Good Life Jerk Centre

When I was on break at work, I went here for lunch and I was raving to the owner about the mac &, cheese, it was so delicious😍 it's so cheesy, soft and creamy! The festival is lovely too, it's not too sweet, it's just right and has a great blend of nutmeg, cinnamon and brown sugar! Their jerk chicken and peppered steak are both full of flavour, it's well cooked and juicy, you can't go wrong!! My favourite is the jerk pork, it’s smokey, tender and well seasoned so I get it every time I come to Good Life Jerk Centre👏🏾 10/10 customer service and food, they make you feel right at home 🏡🇯🇲

The food here is great. I ordered a Curry Goat, Mac and Cheese and Festivals and they were all spot on. The Curry Goat was flavoursome and good the quality of meat. Their Mac and Cheese was tasty, hot and it was generous with the cheese. The Festival's arrived hot, smelled and tasted very good. All portion sizes are generous! The delivery time was super quick! It was no more than 30 minutes, maybe less.

I came here at lunchtime. I got jerk chicken with rice and peas. The chicken portion was massive and all of it was delicious. They did a lunchtime deal so you get your meal and drink for £7 which was very good value and friendly service.

I felt like someone played a joke on me. Such good reviews, I was expecting more. I was craving some good home cooked Jamaican soup so went to Good Life for the first time to order some chicken soup to take away. Always treated myself to a couple of festivals. The in-house experience was good. The guys behind the counter and in the kitchen were all good. They ended up giving me the soup someone else had ordered and not turned up for (I was skeptical as didn’t want any stale, gone cold, leftover soup) but the guy behind the counter reassured me it had only been there for a couple of minutes. Got home, really excited about my food but got festivals that were crazy oily and so rock hard I couldn’t even finish eating them and soup that had hardly any food in. Not one dumpling! Where were my potatoes? Yam? I was soooo disappointed but it was too late to do anything about it. I’m new to the area, and was hoping I’d found my new local Jamaican spot for some good home cooked food but unfortunately, this was such a disappointing experience that the search continues :(

You get a decent amount for the large portion. I ordered the stew chicken and there wasn’t much sauce or flavour to the chicken. The dumpling was so tasteless and the festival was so rock hard that hitting it on the table wasn’t even breaking it (almost felt like it was made of cement). I cannot believe a business would not check the quality of their food.

Absolutely fantastic place in Croydon! Honestly , the best around. Service is quick ,but the staff are very friendly,but most of all the food is exceptionally great! You will not be disappointed.

Had This restaurant cater for my son’s 16th birthday party and all I can say is 10/10! I’ve eaten there before so I knew the food was nice, BUT the catering was exceptional. Delivered early and the food was packaged well. I tasted a bit of the jerk and coleslaw before my guests arrived and nearly ate the whole tray. The food was a hit with the guests and a made his birthday a topic of discussion. Will definitely be using them again.
