Golden Pineapple Villas

Where to start??? It was raining when we arrived. Marlon met us at the car with an umbrella so we did not get wet while walking to reception. Most vacation destinations have a counter that you would walk up to get room keys...etc.. Not here, nice little office with chairs and such to complete these tasks. Then we are walked to our room. Marlon comes inside and shares all of the well thought out amenities that the room has to offer. We unpack, decide to walk down for an appetizer and a drink. The restaurant/lounge area is open for just the 7 villas. They do not serve to the outside public. The attention provided by the staff is 2nd to none! We enjoyed conversations with each member of the staff. Marlon, Pablo, Leo & Jesse made our stay the vacation that every other vacation will be compared to from here on out. Jesse has created an environment where no detail has been overlooked. This is truly an amazing place to spend any amount of time. From the coffee that is made specifically for the resort, to the products in the showers, to the landscaping, to the amenities, to all the public spaces, of course the staff, nothing has been overlooked. The place is spotless! The food was excellent! Even the presentation of each meal is appealing. The view was incredible! From my villa, I could not see another villa. There is truly privacy that you can not get elsewhere. I will be there again, this is a fact! Thank you Golden Pineapple for an unforgettable experience!

My husband and I went after Christmas through a few days after New Year’s Eve. Both of us were blown away by the beautiful sunset villa we stayed in and the unmatched service. During our first breakfast, our waiter asked our coffee preferences so he would know that for the rest of our stay. I felt so special! They communicated to the other staff and got it right without asking the other days. Also, the restaurant staff (specifically two gentlemen) attended to us during our trip. They were professional, cool, had a sense of humor, and really helpful. There was a reservation that another guest couldn’t make so they asked us and it was amazing! So much thought. Also, we met the owner on NYE too and she seemed genuine too. Lastly, the wildlife was amazing. We had a “toucan tree” at our villa and it was something we looked forward to watching everyday! Amazing villas with an amazing view. Don't let the roads scare you away. The food was very well prepared and they had top notch presentation. If you decide to drive please be sure to have a 4 wheel drive. Amazing owners and staff!!! would definitely stay here again!!!

This place is amazing! My wife and I came here for our honeymoon and it was one of the best trips we’ve been on. The service was wonderful, Pablo made sure that our every need was met as soon as possible and was very kind and helpful. The view from our room was spectacular, the room itself was very spacious and had everything we could need. One of the best parts was by far the FOOD! Any time we wanted food to our room we would just text them and they brought it to us right away, and every single meal we ate was delicious. Our only downside of the entire experience was that it is a very rough and long drive to get up to the villas. Thankfully, they have their own taxi service accessible for you to use. Overall we highly recommend pineapple villas and will be sure to try to make it back one day!

The Golden Pineapple Villas were beautiful and luxurious. The views were gorgeous. We even had toucans land right outside our villa. We ate at the restaurant for several breakfasts and dinners, and were always pleased with the delicious food. The chefs prepared flavorful and excellently seasoned dishes. The service there made us feel pampered. Both Marlans and Pablo were exceptional hosts, engaging in lively chats with us, making us feel really comfortable and welcomed. They made reservations for us if we needed and they gave great recommendations for restaurants, activities, and even karaoke. Golden Pineapple Villas gave us royal treatment in every single way. It was a dream vacation!

This place is incredible! Not only are the views spectacular, but our room was spacious, very clean, a very comfortable bed, and everything you’d need in a kitchen including free coffee and creamer. The staff and cleaning crew are all amazing! Marlon was our reliable transportation driver who taught us a lot about his beautiful country and was there for us with everything we needed! Pablo was incredible and made the best drinks! Pablo also recommended some fun local things for us to do and his recommendations didn’t disappoint! Leo was so knowledgeable, kind, and helpful with arranging everything we needed. The staff went above and beyond and made our stay extra special! We will be back!! Please note that you’ll need a 4x4 to get to the property, but so worth it!

My wife and I had an extended getaway here and had an amazing experience! Marlon 1 and Marlon 2 were both so personable and fun to be around. Leonel was awesome and took care of any requests that we had during our stay. Marlon 1 made the drive to and from the airport fun and educational (we attempted to practice our Spanish and he was very patient). Marlon 2 was always at lunch and dinner ready to entertain with his stories and smile. Every meal we had was delicious and you felt like you had your own personal chef.|Incredible views, quiet and secluded but with a town just down the (steep) hill for additional dining options and excursions. The horseback ride to the waterfall was one of the highlights of the trip. The snorkel trip to the island was a fun adventure as well.|It really was a wonderful experience and I can't say enough good things about the Villas and the staff!

I would stay here forever if I could afford it. The rooms were amazing and the view of the whale tale from our pool was unbelievable. The service is the best we have ever experienced. Both Marlins took care of any request with a smile. The food was wonderful. We really loved the breakfast with fresh fruit and the banana bread french toast was our favorite. Very expensive place to stay but a very nice treat.
