I have been wanting to come to this joint for a long time but with other local joints opening up and my husband's favorite breakfast joint we frequent, coming here was challenging. My friend wanted to meet up for breakfast and asked for some options. I threw out Goldy's and Goldy's was what we both decided on. It's late morning on a Tuesday, I didn't know how busy it was going to be. Walking in, I was greeted and was told my table options. It was nice to be able to get in so quickly. I have heard this joint can have quite the wait time but not today. Little did I know they have an upper dining area, I thought that was pretty cool. I opted for a table on the main floor. I was quite mesmerized by the chandelier with angel wings all over the bulbs. It was a beautiful piece to look at. I got my coffee dropped off right away. My friend and I did breeze over the menu for a while. We were like two chickens clucking trying to catch up. Our server was really patient and gave us a minute to buckle down and decide on what we wanted. For breakfast I got the 3 egg omelet with spinach, asparagus and feta. I passed on the bread and potatoes for fresh fruit. Everything came out hot! My omelet was busting out of the seams with asparagus. It looked hearty! You can see the feta partially melted on top of it. My fruit plate was vibrant! It was beautifully plated with berries, citrus, pineapple and apple slices. The berries were fresh and tart. The strawberry was so sweet. The blueberries were firm and tasty. The orange was fresh but bland. I didn't get to try the grapefruit but it smelled devine. The pineapple was my favorite! I had about half of my omelet! It was massive. I loved how much veggies was in the middle of it. The spinach and asparagus was cooked perfectly! I don't know what it was about the texture of the eggs but I didn't really like it. The eggs were stiff and not really fluffy. It was foamy like. I have had some omelets where the eggs are fluffy but in this case it wasn't like that. It was still good but it's probably something I wouldn't order again. I'm happy I finally got to check out this joint. It's a landmark for Boise and I can see why. It's tiny, vibrant and fun plus it's been around for years. I love the vibe here very much! Our server did a great job taking care of us today. Coffee was hot and the food was fresh. It was a great day to check it out. I finally get to mark Goldy's off my to do list.

Goldy’s Breakfast Bistro is exactly what you hope to find when you’re craving a cozy, delicious brunch spot that hits all the right notes. From the moment you walk in, the aroma of fresh coffee wraps around you like a hug. Let’s start with the mimosa flight—absolutely a must! They were beautifully presented and perfectly balanced—just enough bubbles to kick off a great morning without going overboard. Coffee lovers, rejoice. Goldy’s takes their brew seriously. Whether you’re a straight-up black coffee person or a lavender oat milk latte kind of soul, there’s something for every caffeine craving. Their house blend was rich, smooth, and clearly crafted with care. Food-wise, everything was fresh, tasty, and thoughtfully delivered. The staff was upbeat and attentive without being overbearing, and the vibe in the restaurant was warm, welcoming, and full of happy energy. Whether you’re grabbing a quick solo breakfast or settling in for a long brunch with friends, Goldy’s makes you feel like you’re in the right place. Highly recommend. Goldy’s is golden.

Despite being rather busy the kitchen and wait staff seemed to feel no sense of urgency. I waited 30 minutes for my dish which would have been completely fine, but nothing on my plate was actually hot which begs the question of why did it take so long if obviously it had been sitting somewhere? As a solo diner sitting at the counter normally these tickets are prioritized because the kitchen can easily get them out of the way, but that doesn't seem to be how they do things here. The dish itself made no sense. It seems like someone was desperately trying to come up with different takes to fill out their different eggs Benedict dishes, so they said how about if we just throw some chicken and bacon in there and use a "spicy" (it was not spicy) hollandaise, that will make it look like we know what we're doing! No, no it does not. You grilled a flavorless, dry chicken and stuck it under a supposedly poached egg which I never actually tasted because the whole thing was drowning in a sloppily made "spicy" hollandaise that was as thick as it was boring. The hash browns were hash browns and they would have been fine if they were actually hot. The only thing good was the coffee. The wait staff was friendly, but unpolished. I had a quarter of my plate left and someone brought me my check unprompted without asking if there was anything else I wanted. Also, the music, what vibe are you actually going for here? If it's chaotic mess, you nailed it.

