I ordered the Marble Mango (Large, 50% sweet, no ice, coconut jelly) — the same drink I’ve had multiple times before — but what I received was completely different from what’s shown on the menu or what I’ve gotten in the past. It didn’t have the usual layers or flavor balance that the Marble Mango normally has. If the store was out of ingredients, I wish they had just let me know instead of giving a totally different drink. I wouldn’t have minded switching to something else, but it’s frustrating to pay full price and get something that doesn’t match what I ordered. I really like Gong Cha and usually have a good experience, so I hope this was just a one-time mistake — but better communication with customers would go a long way.

I want to share my experience from my visit tonight, which took place between 10:00 and 11:00 p.m. I stopped by this store since I was in the area, but I usually prefer the one at Marina Pacific, as it's closer to my home on Second Street in Naples Island. The service and atmosphere at Marina Pacific are far superior to those at this location, which is why I tend to steer clear of this area and stick with the more upscale vibe of my usual spot. As soon as my cousin and I walked in, the two ladies behind the counter did not greet us. Honestly, it felt like they were more wrapped up in their own conversations, laughing and playfully bickering about the music, rather than focusing on their work. It seems like they could really use a manager to oversee things during that shift. When my order, numbered 69, was ready, I jokingly pointed out the number to my cousin. I noticed one of the workers giggling as she dashed to the back. However, when I finally got my drinks, the staff member called out the number and quickly walked away without any interaction. Overall, I don't plan on returning to this location. The young staff seemed to lack the respect and professionalism that customers expect, no matter the hour. From now on, I'll be sticking to the Marina Pacific location. On a positive note, the drinks were just as great as always! (:

I had an amazing experience here! The drink was absolutely fantastic—refreshing and perfectly made. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. The place was spotless, including the bathroom, which is always a big plus. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of service and experience. Overall, it’s clear they take pride in what they do, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

A decent tea place given they have a lot of locations around SoCal. I think the tea is quite light compared to many places and you can feel it even more when ordering less sweet. Basil seed is worth adding if you prefer healthier options. Snacks were pretty good. I had the new mochi nuggets which came in 3 flavors. All of them are pretty good if you like sweets.

They had a special when you buy two large orders you get a keychain. The boba tea was okay, same as any other, glad they had an option for less sugar. It's a self-serve order using the kiosk. The wait was decent. Small indoor dine in, We ordered to go.

Seasonal menu has been released at Gongcha. It is given in a pretty gingerbread jar. I ordered Strawberry Milk Tea, and it‘s so pretty and tastes good. $7 happiness.

The service here is wonderful.The workers are most definitely the nicest Boba employees I've ever encountered.Plus, the Boba is really good.Looking at the menu, i see so many divers choices from smoothie to milk tea.

Ordered a Oolong Milk Tea and a Taro Smoothie today. The pearls aren't too sweet and we always get our milk teas with little to no added sweetness, overall they did a really good job 👍. When we entered the boba shop we used the order terminal and the order was sent to the employees behind the counter, you can order with them in person too. It is nice to have the option though if you don't feel like interacting. Thanks Gong Cha staff, you always make great beverages. 🍵🧋☺️

Gong Cha is one of those spots that you can always count on for a solid drink. This spot is open til midnight everyday for those late night big backtivities. There are a good amount of parking spots in the plaza. Inside, they have a decent amount of seating with additional seating in their outdoor patio area too. All of the staff here are chill and welcoming. I usually get a wintermelon or yogurt drink here and it always hits!

I've definitely driven by this place many times, just haven't had the chance to stop by. It is a very cute boba spot! I love the decorations, it really makes the place pop. The lights just really make the place welcoming. I always get my drinks with less sugar and less ice. I would say the drinks are decent. Not the worse I've had, but definitely not the best. I would say the tea wasn't the best I've had, it was a bit watery. With the amount of boba shops near by I wouldn't rank this place too high, but definitely worth a try.

Lovveee the inside look of this place! So decorative. I got my favorite, a Thai tea. It was delicious!! This is a great spot to visit for teas/boba. Seating inside or can take to go. My drink was made fast and the staff are always very friendly.

This location is pretty nice and a quiet plaza. There's plenty of parking on the weekend. They made our drinks pretty fast. It's a contactless touch machine to place your order. The place itself is pretty small, but there are four seats if you decide to stay and hang out a little bit with friends.

