I ordered progressive lenses here, expecting them to help me see both near and far clearly. Unfortunately, they turned out to be a complete disappointment. Every time I tried to read, my vision was blurry and uncomfortable. I constantly had to push the glasses up with my hand just to make out the words. It was frustrating and exhausting. Eventually, I gave up wearing them altogether — they were completely useless. I feel like I wasted my money on something that doesn’t work at all. This experience was extremely disappointing and unacceptable.

We're long time patients of Dr. Michelle Wu's and have always been really happy with her care. She is highly capable and has helped me with my challenging visual issues so that I can continue to perform my work requiring great visual acuity. Her office staff is wonderful & friendly. They go out of their way to help the patients. Their prices are competitive - my contact lenses cost about the same as the online vendors. I always prefer to support our local businesses. Highly recommended.

Although the place is under new management, May and Dr. Michelle Wu consistently provided excellent service. They are the only reasons our family and friends still go there. Unlike other associates, May always takes time and extra steps to help us.

Love all the safety precautions that the staff are taking to keep everyone safe during the pandemic, from temperature checking to limiting the number of people with appointments. I’ve long been a patient with Dr. Tsai, and I love her attention to detail and accuracy. Tiffany and the rest of the staff are very sweet and eager to help and really make an effort to take care of of their clients. Thank you to everyone there!

The doctors and staff are all very kind. I'm on my second year of ortho-k which has really helped with maintaining my eyes.

My whole family has been under Dr. Wu’s care since 2017. Dr. Wu and her assistant, Ms. May are professional and caring. We have very positive experience at the clinic.

Worst time management. Got an appointment and they keep us waiting for more than an hour. If they can't honor time, they shouldn't even book appointment in the first place. They should also realize that we also have other commitments and schedules in the day.

Dr was great with a friendly staff BUT pricing .... RIP OFF!! I bought a pair of Christian Dior sunglasses marked at their price of 490.00 she said she would take 10% off plus no sales tax total was $441.00 . As I was leaving i thought it seemed a little high, sure enough on the Dior website , Norman's and Nordstrom's all had the same sunglasses at $350.00 !!!! No wonder they said all sales final !!!!

Just switched eye doctors to golden and I really like my experience here. Tiffany is always cheerful every time I come in and thoroughly explained ortho-k with Dr. Tsai. Both are super helpful and attentive, making sure the contacts are working properly and providing feedback. My vision has remained 20/20 ever since switching to golden.

My daughter's nearsighted makes me very worried. I took her to Golden Envision Optometry to stop them increasing too fast. She started to use Ortho-K, it's a night time hard eye contact lenses for maintaining and improving the vision. She did pretty well and right now she changed to daily disposable soft contact lenses since she was high school. It's more convenient and helps her at least keep her nearsightedness under check. The staff are all very nice. You can reach out to Tiffany for help.

I have been an ortho-K patient here for 4 years now and have nothing but good things to say about this place. The staff/doctors are extremely helpful and the pricing for ortho-K is good. I find the convenience of Ortho-K amazing and not having to deal with glasses. Highly recommend

Do not come here for ortho-K. I cannot speak for the optometrist because I had a horrible experience with the receptionist. This office only cares about money. I have been in an existing program for many years and wanted to transition to a new provider in the area. I called to ask for a consultation and the receptionist was extremely unhelpful. She insisted that I would have to start over as a new patient and refit my lenses for $1500. I have seen optometrists in other cities who had no issues evaluating me in my existing program but this office provided me with a list of reasons to justify their pricing. I was surprised at how quickly the receptionist tried to enroll me in a new program without even asking me about my history, needs, or verifying my existing provider. What should have been a simple phone call quickly escalated into an argument because the receptionist kept giving me the run-around and coming up with new excuses. The final straw was when she asked me for my insurance information because I must schedule an eye exam in order to receive a consultation

My family's been coming here for years. Even now when I moved out of LA, I still come back here for my annual eye exams. They're very thorough and their optometrists are very nice and answers all our questions and gives us great recommendations to our eyes healthy. They're also very transparent about pricing when we pick glasses and will let us know how much out of pocket we would have to pay if we added certain features or picked a nicer frame. They also have an extra exam where they take pictures of your eyes and they let you know there's an extra fee if you would like to do that test. Dr. Truong helped us on our most recent visit and she was very thorough. We usually try not to pick frames over what insurance covers and they have a great selection here. They have mandarin and Cantonese speaking staff here. This is in a plaza full of restaurants and bakeries with plenty of parking.

