The Best Restaurants in the Domain in Austin

"The Taiwanese bubble tea chain opened its third Austin location at the Domain, serving made-to-order bubble teas, coffees, and the like. Takeout orders can be placed in person or online; there are indoor dine-in services." - Erin Russell

Came here on an extremely hot day and needed something to cool us down, we were not disappointed! The ordering process is super fun and everything is very customizable, there’s a screen where you can basically build your perfect boba tea. They have a bunch of size options, flavors, sweetness levels and extras. I ended up getting strawberry milk tea and my girlfriend got matcha. The strawberry was great, super sweet (how I like it). Now I’m not really a matcha fan personally but I definitely don’t hate it but I have gotta say this matcha milk tea literally tasted like skunk. Girlfriend thought it was alright, I thought it was awful. Last thing, I recommend asking for more ice, both of ours weren’t very cold which was disappointing considering it was like one hundred degrees outside. 🧋

Hot, thirsty, and wandering the Domain? Gong-cha’s got your back. I usually go for my trusty milk tea with boba, but this time I switched it up with a mango milk slushy—no regrets. It was icy, creamy, and basically a hug for my taste buds on a scorching day. Also, can we talk about the sticky notes on their drink menu? Whoever’s in charge of those deserves a raise. They had me laughing while I waited for my slushy. I would definitely recommend. See pics of the place and the menu (and the hilarious sticky notes).

Google
i usually never leave reviews but the staff were so rude for no reason to me. i was waiting for so long for my drink at least 10-15 mins and multiple parties that had ordered after me had already gotten their drinks. i got worried thinking that maybe they had said my name and didn’t hear or my order didn’t go through so i started checking some of the drinks on the counter i picked two drinks up because they looked like my order one of them was part of my order and the other wasn’t so i put it back on the counter, honest mistake on my part. but the staff were so rude about it and made comments towards me out loud. it was all just incredibly rude and didn’t sit well with me. 🤷‍♀️

Kids always love Boba Tea… but I & my cousin in-law got 2 big cups of coffee Good place to visit for take-out some drinks (many choices)

Google
Polite, quick service. Not a lot of seating indoors. Order at a screen/at the counter, and you can select your preferred levels for ice & sugar, and customize with different jelly/pearl options. I’ll be sure to try some seasonal offering if I’m back; I got the lemon drink and was disappointed to find that it was basically $7 lemonade with some jelly and lemon zest.

Drink: 4/5 they have variety of yummy drinks. Best part is to adjust sugar and ice as per your taste. They forgot to add my mango pearl which I paid extra for. They don’t give you free pearl. Service: 1/5. We waited 15/20 mins for 5 drinks. Server aren’t friendly. Atmosphere: 1/5 NO trash can, NO toilet, small place, bit dirty. Parking: Free Parking lot Behind Indian Street Food Restaurant (across gong cha). NOTE: Maybe order early in app to save your time or order in store , go around domain and pick up later.

Google
I've had a lot of strawberry smoothies throughout my life, but the strawberry milk slush from here is the best strawberry smoothie I have ever had! The staff are super friendly too and it's in a good location!

Xaaron Reviews

Google
I agree with most reviews saying the service is terrible. Worse than that… the Boba pearls were not cooked all the way. We ordered mango yogurt drink and it seemed wrong because it didn’t look like yogurt it tasted like water and jam and it had no ice so it was warm. Also my drink was tasteless and watered down. Will never go again. It isn’t authentic. The people making the Boba aren’t Vietnamese and they are uncultured and rude. It also stinks inside

Yelp
Gong Cha is an interesting chain because they can be super inconsistent across locations. When they're doing well, they're at the top of the food chain as far as chains are concerned but they can also miss really hard. The drinks here were pretty good but boba would fall closer to the bottom of my scale. Service and boba as a topping missed here. This location in particular felt unfriendly. Went in to pick up an order and had no acknowledgement whatsoever. Had to announce that I was here to pick up and got the fastest "not ready" response while walking away because it was too much hassle to pause for a second and make eye contact. Very snobby and dismissive, behavior that makes for a terrible impression. Pearl Milk Tea - a classic of all time, the milk tea is a solid creaminess with a hint of tea. Gong Cha does particularly well on the creamier taste, this location isn't much different. Boba however, was clumpy and firm. Tasted fairly old at noon and lacked flavor. Lemon Wintermelon Basil - nostalgic Hong Kong lemon tea flavor with a kick of wintermelon sweetness. This could be a new favorite especially with the heat. Refreshing, cool, and slightly sour tartness are all enhancements to the sweetness. At 30% I believe it's still fairly sweet by nature and going down to 0% is a viable option. If you're adventurous and want a new drink, I highly recommend this. If wintermelon milk tea is one of your go-tos but it's a hot day and you want something more refreshing, this is your calling.

