You can't go wrong with this established neighborhood brewery. The beers and seltzers were consistently good, and speaking with the owner clearly demonstrated her deep understanding of the brewing industry. A food truck is typically available, though not on the day we visited. Their beer selection leans towards a well-chosen variety rather than a large quantity.

I’ve been coming to Goldspot since it opened almost a decade ago. I especially love coming to trivia on Thursdays. The patio is fantastic in the summer (and heated when it’s colder). They constantly have an awesome number of rotating events and celebrations and a huge Pride celebration. Goldspot also hosts fairs where they invite other vendors and that is fun, too. Goldspot is woman and queer owned and queer inclusive; everyone I’ve ever brought here has loved it. If you haven’t had the chance to check this place out you are missing out!

Google
The bartenders here are AWESOME! They are super responsive and were willing to answer all our questions and offer samples of their delicious beers. I would highly recommend coming here and trying it.

Can't believe I have missed this little jewel of a place for 10 years!

Google
100% love this place as a local brewery. Beer-tenders are always great and the head brewer is amazingly knowledgeable about the inner-workings of the process, especially with the rotating small batches.

Google
Had the best night at Goldspot brewing! Tried 7 of the beers and they were all fantastic- no notes. I particularly loved the cucumber gose and plum vanilla sour as well as the Vienna lager. Head brewer is incredibly knowledgeable and generous with her time. Spent so long explaining their craft to us, and sharing the story and science behind the beers, which my husband and I appreciated so much! Will be back!

Matthew Freeman

Google
The bartenders are SO rude. We just stood there for awhile while the bartender stood and chatted with other patrons and completely ignored us. This has been my experience every single time I’ve gone in here. I want to like them but their staff sucks. Skip this one and head down the street to Call To Arms.

Google
Highly recommend this place. Plenty of street parking, nice outdoor covered patio, and they do beer flights. Great service, clean interior and a welcoming space. Plus they have 2-3 food places less than 1 min walk away to bring food in and stay the afternoon. Great music - I noted this during my visit. Try the sours! They’re my favorite.

Yelp
This is an awesome spot. Originally named for the golden circle on the Colorado flag, Gold Spot is friendly and welcoming. I had a great talk with the owner/head brewer. She is fantastic and shares stories as well as listens to customer's stories. She seemed genuinely interested in me visiting from GA. They have a great bar and nice community tables along with a couple other smaller tables. The beer is fantastic. I had a flight with: 1. Let Them WhEAT A very interesting blend of blueberry and beet in a wheat base. It was quite good and refreshing. 2. Harrow's Brew, a chocolate pecan porter. It had great aromas of dark chocolate and roasted nuts along with a slight chocolate flavor. The malt used for this beer gave it a great, earthy flavor. 3. It's Britney B$tch, a watermelon and strawberry sour. Light flavors of both fruits with a subtle tanginess. This beer was super refreshing on a hot day. 4. Brumosa, a hazy IPA. This one wuite good with slight citrus notes and a fantastic blend of hops. I'm sure citra was one of them. The next time I'm in Denver I will definitely stop by. If you're on the north side, venture out and hang at Goldspot.

Yelp
I've been here a couple of times as I live very close. I think the vibes are great, the beer is good, the beer tenders if had are nice. But, I have to give it 3 stars because the place is simply dirty. Also, there was an occasion where the beertenders partner was visiting and instead of cleaning or putting attention to the customers that would walk in or get up for another beer they would be kissing and hugging. We love supportive partners & hi and bye hugs & kisses are great but not none stop while at work especially when the place is dirty. I like this place, I like the location, I like the mission, I like the people, I just hope a bit more effort into cleaning would be taken into consideration and perhaps continuous PDA enforcement during work hours. Let your guest have continuous PDA they're visiting and getting goods, but not the employees lol.

Yelp
The staff is friendly, the beer is wonderful, and the whole vibe of the place is uplifting. You can tell they are community centered by the local artwork displayed and the events they host with local artists (music, poetry, etc).

Yelp
Love this queer brewery!! Always on a hunt for a place that is a queer space, has good drinks, and good vibes. I've been here for bigger group meet ups, and small get togethers. This place always checks out. The only down side is that they don't have food all time time... they do have some good food trucks and are more than happy to let you order food to be delivered and if you are just wanting a snack... they do have those!! I am a huge music person and I tend to be distracted because whatever they put on is good and I have to shazam what is playing!! They have games there fi you wanna play, and they host a ton of events.

