Good Harvest - Review - Doraville - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"Good Harvest, which shares the iconic Asian Square plaza withKamayan ATLand Quoc Huong, makes a good date night thanks to cozy lighting and a trendy yet traditional interior. Conversations can go uninterrupted since a robot zips around with trays of food, but helpful servers are always ready to step in with suggestions. Plus, Good Harvest offers something most spots don’t—amazing Sichuan dry pots, aptly named for its intensely bold flavors and lack of broth. Here, you can go AYCE and a la carte. You can notch up the spice (the third level gets runny nose-hot), and mix and match flavors and proteins. We enjoy the chili shrimp and calamari, golden pepper flounder and short ribs with black pepper sauce." - Candy Hom

Google
Overall, a pretty good restaurant. Focused on dry pot and hot pot. I gave it three stars instead of four because I think it's a little pricey for what you get. On the positives: the place is clean. The service is friendly. The food is pretty good but not exceptional. I wouldn't mind coming back here again but wouldn't go out of my way.

Love this place for drypot! Hotpot is good too! Get the flounder and spicy diced chicken. You’re welcome. I come here at least once a month! You won’t be disappointed 👊 I

Atlanta's Favorite Dual Mala If you are looking for the best authentic mala hotpot in the area, it's here. Happy 6 Year Anniversary I hope to visit for many more years! Latest visit:: 1 Dry mala ying yang pot - Yes, ma + la with your choice of pepper, meat, spice level, and more. Ribs and shrimp, but all of the flavors are delicious. 2 Chaparti - At least 8 flavors of sweet and savory crispy stuffed pancake offered. We ordered durian and laogama this time. 3 Bullfrog Sour Pepper hotpot - This is the favorite dish of most of my friends. The meat is so tender and sauce is luxurious. 4 Fresh Juice - The juices here are so fresh and delicious, especially the watermelon. 5 Cold Appetizers - I'm a fan of all the appetizers here. This time we ordered sliced beef. Modern, magical atmosphere. Kind servers. Cool robot delivery.

Google
This is a fantastic spot for both hot pot and dry pot! We ordered the dry pot with fish and shrimp—absolutely delicious. The fish was especially flavorful, and the vegetables were perfectly cooked. They also have a great sauce bar where you can mix your own dipping sauce to your taste. One thing to note: it was a bit chilly inside, so bring a sweater just in case.

Google
The best experience ever, we came here by chance and it was the best dinner my wife and have had in a long time, excellent food and excellent service, 10 stars!!!

Google
Great food and ambiance. Especially enjoyed the prime rib dry pot, chicken and shrimp pot, and fish hot pot. The service was great, too. Seems very authentic. Recommend coming here with large groups since the portion sizes are quite large. Posting a photo of their July 4 promo spin the wheel for a discount!

Google
Had an amazing meal at Good Harvest ATL! We ordered three dry mixed pots, and each one was packed with flavor. The Chili Shrimp and Calamari was outstanding—bold, spicy, and incredibly tasty, even the cauliflower soaked up the flavors beautifully. The Frog Pot was another standout, perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. The Grilled Fish Pot was also delicious, with a rich, aromatic sauce that complemented the fish perfectly. Highly recommend this spot if you love authentic, flavorful Sichuan-style dry pots. Definitely coming back for more!

Google
The only thing good about this restaurant was the layout and design. Our server was not enthusiastic at all, she looked like she was just over it, the Hispanic lady that was cleaning up tables was doing more than anyone else in the front. We order two of the pancakes things, I swear each time I come , it gets thinner and thinner. I’m pretty sure the prices went up too but the quality definitely went down a lot. I also got the dry wok the shrimp and the frog legs it had so much poop inside, I don’t even know what to say to that. I’m definitely not satisfied at all. I say avoid this at all cost, the quality went down so much. Go anywhere else in the plaza and I’m sure it’s better.

