Beautiful and relaxing experience The gondola ride was such a lovely experience. The atmosphere is very romantic and peaceful, and the details inside the Venetian make you feel like you’re in Italy. The gondolier was great and made the ride even more enjoyable. It’s a perfect activity to relax and enjoy something different in Las Vegas. Highly recommended!

Google
It's a lot more hurried and shorter than I thought. certainly unique experience, but not all that it's chalked out to be. Perhaps a lot depends on the boat driver because the waterway is probably better experienced looking into it from sidewalk than actually floating through it.

Google
I love the experience. There was no line. No wait getting our tickets as easy. Our guy was very friendly. Chatty sounded amazing. I loved them singing. Perfect timing. Nice little ride. I would do this again.

What a wonderful experience! It’s Vegas, of course be prepared to spend some money. I believe we paid $130 for a private ride. We didn’t mind spending the money since we don’t gamble. Gregoreo was so friendly, funny and WOW! An amazing singer. When we come back we will do the outside ride, definitely recommend!

Christina H.

Google
We did a ride outside. It's not long, maybe 15 minutes, and the line to do it wasn't long either. We bought tickets about 45 mins before our time. We enjoyed it though. She sang for us especially to celebrate the anniversary we were here for. The gondaliers are very friendly. They have someone who takes pics for you that are available for purchase after (one for $40 or two for $60).

Google
Loved the experience. May be the closest I will ever go to being in paris and doing it. The employees were great and their voicee were fantastic when they sang along the ride. Unique and feels like your outside when your indoors.

We went on the indoor gondola ride at The Venetian in Las Vegas on a Thursday evening with a couple of friends. To get there, you have to walk all the way to the end of the mall where the ride begins. It was a calm and fun experience as the gondolier sang to us and made jokes along the way. They also shared bits of history, which made the ride more interesting. The setting was beautiful, with painted skies, little bridges, and charming stores around us. It was a peaceful and special moment that made us smile the whole time.

Google
Finding the gondola was very difficult. Once we found it the staff were very nice. Our boater was extremely fun and interactive. He could sing really well also. They do take pictures that range from $40 up to $120, depending on how many you purchase. This was an awesome experience. We loved it!

Yelp
The Gondola Ride at the Venetian was a lot of fun! Looking online, the Venetian was offering discounts on the Gondola ride after 7:00 P.M. Since my husband and I were going to the Grand Canal Shoppes on a Wednesday evening, we decided to book two tickets to the Gondola ride for the indoor experience The special offer includes $29.00 gondola tickets every day from 7:00 P.M until close. You'll have to purchase the tickets in advance. I was able to purchase the tickets a few days prior online through the Venetian website. The Venetian offers indoor and outdoor Gondola rides. Since it was hot outside, we decided to try out the Indoor Gondola ride. The Indoor route is a tour of the Grand Canal Shoppes. You'll get to see all of the beautiful Italian architecture! The Gondolier for our Gondola ride was amazing! He was singing so many amazing songs! It was a wonderful experience! The Gondoliers also sing twice a day in unison along the indoor canal. The times for the special event are 9:45 A.M and 4:20 P.M. The songs celebrate the beginning and end of each day which is pretty cool! The Gondola rides last about 15 minutes. The shared gondolas typically accommodate up to four guests per boat. You can book a private gondola though! Photo packages start at $40.00. My husband and I had wonderful time on the indoor Gondola ride! We'll have to try out the Outdoor Gondola ride when the weather cools down in September or October!

Yelp
My premise here is that having been to Venezia, and lived in Italy until my 40s, this is "touristy- cheesy" fun. Here are the reasons: It's fun to sit in the gondola and dream-pretend you're actually in Venezia and go under the bridge, but the gondoliere we had was singing O Sole Mio with fake Italian words which made me cringe-laugh: 10 for effort on his part. The ride is a short one in the Canal Shoppes at the Venetian resort: there are two rides, inside and outside but they are different tickets. There might be an option to buy them as 2for1 type deals but you will have to check at the ticket counter. The person at the queue line was abysmal and unnecessarily rude: there were six of us together, and while I completely agree with safety precautions and avoiding law suits, rudeness is definitely not necessary. One less star for this behavior and the photographer's, and a bit of another star taken for the pretend Italian singing. I am nitpicking a bit here, but my review is personal, therefore I write about my unique experience or perspective. Walking around the shops and taking the gondolas for a little ride in the 'lagoon' was all part of a busy and great fun weekend that ended way too soon. See you next time Las Vegas!

