The Restaurant Corp and Local Franchisee Owner contacted me in efforts to consider, and address my concerns posted in June.
They were kind, open, willing and earnest about reviewing the missteps noted in the initial review. Accordingly, my family and I tried again, and Golden Krust met, and exceeded our initial experience.
That is good business etiquette and practice, to reach out and offer kind discourse, remedy, and to hear out customer concerns. Hopefully, my review was not upsetting, but a helpful and useful consideration; based on today's experience, I believe that it was, and I recommend and commend Golden Krust. I've attached photos of today's dinners. My parents were pleased and appreciated the standard of customer care offered by Golden Krust.
********Initial Review
Ordered this evening, June 24 2020 through Favor. Placed order for elder parents and myself. Favor messaged that the restaurant did not have anymore jerk chicken wings, as ordered. Restaurant did not have several of the desserts that were listed on their Favor Menu either, when I asked whether the wings could be substituted by a similarly priced dessert.
Before Favor left, restaurant discovers they forgot a piece of the order, so they created a second credit charge slip, to add the one item they missed.
Food is delivered. Two dinners: one chicken and the other goat. Both dinners come with rice and peas, and cabbage. However, my father was cut by one of the goat on bones- they were sharp and small, about one inch in length. So I looked through the food and saw that the gravy on both dinners, was majority bones - shards, sharp pieces. Checked mine, thechicken, and there were a few shards of chicken, three sharp broken drumstick bones, and grizzle. On both dinners, I measured out one table spoon of cabbage, and about four cups of rice, no peas.
Essentially the dinners were bone gravy, white rice, no peas, and a spoon of cabbage.
I'm sorry I do not have a photo, as I discarded the items after checking it over, & did not intend, initially, on writing. Yet hopefully, management will reexamine their operation's quality control and systems for this location. Trying to support the movement and sometimes the best support is an honest review of experience.
