Good Behaviour Ice Cream and Sub Sandwiches

Google
2nd stop on my sandwhich crawl with my buddy. Different style of sandwich, almost like a hoagie. Place is a bit confusing as you have to go inside to order the sandwiches but when you get to the place theres an ice cream window open for ice cream orders and for pies. You got to go all the way inside to get the sandwiches. We got the beef brisket sandwich. Staff were ok pretty chill atmosphere. The sandwich was delicious! It was really decadent almost to the point where it was too decadent! The bread was so pillowy soft and tasted like it was dunked in some garlic butter. The sandwich itself is felt was lacking on the protein side. A bit more meat would've cut that decadence down bit and made the sandwich a 10/10! Overall although the sandwich was a bit too decadent it was delicious! Im not sure if will return though as I don't think my heart can take too many more sandwiches like that! But I do recommend this place to those looking for a really delicious but decadent sandwich to give this place a try! Its definitely different from all the Italian sandwich shops around!

Google
This place has some seriously good sandwiches! I would recommend the beef brisket to anyone who is considering the hot sandwiches. The cold sandwich that’s the most popular is the classic and it looks pretty inside when you open the sandwich up but I personally enjoy the hot sandwiches more! The ice creams are worth a try too. I suggest getting a flight to try more than one flavour. You can sample the flavours but if you can’t decide what flavour you want, this is a good option to go for. I love the sorbets More than the ice creams. The blood orange and passion fruit sorbets really quench the thirst. But all ice creams are worthy of trying!

Google
was so impressed by their unique and flavorful ice cream. I tried a few different flavors and they were all delicious and distinct. The only thing I would note is that the texture wasn't as creamy as I personally prefer, but that's a minor detail. They also have some tasty-looking pastries, which is a nice touch. Overall, it's a great spot to try some interesting new flavors.

Google
🧊 I tried their pumpkin spice ice cream while I was little stoned from breathing in a guy's second hand smoke. Let's just say weed and ice cream are the only thing you need; especially this ice cream. 🍨You could be homeless and jobless and the next few minutes of your life would be heaven on Earth. 🏔️ It was bursting with authentic Italian flavor, (Even though it was an Asian lady working there,) as well as remaining everest cold in my happy mouth for until I finished it. Mind you, it was cold that day. 😀 The service was friendly and it's a great place to come with your friends or alone (if you're single and lonely) and definitely a great place to come to if you're a little high. Highly recommended.

Google
Ice cream is wonderful! Especially bourbon pecan!!! My favorite! All staff are so good!! One thing went bad, me and my family are big fans of the store, we go there twice a week at least. Whenever the young guy wears glasses with curly hair and has earrings scooped ice cream for us, the one he gave us is always so much smaller than other people did. I don’t know why there is so much difference between single scoops. As you can see from the photos I took in separate times, the cup with red arrow in each picture is always the smallest one, I’m so upset about this. We have decided if next time is that guy serving the ice cream, we will no longer patronize here. Sadly but for sure.

Google
I got the runners high ice cream which is a coffee crème brulee flavour with bits of caramelized sugar incorporated into the ice cream. It was a nice balance sweetness and bitterness from the sugar bits and the ice cream itself had a nice fluffy and soft texture. Would definitely come back to try out the other flavours!

Nina S.

Google
Superb ice cream! ❤️😋 Love the flavours, texture, creaminess; and the scoops were huge. Love it and it’s worth coming back for more. The place is just too tight for dine-in with some air circulation concerns for me. Otherwise, great for takeouts.

Google
One of my favorites spots in Toronto. Sandwiches are insane. Ice cream is perfect. And even sitting in there is super cozy and cute. Had coffee today, DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Emily & Justin are the sweetest. 10/10 for food, service and vibe!

Yelp
Service was welcoming as I was greeted with a bright "Hello" upon entering the space. This week I tried a beef brisket hot sub, an assorted cold cuts sub, and for dessert their matcha cookies and cream and Santa's hot chocolate ice cream. Everything was amazing! You can dine in as there's seating and table space in the back or grab and go. Lots of pints to choose from, made locally, and plenty of flavours.

