Great vegetarian place. Nice friendly service, cute setting. Food is delicious.

Google
Wonderful place!!!! 🙏🏻 First time in and just thought everything was so good. The food is fresh, seasonal, and made with love. Everything was light and tasty and delicious! Such good value. The staff were so kind and polite. I’m a new vegetarian and local options are limited so I’m so glad I found this place. What a delightful experience. Thank you 🙌🏻🥰

Google
One of my favorite places. Consistently fresh and tasty lunch plates! We love Good Karma ♥️

Google
This place just made my day! Yes, the food is delicious, beautifully presented, flavorful, healthy and feels like a hug for your tummy. But also, the owner Maharani is super heartwarming, funny, and we had great conversation instead of me eating alone. She takes care of her guests, she genuinely wanted me to feel good and fed. Food with soul and good karma vibes for sure. Thank you so much for your fun and your true kindness!

Went here w my husband and a baby in my belly- let me just say this woman made us feel so loved and cared for like no other place we’ve been to! She fulfilled every ounce of craving i had and made sure i left with a full baby! In addition, everything is home grown and made from scratch with love. Truly love our new spot AND our new auntie.

Came here for the first time and immediately greeted with kindness and knowledge about the food. I had the lunch meal, cookies, lavender cake and loved every bit of it! Felt like I was eating at mom’s house. Can’t wait to come back for more💖

Google
Great food. Lunch, burger, or fried ramen were my favorites. I have tried almost every dish they offer, and all are great. The Dahl soup that comes with every meal is also a favorite. Staff are friendly and will accommodate requests. Don’t forget to get the cake and other things they might be selling like muffins or hot sauce.

Good Karma Cafe is like that cozy spot you love hanging out at because it just feels like home. The vibe is super welcoming, with cool, artsy touches that make it special. Plus, the folks working there are the kind of people you're instantly friends with – they make sure you're all set with amazing eats and a smile. It's basically your go-to place for feeling good and enjoying some tasty food.

Yelp
Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free friendly! Lunch was super flavorful and beautifully presented. Both dinner and lunch are great deals, providing a salad, main, and cookie. For dinner, I've had the curry which was hearty but needed some spiciness! Kind service. Hidden little gem with fresh, organic ingredients for a healthy meal. Family owned and operated. Favorite meal was lunch plate, fried ramen,or burger.

Yelp
I'm not vegan but my daughter is and I don't mind vegan or vegetarian food at all. I was really excited to eat but when I tell you the flies were bad....OMG!! I kept thinking if they are this bad out here what are they like in the kitchen?? The staff was nice enough but I couldn't get past the flies. Doubt will go back.

Yelp
Good Karma was recently recommended to my spouse by two people independently of one another, so we had to stop by to check it out. We were expecting it to be great, but somehow this place still managed to exceed our expectations! They specialize in vegetarian and vegan options, and oh my goodness, I would totally become a vegan if I could eat here every day. The food was reasonably priced, too, which is a huge bonus! Right when I walked in, I was struck by the vibrant decor and welcoming atmosphere. The host was incredibly hospitable and friendly, and she offered us their signature iced cinnamon tea on the house the moment we sat down. That tea was so refreshing and really hit the spot after a long day. Our meals came with a soup of the day (can't remember the name, but had a bunch of perfectly cooked and flavorful veggies in it) and salad with a tasty house-made, mustard-based dressing. I ordered the Malaysian Curry (sadly no picture, as I scarfed half of it down before it occurred to me to snap a shot of my food) and my spouse got the Lunch Special (pictured). The flavors had so many layers, and the host accommodated our request for "extra spicy" by bringing us a custom-made mix of ground chillies to mix into our food; it added the perfect kick to an already flawless meal. Just as we were finishing up, our host brought us a complimentary dessert (pictured). Everything was phenomenal and unique in the best of ways. You could definitely tell their food was made with tender love and care. I'm excited to move to Texas soon, but I wish I could take this place with me! :)

Yelp
Great spot nestled into the Gulfport area, that is Vegan/Vegetarian friendly! The plate lunch was such a great deal- soup, tea, then a plate with salad, rice, naan and a few different portions of delicious options, and finally a cookie! I added on a samosa which was so good! I was stuffed and so happy after my meal here, and enjoyed speaking to the staff as well! They were welcoming and passionate about their food, I will definitely be back and I highly recommend!