Yelp
This was my third visit, and they never stop amazing me--especially impressive given how popular this place is with Asian diners (always a good sign!). I don't think they have any bad dishes here, but it really helps to know your taste preferences--whether you like savory, mild, or super spicy flavors. Just let your server know, and they'll guide you well. Today, I loved the so flavorful frog dish my friend ordered at the spiciest level! The vegetables were cooked perfectly--tender but still with a nice crunch. Service was excellent too, with prompt water refills and staff consistently checking in to make sure we were doing well.

Yelp
Had the beef and ribs dry pot. Good mix, and good garnishes. Ribs were quite flavorful. good portions. Service and atmosphere was about average.

Yelp
Really good food, the spicy frog pots are a must try. The hot pot is really good too, has a delicious mushroom hot pot broth that's a must try. They also make a fresh sour cabbage fish soup and it's so delicious! So these are the 3 must tries: spicy frog pots, sour cabbage fish soup and their hot pot. It's huge so you either bring a group or come back 3 different times if it's just you and one other. The service is not the best, if you come late, they start cleaning and mopping and the chemical smells ruin the appetite, outside of that it's good so just don't go after 9 PM.

Yelp
Really good Chinese hot pot and dry pot place in Doraville! We got the half/half dry pot today, and it was very good. I especially enjoyed the shrimp, as it was very flavorful but the fish was also delicious. We also tried the pineapple flatbread, which was an interesting combination but actually very good. I would love to come here again to try some of their other pots!

Yelp
This place was great..We enjoyed ourselves and stuffed our mouths! Place is big enough that you're not packed in around each other-it's clean and well stocked. The staff is super nice and very attentive to table clearing and getting anything you need and keeping our broth refilled. Food selection is perfection-menus are not overly confusing and being able to take the HotPot menu and mark off what we wanted and then pass it off was nice. The frog legs were dry fried to perfection and super clean. We are both suckers for anything dry fried and Sichuan peppers/chilis...Chicken was equally prepared well. This would be the perfect place to take a mix of newbie hot pot'ers and old vets. There is enough authentic dishes like pork brains and intestines to satisfy the hardcorers but you can get approachable options of thinly shaved beef and commonly known veggies too. Eating as a group in the center or each getting their own pot at the same table...it's perfect. The sauce/dipping bar is self service and they've got it all...mix up concoctions until your heart is content. Will be back.

Yelp
Overall really good hot pot! Bone broth starts out with a lighter & delicate note but gets progressively richer as you cook more meats and veggies. The meat and side ingredients were of high quality, all of them were very tasty. Also very satisfied with the service -- our waitstaff was especially attentive. Will definitely come back to try the dry pot.

Yelp
I got hot pot to share with my family. For four of us, it was about $90. We got the tomato and beef bases- I preferred the beef but both were good. The meat and veggies were good and options were broad. The service was decent. Bonus- NCT Dream & NCT 127 visited last year and they have a menu signed by the members framed up front.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try Good Harvest for awhile. Ogling the photos of the dry pot dishes and hoping it was going to be as good as the reviews have said. Today we gave it a try and of course ordered too much. We ordered the Buttery & Spicy Hot Pot and a Mix & Match dry pot, along with Charpati. The hot pot soup was delicious although I thought it was too buttery/greasy...hubby disagreed. Next time I want to try the mushroom broth. For the dry pot, we had flounder with rattan pepper and prime rib with black pepper sauce. Both were exquisite - tender fish and beef and the seasoning was perfect. I really can't get enough of Sichuan food. I love how your mouth and lips can burn so good from the spiciness, and then about 10 mins later all those sensations are gone and you are craving more! The Charpati was an unexpected delight. We ordered scallion to eat with our entrees and banana to have later for dessert. Both were delicious - I have a new food addiction. Thanks, Good Harvest for packing a punch with your delicious food!