Yelp
Came around lunch on a hot day. The doors were open, so AC was next to useless and there were quite a few flies that had snuck in. Tried the lunch special (1/2 beef brisket sub + coleslaw side + pop) as well as some ice cream. Beef brisket sub: Delicious. Slightly fatty, with a generous amount of meat and sauce. Nicely toasted too. Coleslaw: what happened?! Tasted like nothing. Sad slimy limpy cabbage, severely underseasoned. Could only stomach 2 forkfuls... Ice cream: Strawberry cheesecake. Yum, but nothing special. I should've tried a different flavour, like perhaps Runner's High. Service was efficient, and things were explained clearly. I feel like maybe my choices made this spot (that so many people rave about) feel like it fell a bit flat, so would be willing to come back for another lunch. Choose other things.

Yelp
I've always loved Subway's meatball subs so of course I had to order it here. The verdict is that the meatball subs here are amazing. The buns were soft and not too toasty (not to the point where it would scratch the inside of your mouth), the pesto was fresh, and the meatballs were very tender. 10/10 sandwich!!! I also got to try the turkey sub and although this one was good, I would definitely choose the meatball one over it. The service here was quick and attentive. There's also plenty of ice cream pints to purchase! Definitely have to check those out another time.

Yelp
Restaurant that sells ice-cream and subs and coffee. In the summer they do $2 happy hour kiddie scoop. There's also lunch deals. The icecream has some Asian inspired flavours. No rotating flavours. There's few tables inside to dine in. It's clean inside and service is always great. There's paid street parking available but minimal.

Yelp
Strolled in wanting to try this place's breakfast sandwiches for the longest time but actually decided to get some subs instead - and we were NOT disappointed. We ordered a family meal deal, which includes two sandwiches with two sides and two drinks! Pretty value for the portions were are getting, plus they have some extra sides and drinks that are beyond the usual. We ordered the following sandwiches: - Spicy Meatball Sub: Huge, gigantic, baseball-sized meatballs. These were juicy, meaty, perfect texture and drenched in an amazing marinara sauce. Cheesy goodness on top. It's not very spicy, just a little bit. The bun is so soft. I was so impressed, this was beyond my expectations. I would totally get this again. 9/10 - Beef Brisket Sub: The brisket was very tender and doesn't get stuck in your teeth which is perfect. Lots of sauce, both barbecue sauce and mayo. Not too tangy but still had some sour ingredients like the sauce and some banana peppers. Smoked gouda cheese on top was unreal. 8/10 The guy making the sandwiches was also so nice - he apologized for the meatball sub taking 10 minutes (it did not even feel that long, we were munching on the sides and the time flew) and he gifted us a free Vietnamese coffee flavour ice cream! It was also delicious, not because it was free but because it was simply amazing. For the portion size, service, and deliciousness alone, I would definitely come back again for a quick lunch! What's not to like?

Yelp
This could've been a 5 star review but Good Behaviour, what is goin on with your cookies?? Let's start with the amazing. Ice cream was BOMB. I got the tiramisu, which is one of my go to ice cream flavours and it was perfect. Creamy, good espresso flavour with chunks of cake? Lady fingers? Whatever it was, it was yummy. I even tried a sample of the strawberry shortcake and they defs used a real strawberry compote in that. I would've gotten it as my second scoop...if I was getting one lol. Now the cookies. They looked PERFECT on the counter. The edges looked crispy and the centres looked chewy. Why were they hard AF all the way through? I was so disappointed. Like were they out too long? Were these day olds? I got the black sesame and chocolate chip cookie. The only way I was able to save the cookies was to warm them up. I had to warm up the black sesame cookie for 20 seconds for it to soften up and make it edible. I hate crunchy cookies. It had a good black sesame flavour but the texture was not it. The chocolate chip cookie was a little softer and I had to warm it up for only 12 seconds. Not my favourite and it actually had too much chocolate, in my opinion. Defs wouldn't get these again, unfortunately. However I will be coming back for ice cream and to finally try a sub!

Yelp
Cute shop. Lots of ice cream options. Here's a blueberry lime sorbet for your viewing.