Yelp
Great service lovely lady. She's treated me with a warm welcome everyone I see her. She loves new customers and will always sit down and have a conversation with you

Yelp
I am not vegan but my friend is. We enjoyed our tacos, lentil soup and house salad - but believed all to be under spiced, and while good- quite underwhelming. Vegetables were fresh. The lavender cake that others raves about was very good but not excellent. Only a few bites of icing gave me the taste of lavender. My friend suggested I not visit the restroom after she did and reported it less than clean. The cinnamon tea was something I had never had with as strong of a cinnamon taste as it had-which was very much enjoyed. It's a don't-miss.

Yelp
The Gulf Coast is not exactly a vegetarian paradise, and frankly even in New Orleans good Indian food is hard to come by, but I found this one lonely outpost which offers all-vegan lunch and dinner. The owner is very hands-on, and I got an explanation of what was coming (and the next customer got some kind of dialogue on souls and karma). A lunch plate includes quite a lot of little components, with a salad and soup, tea, and a cookie all bookending the main plate. The bad news is that you're basically getting all of what's on their daily menu in one plate so there isn't really a ton of choice, and they like broccoli and cauliflower more than I do (which is to say, not at all). I found plenty worth eating, including nutrella chunks in curry and sauteed cabbage, and got a solid meal. It seems they sell out of food, so I would not count on showing up late even during posted hours. I would be curious to try a dinner as there seemed to be more options for that.

Yelp
Daily plates allow you to feel like you are in a moms kitchen being served dinner. Excellent selection and wonderful if you are new to Indian cuisine, lots of things to try on the plate.

Yelp
Such a unique place to eat. The woman who (i assume) owns the establishment was very friendly and explained how the lunch/dinner service works. You are seated and are given a beverage and they come out with the soup of the day and salad. From there you are served the entree. It is a set menu. They grow the vegetables at their farm so as she said, it's much easier to make the same thing in bulk, which is why it is a set menu. Everything tastes so fresh and the combination of spices smelt amazing. Everything was great. Again, this is a unique vegan/vegetarian restaurant, not an ordinary restaurant or a 5 star. I will definitely be going there again. And if available, because it sells fast, try on of the cakes. The lavender cake with lavender frosting is the perfect ending to a great meal.

Yelp
It was very nice to find a true vegetarian option in the Gulfport area. There are a lot of places in the area that believe that since they have seafood, they don't need to provide much in the way of pure vegetarian meals, which can make dining difficult for folks that don't eat meat. Good Karma had many vegetarian options with a laid back atmosphere. Perhaps too laid back. The Asian inspired eatery makes several dishes until they run out of options for the day, and some of the options change on a daily basis, so it can be a bit difficult knowing what you might want before you arrive. Employees are friendly and informal, but bordering on aloof. While we were there the counter clerk had to run to her car to get change for one of the customers. Apparently, not much cash is kept on hand. Atmosphere: It looks like it maybe used to be a Subway. They've adorned the place with Buddhist art and figures. On my visit, they were playing some music that was a bit strange for a restaurant. I believe it was the chanting of monks from a Buddhist temple. Though I'm not against this, it made for a bit of a bizarre dining experience. We got our food to go. Tried a few different items. I thought the Samosa was good, but I would characterize the remaining dishes as fairly nondescript. The teas were not very good. Bottom line, it seems like a mom-and-pop that is maybe just a little too casual about everything. I don't need to go back, but would happily find something if a friend wanted to go there.

Yelp
Cute little restaurant. This is my first time eating vegetarian food. The hot tea was amazing. I had a upset stomach and it settled it right up. I could smell ginger and cinnamon in the tea. She said it had turmeric in it as well. We got the lunch special for $12.99 . For lunch you do not have a choice. The meal is going to be what they cooked for the day After the tea she brought us a salad that had a mustardy tasting salad dressing. Me or my friend didn't care for it at all. It was during this time a small roach started running around are table as I tried to kill it it leaped into my friend's lap. I don't know why we were trying to be discreet during this roach killing but we were. Next we were served a very delicious soup followed by our entree. The entree was something that looked like sweet potatoes with a very strong curry taste with cabbage , the rice was flavorless and we were given and two types of breads. They gave us each a cookie as well. Everything was ok tasting . After the runaway roach I did lose my appetite. The experience of eating vegetarian was different. Nothing I care to do again.

