I uploaded these two pics as a comparison. 6 months ago the food was delicious and great. Now the general tsos chicken is all bread and no chicken. They cheapened their food and expect you to pay more. It’s sad bc this was only Chinese place I trusted not anymore. Would rate this place 0 if I could.

I’ve eaten here a few times as it’s down the road from my work. Decent food. Had the fried pork dumplings and the Won Ton soup. Only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is the pricing. I think it’s a little bit expensive compared to other Chinese food restaurants and also the pricing on a the actual menu is higher then what’s listed virtually everywhere on the internet.

Just tried to place an order for delivery the person taking my order was rude possibly because she doesn't understand the English language and got very frustrated with me not what you're looking for when you want to order food!!! It is really too bad also I've always had very good experiences here this time was very bad please do not order from here!!!!!!!!!! P S the order would have been chicken wings pint of chicken rice soup and special combination platter twice cooked pork with egg roll and pork fried rice too bad for you!!!!

This place used to be good but no it's not. Almost $30 for 2 small combo's and you don't even get a free soda or anything. The lady at the register I'm guessing the owner wife has a very nasty attitude. The food isn't that good anymore for them to be charging that much or be talking nasty to customers!!

I'm not sure what happened over the past couple of years, but they went downhill. The food is either very dry and overcooked or super greasy. The portions are not consistent, meaning one day the container is half full and another can be super packed. The service went downhill as well. They used to be so nice, and now it's basically attitudes.

Never had a problem with them. They may seem rude at times, but after working in the food/retail business, I can understand. Only once have I ever had an attitude. Great food! Quick service. UPDATE TIME: Keeping the original review so everyone can see the differences. The owners and staff are very kind! Food is the same as before. It's still very good. Honestly, I feel like they have improved a TON! My only issue is that the garlic chicken doesn't taste the same. Idk what it is. I can't tell what they changed in the recipe. It is still delicious, but I just miss the old taste. I can vouche for the following: Chicken Wings Pork and Chicken Fried Rice White Rice Chicken Fingers Garlic Chicken Fries Donuts Crab Rangoon Egg All in all, kudos to the owners for doing well. I hope the restaurant sticks around for a long time.

Worst experience ever! Ordered my food and paid with my debit card. When the owner/delivery driver arrived. He didn’t want to hand over the food, because he thought it wasn’t paid for. I explained to him, and he went to check with his wife, who confirmed. Instead of giving me my order, he then demanded I show him my bank card. I refused and showed him the amount withdrawn in my banking app. He then said, “ next time he will not deliver to my home if I use my bank card.” He was so rude and arrogant. Then to add insult to injury the food was not good.

If I could give this business more than 5 stars, I would. I'm originally from New York State, and I knew nothing about Connecticut or their food when I moved to Waterbury. This Chinese restaurant was one of the first places I've tried. And it is the only venue I will willingly drive across the state to, after moving farther away from Waterbury recently. They have fair prices, their food is always hot, and they're quick. Their employees are polite and friendly. We always chat with one of the younger individuals there. They are personable and professional. My boyfriend and I always appreciate their business, and were very glad to see them survive through the pandemic shutdown. I was personally going through withdrawal without their coconut shrimp..! Haha The negative reviews I see sound ignorant. We have ordered from this establishment countless times. Both takeout and pickup.. As well as sit in when I had lived locally.. Never had a single issue. If you're ever looking for a new takeout venue, check them out.

Four stars just because they're a little more expensive than other Chinese take out. The food is though, 5 stars! Very yummy, and fresh.

It was my first time eating here. The food was terrible. It got the whole family sick. The rice had to much oil that it was wet, but not only that it wasn't cook all the way. OMG i was sick for a day and just thinking about it, makes me sick. I dont understand how they get away by selling shitty food. Disgusting. I had eating for many reatautant before this is the worst. They should not sell food like that. I also got a wan-tang soup and the broth tasted like oil. . Never again. Plus with this experience made me give up chinese food for a long time.

Delicious Chinese food around here.fried dumplings and boneless ribs is my favorite.chicken wings is crispy. Shrimp lo Mein tastes very good. General Tao chicken is sweet

Worst chkn fried rice ever someone should complain to food authorities as I don't know where I can complain. Was sick from last 3 days as I ate that food still my stomach upset. Chkn fried rice taste like // crow dried rice\\ This place must be inspected by authorities. They just want there money first as you pay they look at you as devil. If someone know the food authority complain number plz reply me

always correct order. alwas ready for takeout. very polite. always asked about sauces to include. verygood food and fair prics.

I really wanted to like it and tip the scales in their favor with a 5/5 review but I just couldn't. Fried Rice had a burnt sorta bitter after taste. Not as soft as I like it too. Service was decent. Not like rude or anything to me or other customers I've seen walk in at least. Place did look okay but that's not why you get takeout. It was meh, but not terrible.

The lady at the counter is rude and incompetent. she either doesn't listen or doesn't care, gets the order wrong, then is skimpy with the condements, sometimes not even a fortune cookie! God forbid you ask, she asks what you need it for! seriously! the young guy is ok, guess it's family owned with the crabby mama at the front. used to be great years ago.

Ordered the boneless ribs and teriyaki chicken both were very good service was quick would definitely recommend trying for quick take out

ok chinese food standard menu seems to do well with take out recommend if you want chinese take out restaurant seating is not open

Very rude after messing up my order, the driver offers to go and retrieve the rest of the order and the guy on the phone refused to accept the mistake and specifically told me after I charge you I'll send out the order. So after my 2nd order with this location I will be ordering from another restaurant!

This is our first time ordering from this restaurant. We ordered from a hospital and placed a $130 order. I would NEVER recommend to order from this restaurant. The customer service is terrible. They individually charged each order (even though the entire order was paid for in cash) a $1.25 delivery fee (that's 9 individual charges). On the menu, not once does it mention a delivery charge. I wouldn't mind being charged a fee, just not 9 separate times. Along with forgetting some of the condiments for order which they would not come back to deliver, and when questioned, started yelling back through the phone that it is not their problem and their other regular customers know the deal. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant or future orders. Very unprofessional

Ordered shrimp and broccoli with white rice. Shrimp and broccoli was full of grease like they added 4 tablespoons of extra oil. Picked up my food guy had an attitude like a child without a bottle. Got home no fork no napkins no fortune cookie no nothing but food. I've seen it all and if they had better customer service wouldn't be so bad but there too boujie

I used to order from this place wen I lived on Wolcott Rd. Now I live on Meriden rd and they refuse to redeliver to where I live. That's kinda bogus if u ask me I live 2.2 miles away.. foods not that great either time to look for a new place.

Hidden gem. Been coming here for years and it's my go to Chinese place. You'd be cray to pass this one up!

Delicious, Huge portions, comparable prices. Love the Chow Mae Fun, my favorite dish. Chicken Broccoli with Garlic sauce and shrimp fried rice with larger size shrimp were scrumptious.

Very good food not greasy at all. I got steamed wantons and egg roll. Egg rolls are the big ones not the small ones. I'll eat here again.
