Limited parking. Great tasting donut. Stopped here one morning to try it out. They didn't have cash to give me change back so I received a free donut. Cool with me. Only thing I didn't get when I came in was a hello or welcome or how are you? Cool spot tho

Good dough is a complete vibe! Amazing donuts + really good matcha latte + a vegan biscuit to top it all off. They offer a vegan sandwich by the way but I ended up just grabbing the vegan biscuit and making a tofu sandwich at home. My favorite donut from them was the cardamom sugar, I’ve never seen that! And the cardamom tastes so good!! It seems apparently the brown butter is a fan fave. They have parking in the back also btw!

High quality large sized donuts. Some are very unique and creative without compromising the simplicity of a good donut. Some are more basic, they all looked incredible. All the flavors we got were incredible! We got bananoffee, brown butter, strawberry shortcake, chocolate icing w sprinkles, and lavender latte 🪻💫💞 we also got an iced coffee that took maybe 5 min to make. Great experience and lots of room for dining in! Great beverage options as well in the cooler! Spent about $32 on 6 donuts + a coffee! They also had really delicious looking breakfast sandwiches but we didn’t order any.

Hadn’t been here in a little over a year, used to be one of my favorites. Showed up, both doors are locked and it’s empty despite no signage and most social media implying it’s still open. Did some digging, and I wish I could say I’m surprised. Seems to be that someone with an oversized ego buys something good only to promptly run it into the ground anymore. Rest in peace Good Dough, you were an absolute joy in the beginning.

Update 09/24 This is still a fantastic place to get coffee and donuts. If you haven't had the pleasure to stop in, you should do so! What a lovely little cafe! You must try the butterscotch bacon donut! 🍩 The environment, workers and food were all well above excellent! Every month they change out flavors but they do keep the same chocolate and glazed available! Lots of drinks to choose from including chais, coffees, and currently ciders. Husband grabbed some lemonade since it was a little past noon. I LOVED the butterscotch bacon and brown butter donut! I also enjoyed my cranberry cream cheese cake donut. It's way more filling and reminded me of something similar inside Starbucks I used to get a long time ago. We'll be back soon!

Freshest, most delicious and creative donuts ive ever had. Sometimes they just dont have any, which is disappointing. And no - im not talking about "running out". Im talking, Saturday morning, doors open. No donuts. Sometimes the place is just locked? But I keep going back. I have to believe i will get my donut. Also great nitro cold brew made by the guys at Aardwolf

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Stopped by a few weeks ago after having not been in a year or so. Always loved stopping by this place when I was in the neighborhood. Apparently they have a new terrible owner that ran the staff off. They no longer sell donuts which they don't mention on their website or social media. As recently as October they had a post on their Instagram showing donuts. I'm not lawyer but sounds like false advertising to me. There is one employee there who is not friendly. They only sell cinnamon rolls and drip coffee. The place smells like a dump when you walk into it. I'm guessing there is no chance it would pass a health inspection. Avoid at all cost.

So here I am, it's my workiversary, and I've been craving donuts all week, and here I remember "Good Dough has vegan donuts on Fridays, but do they deliver?" I opened up the doordash app to discover that they do, in fact, deliver, but an issue arise. No vegan donuts were available on the app! I panicked. I thought maybe they no longer sell vegan donuts. I thought supply and demand. Was I not demanding enough donuts for them to keep the sale happening? I called them immediately. I really kind guy answered the phone that explained that they do not have the vegan donuts on the app but they do still sell vegan donuts on Friday's. He was so kind that he allowed me to order from the app and he'll make sure they were vegan. To be extra sure I told him what my order was and changed my name on doordash to vegan . These donuts hit the spot and I'm more than thankful to the guy that answered the phone! I will definitely be stopping by there this week to get more donuts!

Came in on a weekday morning and was immediately welcome. The space has a clean look. There were lots of different options from St. Patrick Day festivities. I opted for the matcha vanilla and coffee. The matcha wasn't pronounced as I hoped and texture more dense. The coffee though was bold, love. Definitely will try again while in the area.

The best donuts Jax hands down. They are always fresh and have a unique selection. The clerks are always very helpful and explain anything you ask about the donuts and the service is fast. The shop is cute. There are a few tables to eat in and an area for kids to play. It's definitely a place everyone needs to try and you'll definitely want to go back for more. The front faces Hendricks, but there is parking in the rear as well as an entrance to the shop.

What a great treat! I finally got the chance to grab a doughnut after making candles across the street. The doughnuts are lighter than expected, and not nearly as sweet, so they were perfect! They serve coffee and espresso to complement your doughnuts!