Yelp
Good service, good sauce bar. I tried the flounder dry pot and the green chili flavor was not that flavorful at all. Maybe get the red chilli flavor instead. Also tried the hotpot with bone broth. The broth was good. The amount of food you get is not a lot though for the price.

Yelp
Came back second time, this time taking our parents with us. Food came out fast. Service is adequate. Clean and spacious interior. Our favorite was the crispy fish. If you give them a review on Google, you get a free charpati.
google avatar

Lily S.

Yelp
Second time here and trying their hot pot. I think the prices can be a bit steep while the service is spotty and had to wave 75% of the time. Hot pot was flavorful and the broth felt much more loaded (料足) than china hot pot. But the sauce station wasn't that impressive and the overall was quite expensive (200$+ for 2).
google avatar

Maha S.

Yelp
The food was much better last time. It may be the communication...if you don't know Chinese you may be at a disadvantage. We had someone in our group who was vegetarian and it was hard to find options in the menu.
google avatar

Yelp
Service was 10/10. Our waiter was very attentive and always checked in on us to give us more water or broth. The broth was so good -- we had the mushroom and bone broth soup bases which were amazing and flavorful!! The interior design was clean and homey, creating the perfect atmosphere for a therapeutic hotpot night. The food was amazing as well - we were able to fill our personal hotpot bowls with high quality ingredients. Overall a great night with great hotpot.

Yelp
Overpriced and underwhelming food with HAIR in pancake. Ended up spending about 50 dollars per person when other restaurants nearby offer much more authentic food for about 30-40 dollars each. We ordered the mix and match dry pot with chili chicken and prime rib, expecting flavor, but it was bland and the cauliflower undercooked. The thousand-year egg appetizer seemed like store-bought eggs with soy sauce. The only decent dish was the durian pancake; however, we found a hair in the pineapple pancake. When we complained, the waiter tried to pass it off as minced pork until the manager intervened. She ended up not charging us for the dish. Additionally, the abundance of five-star reviews on Google seems suspect, possibly due to the restaurant's practice of offering free food for positive reviews. Overall, Good Harvest failed to deliver on its promise of quality cuisine and left us unsatisfied. Not recommended.
google avatar

Alexandria N.

Yelp
Pretty good for an a la carte hot pot menu. They have a wide variety of broths, meat, veggies, and noodles. They have a large room in the back for bigger parties. We were able to reserve that room for 20 people. My only reservation is that if you use that room, your total bill has to be equivalent of each person spending at least $20. If you're going to order a lot of food from the hot pot menu, that's pretty easy to meet. But if people are splitting dry pots or other menu items, it may be more difficult to meet that minimum.
google avatar

Anita L.

Yelp
Food was okay but not for me. Basically, you have a choice of mild spicy or hot spicy pepper sauce and then you pick from a list of the proteins you want. It is fairly expensive - it was good and tasty as a pepper sauce but not great. I don't see myself returning to this restaurant. When I was there, a table of people came in, looked at the menu, and got up and left. So, Just know what you're getting yourself into when you go there. I think they do have some other hot pots that you can make yourself, but the menu is difficult to decipher and the servers barely spoke English. So, good luck.
google avatar

Leon L.

Yelp
All the dishes here are full of flavor. We ordered multiple dry pots (diced chicken and shrimp pot was yummy). These dishes all come with a spicy kick, so if you're someone like me who has a 0 spice tolerance, let the waiters know to go easy on the hot levels. I would recommend the durian pancake if you want to go out of your comfort zone. Tasted pretty good from what I had imagined. It didn't really have the stinky strong smell. Good service and helped us with all our needs.