Google
Worth a trip to visit this fantastic breakfast place! I had the Eggs Benny and a Biscuit with Gravy; my wife had the pancakes, scrambled eggs, and bacon. The Benedict was divine, with a super fluffy hollandaise sauce and perfectly poached eggs. Biscuit and gravy was really good as well; sausage gravy has a good amount of pepper but is very good. Biscuit was excellent. Pancakes are huge and fluffy! Service was outstanding. Atmosphere is busy and noisy but everybody was having fun, including us.

Google
I had the Andalusian eggs and I would absolutely say it was in the top 10 breakfasts I’ve ever ordered. Fantastic. My husband had a create your own skillet and it was also a win. I would not hesitate to go here again

11JUN2025: I could fly to Boise JUST for this breakfast. My goodness. Stumbled across this place and so glad we did, what a gem! Landed a table on the second deck, and the food was incredible across the board. Mushroom, spinach, ham and bacon omelet, crisp bacon (NEXT LEVEL ON FLAVOR), biscuit, bread, potatoes… this was as good as it gets. Thank you, Jamie, for the 5-star service and thank you Goldy’s Bistro for a breakfast we continue to rave about. One tip: If you do check in and can get a second-floor table against the rail (vice inward), looking below on the other patrons if you are people watcher, could add to the experience.

Google
Nice breakfast spot serving up classics. I ordered the Eggs Benedict with Goldy's Special Potatoes. They were good, I don't know that I would seek it out. They also offer their Goldy's Special seasoning if you'd like to take the experience home.

Google
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Goldy’s – Boise, ID Goldy’s came highly recommended by a client who used to live in Boise—and now I know why! My son and I stopped in for breakfast, and we both ordered eggs benedict (mine with tomato, his with a spicy twist). Our waitress mentioned they’re known for their benedicts, and she wasn’t wrong—absolutely fantastic. I ordered the half portion, and it was still plenty of food. Every bite was delicious, and I didn’t leave a crumb behind. My client also told me they have the best biscuits and gravy in town, but as a huge eggs benedict fan, I had to go with my favorite this time. Looking forward to coming back the next time I’m in Boise—this place is definitely a gem!

Yelp
Amazing breakfast. Coffee is good (I'm super picky). Had eggs, bacon, potatoes and blueberry pancake (not the fluffiest but quite good). Friendly service.

Yelp
I was recommended Goldy's by a few locals and it had lots of reviews so I figured it was worth a try! The space is smaller than I anticipated but it's cozy, cute and unique. At 12:00pm on a Thursday it was pretty quiet luckily for me! Every server seemed to be pretty nice and laid back. It also didn't take long to get my food. I was in and out in less than an hour! I will say that I think the food is overpriced. I felt this before even going to the restaurant just by looking at the menu, and it was confirmed once I finished my meal. However, it seemed to me like they use pretty fresh and quality whole foods. The chicken and turkey sausage was among the best I have had at a restaurant, the potatoes were also good (although maybe a little oily) and the eggs were good quality as well! The pancake was good, maybe slightly doughy in the middle and a bit sweet. Overall though, I had a good experience and I really appreciate the number of options they give you when building your breakfast. I'm not mad at the recommendation.

Yelp
We came to Goldy's years ago and came back this week while in Boise. We came on a Wednesday morning at 8am and they were busy, but they had two tables open. We were warmly greeted and our drink orders taken. Our server , Raquel, was sweet and perky. We love the "build your breakfast" option, which we both ordered. Our eggs were perfectly cooked. The beet hash is so delicious; I remembered it from years ago. The English muffin was good and the marionberry jam was excellent! My husband remembered the blueberry muffin was delish, but they didn't have them today. We tried the bread pudding muffin. It was ok, but a little dry. All in all, it was a very nice experience at Goldy's and we look forward to our next visit.

Mike C.

Yelp
Goldy's (scale of 1-5) I am a very tough grader. A 5 means the subject in question is among the best I ever had. A 4 means it is in the top 20% of similar items EVER. A 3 means it was good without any significant detractions. A 2 and it just wasn't worth it. A 1 means it's worth suing over.) so, for Goldy's in Boise, this was my experience: Coffee - 4 BLT: 3 (thin sandwich, buttery bread, good bacon) Potatoes with peppers and onions (they call them Pepps): 4 Service: 3 The feel of the place, including the music: 3 (upbeat, very busy on Sunday morning)

Jessica M.

Yelp
What a great find. We flew into town and wanted a good breakfast. We did have to wait 20 minutes but they have a cute coffee shop around the corner to wait at. The sweet potato hash browns were amazing. We loved the sausage patty as well. Definitely worth the stop.