These donuts are amazing!!!!!! They are made with consideration of your tastebuds!! Absolutely 5/5 or 10/10. Go right now. Stop reading this. Donuts are not greasy or have that awful oil taste. They are soft, light, buttery and the icing has to be hand whipped! Made with love should be there slogan.

Great local feel, laid back ambiance and delicious options. The Chai is on point and not too sweet. Have also had good coffee. You can't go wrong with any doughnut flavor- we have tried most of them but if you do fried and chicken why not treat yourself - you will not regret it Service is usually friendly - bring cash to tip.

I celebrated national Donut Day at Good Dough with six different donuts. The employees are always so helpful and friendly in donut selection. The brown butter is my personal favorite. I love how bright the shop is from by the big window in the front. They have adorable merch available for sale too.

Went hete the other day as thr reviews were pretty good. The building and interior is cute with an old school feel. The donuts are pricey about $5 per doughnut. Although pretty that's too much. I paid $10 for 2 donuts. Come on. The customer service was excellent. My son thought the donuts were awesome.

I have followed them since their beginning in Jax and love everything about it! They have a few different types of doughnuts for everyone's taste, yeast raised, cake, layered, and bombs. They also have chicken doughwiches (so crunchy), grilled cheese and avocado doughst. My fave are the yeast and layered doughnuts as they are a little lighter and vegan Fridays when they typically have more options. Each doughnut is made with a mouthful of flavor in each bite. Customer service is always on point, staff is knowledgeable about ingredients and sensitive to food allergies, questions are welcomed. Price point is proportionate to the size and quality you get. Parking is limited to behind the building, a lot behind Vystar bank, or across the street (watch for signs). Lots of seating and natural light for the perfect doughnut selfie. Accommodating to small groups and very kid friendly. I only wish they were open longer. Don't know what to get, just go with what your heart draws you to!

Best way to kick off a Friday and national doughnut day! So many choices! All of them delicious! You can't go wrong! Next time I'll try one of the gourmet bacon egg doughnut sandwiches!

Very cool donut shop, they have plenty of options and a unique monthly flavor to keep the regulars intrigued. We had to try the Donut Fried Chicken Sandwich. This was very tasty and a surprise hit with our group. The sweet of the donut and the salty of the fried chicken worked very well together. Definitely would order again.

I've checked in here enough times to be a regular, but have yet to review. So here it is: I. Love. These. Doughnuts. Good Dough has a fun, filling, variety of doughnuts that they change up every week/few weeks to keep things interesting! My first doughnut from here was a butterbeer doughnut that they made during a Harry Potter themed week a few years back. Ever since then, I just can't resist stopping by whenever I'm in the area. Honestly, even when I'm not in the area! I've brought family here when they've come to visit and have even come by with friends on an odd day off together. I can't wait to keep loving this spot for years to come!

Stopped by towards the end of the business day but the doughnuts were all still very delicious and fresh to taste.

The service was amazing. There are many doughnut options. At no point did I feel rushed to make a choice. Each doughnut was explained to us. I ended up getting the fried chicken sandwich is is fried chicken with hot sauce and pickles between a glaze doughnut. It's a messy sandwich but it was good. I also tried one of their teas which you can get hot or cold and sweetened or unsweetened. Their raspberry glaze doughnut was good as well, a little sweet. Definitely check them out. There is a flavor for everyone.

My favorite thing about Good Dough is the creativity that they bring to the donuts. This weekend we went on (7/31). Every year, they celebrate Harry Potter'a birthday on this day with a full out decoration in the shop, themed employee outfits, and ... wait for it... Harry Potter doughnuts! We had a sorting hat Bavarian crème and ended up in ravenclaw and hufflepuff based on the inside colors. The butterscotch/butterbeer donuts with cookie dough golden snitches were awesome as well. One of my favorites here is cinnamon, cardamom & sugar. The original glaze is also fantastic. I can't wait to try the banana pudding bomb and the salted caramel mocha. Love how chewy the dough is. Such a good bite.