The service is exceptional, they have really great specialty drinks and everything on their menu looks so good! The place is so cute, and very aesthetic! Our drinks were so good and we shared a strawberry waffle it smelled so good and it was really tasty! The owners of this place did such a wonderful job with it and I would definitely come back again!

Stopped by and got the brown sugar milk tea. It was really delicious. The employee was very friendly and efficient. The decor in the restaurant was a bit busy for my preference but I'd recommend.

Download the app, and order! You know when they say things happen for a reason? Well, I ordered 8 drinks and received 7 and mochi waffles instead! I've had a long day so I didn't even realize the error. I had 2 Thai teas but 1 was mistakenly swapped for the waffles! I was too excited when she said I get a free keychain, then offered two hehe anyway, best mistake ever! I've been looking for a place that can fix my mochi cravings, and I am so glad I got them today! We absolutely love the mochi waffles! Will be ordering again! And again! And again! Sorry to whoever was waiting on the mochi waffles, but thanks for ordering because you helped me find my fix love Gong Cha! Their grapefruit boba drink is my FAVORITE!! The pulp is so good! I don't usually get pulp in many other fruit boba teas so this one always stands out. We also tried their lemon basil seed one and it was good!!

Stopped by to grab a drink while visiting this plaza on Tuesday. It was empty, probably because it was a random Tuesday afternoon. There was one worker in the store who seemed busy in the back. She was kind enough to let me know I can see photos of each drink via their kiosk. After a few scrolls back and forth, I chose their wintermelon with milk foam. (iirc, total was $6) The drink came out in a cute cup and had paper straws available at the counter. The shop itself was very cute with a ton of post it notes left on the wall from customers and cute halloween decorations. The drink was okay. I can't say it was bad, but also wouldn't say it was good. Very mediocre for me. With many tea shops available in Cerritos, this spot probably wouldn't be my first pick, but open to trying something else if I happen to be in the plaza.

Came here after Korean BBQ down the street and really appreciated them being open late. The drink itself was pretty good and I wish I got boba with it. They didn't go overboard with the brown sugar which I enjoyed. The environment was very welcoming so we ended up staying here for over two hours just talking and having our drinks. The interior was very cute as well, and had little neon signs over every table. Cute place!

Gong cha has never really impressed me but once in a while I end up here out of convenience. $2 green tea - good for what it is and for the price ! Lemon Ai-Yu - likes this! Too expensive but not overly sweet because of the lemon rind Wintermelon with basil seeds - too sweet. I like the flavor enough but way too sweet and overpriced. Prices here are too high. Get the $2 drinks, they're worth it Waited for the machine to dispense receipt but it never did. I guess the machines don't provide a receipt. The machine does charge a small service fee which kind of sucks and they automatically add a tip which you can remove manually. Considered a 3 stars for the price and so so flavors but I'll be generous.... 3.5 stars...

Always good times when ordering drinks here. I do like their boba drinks and never had a bad one. Service folks are nice and its a small little shop so not much place to sit, which is fine as most times I go in and leave with my drink.

The drinks are very refreshing and tasty, and the servers are very sweet and helpful too. I almost made a mistake on my drink by adding nearly 175% sweetness plus additional syrup and the server double checked with me to make sure the order was correct, it wasn't and she allowed me to redo the order. She saved me from drinking straight up liquid sugar and even gave me an extra biscoff biscuit, super sweet lady. The store itself has such a cute and cozy ambiance with hundreds of different post it note from previous costumers on the wall as cute decorations. Overall an amazing experience.

My friend and I were in the mood for something sweet and we decided to try out their yogurt drinks which seemed the most appealing to us. We had gotten the mango and peach and we were very impressed by how good it was with the right amount of sweetness. Service was very fast and we didn't wait that long, I can't wait to come back and get my fix again

Awful. Not fresh tea, not creamy and not tasty. I took one sip and threw it out. The woman working was nice...but wouldn't go back.

There's a convenient kiosk to order your drink. They had a variety of options and like their tea selections. The boba tastes very fresh and I like that you can adjust the sweetness and ice. I like boba places like this that use real tea leaves instead of powder. The place is small and has more of a pick up order but not really to hangout. I came here after getting my treatment done at Luvinage a couple doors down.

