Good Day Deli

Went here for brunch and oh my, look at the food, it tasted way even better than it looks, everything was perfect! I was amaze how well the dish was crafted that I wanted to personally go the kitchen and give the compliments to the chef myself, the hollaindaise was so creamy but not dense and chili oil on the eggs benedict was a nice touch. I’m so glad I also ordered the apple bruschetta to try and it was light and delicious.

Good Day Deli is a modern and stylish restaurant tucked away in a beautiful hidden garden, which gives the place a truly special and relaxing atmosphere. It’s open for breakfast, brunch and lunch — making it a perfect spot at any time of the day. I visited for breakfast and was impressed by the excellent vegan options available. The dishes were beautifully presented, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The service was friendly and attentive, and even the desserts were delicious. A charming location with great food and a welcoming vibe — definitely a place not to miss when in Cork.

We had a lovely meal at Good Day Deli – a hidden gem tucked away amidst lush greenery. The setting is beautiful, with the outdoor seating area offering a peaceful escape and a close connection to nature. The food was absolutely delicious and great value for money. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, checking in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. The calm, serene atmosphere makes it a perfect spot to unwind away from the city’s hustle. We’d definitely love to return sometime!

Delicious, maybe one of these best meals we’ve had in a while! Serene and beautiful, we ate outside to the sound of birds and light rain. Food was divine and came surprisingly quickly for the quality, flavourful and light and comforting. Would 100% come back.

Came here with friends for brunch and left a bit disappointed, because the waiter 'tricked' one of us into ordering loaded fries on the side instead of the ones that were included in the price of the meal. So she paid 5 euro extra for something she could have had for free. The way waiter offered this made it seem like had an option to upgrade the fries to loaded ones for free. We only found out by looking at the check at the end. Not cool.

Excellent brunch options and a truly lovely setting in Cork City Centre. On the pricey side, but that was the only negative!

Nano Nagle Place was a really pleasant surprise. It’s this calm little spot right in the middle of Cork, with a beautiful garden, peaceful atmosphere, and a great mix of history and modern design. The restaurant there is cozy and stylish with big windows, lots of natural light, and a laid-back vibe. It’s quit a pricy place, but really nice one. Great for a quiet break, especially if you're already visiting the museum or just want a chill place to eat in Cork without the usual noise. Definitely worth dropping by if you’re in the area.

A special brunch for two yesterday at this hidden gem of a restaurant. The setting is beautiful in the walled garden of the old convent. We were made to feel welcome and served most graciously by Kellie - one of the most pleasant servers we've encountered in a long time. Our food was amazing. We shared a starter - a seared broccoli, ricotta and honey dish which was so fresh and delicious. Followed by Turkish eggs and smoked mackerel. Both excellent. Fabulous desserts of lemon tartlet and a toffee popcorn creation topping it all off. The organic wines on offer were obviously chosen to compliment the dishes on the menu and were perfect. Our bill was a little on the high side but you get what you pay for! We were more than happy with everything and will most definitely return.

Good Day Deli is located in the heart of Cork City but hidden in a convent yard where there are exhibits of Nano Nagle. It is so secluded you would actually never think that you are in a vibrant city. The gardens are just beautiful with an array of wild flowers & serenity. We sat outside to have lunch with a glass of beautiful wine. The staff were unobtrusive but efficient. We had a stunning summer salad of green peaches & Burrata which is made on a local farm. The whole experience was outstanding. Do not miss.

Beautiful atmosphere, most peaceful spot in Cork! delicious Vegetarian Food. I look forward to coming bac.

Expectations were possibly too high.... But I was super disappointed by the dry Lamingtons (which I have fond memories of from Australia). But otherwise was good. Mains were interesting, sustainable, well presented and healthy. Plus beamish cake was good. The bruschetta with caramelized apples was good. The fish tacos were the biggest disappointment (second even to the lamingtons). The tortillas themselves were stale and had a high mayo base. The fish was excellently battered and gorgeous. Would recommend removing the "taco" title and turning it into a fish and chips / salad w/ slaw. Because something further from a Mexican taco hard to find. But based on the Irish rave reviews...perhaps it's okay for the audience. Anyway, lovely cafe and will be back for the gardens. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options. Also, the paprika fries are the absolute winner overall. The lemon roulade looked gorgeous....but didn't try it. So did the pancakes w/ poached pears. Lots of options

Had the most amazing brunch there today! The location is beautiful and the food was absolutely delicious! The menu is rather short but everything sounded great, so it was actually hard to decide. I tried the 'hibiscus poached pear pancakes' and they were to die for! My friend had the vegan trio and a vegan cake afterwards and was more than happy about it as well. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. All in all, I highly recommend this beautiful café!

I've heard so many things about this place and it really didn't disappoint. From the gorgeous location, to the beautiful seating (inside and outside). The food is so thoughtfully presented and the staff are lovey, too. The menu constantly changes so you just really can't go there enough!

This is the best kept secret in cork. I highly recommend a visit. The food is absolutely gorgeous the location is 5 star and the staff are amazing.