Yelp
This is one big racket. It's so not worth paying through the nose for a ten minute ride replete with cheesy singing and photo sales. Pay to go, pay more not to be outside, pay for photos, I'm shocked they don't make you pay to get off the boat. Save the money and spend it on cabs to go around town or a massage and pedicure if you were walking.

Yelp
It had been about 10+ years since we last went on a gondola ride at The Venetian...so it was definitely time to do it again. We did the shared ride with another couple we did not know. Our gondolier was Severino. HE WAS AWESOME! So friendly, personable & engaging. I told him how I had requested Nessun Dorma years ago & the gondolier then was not up to the challenge. After singing a few other songs Severino ended with the finale of Nessun Dorma. He not only accepted the challenge, he crushed it. I was so touched that he sang it that I totally forgot to video a little of it.

Yelp
Being a local it's very hard to find a good reason to go to the strip. For my birthday I wanted to try a new experience. The gondola ride has always been an attraction I wanted to try even before I moved to Vegas. I decided to wake up the morning of my birthday and give the gondolas a try. I got there early to avoid all the tourist. Tickets can be purchased starting at 9:30am for the 10:00 ride. They do not offer local discounts which is a bummer because it would drive more locals to come experience. They do offer military discounts (thank you for your service). You have the choice of outdoor or indoor ride. I chose the outdoor ride. It was still early so it wasn't that hot outside. Purchased tickets inside but I had to walk to the first floor through the casino to get to the outside ride. During my walk I was able to experience the gondoliers sing in unison as they march along the indoor canal. You can experience their singing twice a day at 9:45 a.m. and 4:20 p.m. as they celebrate the beginning and end of each day in song. My gondola ride was very peaceful. Lasted about 10 minutes. Very short ride around in a circle. Overall a cool experience to celebrate my birthday

Yelp
Had an amazing time with some friends on the ride. Our gondolier, Luciano, was very friendly. Although he only got to sing 2 songs, it was nice just having conversation with him about his work and about Vegas. For those who plan on riding the gondolas and get Luciano on your ride, you will not be disappointed!

Yelp
I've wanted to do this but until now never really had the chance. It was my partner's first time in Vegas as an adult and we were staying at the Venetian so I figured it was time. Took a bit to find the place, then around the corner for tickets. We were fine to go with another couple so we just booked the 2 seats. They were, in fact, quite friendly and made for good ride mates. We were okay with the price because it's Vegas and it's an attraction. The singing was so much fun and even though it wasn't a long ride it was fun. I don't think I really needed it any longer to be honest. I was glad I finally did it (the indoor one). I would recommend checking it out sometime.
google avatar

Rashmi G.

Yelp
After having been to Vegas many times and seeing others in the gondola rides at the Venetian, we decided we had to do this at least once. Well, unfortunately, one and done it shall be. Given the cost of the ride and duration, it's not worth the money. Instead, spend some time walking around the Venetian and you'll get the same vibes. The singing was nice but unfortunately, didn't make up for the small talk and couple of random facts. This was a pass for us.
google avatar

Sara K.

Yelp
Highly recommend doing both the indoor and outdoor ride (they do not connect and are purchased separately). Both offer professional photos and a nice package that includes a gorgeous quality frame. The staff is so friendly, and your operator will sing to you along the way! The outdoor is modeled exactly as it is in Italy. I'm not sure about inside as that wasn't mentioned. Both rides give a different little view and we really enjoyed both. Everyone was all smiles on both rides, truly!
google avatar

Deborah G.

Yelp
Very nice experience, we enjoyed the romantic Gondola ride thru the Venetian. Only took about five minutes to get on the boat
google avatar

Kelsey I.