Yelp
Part two of the biased close-to-home series of businesses Classmates and I come here to finish up group projects, meet up for trivia night (they do at least, I've been to one), or just grab a quick one to celebrate major things like not yet flunking out of the program after tests. The (owner?) being a Regis grad and participating (instructor?) in the Applied Craft Brewing certification program at Regis is pretty sweet. I just looked up what the program is called for this review and their slogan is "work on your six pack" lol. There's new stuff beers every time I go and at least one i really dig every time something comes out. This spot is a table of the neighborhood and im sure to rep the hat back home when i travel back for the holidays.

Yelp
Female owned brewery with a good sized, indoor and outdoor spaces - garage door roll up makes it a good fresh air flow. Unique flavor profiles, and good funky sours. Every time I've gone, the workers are top notch, friendly and helpful. The beers are equally as amazing. Near the action of Tennyson without being in the heart of it so parking is easier. Dog friendly inside for the win! Mix and match 6 packs so you can try all the things, albeit it makes a $26 six pack but I'm here to support the business I love

Yelp
Friendly service, good vibes, & good beer! My husband and I stopped in at Gold Spot with another couple on a Sunday. The space is pretty open with plenty of seating and TVs which were especially great to have for the football games. I'm a sucker for a good coffee stout, so of course that's what I ordered - and yum! The coffee flavor was pretty strong and the beer was perfect for a winter day. I'd love to come back here for one of their events, including a comedy show which they were hosting that Sunday night. All around good experience!

Yelp
Beer isn't anything special. I would recommend anywhere but here to be honest the beer is really tart and bitter it tastes infected

Yelp
Let me just say the Denver has a great beer scene. Not only that but the vast majority of breweries here make it a point to welcome everyone from all backgrounds, no hate no bigotry. This place is no different and that is a great thing. I came on a slow Monday night. The bartender was nice and I ordered a flight of four beers. Three out of four beers were spectacular. The Ice Melt and Cucumber Gose were superb. I liked the space and the location. I will definitely come back here when I visit Denver again.

Yelp
One of my "go to" breweries over the last two years. I came here when they were new and thought they were quite good. These days they are amazing. So many nice beers can be had here. When they roll up the doors on a sunny day, and the light hits the community tables just right, all is well in the world. Aside from the regulars, I always encounter interesting people who are on their first visit. A very diverse, but universally friendly and fun crowd can be found here. The staff are also a good reason to give this nice establishment your continued patronage.

Yelp
New beers. New merchandise. New on tap board! My last review was four years ago. Goldspot has continued to grow and develop to become a Regis/Berkeley neighborhood staple. "AT GOLDSPOT, ALL ARE WELCOME! We strive to create a sense of community, a place to be known, to gather, to celebrate and to feel at home. We hope our eclectic, balanced, and lovingly-crafted beer will bring people together to share in this wild adventure of living, and living well." A regular rotating food truck. Trivia, bingo, and tons of other community events so you'll always find something to do. The staff is very friendly and attentive too. If it's the middle of the day or the peak of business on a weekend they always have the time to get to know you and suggest a great beer on tap or something fun that's coming out in the near future. Kelissa the owner and head brewer is always around which is nice to see as a customer in my personal opinion. The beer has just gotten better and will continue to be challenging just as the space sticks to the brewery mission statement of building a more just and vibrant community for all. Cheers!

Yelp
Great beer, great vibe, great people, what's not to love? Don't sleep on the tacos & nacos too

Yelp
Today's visit was to join Goldspot and Incredible Vinyl for Vinyl day. David had promoted a vast selection and he is a man of his word. Rock, Pop, Rap, Ska....he had jt all and with a very impressive amount to sift thru (i wasnt expexting much be David delivered! Goldspot was welcoming to everyone. I didn't find them on OpenTable but if you send an email, GoldSpot staff will help accommodate. They do not have a food menu but will park a food truck out front. Patio isn't too bad either.

Daniel K.

Yelp
Great service, super chill vibe and perfect place to relax, wind down and socialize. The beer is tasty and the brewer is cool and laid back. One of my new GO-TO brewery's.
google avatar

Lisa P.

Yelp
My favorite brewery in town! It's very welcoming environment with a great beer selection that rotates with seasonality. Want to try a beer before you buy, just ask! Patio is great during the summer months. Did I mention I love their staff? Helpful, kind and never pretentious.
google avatar

Yelp
I love this place so much. There is always some fun event happening (drag brunch, trivia, movies, hangouts). The place is very dog friendly, inside and out. Its the perfect spot for a quick beer or an all day hang. The new coffee cart that operates inside is the perfect addition. I like to snag a coffee on my morning walks.

