Good Friend

This was my first time ordering from Good Friend Chinese Takeaway, and I was thoroughly impressed. The dishes were authentic, full of flavor, and tasted exactly as they should. It stands out significantly from other local Chinese takeaways, this place genuinely caters for my tastebuds. I will definitely be ordering again and highly recommend giving them a try!

I ordered sweet and sour pork balls, steamed prawn dumplings and banana fritters in syrup, I had some issues with my phone number but the restaurant was very friendly and made sure everything was okay, the delivery was fast and the delivery guy was very nice too. As for the food everything was good, the prawn dumplings were specially tasty and the portions aren't small!

I recently tried the Sweet and Sour Chicken from Good Friends, and it was a delightful experience. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside, while remaining tender and juicy on the inside. The sweet and sour sauce had the ideal balance of tanginess and sweetness, coating each piece of chicken generously without being overwhelming. The accompanying vegetables were fresh and added a nice crunch to the dish. Overall, the Sweet and Sour Chicken was satisfying and flavorful, making it a great choice for a quick and delicious meal.

The food is normally great at this place but one thing about them they have no customer service. I have been calling the number to get a delivery of food on and off for over a hour since 8.00pm No one answers even though they should be open. it’s 9pm on a Friday night. Their phone has no recorded message that lets you know if they are closed and so you could be ringing the phone in vain til thy kingdom come! They do this on a regular basis leaving you stranded without any information at all. I mean do they want business or not? Sometimes they will just not answer the phone! I’ll just take my money elsewhere thanks for nothing!

Ok I been here a couple times just for convenience and it was mediocre Just ordered a special curry no seafood as I’m allergic and got this I was a chef for a while and I’m not even sure if what’s in the picture is meat It was Basicly mushrooms and onions and whatever the hell that stuff in the picture is I wouldn’t even give to my dog Ended up wiv a Maccies Avoid avoid avoid

Has great food! Their rice bowls are in big portions so you're in for a treat. Great comfort food.

I've was a regular customer a couple years ago and revisit today. ordered sesame prawn toast and other items. The sesame prawn toast turned up to be a CHICKEN! When called the restaurant I was told is half and half! They didn't even try to make it right. Never again I will order from them - who knows what half and half they will serve.