I visited Good Dough on National Donut Day with my wife and infant son, as the marketing got to me and put me in the mood for a donut (granted, I'm usually in the mood for a donut...). I stopped by once before and enjoyed what I had, so I wanted to branch out a bit on my second visit. We ordered a half dozen, but note that their donuts are priced individually. There are no discounts for buying a half dozen or full dozen. The half dozen we bought was $18 plus tax, which is quite a bit. Granted, some of their donuts are labor intensive and the rent in San Marco can't be cheap, but that's a lot for donuts that to me, are good, not excellent. Their raised donuts are all basically the same with a different topping. The donuts themselves are mildly sweet and have a chewy texture, which in my experience, is fairly common at a hipster donut shop like Good Dough. If you're into a chewy raised donut, this place could be your heaven. For a cake donut guy like me, it's aiight. For raised donuts, we ordered a Homer (strawberry glaze), Mangonada, milk chocolate, and an original glaze. Of these, the Homer and original glaze were the best. The milk chocolate had a mild taste and I'm not into mango, but your tastes may differ. I ordered a blueberry cake donut, which was the star of the show for me with its muffin like texture and pleasantly sweet taste. An old-fashioned milk cookie cake donut was sweet and tasty, but had an unusually chewy texture for a cake donut. If you're into chewy, raised donuts with trendy toppings, Good Dough is your spot. The staff is friendly and pleasant, and the store itself is very clean and has a lot of space to hang out while you enjoy a donut and a coffee. If you're into more traditional flavors or cake donuts, I'd recommend Daily Donuts in Orange Park.

The food was ok bought the avocado breakfast and a couple of doughnuts with 2 coffees. The doughnuts had good flavor but at ~$5 each not that good. Will try again; first experience was just so-so.

They are located next door to where I get my facials, so I decided to pop in before one visit. Everything looked delicious, then I saw the breakfast sandwich and decided that's what I would get, but first, I needed to get to my appointment. Unfortunately, the grill is closed by 1, so I got back over a little too late to enjoy one of those, BUT I did pick out a delicious donut, AND the owner made it a BOGO (they were closing soon and didn't want to waste any) and then he added I a few others that he wanted me to try. Everyone of the donuts was one of a kind, handcrafted, and delicious. Even the combos that seemed odd really worked together. Definitely would recommend and will be back. I must try that breakfast sandwich!

Popped in this morning on my way to work. On fridays in addition to regular offerings they have vegan donuts. Today they had 4 to choose from. I got 2 for hubby and 2 regular for me along with an iced latte. There were so many flavors to pick from it was hard to choose. I'm so far only ate one, my willpower is high! It was fluffernutter and it was A-MAZ-ING!

Service is great super helpful and quick and the donuts are so pretty and most tasty. Some are super big and just dry due to their not being enough frosting or filling in the pastry itself. Some of the flavors spot on but some don't really taste like you would think. Always do the bombs they are awesome!!! Pricy but decent

Had an appointment at Nemours for our youngest, swung by Good Dough since we were close by. It's been a while since we have been but we love their doughnuts!!! They have a great variety to choose from and I also like that you can order online. The Molly and the brown butter are my favorites. I am not a fan of the chai latte, but I come for the donuts :) The staff was very helpful and patient with us we were trying to figure out what donuts to order.

So this was our first time here. We came near closing , the cashier , server gentleman was sooo nice . The donuts were all very yummy . We will Be back ! Great chill atmosphere.

The Service is excellent and very friendly! I love the esthetics of the store! Really cute layout and set up! In terms of the donuts, I would recommend trying a variety of flavors to give a fair judgement of the taste. They have many fun and interesting flavors to try! I have been twice so I believe I have a decent understanding on the overall concept of their donut recipes. I am rating this shop on their service and storefront as I do not believe in writing negative reviews!

I'm not much for doughnuts, however my son said I had to try this popular doughnut stop. They have parking in the back of the store and the place was clean and smelled great. The selection of doughnuts is pretty good, I just wish they had more filled options. The cosmic brownie is my new love. Oh my gosh it was yummy. Texture and flavor. I was a bit dissapointed in the peach doughnut, it looked great and had almost 0 taste. The Vietnamese coffee doughnut was unique and the flavors made me happy, maybe fill it with a little cream,Ike cream and coffee. My son loved the bacon doughnut he likes the salty sweet balance. If your a doughnut fan this is a must try. They are a little on the pricey side at 2.75, that cosmic brownie doughnut made it all worth it.

This place is very cute and has great customer service. The people who work here are very nice. I will say that I love the glaze and frostings that I did try, but overall...this doughnut was not it for me. The taste and texture of the doughnuts were kind of in the meh, okay category for me. For the area, they are not badly priced but I won't be back. I have been looking high and low for a doughnut spot, but I will continue my search.

Tucked away in five points this small place has absolutely beautiful and tasty donuts. Various flavors that are decadent and decorated so beautifully. The donut itself is a cake donut but the icing is the best! Give this a try!