I had my prescription for my glasses and contacts here, and the overall experience was really good! Tiffany went out of her way to help me and my daughter with our vision checks and payments. Highly recommended!

I have come here for the last few years, and each time the service seems to have deteriorated. The doctor I used to see is no longer here. Instead, I get a plumpy intern optometrist who is frankly not very competent, as expected, but worse, she is curt and impatient. While switching out one lense for another to determine your vision, she hems and hews if you ask to see one lense again. I have never had this experience with any optometrist, because they want to get this right. This one seems just to want you to leave so she can go back to her phone. After a few more frustrating back and forths, I go to choose my glasses, and find that their extremely limited selection do not have any glasses I want. They said to take my prescription and go to the San Gabriel office where they have a larger selection. The service was horrifying. I will never return to this office again.

My daughter and son have been coming here ever since she was little. Tiffany, the front desk lady has also been helpful all these years she has been here. They have been coming here for 9 years, they have excellent service and have helped my kids' prescription to. My daughter has worn hard contacts for 9 years, and my son has worn hard contacts for 2 years and then transitioned to wear soft contacts for 2 more years of daily use. I'm very satisfied and highly recommend this business, it's very worth it for the money. Not only do they have a variety of glasses to choose from, but they also have professional optometrists that make sure your vision is as good as can be. Be sure to check out this place!

Dr. Jay Jiang, May and Tracy all truly awesome staff of this location. I am a customer of Golden at their Irvine location. I went to this Arcadia store wanted to buy some contact lenses for emergency use - I lost one of my lens on that day. They were kind and courteous. They first verified I have prescription in place, and saw I just purchased a bunch contact lenses recently. They ended up giving me a few samples for FREE! It really shows how they care about people in the community not only the profits. I always had great experience with Golden and has been a customer for years. The Arcadia team just "wowed" me once again. Best wishes to you all!

I've been coming here for as long as I can remember and I've always had a good experience! The office kept very clean and there's enough space for guests to sit. Tiffany at the front desk does an amazing job! I love how confidently she switches between languages when speaking with me and my parents. She does an excellent job explaining and always does her best to help us out! I've been seeing Dr. Tsai for years and she is very patient and knowledgeable. She explains things as she goes and always puts my mind at ease. All of the staff here are so helpful and do an amazing job!

Great optometry place. I've been a reoccurring patient for the last few years for good reason. Doctor Truong is very kind and easy to work with. She answered all my questions patiently and the exam was a good experience. Tiffany at the front desk is also very kind and knowledgeable. She was quick to answer my insurance questions and provided accurate costs for my visit. They have many options for eyewear. Please make an appointment in advance and they do require masks to enter. It's part of a larger plaza with a supermarket, Chinese restaurants, and yogurtland so plenty of parking.

I've been going to these optometrists for over a decade! Have loved my care with Dr. Tsai, and would absolutely recommend. Tiffany and the rest of the managerial, front desk, and nursing staff is incredibly accommodating.

We were super hesitant on trying Ortho K for our 3 kids but it's been such a life changer. At first we struggled to even put the lens in for our kids but the office staff were not only patient and kind, they made the kids feel super comfortable to try. Dr. Tijo and Dr. Leung were energetic and patient with the kids which made it easier. All three kids are active in taekwando, soccer, ballet, dance and basketball. They also love swimming so the ability to be liberated from wearing glasses for all those activities was incredible. I would recommend ortho k and Golden anyday!

First time coming to an eye doctor post pandemic, so I made sure I was the first patient of the day and I appreciated their safety protocols. I used to go to their other branch in San Gabriel but I felt like I was just a number there, and it's also crowded so I'm glad I found out about this location. Plus, it's actually a shorter commute for me to come here. Staff and doctor was very nice and professional.