Yelp
Goldspot is a nice place to hit for a brew or two. The layout is open with one very long table, some high tops and bar seating. The place was hopping and we settled in at the end of the very long table. I tried the Binary Stars and the Doppelbock. I was a little bummed that the Binary Stars was not on tap but instead a canned beer. It was ok but I really enjoyed the Dopplebock. Goldspot is a nice place to chill and chat, so after a couple beers we were ready to grab some food. There weren't any food trucks so we headed out to grab some Thai.

Yelp
Oof. I had a bit a trouble with the beer I had at this brewery. I had one beer from Goldspot. I believe it was a Jamaican inspired beer( Pon De Floor) in collab with Wah Gwann Brewing. After looking around the look of the beer was down pat with Jamaican beer but for me it was way too sweet. Granted what should I expect when it involves pineapple puree and lots of toasted coconut. Those are some very sweet ingredients and it really depends upon the brewmaster as to how well it's balanced. I'm not too sure if Jamaican beer is typically sweet since I really haven't had any of it. Nope. I haven't even tried Red Stripe. But as I am preparing this beer review it looks like Goldspot makes a ton of other kinds of beers that I may like more. I notice that they have an Italian Pilsner from their Untappd beers. I love those . So perhaps that is what I need to look into is the more pilsner aspect of what this brewery can offer since I've become very pilsner oriented in the last year or so.

Yelp
Stopped by for some really yummy beer. The prospector lager was delicious. It's small, friendly and very welcoming!
google avatar

Alina T.

Yelp
This spot is just off if the main area in Tennyson but well worth the trip! The beers are great, atmosphere laid back, and the people absolutely awesome. I went here on one of our ~100 degree days in denver and their watermelon strawberry sour hit the spot.
google avatar

Matthew K.

Yelp
I absolutely love goldspot. Every beer they make is creative and delicious, and not just an endless barrage of IPAs. (But, their IPAs are great, too!) The location and ambience are great, with occasional events if you like that sort of thing (I do). And their friendly and approachable staff are very helpful when I'm struggling to pick my next pint. And, the fact that it is queer and woman owned is bonus!
google avatar

Yelp
"If i could give six stars I would" - Friend who invited us here for Friday Happy Hour, and I tend to agree! We went on their sixth anniversary and they had a cute set up and were launching a new Sultry Pilsner. The Pilsner they launched wasn't my favorite but I loved the Pink Boots Mango Dragonfly Hazy! So good I couldn't switch it up for my second beer. My boyfriend had the Orange Honey Blossom Rye Saison and loved it as well. Service was excellent and the brewer was very knowledgeable. Will be back soon!

Yelp
One of my favorite breweries just outside of Denver. About 25mins away from Cap Hill or Congress Park. Right next to Regis University. Street and neighborhood parking is easy to come by - I've never had a problem. Beer is made fresh on sight and is constantly changing based on what is in season. Shout out to Kelissa, the owner, who does a fantastic job brewing and creating the elaborate flavors. Recently had the sea of pears, a beer-wine hybrid, which I loved & was pleasantly surprised by the sudachi lime ale with vanilla and pepper. "Don't knock it till you try it!" They have a great space for both indoor and outdoor seating. From bar top stools to communal benches. They also offer a variety of events from game night, trivia, happy hour, open mic night, yoga and do a collaboration with local businesses such as beer-food pairings and the occasional farm stand. They unfortunately don't serve food but there are several restaurants in the area that deliver.

Yelp
It seems like craft breweries are EVERYWHERE in Colorado. And it's clear a lot of the brewers are hobbyists who don't actually know what they're doing. Which is why I'm so grateful to have Goldspot in my neighborhood. The beer is not only GREAT... it's expertly crafted. I'm a beer snob, yes, but it's just so nice to drink beer with natural ingredients that doesn't cut corners in the production process. Plus, it's such a welcoming environment to a diverse clientele. I'm a huge fan.

Yelp
Went here for the first time this weekend in 4 years. The owner was bartending. His name was Ryan. He was a great guy. Very personable. Explained about the brewery and all the beers. He explained that he actually took over ownership last summer. They are in the process of getting a patio. Good size bar and a lot of tables. Good selection of beers. Light to dark to IPAs. Beers were good. Good neighborhood to be in. Will def be back! Cheers!