Yelp
On a Saturday night around 730, we had to wait for 30 minutes for a table for four. But the food came out lickety split so i can't even be mad. Get the cucumbers, black fungus, pork floss charpati (x2), and the dry hot pot of chili shrimp and spare ribs. Stupid good. Im def coming back to try the traditional hot pot next time.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this place for a while and finally got a group of friends to join. The restaurant is located in the same plaza as sweet hut. Inside the restaurant was really nice too. A lot of people told us to get the dry hot pot and it was good! A lot of spices and flavors. Our favorite was the prime ribs and the frog. The fish was a bit disappointing because it did say crispy but it sure was not crispy or even fried. The quail was good and have a bit of sweetness to it. It was just a lot of bones and a bit hard to eat. Both dish looks like a lot but the meat portion was not too too much. A lot of it is just filled with pepper and cauliflower. It does come with rice so that does help filled us up for the 6 of us. Everything came up to be $137.00 with tips. I would come back again and maybe give the broth hot pot a try.

Yelp
My usual spot is J's Mini Hot pot. This is a close second if you're in the Chamblee area, great spot to check out. Menus selection was extensive, great loud music too.
google avatar

Yelp
The food was delicious at Good Harvest. Each time I visit, I am never disappointed with my food. The food is flavorful with just the right amount of spice. I ordered the flounder and shrimp dry pot. So yummy. For the price, they should have more fish/shrimp/ seaweed bowties/cauliflower; not a bowl filled with peppers.
google avatar

Yelp
Highly recommend to try the dry pit. It's full of flavor and delicious. The service is also very good, friendly and attentive. The restaurant Chinese theme decor is also very nice.

Yelp
Came here with my family of four on Christmas! The service was great. Our waitress was super nice and helpful in guiding us which dry hot pots to order. There were also robot waiters which was kind of cute, kind of gimmicky. (Just reminded me of Hai Di Lao but the robots were less cute). The dry hot pot with the frogs is the way to go. They gave big portions although I did wish they gave more seafood.

Yelp
Wanted to try something new and was curious about "dry pot" so we came here for dinner. The Restaurant was very clean and nicely decorated and we were happily greeted by a friendly host and immediately seated. (Although the restaurant was consistently full with mostly Asian patrons the entire time we were there.) We didn't get hot pot (It's expensive and everything is priced a la cart so I would stick with J's mini hot pot down the street for that) but tried their dry pot which is basically yummy stir fry in a pot? We tried a 3 combo with chili shrimp and calamari, soy short rib, and flounder for $55. Our favorite was the shrimp and calamari (note that shrimp is fried with head and skin on). The short rib was good but barely any meat on the bones. Flounder was also tasty but it was steamed (I think?) so the texture was very soft, which might turn some people off. All of the proteins came with a ton of vegetables, which I loved! Cauliflower, peppers, kelp, onions, etc. we also ordered a side of scallion charpati, which was good when it first came out, but became doughy once cooled. It was good to dip in the vinegar sauce that our side of cucumbers came in. Overall a pleasant dining experience with nice service, although toward the end of our meal, we could tell the staff wanted us to GTFO to make way for others haha. (One group was waiting maybe 5 minutes.) We took the hint and left for Ding Tea next door.

Yelp
I tried this chain before in NY, so I wanted to take my friends because they have amazing dry pot. It started out on the wrong foot because it was a super busy night, so the wait was over an hour long. We decided to order the green scallion and the banana charpati as our appetizer to snack on while we waited for the main food. However, they were not served first. We had to wait another 30 minutes, and they ended up coming out after all of the main dishes were served, so we were super hungry. The food made up for the really long wait. We ordered the Sour Cabbage Fish Soup, a mix and match with the flounder and spicy diced chicken, and one pot of the spare ribs for 6 people. Just be mindful of the amount of oil they use in the dry pots and soup, but it was absolutely delicious! It was the perfect amount of food since we were able to try a little bit of each and only had a little leftover in the end. The atmosphere is great for those in a larger group setting. If you're okay with a little wait at busy times and sharing portions, then this is perfect.

Yelp
Food was delicious and the waitress helped my American coworkers picked food that's more inline with their palette.