Living walking distance to Good Dough is a PROBLEM for me. I love that the selection is always changing, and I've never been disappointed. Staff is always warm and helpful and the decor is very very cute. Just a great, cozy, neighborhood spot. You will never want mass-produced donuts again (at least I don't!). As a coffee lover, my favorite item on the menu is probably the sparkling americano (I get mine with a splash of oatmilk). The barista is just the best. He's legit. My other favorite is the grilled cheese. It's just *chef's kiss.* The avocado doughst is also to die for. Definitely get there early on the weekend, so your favorite flavors don't sell out!

My favorite donut spot. Made me love doughnuts again after years of not eating them. Also love their coffee and the fact that they have the Edible publications available there. The spot is clean and has a chill open sort of atmosphere about it. Service is always great and the employees are kind and generally in good spirits.

This place is our go to Sunday morning spot. Their staple doughnuts are always good, and they have monthly specials too. Oh lawd...their doughwhich...fried chicken in the middle of a sliced glazed donuts and a spicy (maybe Sriracha) sauce is to die for. Most of their staff is always very friends. The red headed guy who's usually there on Sundays is so friendly and personable.(sorry don't know his name) They have a tiny kitchen set for kids which is a nice touch too.

The doughnuts are beautiful and delicious. It has a very clean and had a cozy vibe inside. The staff are so so kind though. My husband ordered a coffee and a doughnut and immediately dropped his coffee upside down onto his doughnut. Susan immediately whisked it all away and he had a new doughnut and coffee within a minute.

Cosy sweet spot, wouldn't necessarily say a hole in a wall but a gem. Nice wooden interior, great display of the goods ; you just have to order online if you want a specific flavor, because they sell out quick upon walk ins. Parking is up for debate but you'll manage. All in all good doughnuts.

Anytime I travel I try the highest rated doughnut shop. This one had good reviews so we decided to go! The guy behind the counter was so nice. We got half a dozen doughnuts to try. He recommended 3 and we picked another 3 for ourselves. We ordered brown butter glazed, blueberry bourbon basil, citrus olive oil and toasted almond streusel, Molly Ringwald, strawberry shortcake pop and original glaze. They donuts were all good but they weren't different. This place only fry's the dough then the puts different frosting or toppings on them. The flavors were different and unique but passed that the bread is all the same.. so it just tasted like I was eating the same thing when I tried a different flavor. Not trying to be too mean but I just think this place has a long way to go. Nothing really that stands out. Cute place though.

The very last donut available in the Good Dough at around 12:30pm was the one I took a picture of. The shop closes at 2 so it was very disappointing there was only 1 donut...that's right ONE left. They say they close at 2 or until they sell out. Not a bad problem to have I suppose if you sell out but also a bad problem when you have customers still wanting to get donuts as I saw customers still coming in. This was the Molly Ringwald Raspberry donut and I did like that raspberry glaze. However, I was not impressed with the donut texture. It tasted dry which was probably due to sitting out for so long but it tasted like a day old donut. This would not have been my choice of donut either by looking at all the delicious flavors they would have from other yelp pictures.. Wish I knew they sold out so quickly so I could've gone right when they open and got freshly baked out of the oven donuts. Not sure if I would go back. All the girl working kept saying was sorry only 1 donut. I have mixed reviews of this place.

The place is very trendy, I love that they had Jax jag paws on a donut, how cool! The donut it's self were good but honestly I feel like the flavors I got just didn't hit the spot except the apple fritter that was delicious but the paw donut with vanilla inside was okay I didn't like the texture of the donut I felt like I was biting into a loaf of bread. The brown butter was good it just needed to be on a old fashioned, I'll definitely try some different flavors next time. Another thing to add is when I was there they weren't doing the sandwiches which was a bummer but I still have hope

Sugar overload! But so worth it. Nice selection. Don't worry if line is long; customer service is solid so you'll get the the front of the line eventually! Everything I've tried gets an A or A+. And if it's your first time - parking is out back!

Really cool aesthetic in a great location, BUT the donuts were pretty mid. $35 for a dozen donuts should wow the customer. The raspberry was great, miso caramel and cardamom sugar were good, and everything else we had was just ok. The red bean paste donut was a real let down. It wasn't a red bean paste filling, but more like a custard with a touch of red bean paste for good measure. The consistency of both the cake and raised the donuts are dunkable, which I really like. We cut the donuts into 4 pieces all of us could have a taste. You can see that many of them have 2-4 pieces left. Overall it was a good experience, but not worth a return trip.

Delicious! I have been wanting to try this place out forever but never can get over here during their business hours. Sure glad I made it about 30 minutes before closing. They were out of their sandwiches and had about 8 different types of donuts left. I chose 5 different ones and all of them were delicious. I love that they had clean restrooms and a family restroom including a changing table! I wish I would have known their was parking behind the building but it was a nice little walk. Can't wait to go back.

