"Gondolen is a classic wining and dining destination, recently reopened after years of restorations. The stunning view from the elevated location high above the port and the Old Town is the perfect backdrop for power lunches, business dinners, tete-a-tetes, or afternoon cocktails. Signature dishes regularly appear on the menu, including strömmingsmacka (pan fried herring on dark rye bread with pickled cucumber and potato puree), vendace roe from Kalix with potato cream and croutons, fish gratin with poached halibut and Champagne sauce, and turbot on the bone with butter and poached vegetables from the restaurant’s garden.