Yelp
Angela was our gondola "driver" and beautiful singer. She made the experience perfectly lovely. The ride was pretty pricey, plus we tipped, but it's one of my favorite memories with my husband during the trip. It ended up being around $80 for two of us (not private) not including tip, but I was glad because then we took turns with the other people in the boat taking pictures so we didn't have to buy pictures. The ride was less than 15 minutes, but it feels very special and the singers will sing themed Italian songs. Truly lovely experience.
google avatar

Jennifer D.

Yelp
It's definitely pricy, but a cool attraction. I've done both the inside and outside and I personally perfect the outside. It's cool to see the strip from a different perspective. Our tour guide/gondola operator was super nice and had a great singing voice. I personally would suggest doing the private one unless you have four people, then it doesn't matter.
google avatar

Gene H.

Yelp
We had a great time and really enjoyed this experience, a must if your at the Venetian.
google avatar

Monique O.

Yelp
Honestly, as a local, this has been on my todo list for so many years. My husband and I finally decided to try it after dinner inside the Venetian. To be honest, after we purchased our tickets, I started to get nervous, because the whole experience looked a little cringy. Sitting in a gondola, with two other strangers, while a stranger sings to me, inside a hotel/casino modeled after Italy... lol what gives? But let me tell you, once our guide helped me in the gondola, and broke the "awkward ice" I had such a beautiful time. I wish I could remember his name, but he was fantastic. His voice was absolutely amazing! I don't know that I need to do it again, but I definitely recommend as a date night or tourist activity.
google avatar

Valerie S.

Yelp
Length of ride. The outside ride was a small area and a quick ride. Only good part was the singing. $80 for 2 and it lasts less than 15 mins

Yelp
I had previously taken a gondola ride with friends. We enjoyed it and thought our family would enjoy as well. I want to give this five star review not only for the fun but also for the safety at this place! My family member experienced a medical emergency while we're were waiting to board. Not only do the people that work here provide amazing entertainment but they are also amazing in an emergency. They helped us get the medical attention we needed all while ensuring the other guests could safely board and making sure we had what we needed. I was so impressed with the preparedness and swift action. I will be forever grateful and will always recommend the gondola for the fun and the excellent customer service. BTW everyone in the family is okay and the medical attention was perfection. Thank you to everyone here!
google avatar

Haylee M.

Yelp
Pretty nice experience and vibe is lovely too. Gondolier sending behind makes it so peaceful. Went for the shared board because it was so so expensive to get a private one. Probably better luck getting one later in the evening when there isn't much rush, You pay for the shared ride but there's no one else there so you get a private one. Ride was really short - maybe like 10 minutes or so, so it really felt like a bit of a ripoff there :(

Yelp
Been wanting to try this for a very long time now. My cousin and mom's friend were visiting from out of town and wanted to ride the Gondola. We went on a tuesday and it was $34 per person. The only con about this is that they don't offer Nevada residents any discount. You have an option to do the Indoor ride or Outdoor ride. We opted for the Indoor ride since it was way too hot outside. We had Rocco and he was amazing. His voice was so beautiful. The ride took about 10 minutes. It was a great experience.
google avatar

Yelp
Riding the gondola ride at the Venetian was one of my first times ever doing it, even though I stay at Palazzo all the time. You can pick either inside the shops or outside where it is facing the strip. I think either one just depends on if you want people looking at you or not. The outside feels like fewer people are looking at you. So decided to go to the outside one. You buy the tickets inside the shop's area though and then walk towards the outside. The water is clean compared to the one in Venice. We rode with four people just for fun since none of us had done it. The guy that was giving us the ride on the boat was also singing different songs which were kind of nice. Overall it's a short ride and you don't really see much. But I guess it sort of is similar to Venice minus the scenery.
google avatar

Vincent Artemio E.

