the location on Old National. Not only were the employees rude,they spoke disparaging about another customer in-front of customers waiting. The oxtail was chewy,stringy,the rice and peas was ok and the cabbage bland. The prices are also more than other Golden Krust locations. Never again.

I’m not trying to rage the entire place as 2 stars but i am rating the Rasta pasta. And if i could give it a negative star i would. This review is not a reflection of the entire establishment. ONLY THE RASTA PASTA. I don’t know what kind of Rasta pasta this is but it seems like they just put penne noodles and veggies and light sauce. You can’t even taste the sauce at all nor can you see it. I was very disappointed to spend $51 on 2 plates of basically just noodles and veggies. The pasta is dry and flavourless.

I recently dined at Golden Krust and had an amazing experience! The staff is friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. A special shoutout to our server, Princess, who provided exceptional service and made our evening truly enjoyable. The highlight of my meal was the curry goat. It was incredibly flavorful, tender, and cooked to perfection. The spices were just right, and it paired wonderfully with the rice and plantains. If you’re looking for delicious Caribbean food, I highly recommend golden krust. I’ll definitely be back!

This location is a perfect addition!! There was no west indian food in the area. The food is consistently delicious with competitive pricing. The employees are always helpful and pleasant. Stew peas sell off!! The baked goodies are overpriced but everything else is amazing.

Here for this locations grand opening and they have done it up! It is clean... check... food... outstanding! I've had the opportunity to sample a little of each of there best sellers, so I now know what to order next time. The customer service was good, when I walked inside to purchase my ginger beer. I will definitely be coming back.

I was hoping that this establishment would be a good addition to the area's restaurant options. But my first experience was awful and I will not be patronizing them again. I purchased 60 dollars worth of food, jerk chicken, ox tail and curry chicken. The rice was unflavored and tasted as if it was old, the chicken was dried out indicating that it also was not fresh, The oxtails had to be doctored up by my wife but they were not the best. After tasting the food I decided to call and speak with a manager. I was told that no one was available they took my information and stated that they will have someone to call me back. That was obviously to get me off of the phone. I never got a call back and do not expect one at this point. The restaurant will likely fall into the bad food bad service restaurant within a year. Do not waste your money old food never taste good.

Food is great, patty's were delicious but they run out quick. Oxtails were good just pricey.