I haven't been here since the pandemic around 2021 (I got turned away because it was mobile order only and I couldn't get my phone to download the app haha). Anyway years later I'm here for the FF14 collab! It's crazy busy compared to ANY boba tea I typically go to, so for a popular collab I recommend ordering through the app (but calling first to make sure the collab item you want is still in stock). It's been a 30 min wait and the mobile estimates early. I don't blame them, it's too ladies making 3 drinks at a time and some people are ordering 12! They're very nice and very busy but did answer my questions while I was there. The place is small, there's a few tables and barstools but I don't hang out at a boba shop, I take my drink and go. Drinks: I can't tank 3 drinks by myself so it's been slow going through them. I enjoyed the peach oolong with recommended sweetness.

I love how cute they are valentines cup is, and the drink is delish! I met the owner who happens a to be Cambodian, what are the odds of meeting more Cambodian small business in Long Beach? Just jk, the odds are high to meet Cambodian, but family owned business must be supported! Also, the owner is very friendly and kind to explained the procedure of different flavors. She's helped us take some group photo in her nicely decorated store! Service this is great! Drinks are quick and delicious! There's are 4 recommended flavors for the valentines cups (passion fruits, taro, strawberry, and the other flavor you need to find out yourself lol) Btw the valentines cups brought me and my friends a lot of laughter!

Open late, fun ambiance, friendly staff, lots of parking! Drinks were delish and the tapioca pearls were cooked perfectly!

For my birthday month drink, I decided upon the wintermelon tea, easy sweet/ice. The drink was refreshing on a warm August night. What sets Gong Cha apart from their competitors is that they are open late, till 11pm (11:30pm Fri-Sat). Besides indoor seating, Gong Cha also has al fresco seating, complete with fake grass & music to vibe to. Gong Cha is located next to a donut shop, with parking readily available. Gong Cha quenches my thirst every time my birthday month comes up. They pump out respectable drinks, and I think I'll order one of their London Fog drinks, next time I come around.

Gong cha is one of the most aesthetic and prettiest boba spots I've ever been to! Only been here a few times and it's always so good. My go to is the brown sugar milk tea with boba and creme brulee and its the perfect sweet dessert. They have a patio area with string lights too (not pictured). Very pretty at night. They have a kiosk where you can place orders now. Highly recommend!

I've seen this place across from larger plazas full of restaurants and tea places and always thought man it might be too small...I think i am right...but the tea here is decent but they do use powder not fresh stuff for a lot of their flavored teas.... They have some outdoor seating and some indoor seating it's a quaint place and some of the things need repair like the tables are kinda bent a bit that are attached to the wall as if somebody sat or leaned on them. Decor is not bad but overall the tea is good....the seating isn't great not a ton though.... I got the QQ Passionfruit tea which I rarely order.

A hot day makes me want a cold and sweet treat all the time. Quick line to place the order, staff here are quite efficient and polite. I got brain freeze from todays choices yogurt smoothies with the Pearl jelly - got them half sweet so at least my sugar isn't spiking too much, and it's still quite tasty. Many shelves of cute tchotchkes and what nots , made me wonder what we would use to describe these things if we had no word like cute. Some outdoor seating available but it was a true scorching day so I quickly got back into my car with the air conditioner blasting out at the lowest possible temperature. The drinks stayed chilled and slushy.

This is a very nicely decorated boba shop and it offers so many different options in terms of drinks or if you want to grab a snack as well! I got their new seasonal drink, the Thailand Mango Smoothie with boba and it was so perfectly sweet. I really enjoyed how refreshing it was! Service was great, they prepared my drink quickly so I didn't have to wait too long.

First time at this location. I just had my usual. Mango Yogurt smoothie. It's still my favorite drink.

Tip: The manager verified that the Yelp check-in coupon is not eligible at this location. They recommended downloading their app for a good discount. Parking: There's a good size of available parking. It's easy to find parking. They have a cute exterior patio set for people to drink outside. When I came in, the interior felt stuffy. Not sure if the A/C was broken. Panda Milk Tea (milk tea, boba and agar jelly): Tastes good, very straightforward as what you would get with the ingredients.

Cute tea house with great service. I went there specifically for the creme brûlée mochi waffle. The waffle was delicious. The cream was yummy. Unfortunately, there was no brûlée as advertised on the menu so I was disappointed.