Yelp
Good karma Café has a set menu for lunch they are open from 1130 to 3pm Tuesday through Saturday. And 5:30 to 8 PM for dinner. Really refreshing vegan/vegetarian Indian restaurant in the middle of Biloxi. The portions are generous. It comes with salad soup and the lunch plate. For three dollars extra you can get a Samosa. All of that left me full and with leftovers to go. I also had the lavender cake, which had just the right amount of lavender without being too overpowering and just a hint of sweetness. I would say my overall experience was excellent. I will definitely come again with family and friends. I highly recommend you try this restaurant out.

Yelp
I love love love this place! From the time you walk in the door to the time you walk out the door you feel awesome!!! Lots of Good Karma here indeed! I am here for the second time this week!

Yelp
One word - AMAZING! Stopped here after our warrior dash, best decision. Set food on the board - Indian flare with her own twist - was fantastic. We also had the vegan lavender cake mind blown - perfection. Salad with a great dressing Dal Cabbage fry Samosa Naan / pomp Rice Veggies I wish I could have eaten a second round, but no room. Oh why do we have to live so far away ...

Yelp
I started a Clean Eating nutrition program . I was apprehensive about trying it but was definitely surprised. The food was delicious...

Yelp
Our family tradition is to come here every New Years Day so that we can be blessed with good karma for the year to come. We rarely order anything but we like to walk inside and meditate for a few seconds about the year that has passed and what is to come. We are thankful. Happy New Year.

Yelp
A unique experience. It is a set lunch format. The menu is pre-decided. We got a choice of hot/cold tea (cinnamon or turmeric). We tried both; both were good. Next came soup (daal) and salad with an amazing mustard dressing. We asked for the recipe but it is a secret! Then there was a plate with sauteed cabbage, quinao with spices, rice, cabbage fritters, potato and beans and the most amazing blueberry coconut halwa. We also had samosas which were baked (not fried) which tasted great. We got russian cookies to end the meal. We also bought a slice of the lavender lemon cake which was really nice too. The owner was friendly and chatted with us and explained a lot of things about the food.
google avatar

Nancy M.

Yelp
The food is delicious, the folks are friendly. It's not a by-the-menu experience. You get seated and just wait for the magic. There are a few items available a la carte. Check the board behind the counter for what may be available. Treat yourself to the papusas and the lavender cake. Even non-vegans will love this place!

Yelp
Sadly, I do not think I will be returning to this restaurant. I always enjoyed it because they took my allergies and restrictions seriously but today, upon realizing they fed someone with Celiac a non-gluten free cookie, the owner argued with me that she had not given me any cookie and if she did it was my fault for not double checking with every item. She asked me what would happen to me and I tried to explain that the next 3-5 days will be full of digestive issues, debilitating pain, bloating, and more but she did not seem to understand nor care about the severity of the situation. Celiac is a lot more than just an intolerance, my body physically cannot digest gluten and contaminating my body with it causes severe intestinal damage and creates an unstable environment for digestion and nutrient absorbtion. It makes me very ill physically and mentally. I used to double check on every item but she would always reassure me that it was not necessary and that she had me covered. She was talking about making my gluten free meal as she was placing the cookie in the table so I assumed that meant it was gluten free as well. I understand that we are all humans and make mistakes. I have been in the restaurant industry for over a decade and I know that I have had my fair share of mistakes. I can look past making the mistake but it is a lot harder to look past how dismissive she was of the problem. It breaks my heart to have to say that I no longer find this restaurant to be safe for those with Celiac and I truly hope this was a one time mistake that will never happen again for everyone else out there with dietary concerns. The food is amazing, the owner is such a sweetheart, and it is truly a gem of the area. I just have to put my health first and when I know that eating somewhere is risky I can no longer in good conscience take that risk.

