We went there for brunch and despite it was full, the waiter was trying to find a way to accommodate us which was really nice of them. The food was really good, fresh, and delicious. And the food and coffee are reasonably priced.

First time i have been here. Ive stopped drinking coffee, but wanted to try the foccaccio, was disappointed that it was only available as brunch. Had a dish called Statta which was very nice. The cold pressed cucumber, apple and mint drink was very disappointing. A very small glass and tasteless. You could not taste any mint. The service was average and I was surprised they had no WiFi...

Warm and welcoming staff, with a bright and inviting atmosphere. The pastries and toasts were delicious, and the coffee (cappuccino and flat white) was excellent. These days, it’s common to get a cappuccino that looks great but turns out to be watery after the first sip. That wasn’t the case at Good as Gold: the cappuccino had a consistently creamy texture from start to finish. Just see the picture.

It’s hard to top this place in London. Exquisite food, ambience is perfection, cocktails are fire. I live in London Bridge and this is the only place I’ll make a special journey for because it’s THAT good. Please come and open up on Bermondsey street! We need you! The chef is super talented… they guys know what they’re doing. Wow. Wow. Wow.

One of the best brunches in London, food was super delicious and code was good too. We had avocados on toast and jalapeño and sweetcorn fritters. Customer service was excellent and the place atmosphere was cool, can’t wait to go and try something new there.

This place has always been one of my favorite spots in Brockley, and I’ve had many lovely experiences here over the years. That’s why I was quite surprised during my last visit a month ago, when something felt a little off. A new female staff member seemed to overlook our table—we waited for about 30 minutes before receiving menus, while guests who arrived after us were served promptly. At first, I thought it might’ve just been a busy moment, but as it continued, it started to feel a bit uncomfortable. Eventually, a familiar staff member kindly stepped in and helped us. She also waived the service charge, which we appreciated. As someone of Asian background, I can’t help but wonder if that may have played a role in how we were treated. I truly hope that’s not the case, and that it was simply an unfortunate oversight. Still, the experience left us feeling quite disheartened, and we’ve decided not to return—for now, at least. It’s a real shame, as this place once brought me so much warmth.

One of my favorite place in Brockley, I’ve been here many times and everything was great. I would like to recommend mackerel bun and carrot cake and banana cake. Daily soup was also nice but I couldn’t see it recently in menu. And I’d like to try dinner next time!

The food is great, but I feel like the staff (who hardly smile) hate babies and children. They don’t have a single high chair so my toddler had to stand while he ate, there are no changing facilities (the only bin in the toilet says “no nappies”), and the staff don’t really acknowledge children - and they certainly don’t smile at them. It’s really weird!