Yelp
We've all seen the gondolas! Well, we finally stayed at the gorgeous Palazzo Hotel and we were given our Grazie Rewards cards. I saw the Gondola Ride listed and decided to book our ride. :-) Yes, you have a choice of outside the hotel or inside the hotel. I figured that the inside of the hotel actually offered a better opportunity to people watch at a closer distance. Our gondolier was very sweet and we enjoyed seeing the couples board their gondolas especially those couples who had just been married! Yes, the ride isn't very long. It's an experience that is debatable considering the cost and length. You can also choose to either have a gondola to yourself or share a gondola. FYI: The restaurant with the view of the canal is called Canonita. Enjoy your ride and your visit!
google avatar

Carnita M.

Yelp
I had been wanting to do the gondola ride at the Venetian for so long but never knew anyone else interested in going on this ride. I ended up going solo recently and absolutely loved it! I purchased my reservation in the afternoon for an outdoor ride at the end of the night (11:30pm). Tickets can be bought either inside the Grand Canal Shoppes or outside the hotel, both near the the docks where you hop on the gondolas. I ended up taking a walk to the outdoor gondolas after I purchased my ticket so that I wouldn't get lost or late later on that night. The ticket I bought for a shared gondola cost $34 if I recall correctly, but I ended up being the last guest and getting my own private gondola! The weather was perfect that night and the views were really pretty. My gondolier (bummed I forgot his name!) was awesome too, knowing when to talk about the replica Italian buildings and when not to (when I was taking video). He also sang a few songs which added to the ambiance. I felt so bad because I ended up leaving my cash in another purse that I had left in my room. Make sure to bring some cash to tip your gondolier! Highly recommend the outdoor ride on a warm night!
google avatar

Nancy P.

Yelp
This was something I always wanted to do and we finally did it! Our gondolier was so friendly and funny and made the ride a blast for us! The ride was short but very romantic. They even have a special white gondola for couples to renew their vows. It's a special booking. There is also an outside ride and an inside ride. We opted for the inside one that passed all the shops. The gondolier stops at certain stops to serenade you. Since it was our anniversary, we received some love songs, including mi amore. Pro tip: buy the tickets in advance and they will slot a time for you. Avoid after 5pm, that's when the folks get out of their conventions and the lines start getting a lot longer. They allow you to take photos with your own iPhone.
google avatar

Joannie B.

Yelp
The Gandola ride was fun but not in the hot sun. The ticket is $37 per person it was a weekday and there weren't any lines at all. They have a photographer but you have to pay for the pictures; of course. The lady who was rowing serenaded my friend and I with some songs lol and she wasn't bad. The space is pretty but I think it will be better in the night or when the sun goes down. It is a very short ride only 30 min I believe around the short space, which seems less than that. Getting to the uber was horrible because, they kept canceling and we didn't know where to meet them. This is a big issue in Vegas I see. To get to the Gandola you have to go through the hotel; and there's two of Gandola rides one outside and one Inside. I don't remember which hotel.
google avatar

Dolores D.

Yelp
You go on this one time and never again. To much money and literally not glamours. They do take photos of you and that's a extra charge at the end. I surprised the boat didn't tip but they do keep it steady and help you in and out.
google avatar

Elvira G.

Yelp
My hunny and i had a great time. Yes, it is expensive for the short 5 minute ride but we really enjoyed being sang to and just floating in the boat. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it was a great experience for us both for a one time thing. We chose to be paired with another couple and it was a much more affordable rate. It worked out because we got to take pictures of each other and did not need to buy the ones they take of you before you're leaving the dock. When we went they had immediate availability for indoor rides. The outdoor rides were scheduling about two hours out.
google avatar

Zac F.

Yelp
I'm giving 5 stars to our gondola singer Augusto and for our pictures. I'm giving 1 star for the booking experience being "in person only." 2-3 stars for length of the ride being so brief (which in fairness is mentioned on the website page). It just didn't feel like good value for the money. Am I glad I did it? Sure. Will I be back to do it again? Not likely.
google avatar

Sherry T.

Yelp
Pretty fun experience never been on a gondola before. Went with my little brother, kinda pricey for a 10 minute ride around water and two tunnels. Niko was super friendly and sang us songs. Views were cool, could see some of the strip and a lot of the Venetian.
google avatar

MC G.