Yelp
3.5 stars if I could Atmosphere: as of last weekend, the parking lot is barricaded towards the back so the spots directly in front of the restaurant are limited. You may have to circle around the other way and walk through the cones which isn't too much of a hassle. Inside, you can see the sauce bar, there are plenty of booths and giant round tables for family style eating. Each of the tables have flat burners for hot pot or for any other dishes that require it. Food/price: family style is the way to go because the dishes are just so huge! My friends and I shared: Sauce bar - usually reserved for the hot pot bar but the waitress said anyone could use! They have bowls underneath and you can mix and match different things to make the perfect sauce for you. From chili flakes, fresh garlic, sesame sauce, chili oil, cilantro, and more! Highly recommend making your sauces before eating so you can dip with every bite. Scallion charpati ($7.95) - charpati is basically a flat bread, very thin and flakey and delicious especially with the right filling. The scallion one was a bit underwhelming because there wasn't much flavor. This one needed sauce for sure. Pork floss charpati ($7.95) - sooo good. The pork floss has a slight sweetness which was nice and it added great flavor to the charpati. I couldn't stop eating them! Mix & Match ($39.95) - spicy diced chicken with golden pepper and prime ribs black (pepper sauce). Both of the meats came with veggies, specifically cauliflower. The spicy diced chicken was good. The chicken was boneless so easy to eat, had spice and had a slight crispiness. The prime ribs were meaty, and the sauce wasn't too overpowering which was nice. Frog with red and horn pepper ($44.95) - my issue with the frog is that it has so many bones! So the ratio of meat to bone is pretty low, you're just constantly biting and taking out cartilage/bone with every bite. The flavor I want to say was exactly like the spicy diced chicken lol. I would rather eat the chicken bc of it being boneless. Overall, I do think that the prices are a bit high compared to other similar type restaurants I've been to. Their spicy diced chicken and pork floss charpati are worth getting.

Yelp
Amazing food. Great atmosphere. Great spot to bring family. We had hot pot and there was so much food and choices.

Yelp
It is pricey but worth it!! I was reluctant to try this place at first because I thought it'd be one of those places that are rip offs and you get very little for what you pay. That is not the case for this place. The portion sizes are huge! We got a trio combo with crab/shrimp, beef ribs, and fish for $54.95. We were full before even making a dent on the dish. We also tried the hotpot this time with pork bone soup. The broth ($3.95) is so thick and rich, they definitely did not skimp on the ingredients. We also I ordered a few sides (prices vary) to go with it but those were more on pricey side I'd say. My bf said he liked the soup so much he will just get that by itself next time ! Overall I really like this place but it can definitely get pricey. We paid almost $100 for just the two of us. But to be fair we did have a lot of leftovers to take home and ate it for several meals. Would recommend! Also parking is ample in the plaza.

Yelp
When this place first opened, I really bought into the hype and thought the food was refreshing since we don't have many restaurants that serve these types of pot style dishes. The dry pot came with two different dishes, the chicken and prime ribs. I thought they really skimped out on the ribs for the price of the dish. It was 8 additional dollars on top of the dish for the ribs. They were good, but def not worth 50 dollars for the entire pot. The chicken pieces were also quite small. The other pot we got had fatty beef slices and fish. The sauce that was in the fish was not my favorite, I thought it was a little too sour. The beef dish was pretty good and no complaints. Also beware, if you get a reservation for a room they expect you to order $200 worth of food. However, with the prices of the food and hotpot ordering style I thought it wasn't too hard to achieve. But overall, I thought it was overpriced and service was subpar.

Yelp
I was excited to try a new hot pot joint in atlanta, but good harvest turned out to be just another hot pot place. The decor is nice and modern, which I appreciate. Their broth is a OK though. It's kinda expensive too. Service was good. Overall, a mediocre place for hot pot
google avatar

Heather K.