Nycole R.

Yelp
Several people recommended Goldy's, but they all told me to go early and prepare for a wait. Well, I'm happy to report that on a Saturday morning at 7:30, I was able to walk right in and get a table. The early bird gets the worm, people, or at least the hot cup of coffee. Service is fantastic-my coffee and water was refilled frequently and the folks who were waiting on guests were friendly and welcoming. The food was also very good and the portions were large. I ate maybe half of my meal and then boxed up the rest for later. I'll be back-nice and early.

Dillon M.

Yelp
The food was great, one of the best pancakes best breakfast potatoes and some of the best scrambled eggs I've ever had honestly. I was surprised. We waited a long time but service was good overall for a busy Saturday morning. Cost was a little high but I don't really regret it. Think I spent almost $20 on my meal. Oh, and they played great music which was a bonus.

Yelp
There's a waitress here who stopped talking with me one day. I noticed she started saying things to other staff, then they stopped talking with me. She always seemed so uncomfortable when i came in. A year or so later, she didn't seem uncomfortable, I asked her if there was something I could apologize for and let her know I definitely was just there for food not hoping to dating anyone. She said na, there weren't any issues, she said she can just be a little antisocial sometimes. Next time I came in I was informed I had been banned forever. See if you can figure out which one it is. Maybe you can get banned too. Based on my experience I'm guessing there is some staffing / management issues here, but since no one used their words we will never know. drama drama drama ...

Yelp
Great spot for a diner style breakfast or brunch in downtown Boise! The eggs Benny were actually pretty cheap too and the hashbrowns were awesome. Only complaints are a bit of a long wait for food once we ordered (we were seated right away somehow on a busy weekend). And the iced coffee I got tasted like watered down black coffee that had just been iced. I asked for a cold brew and I would have a hard time believing that this was prepared as a true cold brew! Minor details - I would go back. The food slaps.

Grant O.

Yelp
The food here is amazing tastes homemade and is always fresh. The coffee is delightful as well. The redbull infusions have way to much ice and so you don't get your bang for your buck. The staff is always incredibly friendly and always more than happy to share the specials. Location is downtown so parking can be a mess. Weekends are busy as heck so either get here early or you could be looking at a wait. All in all a great breakfast spot.

Suji P.

Yelp
Delicious! Loved my Salmon Benny. It was a bit odd that I couldn't order to-go over the phone, but I walked there from my hotel and ordered in-person. I waited for about 20 minutes, but loved my dish. My husband didn't love his breakfast burrito as much - mostly because he didn't realize the chorizo wouldn't be crumbled chorizo (it was chorizo sausage instead) also there was quite a bit of tortilla.

Sara Y.

Yelp
Excellent service, delicious coffee and red flannel hash, and the chandelier was the highlight of a cozy two level cafe. The price was amazing, as I'm from Bellingham WA and this breakfast would have been about $20 more there. This place rocks.

Scott L.

Yelp
This is the place you want to go for breakfast! You get more bang for your buck. The service is outstanding. I had the chicken fried steak, scrambled eggs, a pancake, and cheesy grits. Fell into a food coma because I couldn't stop eating.

Anne P.

Yelp
We waited to try them because I'd heard the wait time is long. But we decided to get there early and arrived by 9:30 a.m. 10 minutes later we were seated. We were after the chicken fried steak, as we are connoisseurs. My husband had a malted waffle and I shared my big plate of food with him. From the handsome young host at the front door to our very friendly young waiter, we felt important and well cared for. Then the food came. We finally found the BEST Chicken Fried Steak in the whole area. Everything about it was perfectly prepared, good tasting eggs (no stale vegetable oil flavor!) and huge. I chose the corned beef hash as a potato, and it was remarkable. Better than I can make at home, and a big portion. Gravy on the side as I requested, and some very tasty sour dough toast. Even sharing, we had some left overs to take home, and got out of their for less than $40.00 including a generous tip. We will be back!!!

