Tuesday, blues day, or maybe an off day. Safe to say "The Source" during the week is slooooow! So wouldn't you maximize profits by minimizing the number of employees you have working behind the counter? Or at least have the courtesy of greeting your customers when you have very little customers in the first place?
Here's the problem with ordering through a screen, no service, no hello, no establishing rapport for a loyal customer database, and bigger tips. Instead you create a gathering hole of employees choosing to converse with each other in the corner of an open counter, that takes a glance every now and then to see if you placed your order. No, "let me know if you have any questions", or "is there something we can help you with?" And finally, a simple "hi, welcome."
Oolong tea was decent, only because the sweetness level was over powering and I could only taste a small amount of the tea... even at 50% (recommended) sweetness level. Boba pearls, and the peach pearls tasted old.
So maybe, just maybe, the timing and day was off. Safe to say that 4:30 on a Tuesday is DEFINITELY not the right day to come here. THAT is the only TIP I would give for this place.