Yelp
I have been to the original Good Behaviour location on Westmoreland Avenue North. In late October, I was walking along Queen Street West and noticed this Good Behaviour location on the south side of the street. It was a warm day for late October. I felt like ice cream or sorbet. Dropping by this location seemed perfect. Good Behaviour has submarine sandwiches. I have had the classic and spicy meatball subs. Both were excellent. I had just finished stuffing myself with good food in the area. I couldn't fit any more food in me. Soft Dough was doing a popup at this store. As much as I love this woman's baked goods (the burnt basque cheesecake is divine), I was too full to even think about them. Mango mojito sorbet? I have had it before at the original location. It seemed fitting to have it again. I got a friendly man behind the counter. He helped me get a single scoop of this sorbet flavour. The only downside was that this man talked and moved quickly. It was to the point where he wasn't a good listener. When I have to repeat my order, not because I wasn't audible, but because the other person wasn't an attentive listener, it's a downer. I paid with a credit card. I tapped. All was great. He went to hand me my cup of sorbet. Somehow, he managed to drop it onto the counter closest to him. The sorbet remained safe in the cup. Oddly, a plastic stand broke its fall. Yeah, I'm not into speediness. I was pleased that my sorbet was in pristine condition. I thanked him, took my sorbet from him, and went to the Halloween display steps away to take a photo. I loved the decor. There were a few tables and chairs to plop yourself down and enjoy your goodies. I ended up going to my car to enjoy my sorbet before I drove home. The mango mojito sorbet was fabulous. It tasted like a booze-free drink, but in sorbet format and without any hangover afterwards. It was creamy, smooth, and delightfully refreshing. The mango flavour was perfect. It wasn't an overly sweet sorbet, which I appreciated. I tasted hints of mint. So good and yummy. The wooden spoon that I got was branded. It was cool. I enjoyed my visit here. The male staffer simply needs to slow things down to provide better customer service and perhaps be a better listener. (435)

Yelp
I've given Good Behaviour a couple chances as I really wanted to like it, but it just doesn't hit. I've tried several of the ice creams and they're mid both in flavor and texture. Recently tried the turkey sub too and on paper the ingredients sounded delicious, but in reality the sub didn't live up to the hype. Unfortunate, but they have potential to be good.
google avatar

Yelp
One of my favourite places to get ice cream. My favourite flavour is the smores. Staff is always super friendly. Good amount of seating available and decor is very cute.
google avatar

Yelp
The sandwiches here are epic. Ingredients tasted super fresh and they are prepared with care. I got the turkey one and was so good. My hubby got their classic and loved it. The space itself is pretty small with just a couple do tables to sit. Lots of unique foodstuffs to choose from in the back area and a freezer full of house made ice creams. The two dudes working when we visited were super nice and the man who sold us the ice cream was so passionate about the flavours, t'was lovely. Until next time!

Yelp
I love coming here for their unique ice cream flavours and mouth watering sandwiches. They also have a Weekday Ice Cream Happy Hour (Kiddie Scoop) from 3 to 5 pm for just a toonie. I have sampled almost all their ice creams just by going during this time. I would say my favourite is the Torta Della Nonna - a lemon ricotta ice cream with pine nuts and crumbled shortbread. Very refreshing with a combination of lemony tart flavour. For lunch, they offer subs and I always get their Beef Brisket. The meat was juicy and tender and paired with their Pasta Salad is just perfect. The pasta salad reminds me of a Hawaiian macaroni salad with its creamy, sweet and tangy dressing. So glad they opened this location in Toronto's Entertainment district as the food is great and prices are reasonable.

Yelp
Stop what you're doing and get the runner's high ice cream - Coffee Creme brûlée with caramel swirls and shards of caramelized sugar (like you would find on a crème brûlée). Legit one of the best ice cream flavors I've ever had. Didn't try anything else. That's all you need to know!

Yelp
We came for something sweet after watching the Six musical at the Royal Alexandra theatre at around 8:30pm. I've always enjoyed the Asian flavours and I got 2 kiddy scoops of the Hong Kong style milk tea and the mango sorbet. My friend got the matcha green tea and Torta Tella Nonna flavours. The kiddy scoops were generous and the flavours satisfied our sugar cravings. Loved that the store has about 6 tables with a large open window front for a nice breeze. They also sell pints to go and some Asian inspired sauces like miso chutney at the back of the store. Will definitely be back to try their sandwiches and more ice cream flavours!
google avatar

Zi C.