Yelp
After over 1100 reviews and 600 photos documenting Goldy's, what can be said about it. My answer is to avoid it like the plague. 1. It is incredibly small. The place is crammed with tables & chairs and the daily overflow waits on the sidewalk for the next table. 2. IT HAS THE AMBIANCE OF HYENA OR MONKEY CAGES AT THE ZOO. It is so loud it may cause hearing loss, if you go there. The banging of utensils, dishes and glasses is totally expected and raises the background noise above conversational level. In my visit, there were two tables of adults who had 3 completely unruly, obnoxious, spoiled children about 2-3 years old who screamed bloody murder at the top of their lungs for over 25 minutes as I waited for my order to get served. The brats could not be silenced by anything that their permissive, subjugated adults could do during the few times they feebly attempted. 3. My order was quickly taken, but it took almost 1/2 hour to get served. This was 10:30 am midweek. UGH! 4. I had Andalusian Eggs which has the description of: Two poached eggs over Goldy's Marinara, baked with ham, chorizo, asparagus and peppers. Everything was there, but the asparagus was RAW. HUH? Nothing was done to prepare the asparagus. It was just a green ring of uncooked green stems (see photo). The dish came out very hot so I took the opportunity to bury the green things with the rest of the dish and allow for some heating of the green things. It help ever so slightly. The toast was good. 5. With exceptional places all around the Treasure Valley like, The Chef's Hut, Terri's Café, The Griddle, Merritt's Family Restaurant and Squeeze In there is no reason for anyone to eat here. The customers are the worst elitist, preening, bottom feeders I have ever encountered in Idaho. While Goldy's is 3 blocks away from the Capitol bldg, they give Idaho a bad name. If Goldy's were to give away the food for free, I would not return. 6. Nice, polite people need to avoid this s-hole. If you are trapped in the downtown area because of business or vacation travel, go to Trillium at the Grove Hotel, or Waffle Me Up. both one block away and void of the chaos and low class customers of Goldy's. Those places actually served food that has been cooked properly in an atmosphere where shouting at each other is not required.

Luanne A.

Yelp
First off I want to say the breakfasts were really good. The corned beef hash could have used a bit more potato in the ratio especially because it's not considered one of your meat sides and it's more beef forward. Blueberry pancakes to die for! Tomato/cheddar Omelette was very nice! This place is busy and you'll probably wait at least 20 min on weekends to be seated but there is a coffee shop around the corner that you can start your coffee with while you wait. I do think the place is extremely loud with all hard surfaces and with that they add on top of it loud music. I think they could use some sound absorbers and/or turn down the music maybe. The middle light fixture could use a cleaning as there is a thick layer of dust/ webs perfectly visible from the top floor. Service was very nice and would definitely go back the next time we're in town!

Kelly D.

Yelp
Well guys if this place is good enough for a best selling author && leadership speaker, - it's good enough for us. We met John C Maxwell while having breakfast at this wonderful place! Out of town on business, we found this diamond in the rough. Feel like an old time cafe with a new age flair. The husband got the chicken fried steak - must of been good since he devoured ALL of it. I was able to barter some of my homemade taste Corn Beef Hash for a couple of his Goldy's Special potatoes. They were amazing, has some sort special seasoning on it and we're crisped just right. The smoked chicken turkey apple sausage was just right && the corn beef was yum! Love me some corn beef! Would of been top notch if it was thrown with some of their special potatoes. also got a picture of oatmeal our friends ordered && the husbands hot chocolate. It was quite an awesome place.

Valerie W.

Yelp
I came with a friend for brunch on Sunday, and I was not expecting to be able to get a table since it's such a popular place. Thankfully it was a thirty minute wait and my friend and I didn't mind waiting. Once we were seated we chose a mimosas flight and got four flavors to try. We got blueberry, orange, mango and pineapple. I liked all of them except for the blueberry one, just wasn't my preference. I also ordered their croissant French toast with maple sausage and I loved it so much I almost made myself sick from eating too much. The flavor was sweet but not so sweet that you get a stomach ache. The sausage had the best maple flavor and was cooked perfectly. I am excited to come back here again in the future.

Bradley P.

Yelp
I took my girlfriend here for breakfast on her birthday and we wont be back again. We have high standards for our food. It is very basic and cheap we didn't enjoy it at all. They also cook it in cheap oil that's is so bad for you and just disgusting. Our hash-browns seemed like we were just eating oil which would be ok if it was good oil. When you're paying $50 for 2 people you'd expect it to be good and high quality. If you're looking for healthy quality food cooked in only butter or avocado oil go to the griddle. Best in town.