Yelp
Very nice Gong Cha location, service was speedy and they installed a new ordering kiosk to cut down ordering times! Got the lemon aiyu with star jelly and the earl grey with 3 Js, and I always order with 0% sweetness since their drinks are normally very sweet already, especially with added toppings.

Yelp
Good selection of tea, I usually order mango coconut. They have other limited options as well

Yelp
Id like to be fair while being honest. Ive definitely had better Bobba-Tea before but that doesn't mean this was not good. Just that I've had better tasting, in a larger cup, for the same price, at other places. All the young ladies and young men working at this location are friendly. Will i be back? Yes because there are not any other places nearby and would likely keep trying new drinks to find my favorite. Space is very limited soo don't expect to sit there.
google avatar

Yelp
I ordered 0% sweetness but still found the drink very sweet (yes, I've been to many different Gong Cha locations and order the same drink), so I told the staff with blonde hair and large headphones. I asked if they could make me another one that was less sweet and she said the toppings have syrup so she can't do anything about it. Three stars because I like the drinks overall, but service can be better. A drink is $7 and they don't want to make another one if they accidentally mess up your drink.

Delilah A.

Yelp
Horriable!!! when i asked they told me to speak louder n i was alr and on top of that they gave me attitude and stares, when i got the drink they put some time of paper in my drink that i had to throw away!! other than that the drink was nice

Yelp
Amazing service, great employees, super nice. The milk tea is absolutely amazing. Love the small entrance and easy to read menu.

Yelp
So happy to have found a boba spot since moving from VA. I feel like I was going through withdrawal. I've been to Gong Cha back home so I already knew the menu. The menus are a little different as far as drinks from what I was use to but they had what I wanted . I love the fruit teas the best. My go to is a the Lemon Ai-Yu with white pearl but I also like the Lemon Wintermelon Basil Seeds as well. Today I tried the Little Star Fruit Tea. I always get half sugar and lite ice. The tea was so refreshing and had bits of peach at the bottom & the stat jelly was so cute. If your at the Domain and love boba this is definitely the spot. The teas are perfect for a hot day and I love the jelly options . The shop itself is small with some tables but the service was fast and the line was not so bad.

Yelp
The rating is for the drink rather than the business! I tried the new "Vampire Bite" bubble tea and it was just okay. The herbal jellies and pearls created a lot of texture for this drink--if you like texture then go for it! I took the chance knowing this, but had hoped there would still be a good amount of liquid as well....there wasn't. Still love the milk teas from this place, and I'll probably go with my regular choice next time!

Yelp
If you've been to a Gong Cha before, then you know the deal. It's a pretty standard affair and you know you will leave happy and full of boba. If you haven't been to a Gong Cha, then this review is for you! In a crowded field of boba tea, Gong Cha stands out as one of my favorite spots. Service is quick and they have some text based loyalty program for discounts and promotions. Their boba teas are heavier on the tea flavor which I prefer over the some of the other boba places that have a sweeter/artificial taste. The milk tea with boba 50% sugar and less ice is my favorite and the drink I use to measure all of the bubble tea spot I go to. Overall, Gong Cha produces a solid milk tea with boba without any of the gimmicks.
google avatar

Yelp
Great drinks! The price is a bit pricey for the quantity you get however the taste is good. I got the crème brûlée drink and it came with lots of flavor.
google avatar

Yelp
Tiny on the go tea cafe- not much room inside but great to get and takeout. Love a good boba session - I always wanted to learn more about what flavors and boba options they have and they were happy to explain to me. Had a great experience here love that they make unsweetened teas- and offer many flavors. Staff was knowledgeable- I got the pearl milk tea with brown sugar boba- unsweetened. It was delicious and refreshing - I would love to see calories on the menu to see what I am putting in my body. I would also like to know what kind of sweetener they use- I'm pro healthy sweetener.
google avatar

Mariana G.

Yelp
I stopped by Gong Cha because I was craving boba. I got the pearl milk tea with 70% sugar and regular ice. The pearls were soft and chewy, and there was a good amount of them in the drink. The tea wasn't overly sweet, but I think that next time I would ask for less ice. Overall, it wasn't the best black milk tea I've ever had, but it definitely satisfied my boba craving.