Yelp
Wonderful beer with full body taste. The lady and or ladies who run the operation are great. They're practicing good social distancing and are very pleasant and helpful place is clean. It was a food truck there good trivia nights and other fun events Graybar great place great man

Yelp
I wanted to try a new brewery and Yelp recommended this place, so here I am! Parking is a bit of a beast, but around downtown Denver that's to be expected. Hopefully where I parked is okay, don't tow me, haha! They have 10 beers on tap, so I have to find out if they have a flight! They do! I got six 4oz pours. Nice. I had 2 super faves! The Walkers Pub Honey Saison and the All Colorado Cherry Dubbel. I got myself another pour of the Saison. The beer tender was super friendly, even though I asked him the Wi-Fi password like 3 times. Haha. I LOVE IPAs. My lack of one star is only because I didn't care for the Cutter IPA so my heart was broken. But, we know opinions are like @$$holes, right? The ambiance is great, the bar is welcoming and chill and there are more than enough options to find a beer you love. Great spot!
google avatar

Sara H.

Yelp
Love! Love! Love! Cool space, close to home. Super yummy beers! They happened to have trivia the night we were there. We did terribly but had a great time anyway. I can't wait to go back!!!

Yelp
Goldspot is one of my favorite bars in the Denver area. Friendly staff, a fun and relaxed vibe, and delicious beer- what more could you ask for? Music selection is always good, and at a volume that I can still sit back and enjoy a conversation. With a constantly rotating menu that is well balanced- there are always some unique and inventive options, as well as solid staples such as their Cutter IPA- this is a great place to take friends and family to discover their next favorite beer.
google avatar

Ruthie K.

Yelp
Visiting Denver for the weekend, read about this spot and it was a HAVE TO stop. Great atmosphere and feel of the place. I really loved that aspect. From one gay to another, the beer needs work.
google avatar

Deya Z.

Yelp
This place has easily become one of our favorites. It's located about a block from Regis so naturally they're packed on certain days. We've stopped by on trivia nights as well as random Fridays & it can be a bit of a mixed bag when it comes to seating. The beer selection is consistently great, as well as the food trucks that stop by. There's a cute patio off to the side for some nice day drinking.

Jw R.

Yelp
The beers: great. Ambience: fantastic. Bartenders: extremely friendly. What else would you ask for?
google avatar

Taylor E.

Yelp
I really enjoying this small brewery. The beers were really good & just simple. Cute little outside seating with heaters. There were 2 different food companies out front you could order from. Definitely recommend.
google avatar

Jason J.

Yelp
The only thing Goldspot is missing is an actual pot of gold. It's a really great space with that pretty standard semi-industrial chic. Garage doors that open to the sidewalk are a huge plus in the summer -- I'm a sucker for ANYTHING with garage doors. Top to bottom the beers they serve are quite good, as long as it's in season - no heavy porters on hot summer days, you know? They've got lots of games to play, I've always enjoyed chatting with the servers -- and it can't be repeated enough, the beer is fantastic. It's a favorite stop on a Saturday afternoon after I finish up a round of golf at the nearby course. Can't recommend it enough!
google avatar

Amy K.

Yelp
I'm not super huge into beers and found that this place had such a great selection. From sours to wheats to porters...really loved having so many options!! They had a great set up outside, lots of space between the tables and was very diligent on cleaning the tables after people left. I felt very safe and could really enjoy my time outside knowing that rules and regulations were being followed. Good amount of patio coverings to keep you a bit cooler I was able to grab some food from the food truck parked out front had a great day out. Was able to clock out and enjoy the some summertime patio drinking

Yelp
I have been to Goldspot Brewing on two occasions, once on opening day (it was packed) and recently on a hot and sunny Saturday afternoon. Although they don't sell food, there is always a food truck outside. I tend to go for red ales and am not a big fan of hoppy beers but every style I've had so far at Goldspot has been good. Beer prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere is delightful. Just big enough to accomodate a lot of thirsty beer drinkers but small enough to feel comfortable. Lots of seating options from the bar area and large community table where you can make friends to individual tables which are more private. I especially like the tall tables next to the west facing windows. Drink a freshly brewed beer, and soak up the warm sun. Goldspot Brewing is a great asset to the Regis neighborhood.
google avatar

Kim R.