Yelp
Goldy's Breakfast has a very homestyle feel, and the location is rich in Idaho culture and history. I loved how original the location felt, and how easy it was to feel welcome inside the restaurant. The coffee was excellent, some of the best quality coffee I've had at a diner. The jam for my toast blew me away, and it was a perfect stop for a cold day in DT Boise. Now to the Denver Omelet Review: Ordering the omelet was unique, as they have a system to pick your ingredients with little to no premade choices. I usually expect the Denver Omelet to be listed but I had to order an omelet with Ham and Onions and then add additional ingredients to fulfill the rest of the Omelet. Once the Omelet arrives you first notice the presentation, it's very different than what is traditional for a Denver Omelet. The additional ingredients were laid underneath the eggs, nothing mixed in, and no egg sandwiched underneath. The ingredients were fresh, flavorful, and small in physical size, making it easy to scoop along with the egg on top. I thought the dash of seasoning on top of the omelet was a great addition to its flavor. The toast was well prepared and of great quality. The Hashbrowns tasted amazing despite the unique approach where the potatoes were very slim and skinny strings. Overall, Goldy's has the most unique and different approach to everything about the food experience. However, the flavors, fresh ingredients, and seasoning just blew my mind. I was intrigued by everything, but impressed by everything. Awesome breakfast spot. Denver Omelet Score: 9.0/10

Andrew H.

Yelp
Service was alright. Food was alright, just not what it used to be unfortunately. Grew up eating at this place and I used to say this was the best breakfast in Boise. Sadly it's gone down hill a lot especially for the price, that being said it wasn't terrible by any means, just wasn't what it had been in the past. Salmon hash wasn't worth it.

Rob L.

Yelp
Don't know what happened, Goldy's use to be good? Maybe I remembered wrong as we haven't been in quite a few years due to the place is hard to get into on the weekend. We went this morning (Sunday 7:45am) and got in quickly. We choose to be seated upstairs which was a mistake because the area was too dark and we needed our phone flashlight to see the menu clearly. First cup of coffee was served luke warm. Ordered the veggie breakfast with two eggs over easy and was presented with a cold to the touch bowl of oil drenched mushy veggies over some potatoes and un-melted cheese. The two eggs on top arrived over hard. Lastly the toast was so cold the butter stuff didn't melt. The coffee refill warmed my cup okay, so there's that. I won't comment on the benedict my spouse ordered, but she wasn't pleased and said it was 'just okay.' With so many options for early Sunday morning breakfast in Boise, I'd skip this. We won't be back.

A.j. P.

Yelp
I'm going with 5-stars on Goldy's, this breakfast spot is busy and limited on seating but it's worth it. I went with Build Your Combo Maple-sage sausage patty, Goldy's potatoes, eggs over easy, and sourdough. This combo was firing on all pistons. I feel like the sausage patty and the potatoes were in a taste battle over who can steal the show on each bite. Goldy's has so many options, and I hear they known for their Hollandaise sauce. So when I get back it's gonna be the Eggs Benny for me. It's a quaint little space, tight seating...but that's how the great spots roll. Missy was spot on with the coffee refills, and help some ordering advice. This spot is worth your time and effort. ***Flight Attendant approved***

Yelp
My companion and I went in for a late brunch, There is a real lack of parking as it is in the heart of downtown. There is a step to get in, so it is really not handicap accessible, there is a button outside of the door saying if you need assistance getting in to press it. The bathroom is upstairs so that isn't an option for those who are mobility impaired. Now onto the really good stuff. I had probably some of the best biscuits and gravy other than what my mom makes ever! My dining companion had eggs Blackstone which is similar to eggs Benedict but it has Black Forest ham and tomato over English muffin with hollandaise absolutely delicious. He also had red flannel potatoes which is hash brown potatoes and beets cooked together it is absolutely delicious highly recommend! Our service was attentive without being overbearing you can see into the kitchen from most areas and it is absolutely clean.

M P.

Yelp
The potato fratatti was out of this world!! Definitely a must if you've never been there... Wifey got a burrito.... Possibly one of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had.. but the customer service was the best part. We called our order in because we were just passing through along our travels. They forgot to put the hash browns in the bag. The young lady called us to come back and met me on the corner with my hash browns, so I didn't even get out of my car.

Gerg P.

Yelp
Busy.....busy good menu tight seating and if you have one leg no need to sit upstairs... Pricing reflects the town of San Diego, oh, but this is Boise.... unique menu Bland cheap house coffee Too much "food" flavorful meal and good presentation Excellent service

Amy D.