Yelp
Awesome!!! I'm not vegan at all but I came here with a friends who was. The staff is so friendly and open. They took time to explain the menu and what their dishes contain. I had the mie-goreng noodles with a samosa and vegan soup. It was all delicious. I highly reccomend checking them out if you're in the area

Kelsey W.

Yelp
This place has amazing vegetarian options and you get a lot of food for the price! I highly recommend!
google avatar

Lora C.

Yelp
The owner is super nice and friendly. We came and originally were thinking the dinner menu was available, but learned it was still lunch time, which was a set menu. A salad, soup, and then your plate. Everything was absolutely DELICIOUS!!!! I got a samosas as well, which was like a breaded pocket with potatoes and corn inside. My fiance got the triple chocolate cake. Everything was vegetarian or vegan and they had gluten free options. The flavors had so much depth. You could really taste the freshness and tell it was made with quality ingredients. Definitely glad we stopped by while here for vacation.
google avatar

George M.

Yelp
This is an incredible place. I seriously never thought of vegetarian was cuisine i would love. I love the food here. I could eat here every day. Taste, presentation, service and quality are all 5 stars.

L V.

Yelp
Don't bother with this place if you have any idea at all of what REAL Indian food is. Good karma turned into bad karma when we ordered the tasteless samosas served with some sort of ketchup concoction, burned supposed nain bread, dahl (soup! that had no dahl) and the lunch special. Won't be going back EVER.
google avatar

Mike Z.

Yelp
I went to this place one time years ago and took it for granted. A few years later I can say this is definitely the best vegan Indian food I've had and the amount you get for your money is great! I dont mean any shade to good karma in New Orleans but none of the curries and things like that have been good or had flavor like the food that I have had here. I hope to come back next time I am in the area. It was so good!
google avatar

Lyndsi L.

Yelp
Let me start by saying I have had countless veggie burgers all over the world, and I think the burger I just ate at Good Karma Cafe is quite possibly the best I've ever had. It had amazing flavor and this perfect crispiness to it. The Chipotle sauce was delicious, along with the mayo. I also had the lentil soup, which was quite tasty. The cinnamon tea was perfect. The staff were incredibly friendly. We got a slice of chocolate cake and mango cake and they were both moist and flavorful. I really can't say one bad thing about this place.
google avatar

Eric C.

Yelp
I think the food is actually good, but the restaurant itself needs a good cleaning, especially the bathrooms.
google avatar

Angela C.

Yelp
Great food at good prices! They even offered us some free desserts. It's been a while since we ate here, but we will return soon. The tea was especially delicious.
google avatar

Justin K.

Yelp
Fantastic. Lunch menu is very limited but do not let this dissuade you. The meal provided was amazing and included soup, a salad as well as a full plate of authentic indo-malayse food. Washed down with a cool cinnamon tea!
google avatar

Sandra J.

Yelp
Very simple menu. Lunch is the same thing every day but it is very good. The kale and sweet potato soup was fabulous! I also enjoyed the dressing on the salad. The owner/cook was very nice and explained everything. I would definitely come back again.
google avatar

Rene R.

Yelp
Positive energy abounds! Excellent service, great food, Good Karma! It was a wonderful experience and I will return again.
google avatar

Christophe H.

Yelp
Love this place. Great home grown food too. I'm from California, and I haven't been to too many healthy food places here in Mississippi. I love supporting business who make that extra effort to grow local foods and serve them locally especially in a prepared dish. Went there for lunch. You have two options. Vegetarian cuisine and Vegan cuisine. I'm not either but I loved the food and also bought some honey that she produced from local bees on her farm. This place is truly Good Karma!
google avatar

Ivylis R.

Yelp
MUST TRY. If you are tired of the typical food options in this area or if you just want delicious vegan/vegetarian/gluten free options this is the place! They nailed everything from hospitality to the food. Each day they have a different menu. They serve food until sold out which means to me that it is practically home cooked food. I will be coming back to this cafe more often i mean beyond impressed!
google avatar

Bruce S.

Yelp
We had been eager to try this restaurant as my wife is a vegetarian. I got the mixed lunch and my wife got a samosa. The papadum was soggy as it was served atop hot rice. Nothing was that tasty. My wife felt the samosa was too spicy though they claimed it was mild. We will never go back.

