Seattle Restaurant and Bar Openings to Know for November 2025 | Eater Seattle

"A more straightforward Ballard bar in the former Greater Good space, this spot runs a limited food menu centered on hot dogs alongside a large cocktail list that we’re excited about because one of the co-owners is Matthew Gomez, recently of Dark Room." - Harry Cheadle

Absolutely outstanding cocktails. You can have a few high end amazing drinks and a delicious cheap hotdog and get out with tax and tip under $30. Well worth a try!

Good Grief is a fantastic new neighborhood cocktail bar in Ballard. The drinks are interesting and approachable, and service was quick and friendly. We tried several cocktails but the highlights for me were the Parsnipple Twist and the Truffle Shuffle. I've not had a milk punk on a carbonated draft before, and the texture ends up truly exceptional

Absolutely in love with this gem in Ballard. It’s very old school Seattle with live music, great hot dogs, and the best cocktails you’ve ever experienced.

Check out this awesome new Ballard cocktail bar. The drinks are insanely creative (anchovy-washed booze?! I know, but it totally works). We grabbed a couple of hot dogs and they were delicious, and everyone who worked there was super friendly. The whole place just has great energy. Definitely going back.

Great new bar! I love the old music videos and booze commercials they show on the bar TVs. If you are into craft cocktails, they have an impressive and well thought out list of specials! Awesome place for a date night too!

Love this new place- we came in on a Thursday night and it was busy but still plenty of seats. Tasty and interesting drinks at very reasonable prices. Great atmosphere. We will be back.

Yelp
We popped into Good Grief on Saturday night while walking around the Ballard Christmas night market. Their menu is different and eclectic, with rock and roll albums and decorations throughout the bar. Each table has a chess/checker board built into it, and you can get pieces from the bar if you want to play. They were playing old school music videos from the 80s and had stacks of cassette tapes for decor. Cool little spot! Service was a bit slow but it was pretty busy and looked like they might have has someone call out sick. Super cute spot.