Yelp
3.5 stars overall, but rounding up for their friendly staff. Goldy's Breakfast Bistro gets BUSY during weekend brunch, and they do not take phone orders during that time. They may or may not take your order if you go in person, but note that all orders (whether you dine in or take out) typically take 45 minutes to 1 hour. I decided to come back on a weekday (around 1pm on a Monday), and was able to call in my order, which took less than 20 minutes to be ready. I decided to try Trav's Famous Breakfast Burrito (Goldy's Potatoes, Three Scrambled Eggs, Sautéed Peppers & Onions, Cheddar & Pepper Jack Cheese, Italian Sausage, Spinach Tortilla, Served w/Salsa & Sour Cream, $13.50, https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=JPiVJUeEvZ5p9gPiSSdBkw&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg), which was really good! I usually don't like potatoes in my breakfast burritos, but am glad I didn't take these out since they actually added more flavor and were super tender. The eggs and Italian sausage were also cooked well, and all the components worked together. The only change I would make is to only have one spinach tortilla, versus the two they currently use. I ended up removing the second layer of tortilla when I ate the burrito. I would definitely come back if back in the area to try their malted waffle, biscuits and gravy, and blueberry pancakes. Both indoor and outdoor seating were available during the weekend, but it didn't seem like the outdoor seating was set up during the weekday. Parking can be difficult to find in this area- during the weekends, you can park in the lot behind Goldy's, since it's not restricted to private parking only. Street parking is available during the weekdays, but you may have to park a short walk away; however, at least your first 20 minutes are free on most of the parking meters.

Yelp
This place is so good! First time we actually finished everything. Pancakes were so good and delicious! Potato's were so flavorful and amazing!

Zack A.

Yelp
Greasy diner style breakfast food for prices where you'd expect fresher ingredients. Wouldn't recommend unless you're really hungover.

Andrew H.

Yelp
This place has awesome food and very friendly service. Unfortunately, their processes are kind of a mess and I don't think the food is worth the wait. We got on the waitlist and were told it would be about 25 minutes. We then went to the Goldy's bakery shop right next door to wait... Almost an hour later we got a call saying "Did..did we already call you or not?" They hadn't called. So we went and sat down (they had sat probably 5 other tables and skipped past us), and ordered our food. We then watched as nearly everyone else in the place, even many folks sat after us, received their food. Maybe we were forgot about a second time? By the time we got our food (1.5+ hrs later), they were cleaning up shop and getting ready to close. It was a 3+ hour experience when all was said and done. Was the food good though? Yes, it was incredible! The portions though, were a bit lacking. I got the veggie plate and it was extremely tasty, but it was hard to see if there was any cheese on it. The description of this dish reminded me of one of my all-time favorite dishes, a dish called "Portland Potatoes" at Zell's café in Portland. Visually though, it wasn't as substantial. I would only recommend coming here if you have a LOT of time to kill. (3+ hrs)

Gregg D.

Yelp
Ok so I have mixed feelings...part of me wants to tell everyone how amazing this place is...but another part of me wants to keep it a secret so I can always get a table!!! So..... if you wanna know which part of me wins, you'll have to go find out for yourself!

Paul B.

Yelp
I have been several times to Goldy's each time the price goes up and the quality goes down. Used to have really good thick bacon, now thin with no flavor. Today I got a scramble, eggs were good, hashbrowns were smashed so thin and so extra crisp all they tasted of was grease! Bacon so over cooked and cheap just tasted like crispy salt! English muffin had sat so long it was soggy! Coffee was like warm, they made a fresh pot then continued to use the cold pot to refill for tables. Not once did the server ask how it was. Breakfast and coffee with no extra charges was $24.86, with tip $30.00, for an average at best meal! It seems they have gotten too busy for what they can handle! Won't be going back nor will I be recommending them like I used to!

Yelp
Goldy's is my all-time favorite breakfast place anywhere in the world. I don't make it to Boise very often but I think about this restaurant all the time. They often have a wait but it's worth it. Don't miss Goldy's special potatoes- truly the best potatoes I've ever had. Service is so friendly every time. Whether you are seated inside or outside, it feels comfortable and cozy. I love everything about this spot and whole-heartedly recommend to anyone!