Oh we love the flavors and the service is fast and staff always friendly. I once made a mistake and didnt add boba to my order so i asked the lady if she can add the boba and ill pay for it but she said its fine and she will add the boba at no charge (:

I came to try out the special promotion heart shaped valentine drinks. They come in these cute little heart shaped cups. It definitely was funny way to drink boba especially if you don't use the straw. I got all four special flavors and would say they were all good. 25% sweetness hit the spot and gong cha always has some of the best tastes. This location is no different to the many others I've been too, it's good drinks, solid service.

The drinks are enjoyable and well-prepared, though they do tend to feel a bit heavy afterwards.

Great service, the workers and employees are very kind. The interior of the boba shop is very warm, and the boba tea is definitely tasty. It's a nice little spot to stop by and enjoy a quick drink before continuing your day.

I ordered a Taro milk tea with 50% ice and 70% sweetness with boba and lychee. The drink was still sweet for me but maybe because it was less ice. Toppings are priced reasonably at 65cents. I've seen other places charge 75cents to 90cents. It's cool you can order snacks like fries, and popcorn chicken. Not all boba spots offer food. I can't rate the food because I didn't order any. The inside is a tiny spot with three tables and one long one. Max capacity 18. There's outdoor dining. It's a cute area decorated with faux plants and lights. I recommend this spot for the drinks and a place to hang out. Be aware you may not find a place to sit.

We come here quite often and the last few times our orders were wrong. Ordered a matcha smoothie picked it up and it's a mango smoothie?? Brought it back in they took the drink and made the matcha. Come in today ordered two matcha smoothies with boba, pick up the drinks no boba and nearly half the drink is foam. Brought it back in and all they do is open up the drink and plop like a few pieces of boba on the TOP of the drink. The shop is empty and there's 5 employees working. Lazy as fck!

Hadn't tried this place before! Now I'm glad I did! I'm a huge fan of taro & chocolate milk teas & slushies/smoothies. So, I of course bought the Milk Foam Taro Milk Tea. And boy did I not regret it. I don't know what it is about that foam, but it made the drink taste SOOO much better for some reason! The service was also pretty quick! Props to them for playing Tagalog music too!

If I could give this a lower rating I would. Went there for boba with friends last night. Our drinks were okay, nothing really special. The only reason I'm giving them one star is cause they're open til 11:30 so my friends and I got to chill for a while. The ambiance was ok too. Service was nothing extraordinary. Here's the thing that bothered me the most, I ordered popcorn chicken and it was SOOO disappointing. The chicken was VERY DRY and hard. I'm not sure if it was overcooked or it might have had freezer burn. It was so dry we could barely bite it and the inside was sort of black. It felt like we were eating pebbles. The skewers couldn't even poke through the chicken. It literally crumbled as you bit into it, and it wasn't cheap either. Waste of money. Never again!!!!! UPDATE: Owner reached out, apologised and sent a refund asap. Appreciate the quick response. Hope they can make better food.

After trying other locations, I found that the drinks here did not have the same quality or presentation as the other locations. The store is well decorated and cute with its cherry blossom trees. I placed an order through the website and came in early for the pickup. Near the door, there was a grub hub order pick-up station on the right side. I didn't see another visible pickup station so I waited at the entrance. After checking in with the staff there was some confusion on my order. I did get it sorted but when I got my drink right away I knew the quality of the drink was incorrect based on the appearance. The drink normally comes with brown sugar around the sides of the cup which was not there. The milk tea tasted more like a London fog than a black milk tea. Overall the drink was watery and was missing the sweetness and brown sugar around the cup.

Matcha tasted cheap ( not ceremonial grade) and the vanilla powder they added didn't have much flavor. I paid Close to $7 ( 16 oz worst match drink) Gongcha in Korea, which has about 700 locations make decent boba drinks. I don't get why franchisees in US can't produce the same quality drinks. Bad Matcha

Very small place but don't let that deter you! Got the strawberry milk tea and the taro milk tea ( for a friend ) in the cute gingerbread men bottles for the Christmas season! Adorable by the way. The drinks were really great! Loved mine as I love almost anything strawberry. Sweet but not overly so. The employees were very nice and the service was quick. Will definitely be returning in the future!

LOVE IT ! The one in Cerritos is A1! And I tried the boba in the Bakersfield location it is also delicious and clean will be going back !

Just picked up a few drinks from here and they all taste like water. So disappointing and such a waste of money.