Yelp
This ice cream shop is a cute little cozy place. There are seatings available inside and a small bench on the outside. I really like how they have a good selection of flavours that actually taste like the flavours. I trekked the matcha cookie and viet coffee flavours, definitely recommend both. The HK milk tea was also good. The service was fast and efficient. The scoops are massive! One down fall about this place is really narrow around the ordering counter. It can get uncomfortable walking pass others without feeling like I'll bump into them.
google avatar

Michelle D.

Yelp
Tried their bourbon butter pecan and birthday cake ice cream and while I was a fan of the texture, the flavours were a-okay! The employees were nice and it was a quick transaction. I love how cute the decor is in the store and I'd love to sit down and try one of their sandwiches.
google avatar

Oshynne L.

Yelp
I love a good sandwich, and Good Behaviour is a great place to get one (or two to split and share, which we did!). The service at the counter is efficient and friendly, and I like that you can watch the sandwich being made as well. The front has a decent amount of seating, and it's lovely in nicer weather since the windows are very large and open to the street. I also appreciate that you can get an ice cream after as well. It's truly a perfect spot to have a meal and then a little treat if you please. I came once for ice cream, returned for the sandwiches, and would return again for both!

Yelp
This ice cream and sandwich shop opened thir third permanent location downtown Toronto on 2024-03-01. They have amazing flavours of ice cream and delicious breakfast and lunch/dinner sandwiches. This location has indoor seating as opposed to the other two locations. We ordered the following: 1. GB Mac ($12). 2. Tamago "Egg Salad" ($12). 3. Sausage, Egg N' Cheese ($9.50). 4. Flight Ice Cream ($13.50). 5 scoops. The breafast sandwiches we had were all delicious and perfectly cooked. The 5 scoops were Cookies & Cream, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Dragon Poop, Milk & Honey, and Tiramisu. They were a great combination of contrasting flavours and colours. The customer service is pleasant and helpful. There is easy-listening music playing in the background. There is free WiFi. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. There are 3 gender-neutral washrooms downstairs, one of which is wheelchair accessible (there is an elevator). There is paid neighbourhood street parking. Review 2024-042

Yelp
Second time coming here, their ice creams are phenomenal. The staff was very kind and encouraged us to try multiple flavours before making a decision. Between our visits we have had the dragon poop, torta del nonna, milk & honey, birthday cake and bourbon pecan. You really can't go wrong with any of these. Lots of space inside to sit if you want but got our ice cream to go. Will be back!

Suganya H.

Yelp
Experience the ultimate combination of sandwiches and ice cream in Toronto! Their sandwiches strike the perfect balance with just the right amount of sauce, available in both cold and hot varieties. Plus, the portions are generous, and the service is top-notch! Don't miss out on their mouthwatering Mushroom Hot Sandwich and Meatball Sandwich - absolute delights! And when it comes to creamy, flavor-packed ice cream in Toronto, look no further! Indulge in their decadent flavors: - Chocolate Peanut Butter - Milk Tea - Nonna Almond - Strawberry Cheesecake - Butter Pecan .... Good behavior Queen street ( they have two more locations) ... .....

Yelp
Love this icecream and sandwhich spot. My 2024 flavour of the summer: lychee rosewater sorbet. Yum!!

Yelp
Took a little stop from shopping and stumbled upon good behaviour. Amazing ice creams and super kind staff. May was the sweetest! Defo a spot to rest and enjoy some great ice cream.
google avatar

Andrew L.

Yelp
Came across this spot because I was in the area. We got the classic coldcut and beef brisket sandwiches with a side of potato salad. The coldcut was pretty good and completely STUFFED. The star of the show was definitely the beef brisket. It was tender, savoury, and spicy. The gouda cheese and peppers complement the flavours so well. Not to mention it comes straight off the heat. The potato salad is creamy with a big of tang - a nice side to it all!