This place is one of my favorite local doughnut shops with vegan options. I have been coming for years. My favorite are the layered specialty ones on the weekends that are offered. They are like a cross between a doughnut and croissant. Fridays they have vegan options and those have always tasted light and delicious to me. Would recommend ordering a day ahead or going earlier because they sell out. Very kid friendly and they even have a cute little play area. The coffees are really good and strong. They also have food items if you are looking for that. When I make a stop, I'm throwing all the calories away and going for a doughnut. I will say these taste definitely healthier in my opinion then some of the chain options I've tried. You won't regret it. The staff are also very kind and make great recommendations. The menu changes every month with cool options to try. Try the butterscotch bacon (mine and son's fav) and anything different on the menu for the month.

I love a fancy donut place! Good Dough totally delivered. We had stopped in Jacksonville on a road trip from NYC to Miami. Good Dough came highly recommended from our hotel. We decided to stop as we continued our drive south and I was so glad we did. We placed an order online to pick up and chose a Bill Murray donut that was filled with oreo cheesecake and had an oreo crumb portrait of Bill on top and a brown butter donut. Both were excellent and fluffy. I was so glad we decided to order online as when i arrived a little before 9 and the line inside was already substantial. It's a small shop with only so much room behind the counter, so temper your expectations about how quickly you'll be able to get in and out! My food experiences were definitely my favorite part about Jacksonville.

I will forever recommend this local gem! The staff is so unbelievably friendly! The donuts and donut sandwiches are so delicious! I can't say enough good things, 12/10 recommend. I would give 6 stars if I could.

Lovely local Donut shop, kid friendly with an inviting and open ambiance. I came in with a group of friends and toddlers, it's spacious enough for our group to hang for almost two hours. Lattes and cappuccinos are a work of A R T. Hand crafted drinks with a touch of perfection. I enjoyed every sip of it. Donuts wise, I like all of the flavors. And would like to come back to try the fried chicken sandwich. We got to watch the doughnut making process through the glass window, so that was pretty cool. My son had fun watching the employees prepare for the doughnuts and decorating them. The kid area has enough toys to keep them occu6for a while. They have a little kitchen and wooden foods and cooking toys for the kids to play. I thought that was pretty neat.

If I could tell you one thing, and one thing only, it would be to order that donut fried chicken sandwich. I ordered a dozen of donuts and the donut chicken sandwich. The stars were that delicious chicken sandwich on a warm classic donut and the strawberry donut. Like I dream of the day that me and that sandwich meet again. My mouth is drooling just talking about it.

We stopped here on our way out of Jacksonville and were pretty excited based on reviews and photos of the donuts.. how disappointing. We got the mango, captain crunch and blueberry donuts. The blueberry was actually pretty fantastic. The other two donuts tasted a day or two old with some glaze on top. We essentially took a bite or two then tossed them.

Yummy donuts, but even better employees. We had an online order today that for some reason wasn't showing- not sure if it was a glitch since a different date was shown or something else happened. Sent my husband for the pickup and called when this all happened. Spoke with Andy I believe, she was super nice and helpful and looking through everything as well as taking my number in case I was double charged (I heard the crowd and she still took her time and didn't rush our conversation). She also offered to box my order so my husband didn't have to wait in the line. Turns out he already made it through the long line pretty quickly and so it was not necessary. He told me he spoke with a couple people there and they were also super nice and helpful. Great hiring, seems like this Sunday crew were amazing dealing with the crowds and calls. Thanks :) Kids loved the Harry Potter donuts too, even if they wound up as Slytherins.

My niece wanted donut, but I didn't want to go to chain donut place. I decided to check out Good Dough. I'm not a huge donut fan (I guess I gorged out on honey buns as a kid lol), but I was still excited to try these donuts. We decide to get three donuts to take a taste of some different options. We got the matcha, strawberry cheesecake, and the brown butter donuts. The texture of the donuts were dense which was nice. I felt that the strawberry cheesecake and brown butter was a little to sweet for me. The matcha was an interesting pair for a donut. I think I probably should have just gotten the original because I really enjoyed the donuts alone but the glaze and topping for me were a little too sweet, but again I'm not a big donut person. I would love to try this place again. Also, they make a nice chai tea latte.

We woke up extra early to make it out on Friday ahead. The staff as always very courteous, the atmosphere is clean, and the doughnuts are delicious!!! We got a 4 pack to start the birthday weekend off right. They're so fresh and fluffy, it's a dream to eat.