Yelp
Price for this is on the high side, but then everything in Vegas is. We loved this! Our boat person was so nice and friendly. They had an amazing voice. It was organized well so the lane moved fast. Would recommend.
google avatar

Scott K.

Yelp
We were in the area and the wife wants to try the experience. A little expensive but the Gondolier was nice and had a nice voice. For me I'd prefer the real one in Venice. Maybe one day.

Jennifer W.

Yelp
This is our second Gondola Ride at the Venetian. The other one was 17 years earlier. Both times the experience was great. The Gondolier worked with my (now) husband to propose to me 17 years ago. Beautiful singing voices, great scenery. First ride we did indoors, this time around we did outdoors.
google avatar

R B.

Yelp
An enjoyable time with the love of my life. Our gondolier (Giorgio) was humorous, pleasant, a fine singer and knew the right amount of silence and pointing out special sights along the route. The water and spitting fountains along the route was relaxing and cool and kissing under the bridges was a great way to spend our ten-minute ride. Giorgio took one last spin at the end to sing us a final song. While the price does seem a bit high, we appreciated being able to spend our time as just the two of us. Thank you for the memories.
google avatar

Vivian D.

Yelp
I always have to come by and watch the gondolas at the Venetian when in Vegas. I've never been to Italy but this place just fills you with Nostalgia.
google avatar

Mary M.

Yelp
Based on the outside ride The Good: Romantic & Relaxing Great Opera Performance Interactive The Bad: The female at the ticket booth - absolutely rude for no reason The price $40/person for a very short- 5 mins or less The water was filthy
google avatar

Miles G.

Yelp
Severino was phenomenal. Best Golndlier at the Venitian. Incredible voice, extremely personable, and a top notch professional. 100% Italian, which makes the experience ever more authentic feeling at the hotel. Severino is also a great ambassador for the Venitian and Las Vegas. He provided me with food recommenations at the hotel and in the city that panned out to be excellent.
google avatar

Cynthia M.

Yelp
Cons: I was expecting a lot more. Our singer was having a very off day. You could barely hear him. And he really didn't want to sing! Pros: Military get a discount You get 4 or 5 photos taken before the ride. At the end of the ride you learn only 2 can fit in the cute frame and so you aren't supposed to take photos of the photos they take obviously.
google avatar

Sheila D.

Yelp
We did the indoor ride which is not very long but a cool experience. This was a test run for the real thing in the fall!
google avatar

John R.

Yelp
It's goofy, it is way too short, it is way too expensive--especially if you get the photos but if you are here you have got to do it. My tips would be to do the inside instead of the outside ride. Spend the extra bucks (if you need to) and make it a private ride. Finally, take some photos or video when you first get in but then put the phone down, sit back, relax. Take it all in. Pretend you were transported to Italy. Speak to your boat captain (is that what they are called?) and listen to them sing when they do.
google avatar

Resha M.

Yelp
Great experience hands down Our guide was very nice he sang opera to us in French & happy Birthday to my fiance. That definitely gave us the real "Italy" vybe.
google avatar

Roxanne S.

Yelp
My hubby and I did this for two reasons: We are in Vegas for the first time together and we've never been to Venice. We did the outdoor gondola ride and it was nice because there was a chill in the air and it was in the evening. The view of the Venetian hotel was nice, but that's essentially the view. Our boat "captain" was nice and informative. He would tell us things about the limited sites and tradition of riding in the gondola (I don't want to spoil it if you decide to go). The reason for the low rating was all about the price. It was $150 for a 5 minute ride. Then you have to pay extra for the pictures and were $20 per shot (which they took 4 pics). So, glad we did it, but if I really would have known what I was getting, I would not have spent the money.
google avatar

Dawn C.

Yelp
We are from Minnesota so when we visited over Christmas and it was 65 outside, we booked an outdoor gondola ride. We had a lovely and friendly guide who sang beautifully through the tunnels - I wish I could post the video here. He was worth the cost and a healthy tip for sure.
google avatar

Robert E.

