"There are a ton of Brooklyn Pride events happening this week (including a 5K in Prospect Park, an outdoor screening of The Princess Bride, and tons of food vendors and activities on Fifth Avenue in Park Slope). Another to take note of: this newly-opened gay bar is hosting a Brooklyn Pride Party on Saturday, June 12th. Drag performers and DJs will be taking over the street in front of the bar, which is closed off to traffic thanks to the open streets program.