Max P.

Yelp
Rude service door wasn't locked and she was helping a customer but turned us away saying they were closed. Definitely not coming back, never had such a bad experience at a gong Cha
google avatar

Irene S.

Yelp
Cute little store in the domain, not a lot of space to hang out inside, but perfect if you want something cool to hold when you're walking around outside! Got an oolong milk tea (drink closest to the front) and it was... underwhelming. Maybe it was just the drink this time but it was too sweet and milky and there wasn't as much of the tea taste as I was expecting.

Elliotte L.

Yelp
normally i love gong cha! this is my second time to this specific location and i will say i am not impressed. both times the service was bad and the people were so rude. the person severing me wouldn't even look at me or say hi when i did. i asked her questions and she acted so salty about it. despite the service the drinks were not the best. i got 2. one for my mom one for me. mine was SO salty. i have no idea why it would even be salty?? but i could barley finish it. my moms was a slush boba, but it was so icy she was just crunching on huge chunks of ice while enjoying her drink. i do not think i would visit this location again.
google avatar

Sajida T.

Yelp
My fav drink is the crème brûlée brown sugar milk tea! Def add boba bc does t come with the drink .... But it's def worth it and get a large!
google avatar

Zhao C.

Yelp
This place is one of my go-to spots for boba tea, and I appreciate the speed at which they make their drinks and the variety they offer with their seasonal flavors and specials! My favorite is their Dirty Brown Sugar Milk Tea (I love the salty milk foam combination), but you can't go wrong with some of their classics either, like Pearl Milk Tea, Earl Grey Milk Tea with 3J's, and Taro Milk Tea! Overall, I'm never disappointed every time I stop by but I do think that their 50% less sugar can still be quite sweet, so I'll most likely be going down to 25-30% next time for this particular location.
google avatar

Catalina L.

Yelp
Always a great experience getting boba at Gong Cha! You customize the flavor, sweetness and ice level and I have never had an order messed up. Not busy for a weekend afternoon. I usually get the passion fruit green tea boba, but saw they were promoting this grapefruit summer refresher series. Ordered the grapefruit green tea with boba pearls and it was great! Super refreshing and fruity, light tartness is the grapefruit flavor came through nicely.

Yelp
You guys are the best!!! The customer service here was super nice and I am so appreciative for you! I really hope the young lady who helped me will see this. I don't do gelatin. I haven't had it in years due to my current lifestyle. So typically I stay away from all toppings just to be on the safe side. I went in and saw a poster of the passion fruit green tea but it was advertised with little jelly stars. This cute item peaked my interest so I asked about. The first guy said he didn't know. But the lady behind him offered to take a picture of the ingredients for me. It was the sweetest thing someone's ever done. She went back took the picture. And handed me her phone to have a look. To anyone who can't have gelatin just know the jelly stars are safe! They only have like 5 ingredients and they're freaking delicious. I go to tea shops a lot. And this drink was one of my favorites. Next time I'm in the Domain I'm coming back to try the same thing. I really want to thank this young lady because thanks to her I got to try something grea

Yelp
I've been to this location three times now and I'm docking a star because of quality control. I ordered the same drink on two different occasions. The first time, it was amazing. So so good. The second time I ordered the drink, it didn't taste the same. Regardless of who made it, if it was the same person or different person both times, it should've tasted the same. Quality control and consistency are key to securing a returning customer. Gong cha is a reputable boba brand; I remember seeing them all over korea. I gave them another chance recently and was scared about getting the same thing again and not liking it so I got something different. I got the strawberry green tea with peach something topping and it was so good. Soooo good and so refreshing for a hot day/night in TX. I'll try getting it again at a later time to see if quality control has improved.

Yelp
If you've been to other Gong Cha locations then there's not much to mention since it is a franchise and the menu is pretty much the same. This is more for the location and grand opening weekend. I'm super glad they opened a location in the Domain and I think they found the perfect location next to Jinya. So, if there's a wait for Jinya, why not get a drink while you wait? Grand opening this weekend (06/15- 06/16/19) which went smoothly in my opinion. There is a wait but not too long of a wait (granted I went late at night). Overall, glad to have a boba place in the Domain now.

