We stopped by after hanging out at a bar, and if you’re craving something greasy, guilty, and satisfying — this is the spot. Perfect place to treat yourself and get your hands a little messy. The vibe is laid-back and just right for a late-evening bite.

This place really lives up to the hype – and it’s not just hype. The burgers are genuinely excellent. I first came here years ago when they only had chicken on the menu. Back then the food was already good, and as an Asian guy who’s eaten a lot of fried chicken in his life, I can say their chicken is solid – not the best I’ve ever had, but definitely good. The burgers though… that’s a different story. They’re absolutely worth coming back for. Whenever I’m in Berlin, I try to make a stop here. Food is prepared fast, prices are fair (let’s be honest, in this day and age nothing is really “cheap” anymore), and most importantly – it’s delicious.

The burger is good but super small, the fried chicken is very dark, you can smell and taste the burned oil, not only our order but was like that for everyone around us. We could not eat the chicken at all. The prices are high compared to other fast-food restaurants which offer much higher quality. It’s a waste of money. May be they make it like that on purpose since the slogan is “best bad food in Berlin”. For me I wouldn’t go back again.

Where did the goldies magic go? I came craving those iconic dirty fries—once some of the best in Berlin. What a disappointment it was to see only truffle fries and chili cheese fries on the menu now. The best quality-to-price garlic fries? Gone. Still, we gave it a shot. Then came the fries. There’s no more homemade magic—just standard-issue frozen golden longs you’ll find anywhere. Smaller portions too (price reasons, I get it). At this point, Burgermeister’s got the better fries. Weird decision to drop your unique concept and turn it into another random burger joint with no personality. The burgers were solid. But this isn’t the place I used to hype to friends. Mind blowing fried chicken and delicately balanced gourmet fries. I have been here twice already and can't get enough of it. The prices are more or less reasonable in comparison to the quality and portion of the food. The service is more or less quick and I'm looking forward to my next visit.

It’s a nice burger joint. I got the chilli chicken burger. The sauce was a bit too tangy for my taste and not ‘chilli’ but the chicken was done really well. It was juicy and crispy and the bun was fresh. Neat looking place. I’ll be visiting them more often, definitely

Last year I was here it was really delicious. I discovered goldies on the YouTube channel named "My Name Is Andong". Today me and my friend went there. The disappointment hit when my friend got a bit moist fries with simple may and beetroots on top. I mean it's vegan, but putting beetroots and mayonnaise on fries shouldn't be a dish in the first place. I would rather give vegan a beef loaded fries than this crap. But that's just my opinion. Oh and also 9 EUROS, hear me out... 9 euros for beetroot, mayo and fries... Pathetic in my opinion. My loaded fries. Eehhh... With duck, that was a bit salty, but otherwise tender and delicious. Fries were again moist, and just a bit crispy. And everything buried in different mayonnaise. Like half a cup of mayonnaise. So after 5 minutes of eating the fries, they got moist and soggy. and then The Slaw was just simple sauerkraut with sugar... For 4.50. and the store bought ones are probably better. Service: nothing special. Atmosphere: yellow lights and simple interior, again nothing special I mean for that price point i would at least expect something at least two steps better.

The fries here are good. Not the best I've ever had, but they were fresh and hot. I wasn't really into the vegan combo options, so I just got a large order of fries with two sauces: peanut and chipotle chili. I didn't have high expectations for the chipotle chili, but it was mega good. The peanut didn't really work with regular fries, though I could see how it'd be good with other ingredients/toppings. My kid loved it though and mostly just ate that on its own. Prices are OK. Not great, but acceptable. The inside decor is cool, and there are tables outside as well.

I felt a little ridiculous going to a french fry place in Berlin, but it was so good. We got the truffle fries, which come absolutely smothered in huge slices of truffles and sauce and cheese, with ketchup on the side. We also got the green chili fried chicken, which could go to bat with some of the best Korean fried chicken I've had in the bay area. We ordered a large fries to split, plus the chicken, based on the fact that everyone seemed to be getting a large fries just for themselves, and it ended up being way too much food, but everything was delicious.

I love this place. Belgian fries with toppings from all over the world how can you go wrong. This is my favorite fast food joint in Berlin. The staff is super friendly by German standards. And the food is always crispy fresh. I wish I could give more stars.

Goldies is run by two guys who probably dream of French Fries. They are so passionate about the French Fries they make -- their eyes light up when you ask them about the ingredients or different combinations that they offer. This place is like a French Fries "Library" that offers many different toppings or sauces for your fries. It's mostly gluten free, and there are some vegan options. There's only one downside: you will be hooked. It's also really hard to order another flavour once you find one that you like. For me, it's hard to cheat on the Truffle Mayo. But on occasion, I have done it anyway with Miso Furikake (plus Kimchi) or Peanut Butter.

Overpriced frozen fries with something on top. For a place that as main thing focus in fried potatoes is really disappointing to find out that they use frozen potatoes, specially in Berlin, where many burger places cut and fry their own potatoes, and not talking about organic / bio (which could be a great thing to expect from a place like this). Staff is friendly, place is nicely decorated but still a bit cold. Service is reaaaally slow for what it is... Fry some potatoes and put something on top should not take more than 5 min. Or 10 max. I think we waited around 15 min and it was not even crowded. So all that and paying 7 euros for a plate of potatoes... I would expected something far better. I don't think I will be back...

These guys know their fries!! Shit is legit. Very good cooks that love doin what they makin. Me and a friend had the chilli cheese, ellsaiser art, berliner eisbein and the peking duck...was a feast. The eisbein is the winner have to say. Best fries i had in town, woot woot

good chips with a great choice of sauces. i ordered the roastbeef menu. it had some sort of beef on it which was clearly not roasted. i'll be back, truffles look very nice, will try those next
