Good Harvest - Review - Doraville - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"Good Harvest, which shares the iconic Asian Square plaza withKamayan ATLand Quoc Huong, makes a good date night thanks to cozy lighting and a trendy yet traditional interior. Conversations can go uninterrupted since a robot zips around with trays of food, but helpful servers are always ready to step in with suggestions. Plus, Good Harvest offers something most spots don’t—amazing Sichuan dry pots, aptly named for its intensely bold flavors and lack of broth. Here, you can go AYCE and a la carte. You can notch up the spice (the third level gets runny nose-hot), and mix and match flavors and proteins. We enjoy the chili shrimp and calamari, golden pepper flounder and short ribs with black pepper sauce." - Candy Hom

This is a fantastic spot for both hot pot and dry pot! We ordered the dry pot with fish and shrimp—absolutely delicious. The fish was especially flavorful, and the vegetables were perfectly cooked. They also have a great sauce bar where you can mix your own dipping sauce to your taste. One thing to note: it was a bit chilly inside, so bring a sweater just in case.

Overall, a pretty good restaurant. Focused on dry pot and hot pot. I gave it three stars instead of four because I think it's a little pricey for what you get. On the positives: the place is clean. The service is friendly. The food is pretty good but not exceptional. I wouldn't mind coming back here again but wouldn't go out of my way.

Love this place for drypot! Hotpot is good too! Get the flounder and spicy diced chicken. You’re welcome. I come here at least once a month! You won’t be disappointed 👊 I

Great food and ambiance. Especially enjoyed the prime rib dry pot, chicken and shrimp pot, and fish hot pot. The service was great, too. Seems very authentic. Recommend coming here with large groups since the portion sizes are quite large. Posting a photo of their July 4 promo spin the wheel for a discount!

The only thing good about this restaurant was the layout and design. Our server was not enthusiastic at all, she looked like she was just over it, the Hispanic lady that was cleaning up tables was doing more than anyone else in the front. We order two of the pancakes things, I swear each time I come , it gets thinner and thinner. I’m pretty sure the prices went up too but the quality definitely went down a lot. I also got the dry wok the shrimp and the frog legs it had so much poop inside, I don’t even know what to say to that. I’m definitely not satisfied at all. I say avoid this at all cost, the quality went down so much. Go anywhere else in the plaza and I’m sure it’s better.

We went yesterday and the food was great. It’s not the traditional Chinese. My wife and I tried two other Chinese restaurants with this similar flavor cuisines (don’t know what it’s called) with much stronger flavors but this one have that flavor sort of “mild”. And my wife ordered a mini hotpot to try, it was good too. The service was good and the portion was very generous. My wife and I couldn’t stop complimenting when eating. This is a “come back” place for sure! 🤩

Had an amazing meal at Good Harvest ATL! We ordered three dry mixed pots, and each one was packed with flavor. The Chili Shrimp and Calamari was outstanding—bold, spicy, and incredibly tasty, even the cauliflower soaked up the flavors beautifully. The Frog Pot was another standout, perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. The Grilled Fish Pot was also delicious, with a rich, aromatic sauce that complemented the fish perfectly. Highly recommend this spot if you love authentic, flavorful Sichuan-style dry pots. Definitely coming back for more!

Friendly staff though they don't speak English well. Therefore, it's a bit difficult to explain or ask for the specific dish. Hot pot broth is good but the frozen beef for hot pot is not as fresh. They used to have a lot more options for meat section but it's more limited now. The service is good, they refill hot pot broth for free. My parents prefer the restaurant back in the years they first opened.
