Yelp
We ordered via Uber Eats. The food came within the promised time and was nice and hot. Orders were accurate except for a misunderstanding with the Hunan beef combo; the way it is listed seems like fried rice comes with it. In reality you have to click to upgrade for $1.25 or you'll just get the white rice. Just some confusing wording on the uber site.
We ordered chicken fried rice, Hunan beef, shrimp yat, wonton soup, and extra egg rolls.
- egg rolls were average. Not bad, not mind blowing.
- wonton soup was pretty good. I felt the broth had some depth of flavor and there was a generous amount of wontons
- Hunan beef was a small portion of beef, the beef was pretty tough, and not a great flavor
- chicken fried rice had a great color and I was expecting more flavor than it had. It was average.
- the shrimp yat was pretty good. The hard boiled egg was different; hoping it would be a jammy egg but I've never had this dish before so not judging based on that. The shrimp were fine, and the flavor and texture of the noodles was good
Overall, I'm still searching for my favorite Chinese takeout in town. This spot wasn't bad, but wouldn't be my first choice.