Yelp
Delicious ice cream, friendly staff, cute decor. Love it it's my go to ice cream place in the neighbourhood.
google avatar

Alanna R.

Yelp
Classic sub is everything you would want. No complaints. Not pictured if their seasonal Bunny Hop ice cream with mini eggs. So good. Their other ice cream flavours are bomb I've been to their other locations and every time staff is so nice and service is quick. Love these guys
google avatar

Dilanee S.

Yelp
The place itself was so cute!! I personally wasn't a huge fan!!! I went in thinking it'll probably be one of my favourite ice-cream shops, especially after reading a lot of reviews, but I was a bit disappointed. I tried two flavours and although the portion was huge, the flavours were just okay. They did have many flavours to choose from though. The girl helping me out seemed like she was rushing too, despite me telling her it was my first time, so not sure if I'd be back unfortunately!!
google avatar

Clara C.

Yelp
Came here on a Sunday afternoon to try the ice cream after hearing good things about this place. They have a small seating area inside, about 6 tables and also a bench outside. We got their bourbon butter pecan and matcha cookies and cream and loved them both. The pecans and cookie crunch was a good addition to the creamy ice cream. The matcha was very heavy on the tea and not very sweet. The workers were very nice as well. We will be back soon to try their sandwiches!
google avatar

Jenny H.

Yelp
when it comes to gelato, I typically go for those asian inspired flavoured ones so I had to give this place a try. their interior is cute. you can either order from inside or from their ice cream station just by the entrance. i tried a few flavours before settling with the blood orange sorbet - this one was really refreshing. my friend got the milk and honey which was also good. the staff was super friendly as they waited for us to test and decide our flavours. the gelato is a little on the pricier side, so i went with their kiddy scoop which was enough for me.
google avatar

Kathy T.

Yelp
Found this place walking down the street and couldn't resist. Very friendly service, and I really liked the matcha Oreo ice cream I had. Great flavor, a little hard texture.
google avatar

Halle G.

Yelp
Super good sandwiches!! Fast and friendly service! We were shopping and got a bit cold and it was so nice to come in to a warm spot without tons of people! Super cool vibe although a smaller spot! Hot chocolate was good and reminded me kind of Mexican hot chocolate!
google avatar

Hannah S.

Yelp
great flavors, Although a little limited as I would love more seasonal flavors. the standard rotation is still really good! I love the collab ice creams, those are really fun!

Vidya C.

Yelp
That was the worst smoked turkey sandwich I've ever had. I had to go through 95% of the cheap Lettuce to even find any turkey. It's just cheap store level deli meat, tasted of nothing but lettuce and sauce.
google avatar

Swetha R.

Yelp
Amazing place. What great flavours and quick service. Everything tastes delicious. Will definitely be back
google avatar

Zaynashae B.

Yelp
The ice cream at Good Behaviour was a solid 9/10! They have a variety of flavour choices it was hard to choose one, god bless the employee for letting my friends and I trial some before buying. I am also super allergic to peanuts and she was super accommodating! The vibes all around were nice and it had plenty of spots for photo-ops!
google avatar

Michael L.

Yelp
Tried this location (& chain) for the 1st time & both scoops were excellent. I worked at an ice cream shop for a Summer years ago, so I could tell the scoops were generously-portioned while they were scooped. I'll come back to try the HK Milk Tea flavour.
google avatar

Kavya V.

Yelp
Scoopilicious.... Had mangosorbet and milkHoney scoops both were so tasty n delicious . Friendly service with good ambiance.

Kevin C.

Yelp
The breakfast sandwiches were very good. lots of flavour and a little heat without any part being overpowering. The ice cream flavours were also bold and tasty. My favourite is the chocolate peanut butter with it's rich darh-ish chocolate and tasty peanut butter. the match cookie was also quite good but the matcha got a touch bitter by the end of the scoop. The ice cream flight is also a fun way to try a bunch of flavours. Probably enough for 2-4 people.
google avatar

Herbert H.

Yelp
nice vibe and great location! have tried the double scoop ice cream cone, matcha is more adult-taste, I like it more than the fruity one.

Micah J.

Yelp
Eric and his staff are amazing. Sandwiches were one of a kind and the ice cream was next level!
