Highly recommend Good Eats Bakeshop.
Nice staff and welcoming.
Ended up in East Harlem this afternoon during what started as a simple morning stroll with my mom. We don't live in the area, but decided to cross Central Park just to walk and before we knew it, morning turned into afternoon.
While walking through East Harlem on 106th and Lexington, my mom and I came across the cutest little spot Good Eats Bakeshop. They're fairly new to the neighborhood, and since we were starting to get hungry, we decided to check it out before continuing our walk.
The place is cozy, clean, and really well-kept. Their menu has a nice variety coffee, lattes, paninis, wraps, salads, juices, water, and of course, baked goods.
We ordered two smoothies and three baked treats. The smoothies were exactly how we like them not too sweet and they give you the option of milk, oat milk, or water as a base.
The cheese danish was fresh and delicious, and my mom's marble chocolate slice was incredibly moist and full of flavor.
Definitely a great little gem if you're in the area.