Yelp
The Gondoler was awesome. Great singing and very interactive with us, but it is a bit short on distance and time for the price. Still I enjoyed it because of the personal interaction.
google avatar

Chloe B.

Yelp
The ride outdoors was not worth the price. It was one lap around a ton of construction, completely blockading the view. The only reason the ride might have been ten minutes is because of the 10 second pauses to "chat". We rode as a family of four and the $200 was too much. On top of the price to just ride, you are strongly "suggested" to leave a tip $20 or above. Plus, the pictures they take at the beginning were gorgeous if you don't mind a giant crane in the background. Two stars only cause the guide was nice (mind you he just wanted that tip).
google avatar

Bri B.

Yelp
This was a very nice addition to my Las Vegas trip. Our gondolier was talented and had a beautiful voice. It was even better that he was a black man! So very nice. My only downside was that it wasn't long enough for my liking for $39.

Deb L.

Yelp
Huge waste of money. Over priced, super short( it's a small circle outside) and awkward with the singing and weird comedian small talk from boat driver person. Never ever again.
google avatar

Peace L.

Yelp
I use to think this was a silly ride but I was wrong. It's actually a good ride for the experience and most importantly it's a great place to take your guests too.
google avatar

Jason R.

Yelp
I've been looking forward to the Gondola Ride, for 7 years! I visited LV and was told this was a must do, but my final night when I got here, it was too late and they had closed for the night. How sad; this time, one of the biggest reasons I chose The Palazzo, was so I'd be right next to it and wouldn't miss out. I purchased my ticket early in the day ($30) because of the Gracie Rewards. So don't forget to have your card with you, if you're staying at The Palazzo/Venetian. When I returned for my a lot, I had to wait a bit, but I didn't mind. I got to see how the Gondola worked and hear some Italian singing. Finally, when it was our turn, I got to hop aboard and met two others because the boat is for four people, unless you purchase the two other seats. I saw a lot of complaints about how short the ride was, but I felt it was more than ample. I didn't time him but I'd say we got at least 15 minutes or more. He sang his songs, gave an overview of the Canal, explained the similarities with Italy, etc.. All and all, I was very pleased. I'd definitely suggest going at night. For one, it's not as hot, but also seems like a much better viewing experience at night.

Yelp
The Gondola rides at the Venetian have always appealed to me whenever I have visited Vegas in the past. For whatever reason it's taken this long to actually experience it and honestly it was such a fun time! My group and I went on a Monday afternoon around 1pm and there was no line. You can make reservations online which I recommend in case there is a wait to purchase tickets! We only had two customers in front of us at the ticket counter so it moved pretty fast. The ride is $34 per person for the non-private gondola. Which isn't too bad. We purchased the tickets and made our way out to where the Gondola's were. There was a woman there scanning tickets then we were instructed to wait for the next boat. Once they got us inside a photographer took a few photos before we were off for our ride. Our Gondolier's name was Isabella and she was amazing the entire time! Sang a few songs for us and made some small talk while we coasted around the canals in the Venetian. I do think for the price of $34 per person the ride was a bit short. I'd say it was about 15 minutes. But honestly everything in Las Vegas is overpriced so I'm not really surprised. I did enjoy the ride and adored our Gondolier. I think the Gondola rides is something everyone should experience at least once if visiting the Venetian! Also, they do offer those photos taken at the beginning of the ride for sale in their shop. $34 per picture or $65 for the entire package which includes the print outs and digital copies!
google avatar

Alane O.

Yelp
Great romantic experience but you could get much more bang for your buck anywhere else. I suggest posting up on the bridge over the canal and watch the suckers (yes thats me, I'm suckers) go by. You can hear all the gondoliers sing not just your one and save yourself $156 dollars which is the cost of a private ride that lasts 5 minutes. You get more bang for your buck riding the ferris wheel and you don't have to wear a seat belt.

Yelp
The workers here don't want to work. After they charged me the full price, I asked if any discounts are available for Grazie players card, they said yes 20% but that it was too late because I didn't show them the card earlier. Seems lame if that is actual policy.
