The rooftop bar at Hotel Heron is absolutely gorgeous - spectacular panoramic views that stretch across the city and waterfront. It’s the perfect place to unwind as the sun sets, with a chic yet relaxed atmosphere. The cocktails are exceptional — beautifully crafted, balanced, and full of fresh, creative flavors. Each one feels thoughtfully designed to complement the setting. Whether you’re enjoying a classic or one of their signature mixes, you can’t go wrong. The vibe is elegant without being pretentious, and the service is friendly and attentive. Perfect for just soaking in a gorgeous view with a great drink in hand.

Great potential, lovely views, great staff - but the music / vibe is sleepy and doesn’t align with the rest of the atmosphere. We asked to change the music but they weren’t able to. Would love for it to be a little more lively and attract at the attention it deserves!

What Alexandria is missing - a 360 rooftop bar. Great views over Old Town to the Masonic Temple, Wilson Bridge, Potomac, and DC in the distance. Fresh, creative cocktails. Very kind staff. Thanks Krishawn!

Came by for drinks with friends on the rooftop, and it was fantastic. Our server Jenny was friendly and quick, and made great recommendations on drinks. The hosts and everyone were very accommodating trying to make sure we had what we needed. Views were lovely as well, and the way the seats are set up outside of the immediate bar area gives each group some privacy. Will absolutely be back.

Drinks were good, staff was great when it rained heavily, they were not concerned with tips and closed out the tab for us. Will be back soon!

A cute rooftop in old town Alexandria. It was super hot the day my friend and I went, so we didn't stay long. However on a nice spring or fall day, this would be a nice spot for drinks and light food options. They don't have any fans or much shade, so it wasn't comfortable to sit out there in peak heat. The staff were friendly and the drinks were delicious. Blood Moon ($14) - 5/5 their version of a sangria. So delicious! House Chips ($4) - 3/5 it's just chips, nothing extra Hummus ($13)- 5/5 served with pitas chips and veggies. So delicious!
