Wow. I have never experienced such terrible service from a boba shop before... until I came here.
I come here all the time, but the past few visits the service was really lacking. The worker who took our order today was lazy and bad-mannered. The shop seems to run out of a lot of things these days and they also seem to close earlier than what is listed online.... its a little annoying. The fact that there was a limited amount of drinks on the menu, (because they were out of "some" items) made us consider new drinks - so of course we asked questions. Well... the worker definitely did not want to be there, I got that from his attitude he had toward me - it's like he thought I was asking too much when I really wasn't.
When we placed the order, he forgot to add a topping to a drink and forgot to place an order for another drink. When we mentioned that he forgot to add the second drink, HE ended up choosing the sweetness and ice level for us disregarding what we said initially. I'm surprised because we talked pretty slow and concise, so either he's a bit slow or he just chose to ignore what we said. When we got our drinks, one of them was missing foam so we asked him to remake it. The second drink came out and he forgot to add the matcha lol.. which was basically the entirety of the drink. There was no sugar too, which I'm confused cause I said regular sugar??? My drink tasted like watered down matcha... and i got the Strawberry Matcha. I've had it before so I know what it's supposed to taste like. There was also no toppings either since he forgot to place it in the order initially. To make it worse, the drink was not sealed enough, so there was a huge open gap. If I had shook the drink, it would've spilled all over me. The third drink - Wintermelon Milk Tea tasted like mop water (this brings up concerns for sanitation), we also asked for half sugar yet it was SO sweet. HOW IS THIS GUY STILL WORKING HERE? 100% he is not new... we got turned off from ordering and once there was so many mistakes with our drinks, it made us not even want to drink anymore lmfao. Idk this whole experience was just terrible, and I'm surprised cause this is gong cha - you're repping the company so please don't make a stain on their name. I won't choose this place for boba after today, BUT if I'm really desperate for a drink I probably will.
