Really nice and smooth ride. The beauty of the sights you see really does feel like the time flies. I highly recommend reseving a seat, and even though all views are breathtaking, may be the right side of the train was of my preference. We traveled from Interlaken to Montreux, approximately 3,5 hours, and it felt like no other train ride before. Definitely a must.

Overall a good experience in the panorama/prestige cabin, with air conditioned cabins, comfortable seats with views but the windows could be a little cleaner. Also the extending foot rest interferes with the passenger if you face each other, and both cannot be fully extended at the same time without hitting one another.. there’s just not enough space between. Also, while onboard the ticket agent said we had to pay another 20 CHF for each seat on top of my already purchased Swiss travel pass and the 49USD for each seat reservation I bought online to have the seat in prestige. It’s really disappointing and so frustrating how the online train ticket booking system is so very difficult and confusing. They really need to make it more user friendly. It should block the booking of the seats if you hadn’t already purchased the upgrade, but it does and it’s wrong. 2nd class cabins are a less expensive great choice with so much less headache trying to get the seats in the panorama cabin, which book out months in advance.

What a fantastic ride. Very soothing for eyes and can’t describe the feeling and the moments we witness. Great value for money. Must try journey in Switzerland.

We loved this scenic train ride The train car was so comfortable for the 3 hour train ride I made a reservation well in advance and then also bought our train tickets Be sure you buy the correct ticket for the 3+ hour train ride. Just stunning views The food looked excellent

I do advice prior purchase of tickets as they do sell out in advance, also purchase any food you would like in advance as well that way when you're sat they immediately serve your goodies! It was overcast, rainy and cloudy but the views were still great! Sitting back in the comfy seats by the window with a hot cappuccino and a charcuterie board is amazing! The staff was excellent!