Yelp
While seated on the second floor, I noticed that the dust buildup was quite extensive. There was dust on the lights, sockets, air conditioners, and the air conditioning vent was surrounded by black dust. It's surprising that I didn't have an allergic reaction. Considering the number of employees there, it seems like they could easily have an all-hands meeting to clean the area, which could be completed within an hour. There's really no excuse for it. The waffle I had was extremely dry. I visited this place based on hearing it was the "best brunch in Boise," and it was quite busy.

Yelp
Just an amazing spot for brunch! Their breakfast burrito is a MUST because the potatoes just melt in your mouth my goodness. Staff seem busy but come around once in awhile. It has a fun yet historical design inside. The mimosa flight is fun to try as well. Worth the waitlist!

Yelp
Highly recommended breakfast spot and was elated to secure a table for two on a Sunday morning. Menu offered many options. We both settled on the cinnamon raisin French toast. Sadly, it was too sweet for our liking. Perhaps the sour dough French toast would have been a better option.

Yelp
I took my teenage daughter here for breakfast, and they were busy for a week day. They didn't have tables open it was about a 20 min wait, but since my kid had to get to school, we sat at the bar. She had apple juice, and I had coffee. We both order French toast. I just wish we would have known how big the plate was. We would have just shared one. The French toast was good really good. And I also had bacon it was just right not to crispy and not too soft. I got to enjoy some time with my daughter and had some good breakfast. One thing I do want to mention is that I give all the staff a well-done job because to work in such a small back area and you guys make it look easy. Good job.

Yelp
Wow, what a disappointment. We so look forward to coming here when we visit. This time was the last. I get the hour wait to get in, no problem it turned into 1 1 1/2., ok. Once seated another hour and still have not gotten food. We finally had to walk out! Can't tell you how the food is. Never got it! 3 hours and now looking for something to eat. What a shame, really looked forward to it. The attitude and service of the tall bar tender was horrible. Came by after 30 to take order, 30 minutes later for coffee never checked in. Said we would have to deal with it they were busy. I am a nice guy takes a lot for me to walk out.

Yelp
Great choices of especially build your own breakfast.. all kinds of options. Very good cozy inside.. eclectic, and historic. Overall a great place for a different breakfast experience, and the service was great and cheery.

Yelp
I love a good breakfast bistro, especially a place that feels as family owned and home-y as this! I love the flexibility of the menu allowing you to have a little bit of everything, and not break the bank. Not to mention the portions are huge! Great service with really friendly staff. Long wait for the table, but worth it. I ordered an omelette with broccoli and peppers. Note: the toppings are not mixed in, but rather grilled and a folded egg over. The egg was cooked to perfection as were the veggies. The sausage patty was huge and good as well. The hash browns were so crispy and probably my favorite part.

Yelp
I invited an out-of-town guest who loved the classic downtown diner vibe. They were very pleased with the Espresso Specialty Coffee and the Veggie Entree. My classic benedict was great also. It had been several years since I had eaten there and it was just as good as before. Our server made sure we were happy with our breakfasts.

Yelp
Food was amazing. I had the frittata. My daughter had the eggs Benny. Excited to See where and when they will open a bigger place. Service is a little slow but worth it for the food. Our waitress was super attentive and explained some of the foods they had.

Yelp
Service was bad the last time I went there , I don't think I'll ever go back again .. it's like we were a target for delaying our food compared to everyone that had gotten there just after us and got there food before us . It took a long time to get some coffee .. I don't think I'll be going back

Yelp
What a nightmare. We were told that there would be a 25 minute wait for a table. We were seated a little more than an hour later. Once seated, we waited another 30 minutes to be visited by the server. After another 30 minutes, we inquired as to when our food might be served. The server very non-chalantly replied "Your ticket hasn't dropped yet-you can do what you want". So after waiting almost 2 hours for breakfast with a hungry 7 and 10 year old, we left having still not been served breakfast. The staff simply could not care less. Not the server, not the host. To add insult to injury, several tables that were seated AFTER us, were waited on before us and received their food. It is very loud and just packed inside. No one even apologized for our experience- they were more like don't let the door hit you in the *ss.

Yelp
Nice little spot in downtown Boise, food was good, service was good. Kind of a small place so I could see having to wait a while if you got there a the wrong time but I'd say it's worth the wait.

Yelp
Ordered the Eggs Benedict which was delicious! Service was quick and super friendly and the restaurant itself was super cute!