Yelp
I visited with my friends to try their dry poooot. Half of us never been so we just went off friend's recommendations. There are not a lot of restaurants, if any, in Atlanta that serves mainly dry pots. We ordered soy beef ribs and fish, which was flavorful. I feel like I rarely venture outside of my usual because it's always regretful but this was yum! Friends suggested that the "premium" meats or fish don't really taste too different and actually prefer the ones that do not cost extra. The waitress kind of rushed us so we ended up ordering more food than we wanted because she said it's "too busy" so it might take a long time for us to get our food so we ordered hot pot dishes at the same time. We over ordered about 1/3 more than we needed. Leftovers were enough to go home and cook a meal. We already paid for it so we took the leftover vegetables and noodles to go. They do have a robot server but it cannot recognize items in front of the table so it might run things over. The charpati was inconsistent. The scallion version we ordered was crispy, flakey, and light. While the durian one we ordered was wet and soggy. Overall, I think it was a good first visit but the meal was somewhere around $180-200 for a group of 5 which is expensive.
google avatar

Hunter M.

Yelp
Absolute best in town for Szechuan cuisine. Their dry pots are fantastic and hot pot options are great too. Service is prompt and friendly - they have a little robot that brings you food, but the servers help deliver it to the table as well.
google avatar

Tracey H.

Yelp
The most amazing place in town. i love this place. I been here several times and it never fails to
google avatar

Grace L.

Yelp
The meat (we got beef and lamb) was pretty tender and the broth was delicious. They also have a sauce bar so you can make your own dipping sauce. Interior is pretty modern and clean with Chinese decorations.
google avatar

Ryan C.

Yelp
Very good - reminded me of similar dishes during travels to China. One significant salute to the business is for their using of somewhat fresh huajiao - the Sichuan peppercorn - it was a very rare encounter to taste the numbness and hints of flavors, out of all the place, in Atlanta! The overall flavor of the mixed dry hotpot was somewhat sweet, but with that aforementioned ingredient was a surprise enough to shadow the complaint for that extra sweetness. Contrary to what the server suggested, we should've went with the spiciest level; a suckling baby would've easily conquer the regular level. The thin-ass scallion crepe was good as expected, but the cucumber could've used extra seasoning (thus we went to the hotpot sauce station to soup up the flavor). The rice coming with the dish - definitely can tell they use quality rice. Packed with actual Mandarin-speaking clientele, def can tell its a legit venue. Soju was lukewarm, so ask for some extra ice.

Shirley H.

Yelp
The first impression of the decoration is warm and cozy. While the snow covered peak is right there at the window. The crew is very friendly. Our waiter introduced us the ingredients of each dish he brought up. He also brought the bottle to show the ladies who sits right next table. The food is absolutely delicious. Every single cause! Big thumbs to the chief. Strongly recommend the fix menu. Worth every penny.