George M.

Yelp
I like their fixed menu for lunch. The samosas and the vegetarian cakes are terrific. If you're into vegetarian food, it's a nice variation.
google avatar

Sierra W.

Yelp
I loved everything on my plate! The food and service was a great experience. My favorite had to be the lavender cake. I will definitely be going back for more.
google avatar

Lisa S.

Yelp
My husband, our friend and I visited Good Karma for the first time today. To say it was amazingly wonderful is an understatement. As soon as we sat down, we were treated like family. The food is fabulous!!! We will be back - it's a shame (for us) they are closed Sunday and Monday Do yourself a favor and go!
google avatar

Kim P.

Yelp
This amazing little place has a variety of entrees which are all epic. The price is the same for every dinner on the menu ($12) and each entree comes with soup, salad, a cookie, and a beverage. I had the cold cinnamon tea and the hot turmeric tea. Both very good. The store also has a little clothing, Indian spiritual book, and incense shop inside it, which is a cool addition. Highly recommended for any vegetarian or vegan who happens to land in Mississippi. :)
google avatar

Denise H.

Yelp
I stopped in on a whim and was delighted to have the plate meal. It was a perfect blend of flavors with friendly genuine service. The cinnamon tea would have me coming back for it alone!
google avatar

Hyacinth B.

Yelp
Their single offering plate special for lunch is always good. The sautéed cabbage amazing, soup to be appreciated sip by sip, blueberry halava omg! I would also try her baked* samosas with chutney!
google avatar

Velon S.

Yelp
I absolutely love Good Karma Medley! The food is to die for and the service great, just the sweetest people you'll ever meet! The fact that everything is vegan is heaven!!!

Maggie L.

Yelp
If you like Indian food, you definitely want to go here! Good Karma is a hidden gem in Gulfport, and I'm glad my boyfriend and I found it! Lunch is a set menu for the day, with the option of adding on a samosa and/or a piece of cake for dessert. Do yourself and your tongue a favor and take both options, if you can. The samosas are delicious little mountains of flavor, and the cakes are mind-blowing. We even bought two slices to bring back home to share! The plate lunch is nothing to sneeze at, either. The dahl was the best I've ever had, and my boyfriend stated that he would happily eat an entire bag of the bean chips. Everything was amazing, from the tea (ask for the masala tea cold!), to the cake, to the conversation with the owner. Next time we go to Gulfport, we will be going back to Good Karma.
google avatar

Kathy R.

Yelp
Wonderful vegan/vegetarian food and friendly atmosphere. After a week of casino food this food was just what our bodies needed!

Zanzi M.

Yelp
Really good food. Quiet place. They also have good desserts. All vegan. You can eat outside if you wanted to.
google avatar

Suraj S.

Yelp
I was here back in 2017. It's not just me, who wants to try out food in different places. Like everyone else, I wanted to try something different. I am from South Asian culture and I wanted to see what South Asian food has to offer for me. I looked up online and found out about this place. I am not completely vegetarian but still, I thought it would be interesting to try out veg food. I went out with my friend Jasmine (she is a vegetarian). The owner lady of this place was very much friendly and treated me like a family member. I ordered rice, dal, pakoda, spinach and some garbanzo curries. The perspectives around here about Indian restaurant is that South Asian food are spicy especially Indian. But looks like this restaurant has managed to go with the flow of U.S. Food wasn't spicy. It was light and It was really good appetite for me and Jasmine. I recommend others to try out this place. It will be worth it.
google avatar

Morgan E.

Yelp
Loved this place. In town for work and was looking for a place where I could get some healthy food. The cinnamon tea is fabulous. Such a great idea and something I am gonna do myself when I get home. Loved the food and the people. So grateful for this restaurant.
google avatar

Bobby C.

Yelp
The lunch meal is a delicious variety that changes with the garden. Try the cold cinnamon tea.
google avatar

Jane T.

Yelp
I wish I could give this restaurant 6 stars. The food is delicious and the service is incredible. I really can't think of a single thing that could make it better. If you're looking for vegan or vegetarian food, go here. It's worth the detour from I-10 if you're on a road trip.