I called to make an appointment at which the person who picked up was incredibly rude. I was immediately interrogated whether I was calling regarding the Arcadia or San Gabriel location. Once I confirmed, I was looking for the Arcadia location, the person who picked up was incredibly rude regarding scheduling. I asked if I could have a moment to look at my schedule to pick an appropriate date. They responded by saying I should look elsewhere. I've never had a business tell me to look elsewhere for appointments. Very poor customer service. I am very disappointed as I have been coming here for years.

I've been going here for about 10 years and been using Ortho K for 10 years. Ortho K is very easy to use and I love using them. I use them at night and wake up with perfect vision. It was really easy to make an appointment and I came in on the same day I made the appointment. Tiffany and Dr. Tsai were very welcoming and they made everything easy to understand. I would highly recommend coming to this place.

Started coming here during 2018 and wanted to start an Ortho-K prescription. I've always been greeted with enthusiasm and kindness, the staff, especially Tiffany, have always been extremely helpful with any questions or concerns. As a repeat customer for the past 6 years, I've always had an enjoyable experience with the team. From Dr. Wu to Dr. Tjoe and the staff, I always feel welcomed. Many times I've had to reschedule which was extremely easy and they were very accommodating to my schedule. Ever since I started using Golden Envisions' Ortho-K lenses, my life has changed drastically. In the past needing to wear glasses and dealing with the annoyance of increasingly bad vision to keeping my vision stagnant and consistent with the Ortho-K night contacts. Wearing the Ortho-K lenses has been enjoyable, easy, and highly recommendable to those who may be annoyed of glasses or daily contacts. Of course, Golden Envision also carries a big range of glasses and daily contacts for everyday use as they cater to a big audience. All in all, Golden Envision has been the go-to spot for myself throughout the years and have always had an enjoyable time with the staff and doctors. Making the shift to Ortho-K has made my life much easier as during the day I can see perfectly fine without any assistance, only needing to wear the Ortho-K contacts throughout the night. This place deserves 6 stars!

I've been coming here for many years now (even before they moved to Arcadia), and I've always been satisfied with the care here. Dr. Tsai is very patient and helpful in explaining everything, from eye care to taking care of hard contacts and the LASIK procedure. Tiffany, the manager, is also very professional and on top of all of the appointments. Hopefully you never have the eye problems I had, but if you do, you can't go wrong coming here!

I have been going to place for at least 10 years now and I must say this place is wonderful! The service here is incredible! Dr. Wu is a very patient and kind person that will explain your condition very well. The front desk lady, Tiffany, is professional and would answer any questions you have. I have been wearing ortho-k lenses for 5 years now and my vision is stable and getting better and it is very convenient. Dr. Tsai is the only person I trust with my contacts, and she's always honest and upfront and what I need! I started Ortho-K 7+ years ago and it's been super great and made my everyday life easier.

I agree with reviews on the office staff and illegal billing practices. They are not transparent on their charges and always tried to disregard my concerns about all the charges that was filed to my insurance. Even when they collect more than needed because the insurance covers more than anticipated, they drag their feet on reimbursement. I have filed complaints with the medical board of California and Consumer Affairs in addition to VSP so they can investigate this practice

Always a great experience here! Tiffany and Annie at the front desk are super helpful, and Dr. Wu is efficient and always does a great job. On the rare occasion I do have some issue with my contacts, the problems are always addressed and resolved quickly. I've been a regular at this place for many years now, and I must say that the service here is fantastic! Dr. Leung, Tiffany, and the rest of the staff are always very helpful, courteous, and kind. I have never had any complaints or issues with my contact lenses, and I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs new contact lenses or glasses.

The doctor and staff here are very nice. My son began to use ortho-k two months ago, his vision has improved a lot and he doesn't need to wear regular glasses at daytime. The doctor's examination is also very professional.

I have been with this optometrist ever since I was in middle school. I started with Ortho K which is the hard contacts you put in overnight and take out in the morning to correct and preserve your vision. The checkups were always timely and staff is very nice and professional. Every doctor here is very knowledgeable and patient and I always leave feeling relieved. They recently helped me get through laser eye surgery which usually is a very nerve-wracking procedure but I always felt safe in their hands. I've known Tiffany here for years too and she's treats me like a close friend every time I come, always very good at communicating and always very professional. I highly recommend this eye doctor!!