Yelp
Stopped in with a coworker to grab tea together and loved the versatility available with sweetness and ice. This is becoming a huge trend and I am loving it. I will say that although there is seating available inside, this location is really more of a grab-and-go spot and since it is nestled in the Domain, that works well. I ordered the Thai Tea with boba, no ice, and with 30% sweetness and it was perfectly balanced. Definitely a go-to order for me and I love finding another place that does it so well! If you do decide to sit inside, there are several tables as well as a high bar booth, although it gets VERY NOISY so I would not recommend trying to work or have a real conversation here. The wait time on drinks is not very long, and it seems that this is a highly frequented place. It is also conveniently located right across the street from a parking garage so you won't have to walk too far if you're in a hurry and just need a quick fix. I'm excited to come back and try more of their teas! 8/10

Yelp
"OMG! OMG! Is this the new Gong Cha at the Domain?" "Yes." "Is it the best & yummiest Boba tea ever?" "It's pretty good." "Is it hip & cool & pricier because it's on Rock Rose?" "Yes." "What a wonderful community service you provide!" "My pleasure."

Yelp
Im so excited this Taiwanese bubble tea franchise finally made its way to the Domain. In Austin, there are two more locations - one on UT campus in the old Dobie Mall and the other up north off 183 and 620. This place has one of my favorite drinks the brown sugar milk tea with pearls. Their pearls are generally really "QQ" (the right consistency of chewy and bounce). If you are looking for good bubble tea in Austin, check out this place.
google avatar

Acelía O.

Yelp
Ordered a tea from here and I was not satisfied... The tea had a weird taste, couldn't finish.
google avatar

Cathy L.

Yelp
Lemme just say gongcha is one of the superior boba spots that will always have a place in my heart. This location is conveniently placed in domain so you can fulfill your boba cravings after grabbing food. The space is nice, high ceilings, lots of light. Has tables for studying by yourself or with people. The chargers are mainly by the walls underneath the benches though. Sadly the prices are much much higher than any other gongcha so I probably won't find myself coming here often. No complaints on the drinks itself (maybe except they were out of a lot of toppings and speciality flavors when I came but they did recently open so maybe I'll let that slide)
google avatar

Christy R.

Yelp
Lots of great tea selections with very tasty pearl boba. They offer the ability to customize ice and sweetness levels as well. Limit of 10 people and masks are required but a great spot for a treat.
google avatar

Grace R.

Yelp
They make great drinks, but the last 4 times we've gone they've been out of Boba so that's been super frustrating!
google avatar

Vivian C.

Yelp
It was actually my first time visiting a Gong cha which I figured would be a great way to wash down the super yummy ramen next door. So since it was my first time there, my friend and I had several questions in which the cashier responded: "I don't know it's my first day here" and made no effort to find out the answer. Luckily a worker from the back helped us out immediately. I was recommended the brown sugar milk tea. I guess it was aesthetically pleasing, and I've had similar drinks before, but this one didn't impress me. Brown sugar taste was apparent, but got bland real fast. My boyfriend got the caramel milk tea which tasted better than mine, but the syrup was so thick maybe I can chew it lol Not impressed.
google avatar

Christina H.

Yelp
I never thought this could happen... but it did. I got flavorless milk tea & I AM SHOOK. Gong Cha is known in my books for always having superb tasting teas, which is why I always go to Gong Cha. However, today was AWFUL. As soon as I got home and tried my tea, I was disgusted. It literally tastes like water... when Oolong is known for its potent tea leaves. I thought maybe my ice had melted within the 10-min drive it took me to get home, but that wasn't the case either. Highly, highly disappointed. I tried calling to give them a warning, but no answer...
google avatar

Nooshin G.

Yelp
We've enjoyed Gong cha relatively frequently, especially during the pandemic, but the past two times we've been, they have messed up significant parts of our orders. This time in particular, we ordered an earl grey milk tea with pearls at *100% sweet* as is noted on the sticker on the drink itself (see photo). However, upon tasting, the drink doesn't have any sugar at all -- the only sweetness is coming from the boba itself -- which is really disappointing. Hopefully this lack of detail doesn't continue to be a trend.
google avatar

Yelp
Definitely don't come here if your lactose intolerant and want a milk tea, they do have milk alternatives however if your ordering a milk tea and ask for almond milk they will input it as a tea latte( which does not come with flavor or pearls even tho my drink does) so she added the flavor my drink I ordered was supposed to already come with and the pearls, and that added an extra 1.25. Plus the extra .75 for the almond milk. So my drink that cost 5.25 on the menu now cost me 7.25 just to literally add almond milk. My husband also needed almond milk and ofc we weren't told it would be 2$ extra each. So I paid $16 for two drinks that on the menu that should of only cost me about 12$ ALSO, the drinks are decent:/ honestly not even worth $12.

