"The eighth floor of the Loeser & Wolff building affords magnificent views of Potsdamer Platz and the city beyond. When Peter Maria Schnurr took over the kitchen, he brought with him his book entitledcuisine passion légère– the very approach that previously garnered two MICHELIN stars during his time at Falco in Leipzig. His cuisine is exceptionally inventive, presenting intriguing dishes that, while complex, are distinguished by their outstanding sense of harmony. There are some real surprises in store, such as celeriac integrated into a smooth ice cream dessert, or a twist on surf and turf with pork and eel, accompanied by pineapple chutney and caviar. Choose between two set menus: "Menü Spezial" and the vegetarian "Vegetable Love" – both can be complemented by the chef's personal classic of "Langoustine 'Annika Maria' 2006". Named after his daughter, this signature dish is served in person by the man himself. Attentive and professional service, with astute wine recommendations from an extensive international list. All of this is yours to enjoy in a stylish setting with an open kitchen and bar. From the seats at the counter, you can watch the chefs in action." - Michelin Inspector

"Stepping out of the lift on the eighth floor of the Loeser & Wolff building, you will immediately be impressed by the sensational view over Potsdamer Platz and the city. Set up in the rooms of the former 40 Seconds Club, this spacious restaurant is really stylish and boasts a bar. You can watch the chefs at work in the open kitchen from the seats at the counter. Chef Jonas Zörner's team conjures up modern, creative cuisine with a focus on quality produce and original ideas. Their set menu changes with the seasons. There is also an impressive wine list featuring small organic producers. Alternatively, you could opt for the house-made kombucha. Fantastic service." - Michelin Inspector

There is no better place than at the bar. We enjoyed watching at chefs table. You can always ask and learn. I love the wine selection and the fridge where you can take a look, what is in stock. The team provided us with an amazing dinner. Service is really pleasant and relaxed. The menu is excellent and meets minimum one star at the guide.

Commanding 8th floor views over Berlin, this restaurant is a gem. The friendly and welcoming staff make you feel at home from the beginning. The food itself was simply amazing, beautiful flavours and textures and the accompanying wines were gorgeous. Extremely satisfied and would definitely return. Superb. PS. Loved the graffiti themed washroom

Best restaurant in Berlin (for me). Living 25 years in Berlin and loving excellent cuisine this one is the top. Creative / very high quality / lovely details / excellent fit from dishes to wine / excellent service / magnificent view from the top floor of the building over the skyline of Berlin. Go for the 2nd star! Always again!! Photos from eo 2022

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Golvet restaurant, and I must say, it was a great experience overall. The restaurant had a variety of different tastes and dishes, which made it a unique and enjoyable dining experience. While the food was a little too salty for my liking, it was still good and well-prepared. I especially enjoyed the wine selection, which was a nice complement to the meal. The environment at Golvet was also very pleasant, with a lively and bustling atmosphere. However, it was a bit crowded. Overall, I highly recommend Golvet for those looking for a unique dining experience with a great wine selection. While the food may be a bit too salty for some, it's still worth checking out for the different tastes and dishes available.

Best experience of my life. This is not only restaurant to eat but it’s an experience of taste and flavour! I was one of that guy always making joke of this kind of restaurant regarding price and portion but I never tried one. I can guarantee you will wake up full and satisfied! The kitchen it’s open view, the chef work in an incredible quite atmosphere, the personal is very friendly but very professional, the sommelier was Italian and suggest multiple wine! If a day I will have the opportunity I would come back for try new menu!

A wonderful weekend night in Golvet. We were lucky it was a clear weather during the day we visited it, enjoy the sunset over the good view of Potsdamer Platz is truly amazing. Speaking of the service, it was warm (German standard) and attentive. Food and drink concept were explained well. We started the evening early when the restaurant was not fully occupied, everything was relaxed. But later when every table was filled, you could see the staff a bit rushing around. The food was excellent but there were some slips to my taste. The presentation on each dish was pretty and colorful fitting to the “spring” menu. The trout was a bit too heavy on smoke taste and the sweetbread was a bit too heavy/greasy, although there was absolutely no gamy taste from the sweetbread as I had been afraid. There was a quite nice selection of cocktails from the bar and the wine paring in my opinion is a must-try. A wide variety of wines companied each dish which were not common to find in regular wine shops. Finally it was glad to get an extra cake at the end of the meal because of leaving addition information of “birthday dinner” at the online reservation.

For a Michelin restaurant, a bit funky place with dark interior, colorful lighting and a beautiful view over Berlin. The menu was a parade of small artistic dishes with an asian touch. Friendly and informal service. Food being presented well and the sommelier Andrea who gave us a-beyond-what-you-can-expect tour in German wines. As wine geeks we really appreciated that they paired wines beyond the conventional regions and names. We had an amazing evening. Compliments to the kitchen and service people from two happy Danes

Yelp
Truly phenomenal. Possibly the best meal of my life. Excellent service from start to finish, every single plate was packed with flavor, and the entire experience was truly that -- an experience. Highly recommend the wine pairing, we were concerned it would be too much wine, but given the experience took us about 4 hours, everything was actually well spaced out. We experienced the Spring menu, and standouts include the scallop w/ caviar and rhubarb desert. The two butters they provide for the table are crazy good too. Try to time your reservation with the sunset - we got there at 7:30 PM and that was perfect!!!