Yelp
Good, but pricey seems to be the general consensus when it comes to Good Harvest. I agree, but the portions you get are huge, so that makes up for some of it. Good Harvest differentiates itself from the hot pot competition by offering large, shareable "dry" pots and unique appetizers/sides in addition to the typical individual hot pots. While Good Harvest's boiling hot pots aren't significantly different or better than nearby hot pot places like China Hot Pot, Hot Melody, and J's Mini Hotpot Deluxe, their additional menu items plus good-to-great service are what bump this business up to four stars for me. I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to come here, but I do think this place is worth checking out. It's a spot I recommend if you're looking to try something different. The restaurant opened October 2018 in Asian Square next to BBQ Corner 2. There was a pho restaurant here, Pho Hoa, but it closed almost a decade ago: http://bit.ly/39YouCX. Good Harvest has other locations in New York and North Carolina. The space has been completely renovated and it looks great. It has a strong Chinese theme including ornate patterns on the storefront windows, a cool abacus wall, and circular openings, traditional in Chinese architecture. There are aquariums in the back. During our visit, they were filled with fish, lobster, and crab. This isn't a huge restaurant, but it's big enough. It's designed for and best experienced with a group. The business caters to Chinese people. I've called the restaurant twice to book large group reservations. Both calls, each answered by a different person, were answered in Mandarin. When we visited on Tuesday night, the clientele was mostly Chinese. Three of the uniformed staff initially spoke to me in Mandarin until I told them I didn't speak Chinese. Don't worry - their English is good enough so if you don't speak Chinese, you'll be fine. I worked with Cindy and she took good care of our group. Generally, Good Harvest sells two kinds of hot pot: (1) personal-sized hot pots where you pick and choose your ingredients and cook them yourself at the table and (2) large hot pots, intended for sharing, where the ingredients are preset and already cooked; most of these are typically dry pots (pots without soup/broth). The personal-sized hot pots are just like those you can find at other hot pot restaurants in metro Atlanta (such those mentioned in the first paragraph above). Good Harvest's personal-sized hot pots start at $3.95 for most broths and then you add anywhere from $4-8 each for most ingredients such as meat, seafood, rice, noodles, and vegetables. The ordering format (paper menu form) and ingredient selection (over 70 to choose from) are fairly standard for a restaurant of this type. Highly customizable. Some of the more interesting and unique ingredient choices include pig kidney, pig brain, Dungeness crab, and lobster. And, like other hot pot places, there's a self-serve sauce bar. This one has over 20 condiments. The real highlight and differentiating factor here are the big pots. There are about 20 different varieties featuring everything from frog (there are a half dozen varieties of frog alone) to king crab. The big pots run about $34.95 to $49.95 per pot and you can mix and match up to three kinds for extra. I estimate one pot can feed at least 3-4 people, especially if you order apps and sides. There were five of us and we ordered two pots and a bunch of apps and sides and we had a good amount of leftovers. Of the big pots, the fish pots are the only ones that are soupy, the rest are stir-fried. The pots are beautifully presented and have a bit of a wow factor to them. We ordered the Prime Rib Pot ($44.95) and the Chicken & Frog in Abalone Sauce Pot ($49.95). I also tried the Flounder Pot ($34.95). All three were good with the Prime Rib being my favorite and the Flounder being my second favorite. The prime rib was served bone-in and was very similar to Korean galbi (beef short ribs) though slightly not as tender nor savory. The chicken and frog were served bone-in too. The chicken and frog pot was exceptionally bony and, while the abalone sauce flavor was tasty, I'm not sure I'd order it again. The flounder was delicious. Overall, the portion sizes were generous and there were lots of vegetables and other ingredients like cooked daikon radish, kelp, and broccoflower, which I really appreciated. They didn't skimp. The ingredient quality was good too. I highly recommend ordering one or more of Good Harvest's "charpati" (chapati). We tried three - pork floss, pineapple, and durian - at $6.95 each. They were served piping hot and were scrumptious. I liked the pork floss the best. The pineapple charpati is one of their most popular items. Cold side dishes we had included black fungus ($7.95) and marinated pig's ear ($8.95). Both were yummy. The fungus (cloud ear) was par for the course. The pig's ear was shaved into very thin slices. It tasted delectable with the sauce.

Yelp
Great flavor, large portions, excellent experience. This was our first time but we will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
Authentic hot pot and dry pot cuisine. I think this is one of the only places in Atlanta that does fish balls made from their own paste. Definitely get the crab for hot pot, the quality is really fresh. As for the dry pot, dishes, the squid, the roasted fish, and the ribs are all really great. Don't forget to hit up the sauce bar to make your own. They have a really neat robot servers, which made it easy to get our food. They also served my birthday cake up nicely from sweethut!