Yelp
It's hard to not like Gong Cha! I've had it all over the world- Tokyo, Boston, Los Angeles, and now in Austin. Pretty standard in taste and pricing. The location is super convenient, right in the domain. No need to be ashamed to get a cup of boba tea after a few drinks during happy hour. My friends enjoy getting the brown sugar milk tea, while I stick with the classic green milk tea or oolong milk tea with boba. Foam tea seems to be the trend right now, although I'm okay with or without it. Parking isn't too difficult there are tons of lots in the area. My only complaint is I wished they open later! Unlike other boba tea shops they don't have games or anything and very limited seating- this location is more of an in and out shop. Especially living in the north of Austin this is my go-to for boba.
google avatar

Zhang J.

Yelp
Very bad and rude customer service by an Asian guy ,if you don't know how to make drinks with no ice ,you should shut down business for futures sake ,
google avatar

S L.

Yelp
In town for work. Love a good bubble tea so when I found they were walking distance from the hotel, had to try it. I tried the Brown Sugar Milk tea with herbal jelly. So many bubble tea places don't have to herbal jelly so I was happy to order that. I love the fact you can request lower sugar and lower ice. Yummy! I will come back again.
google avatar

Rob C.

Yelp
Came on October 26 Monday 5:30 and ordered only 1 drink. It wasn't busy, it was on me and another guy who ordered 2 drinks. I was super nice and my total was $5 and I tipped her $2 so the total was $7. My drink came out tasting like water. I asked for 100% sweet and regular ice. It wasn't sweet and tasted like nothing but water. Highly upset because I tipped her $2 and the drink was not worth $7 or even a penny. I come to this location a lot and get the same exact thing. Every time I get my drink, it doesn't taste consistent like the other times I get it. This time it tasted like water! Super super super upset.
google avatar

Liyaana J.

Yelp
Gong Cha is the BEST! I love their drinks! My go to is the Classic Pearl Milk Tea - and let me tell y'all, it's probably the best milk tea I've ever had. It's perfectly sweet and refreshing, and the boba is super fresh, chewy, and tasty! Their passionfruit green tea and mango green tea are especially refreshing on hot days! I'm a huge fan of bubble tea, and the location of Gong Cha is perfect, because after a day of shopping in the Domain, what's better than some amazing boba?
google avatar

Kathy W.

Yelp
Broooo this place is actually the best cuz it's 30 seconds away from my place and i basically lived here when I didn't have WiFi at my apartment. Drinks are quality too (classic pearl milk tea is the way to go). That said, I'm REALLY sad right now because I had a really tiring day (first day of work!) and I had just gymmed so I was READY for some boba. I checked the time and it was 9:55. I debated whether or not to get boba, and I was like yes, yes I should. So I ran over there!! BUUTT, once I got there and was all ready for some of that bomb ass refreshing gongcha medium pearl milk tea less ice regular sugar, I saw the door was loCKED. I checked the time and it was 9:58pm!! Not to call anyone out, but I saw someone mopping the floor and like three other employees at the counter. I kept on trying to open the door or at least ask if they were closed and I didn't get a response :(((( I walked away boba-less and it was the saddest thing ever. Clearlyyyy, I feel very UPSEtt about this. I would totally give this place five stars but I feel as if I was deprived of my rightful boba so I am angry and sad!!! Pls don't close early next time :((( I know y'all wanna go home but I also want my boba :(( THANKS.
google avatar

Eunice S.

Yelp
I'm glad there is a gong cha in the domain! It is the same quality as the Houston locations. They have a bunch of different drinks and toppings so you can find something you'll like. My favorite is the dirty brown sugar with regular sugar, pearls, and with less ice. However, if you plan on taking your drink to go, make sure to get regular ice on a summer day.
google avatar

Yelp
As another review states: "If you've been to other Gong Cha locations then there's not much to mention since it is a franchise and the menu is pretty much the same." This is misleading or uninformed. I can't verify whether there are fewer options, but the prices are different. A Large at the location near Lakeline is $4 but is $5 at the Domain location. Unless I'm unaware of a company-wide price change, that's a 25% upcharge. They also claimed I couldn't adjust the sweetness level of the Wintermelon Drink. I'm not sure if this was a mix up from the worker or if it's a limitation of this particular location, but I can for sure change the sweetness level at other locations. It was uncomfortable to drink at 100% sugar until the ice melted and watered it down. The boba also wasn't as cooked as other locations. tl;dr More expensive, way too sweet, harder boba. Was excited for this location but will continue to only visit the one up north.
google avatar

Irene T.

