Gong Cha Opens in Cedar Park With Bubble and Milk Teas | Eater Austin
"I visited the second Austin-area Gong Cha in Cedar Park at 13201 Ranch Road 620 North and found plentiful bubble and milk teas on the menu, along with coffee, lushes, and even drinks topped with Oreo crumbles; the chain’s first Austin location opened on Guadalupe in June." - Nadia Chaudhury
Taiwanese Bubble Tea Chain Gong Cha Is Coming to Austin | Eater Austin
"An outpost of a global bubble-tea chain founded in 2006 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, planned to open in Austin in the spring at this Cedar Park location. The shop focuses on made-to-order bubble tea, with teas and tapioca pearls refreshed every four hours for freshness and each drink customized to the customer's preferred sugar and ice levels. The menu covers hot and cold brewed teas, milk teas, coffee drinks, yogurt drinks and smoothies, and offers toppings such as pearls, basil seeds, red bean and coconut jelly; the signature is a slightly salted milk foam cream topping, with seasonal variations like pumpkin spice milk foam. The brand operates more than 1,500 franchised locations worldwide, including spots in Dallas and Houston." - Erin Russell
A warm and cozy place to hangout with friends. Nice ambiance and really nice teas as well. They have many toppings, apart from the regular pearls(boba). We tried the Carmel milk tea hot and earl grey tea with 3 J’s(toppings). The caramel tea was really good, nice consistency and taste. There were a couple of games to play as well.

I'm glad that finally this famous bubble tea chain opened in Austin. I love their premium bubble tea - especially the boba and the jelly and pudding add-ons. Love the range and variety they offer. The place is clean and they even have nice tea sets for sale. The service time is fast and they do have a bunch of games to play as well with a group. Ample amount of seating is available. Their offerings include brew series, coffee series but what separates them from other places are their foam versions and the amazing spiced versions - definitely give em a try. You won't be tired of the variety and I'm glad that they are finally in Austin, I didn't have to travel to NY unlike last time. Highly recommended. This is right next to Xi'an noodles and ample parking in the complex.

A Taiwanese bubble tea franchise with nondairy options. Great selection of beverages and they also make fresh waffles. Drink add ons can get pricey. The slushy wasn't well blended as it should have been. Their reward program is going away early June. Cute, unique and airy decor. Board games are a nice touch.

This place was great. A ton of seating and it was clean as well. The milk tea is amazing, I got the caramel milk tea. They have a kiosk, music, and even fairy lights hanging from the ordering counter. 10/10, great experience.

Decent place. They have some board games too so that was nice to keep company. Four star because the dink I had had such generous amount of the toppings I wanted, it’s nothing but sweet and very little juice. Everyone else enjoyed their drink so that was good. I didn’t post my drink photo cause I end up throwing it away but the ice coffee was good.
There’s parking lot so finding parking was easy and short walk.

I love the Earl Grey Milk Foam. My daughter loves the Matcha Waffles. We go to Gong Cha nearly every week.

It was just ok for me. The pearls were way overcooked and too mushy. I really hope they weren’t just sitting there too long. We ordered just mango green tea which was made right with less ice and 50 less sugar. The peach slush was made with 50% less sweet but came out still very sweet. And the crème brûlée milk tea was made right too. We ordered the bubble waffle it was abit crispy on the outside which I liked but was abit undercooked inside. The price of the drinks and toppings I feel have gone up. Kinda not worth it anymore when you’re not fully satisfied with your drink. 3 drinks and a bubble waffle came up to almost $30. Don’t think I’ll be back.
