We came across this place on a road trip to MI. This place had the best Chicken fried steak we’ve ever had. We also had the Cajun Benedict, and it was delicious! Service was so friendly from the door to table. I would definitely go back!

The wait wasn’t long at all. Our server was a sweetheart. The food was good but the green chili on top of my omelette was slightly cold, maybe just from the sour cream? The flavor of the green chili was really dang good though, and the omelette was large, fluffy and cooked perfectly. The tots didn’t taste freshly fried. More like they are pre-made and put under a warmer or something. I ended up sharing my tots with the table. All in all, I enjoyed my meal and would just order a different side next time. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his shrimp and grits. Definitely a decent breakfast spot and I would come back again and again for the pop tarts! We got a brown sugar cinnamon one to share with the table and we all gave it a 10! I would love to try different flavors next time as well.

During our family road trip to Colorado, we stopped in Lincoln, Nebraska, and discovered Good Evans Breakfast and Lunch — and wow, what a great find! The breakfast was absolutely delicious! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing family meal. The staff was outstanding — friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. A special shoutout to the manager, who stopped by our table twice to make sure everything was to our liking. That kind of service really stands out. If you’re ever in Lincoln, don’t miss the chance to enjoy a meal at Good Evans. We left full and happy — highly recommend it!

For its prices, not bad as the proportions were good and some of the dishes were flavorful and tasty. Friend highly recommended the southwest bene, Mexican power bowl, or country fried steak. Our server was nice and service was fast (though bc of how busy, they did forget our pancakes). Overall, not a bad place to get brunch from.

Food delicious. Service excellent. We had Faye as our waitress, and she was awesome. We had the Chicken Fried steak and the Persea Americana omelet, and they were great. Slight wait time to be expected with such an amazing place to eat. Highly recommend for a Sunday brunch.

Great service and even great-er food! Highly recommend the veggie Benedict even if you aren't vegetarian. The hollandaise and pesto sauces with the sundried tomatoes and picked red peppers were unreal

10/10 totally recommend. I personally had the yogurt with season fruit, I switched my toast to a sweet potato pancake- and have zero regrets. So good. My partner stuck with the classic and traditional pancakes. The chicken sausage was great, according to him-and he is picky, and said the pancakes were the best he's had in awhile. The coffee was good and they have a little batista set up where you can order lattes, chai teas, espresso etc.. Definitely a new favorite stop for me while in Lincoln. They also had a big selection of non-traditional Benedict's which was a huge plus as no one makes a good Benedict in town.

First time eating here and it was awesome. The host was very nice the waiter very nice and helpful. The food was amazing and looked amazing too. Will be going back for sure. Can't wait to try lunch. I had the avocado toast and my son had the breakfast pie mmm. Second time now and still 5 stars on all great place. Will stop here every time I'm in Lincoln.