Yelp
Either I just don't "get" this place, or I went on a bad day? I like hotpot, but honestly this place was kind of lacking for me. 1. There was nothing special about the hotpot. The broths were OK, and the individual condiments really add up quickly. 2. The sauce bar was cool and clean enough, but situated at the front of the restaurant. I guess that's kind of good, but it's also kind of just left there and if there are flies or anything, no one will know. I did NOT see any flies, but it's close to the door and exposed to the elements. 3. We got seated and then this loudmouthed crowd was seated so very near us. It was VERY uncomfortable. They could have seated them anywhere; it was pretty sparse around 4-5pm, and they sat them next to us. That woman's shrill voice and laugh is still in my head. My mom felt so ill at ease the whole time as that woman was being SO loud. 4. We went because we saw the cute robot server. They did use it, but it was just a cart. Nothing special. Don't get sucked in. 5. Cost. Yep--it added up and I found myself thinking I could've gone to China Hotpot, got the AYCE, and filled up WAY more. Instead, I feel like I didn't get to eat as much condiments. We only got 1 order of meat between 2 people and it was like $25 a person. I drank all the broth to fill up :( 6. Quality of broth: my mom noted that the pork broth was VERY white...not the usual kind of white but seemingly a little too white. 7. The music: it was more of a "trendy" atmosphere. Your parents may not like this place as the music was a bit loud and not that pleasant. I did pass someone eating the shared fatty beef and fish pot, and that looked good. But if you're not into eating whatever (including some weird stuff), you might not like this place. I need to know what's in my food. If I'm forced to go again because someone reaaaallllly needs to check it out, I might try the fatty beef and fish pot.

Yelp
Small portions of meat with limited types of veggies inside. Flavor was okay. It's somewhat authentic but not a great one. Service and ambiance are okay. Just kinda overpriced with what they provided.

Yelp
This place used to be good, but theses days the food quality has dropped dramatically. The pork was undercooked and 90% fat. Asked the waitress to change a batch but refused to change it and gave a generous 5% discount instead. Will not come again.

Yelp
Good Harvest is my family's FAVORITE hot pot places. As much as I love how chaotic hot pot can be, it was nice to try the individual hot pot experience! You can select your own broth and it's placed in your own stove top right in front of you. I chose the spicy Mala broth and it delievered everything I could ever want in terms of flavor. There's a sauce bar for you to customize your sauces and the selection of meats and vegetables can't be beat. Everything was fresh and came out quickly. Service here was top notch :) highly recommend everyone stop by to have a personalized but still social hot pot experience!

Yelp
Place is very overpriced but the ingredients do taste very fresh. For ga, this is decent for dry hot pot if that's something you like. You should expect the check to easily run in the $80 for one entree. They have robots that bring out the hot soups so if you like to see this fad that this is your place. One thing I threw me off is the hot pepper. I do not believe the red peppers they use are actually making the food spicy, as in it's not natural. Seems to incorporate artificial hot chili spray, maybe chemical, to make the food spicy.

Yelp
So good! What a great find! Located in the same shopping center as Sweet Hut, Good Harvest took over an old school Vietnamese restaurant my family use to frequent years ago. They have completely renovated the place and the decor is adorable. Service was surprisingly very good thanks to our (misnamed) server "Paige" (he accidentally had on the wrong name tag the whole time). Haha The four of us shared the 3-selections dry hot pot and picked: shrimp/calamari, fried flounder, and prime ribs. Let me tell you everything was DELICIOUS. My favorite was the seasoning on the shrimp/calamari. I was VERY glad we went for MILD spicy (per our server's recommendation) because it still had a good kick. The flounder was also seasoned very well. The weak point was the prime ribs which would have been better if we had picked the soy based seasoning instead of just the black pepper. Our dry pot came with unlimited rice so we ate up! My friend got a mushroom broth hot pot with just the veggie combo and it was a MASSIVE serving and she really enjoyed it. Between the 4 our us, we ended up spending about $20 per person which was very reasonable for the amount and quality of food. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
Good taste & acceptable spicy! The strange thing is that we have diarrhea every time after eating, I don't know why. But we will still eat it next time.