Yelp
One of few boba shop in Austin, located on the further end of the strip shopping center. Small shop with few tables and couple bar chairs. GC is one of my many favorite boba shop so I was excited to find this gem here in ATX. The drinks are a bit higher in price here. Love that they have strawberry pearl and you can adjust sugar and ice level. The cashier got my order wrong, I ordered a strawberry matcha latte but got matcha latte instead, didnt mind it though.
google avatar

Dmitri G.

Yelp
Learn how to work the register without having an attitude. Also the boba pearls didn't have the normal mouthfeel and was similar to that of a thick cough syrup. The menu is also super confusing and different than the menu they advertise online. Overpriced, bad service, bad boba.
google avatar

Christine Y.

Yelp
Gong Cha here has always been a hit or miss, which is weird because it's a chain and the recipes are standardized. For some reason, the one at Dobie Mall near UT campus has always tasted much better. Atmosphere: 2/5 It's super loud, as in you drop a penny here or whisper and it'll reverberate in the walls. Not an ideal place to sit here and catch up or get work done, but luckily enough you can take it to-go and stroll around the Domain Service: 5/5 Really friendly cashiers who are knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered something that was way too sweet and they helped me adjust it until it was just right Drinks: 2/5 My go-to orders are: Wintermelon milk tea 70% sweetness or the original milk tea 70% sweetness, with pearls The 70% is their default sweetness and it's enough to make this drink a dessert and satisfy your sweet tooth, I get regular ice because less ice means a lukewarm drink The milk tea here is just meh. Mild tea flavor, not very creamy, sweet, and watery describes it. The flavors are so mild that if you keep drinking it continuously, it doesn't taste like anything. The 3 star rating is because it satisfies a sweet tooth, but it's not great milk tea like ShareTea.

Yelp
This boba tea chain hasn't disappointed us. Great new location at the Domain, next to JINYA ramen and across Orange Theory. It's a little small tea shop that has a few tables and chairs and simple design. Prices are 50-75 cents more expensive than the 620 location. Their reward system is not up and running until September 2019. For those who are new to Gong Cha, below are our favorites - all with 30% sugar, light ice, and with original milk foam: - Matcha Tea Latte - Milk Foam Tea (Any kind of tea is great) - Dirty Brown Sugar Fresh Milk - Pearl Milk Tea (Any kind of tea is great) - Lemon Ai-yu with White Pearls (Very refreshing drink - tastes like honey lemonade with lemon peels and lemon jelly. White pearls have slightly crunchy texture and remind me of coconut jelly) - Wintermelon Tea with Basil Seeds (Note that wintermelon tea is already sweet and you can't adjust the sweetness level in this drink. Just keep it as is and get regular ice if you want it to be a bit less sweet) - Coffee Milk Tea (A mix of coffee and earl grey milk tea. It's strong and yummy. Double caffeine from both coffee and tea will surely keep you awake ALL day. No kidding!) - Taro Milk You can always go for 50% sweetness with light ice if you have a bigger sweet tooth. If you bring your own cup, you'll get a discount of 25 cents per drink.

Yelp
The earl grey tea is so flavorful! It doesn't taste like regular Earl Grey, but has a rich tea flavor. Boba is a great texture and firmness, even if on the smaller side. I didn't mind at all. Plus, the girls are so nice! I was on the fence since I had a pretty disheartening first experience at another one of their locations. But they were so wonderful, it made me want to give them a second chance. * Side note: Just don't show up to a Gong Cha before close as the boba is at the bottom of the barrel. When I did that at Cedar Park, it was quite bad.

Yelp
Delicious milk tea and great service. I like that you can adjust the sweetness, even for many of the flavored teas like the taro tea. And real milk is an option for those who want it, in addition to nut milks. The boba was 100% on point. Perfect consistency and good flavor too. Easily the best boba I've had in the Austin area.

Yelp
This place is great, the pearls are delicious and the drinks can be ordered in smaller sizes. They have a good selection of slushies, milk tea, and just regular tea. Our drinks came out fast, I ordered the strawberry green tea with light sugar, it was just about right - can't imagine what it's like at 100% sweetened. By far the tastiest balls in town, you can trust me on that.

Yelp
It can get crazy busy/long lines during peak hours so watch out! Exactly what you should expect from a solid boba chain. Brown sugar milk tea boba is a classic here and definitely better executed than the one on the drag.