Yelp
This brewery is one of our favorites! Great beer, friendly and attentive staff, and overall a great environment! We recently hosted our daughter's first birthday party here. The staff could not have been more accommodating. Our friends and family loved trying all of the delicious beers and celebrating in such a fun location! I have also visited for Thursday night trivia and I can't recommend it enough! Great energy! The owners are also wonderful people who genuinely love what they do! Will definitely be spending more time here in the future!

Yelp
Solid Solid Beer Fun Simple Friendly Smiles Cool wood on the bar and tables, Made from an old railroad car Good beer Beer with a twist Flavors, lots of flavors I like variety It's here Stop by and smile Pick something different Pick something fun Enjoy

Yelp
31MAR2017 They don't like Bannon's Bitch. So, 5 stars it is. 14NOV2015 The garage doors are great on a warm November Sunday. I love the weather in Denver. Very quiet shortly after Noon. I had another Gus' Breakfast Porter. The $3 pretzel was a good complement. The beers are good and the atmosphere is comfy. A pleasant reward for walking 2km from our house. 20FEB2015 They opened before the official grand opening, but the Grand Opening at Noon on Saturday was packed. Inviting space. Warm Edison lights. Cozy. Looking forward to the open garage door in the Summer. Good beer. I had Gus' Breakfast Porter. Chocolate and coffee. Lots of rich flavor. Very tasty. More drinking is required for further analysis.

Yelp
The space is small, and located in a non-happening part of Denver far from downtown. The beers are nothing special compared to all the great beer in Denver, and have annoying hipster names. This brewery and head brewer launched a publicity stunt that reveals their radical left-wing politics, intolerance, dishonesty of both political sides, and antagonism. They were ready to brew a pro-Hillary Clinton beer (completely ignoring her litany of egregious negatives) but are now making an anti-Trump beer, and have given it an offensive name. Proceeds will be partially donated to various left-wing charities. Really best to avoid this and the other breweries involved and spend money elsewhere. http://www.westword.com/restaurants/women-brewers-create-makin-noise-a-pussy-riot-beer-for-trump-inauguration-day-8638938
google avatar

Kristina D.

Yelp
Seriously, so good. Women run this biaaaaaaaa, and I love that. The beer is fantastic and the service is amazing!
google avatar

Tommy T.

Yelp
Been here several times, and the rotation of beers is always sure to please. Their IPAs are pretty tasty and the Porter is most excellent. The two stars this trip were the Red IPA and the Cerveza Cereza. The last one was aged in sour cherries for a few weeks. They added a TV for the big games but it's not sports bar distracting. You still primarily Coke here for games and chit chat. They have a pretty good rotation of food trucks to keep ya fed and serve Noshery pretzels as well.
google avatar

Elaina R.

Yelp
This place was pretty good. They were very friendly and helpful at the bar. We sat on the patio, which wasn't especially a great environment. I think it would be a great neighborhood spot if you lived in the area, but with so many choices in the Denver Metro area, I would probably go somewhere else next time.
google avatar

Lamar D.

Yelp
Head brewer is an awesome chick! She loves to bartend and meet the customers/community. Delicious beers and chill atmosphere. We were in town for a week and came by 3 times! I can't wait to come back! Yum!
google avatar

Russell N.

Yelp
Goldspot has become one of my "go to" breweries. The beers have all been tasty, and they change out pretty quickly. All the staff has been friendly. I miss Unicorn Floatie though.
google avatar

Doug Y.

Yelp
Cool room, good beers, and in a neighborhood not far from where I grew up. Across the street from Regis U. and on one of my alternate routes to get back home after work makes stopping in almost too easy. I half expected them to be over run by college students but it's really more of a neighborhood hang out. The Cutter IPA and the Black River Stout depending on my mood are my go to's here.
google avatar

Wes M.

Yelp
Saw a one star review because someone forgot their IDs. If you don't like that, work to get the law changed. Doesn't really matter how old you are. And it has nothing to do with Goldspot and how great their beer is. This brewery is a diamond in the rough. I've been consistently impressed with the execution of their beers. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.
google avatar

Rowan H.

Yelp
Super yummy beer, loved their guanabana ale! Also enjoyed having games to keep us entertained while there
google avatar

Carolyn M.

Yelp
I stopped at Goldspot after work on Bike to Work Day and I was so impressed! The space is not huge, but they were able to cram a lot of people into the picnic tables both inside and outside of the bar area. Service was good, and beers were DELICIOUS, with super fun names to boot. There were some pretty annoying dogs hanging out on the patio that growled and lunged when we tried to walk past - whatever happened to breweries banning dogs within the city limits?! Aside from this nuisance, we had a great time!