My brother and I use to have a lot of trouble with our eyes and was never able to find the right eye docter until we found Golden Envision. The staff here is beyond so nice, welcoming, and of course so helpful. Mrs. Tiffany, is one of the most understanding and most patient person ever, I am always looking forward to seeing her at my appointments knowing that she will always help me and accomplish whatever I need. They really take time with each of their patients whether they very busy. Every staff here looks at every patient closley fulfilling every need a patient has. I 100% percent recommend this place and I have been a member here for over five years, my brother has been using OthroKare lenses and his eyesight has been very stable every since for five years!

Avoid this place like the plague! Went here twice to get an estimate for replacement lenses and was told to come back another time on both occasions. Its ironic that they have a sign outside indicating walk-ins are welcome. Would give a negative rating if I could.

Come here to look for new sun glasses with prescription and annual vision check. Dr. Eric Leung checked our vision with detailed explanations and professionalism. The manager lady is so considerate with our purchase and appointments. Staff is knowledgeable with curtesy. Not the first Golden I went, but here is definitely over my expectation. High safety caution for pandemic, safe to go look for vision services all times.

Dr Tsai is thorough and nice but her office manager, the old skinny lady pushy and has no integrity. She pushes for services and is vague about the charges before service. She fist told me that my eye exam copay is $15 on the phone. Then when I went in, she then told me I need to pay $39 extra copy for eye exam and another $15 for the contact lens prescriptions. After my exam, then she told me my contact lens exam has a mandatory fitting that is another $59 extra, which I told her in the first place, I only need to check if my current contact lens prescription is okay. I felt I was being tricked and pushed to pay for services I was not intend for. I paid whatever she asked cuz I don't want to ruin my day for some small money but I will never come back to this place again unless Dr Wu changes a more professional office manager. This is not the way to do business, especially you rely on customer return business.

So Years ago I went to their store at SAN Gabriel and had a lasik surgery and I was very happy with the service. The store at Arcadia opened a couple of years ago  and I have been going there since then as the person that serviced me transferred to that location and also It is closer to my home. I am very pleased with the service there as well. The people are very professional and helpful. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and relatives!

Appointment is easy, you can either call or book online. The center will remind you a week and a day before the appointment by text. I have been seeing Dr. Faye Tsai for years. She is very patience, detailed oriented and professional. She takes time to answer all my questions. Tiffany, she has the best customer services. It was a busy day and she is very professional and apologized for long wait. She is super nice and patience. She remembers her customers well. I would highly recommend this place to my friends.

Golden Envision is the embodiment of professionalism and attentive care. The receptionist Tiffany is always on top of it no matter how busy they are. Additionally, everyone here is multilingual in English, Chinese, and Cantonese. I have been with Dr. Tsai for more than 8 years. Normally I'm a customer of the San Gabriel Golden Vision store but found out about the Arcadia store I went ahead to give it a try. I was well received by Marilyn and Tiffany, and their customer services were excellent. I wind up buying a pair of designer eye glasses and am very happy with the way the entire transaction went. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a pair of glasses!

It's that time of the year. The anxiety started rising slowly a week prior to appointment time. Ever since I had Lasik corrections, I grew increasingly concerned about cataracts-- you know, the myth about not able to have lens replaced after Lasik. Also, I was perfected corrected to 20/20, and the down side of having a 20/20, yes there is a down side, and that is I might develop farsight earlier than most people. No one, I meant no one, wants to wear reading glasses, or extend the wrist and elbow to read small print. Back to the eyecare center, it is small, cozy, clean, with very friendly and helpful staff. It's easy to make appointments. I was on time, as always, the doctor was on time, I was in and out within 20 minutes. Quick and easy. She was very patient with me, with my 2 million questions. She spent a good deal of time checking my healing scar from the Lasik, and woola, all is good. We laughed at my silliness, and moved on with our day. They made it easy breezy! I would recommend this optometrist.
