Google
Yeah I didn’t even need to finish my chicken fried steak to give it five-star. The plate is big and steak is thick. I especially like the sauce on top with unique flavor from celery powder.

J. T.

Google
Nice place to eat in a charming neighborhood. The menu is relatively small, but it has lots of interesting items like this Churro French Toast. You order your food and drinks right at the entrance then seat yourself. The atmosphere is nice, but the parking is kind of tricky: It’s all off street. Overall, though it’s a cool place with unique twists on breakfast staples like eggs Benedict.

Ali D.

Google
What an amazing place with a great menu! We enjoyed the Gather Bowl (HIGHLY SUGGEST) and the Ricotta Cinnamon Pancakes (Also HIGHLY RECOMMEND). We did not realize we would need to order at a counter and then find a seat. However, we did not run into any issues finding an open table once one opened up! Would definitely come back next time we are in town!

Lorena R.

Google
We LOVE Good Lookin’! I get the French toast & it is delicious every time. They’ve honestly improved their dishes throughout the years. Service is good. One of my top choices for breakfast/brunch in Omaha

Jeremiah S.

Google
Heard about their breakfast burrito and had to have one. Delicious! The service was kind and the food came out fast, and the spot itself was clean and inviting.

Hardy T.

Google
visited Good Lookin on a Saturday morning and was impressed by the set up. You order your food and then find a seat, which is indicative of a place that gets a lot of traffic. They have water and coffee stations so you don't have to wait for a refill. The food was delicious! I ordered a breakfast sandwich with sausage and a side of crispy potatoes. I did not have to add any sauces, even to the potatoes. I would recommend this place and will be visiting again next time I am in town.

Google
Surprisingly upscale for the cafe-style "order, pay, then sit" entryway. Everything is good and very decadent. The French toast is basically funnel cake. I mistook the whipped topping as butter and almost ruined the dish by not using more on the bread. The chicken fried steak is gorgeous and complex. Very generous portion. The potatoes are the crispiest, greasiest, lightest all at once. The pancakes taste like cake. It's just amazing.

Maggie M

Google
I subbed a pancake instead of toast on my meal and that was an amazing decisions - the pancakes were so good. Fun spot and easy to eat at with kiddos!

Yelp
Great breakfast spot! The atmosphere is a cozy mix between a café and a casual sit-down restaurant. When you walk in, you order and pay at the counter first, then grab a seat anywhere you'd like. Your food is brought right to you, which makes the experience feel super easy and relaxed. The breakfast burrito is absolutely incredible. So flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and generously filled. Honestly, I could eat one of these every single morning and never get tired of it. Can't wait to come back and try more from the menu!

Yelp
We've been a fan of their breakfast burritos since we first tried them! They're huge and can definitely be big enough to share.....or have a second breakfast later. We enjoy coming during the colder seasons to sit by the big windows with a hot drink and watch the people outside and relax. The ordering at the front is a little awkward. If there's no one in line it's nice when just walking in. When it's busy however, you have to walk into the seating area and then turn back around. This was the first time getting food to go and was a little annoyed about the extra charges because of that.

Yelp
Came here to grab some breakfast considering the great ratings but I had to take a few stars down for one of the dishes that I'm usually excited for when in Nebraska Breakfast Burrito - 5/5 great portions with chorizo, cheese, eggs, and house aoili. Solid choice and would recommend Chicken Fried Steak - 2.5/5. Definitely not made to order and/or pre-made and deep fried to heat it up. Breading on it was burnt in a few areas and steak was overly fried giving it a bitter taste. Luckily the gravy overpowers it somewhat. All edible, but would hope that wasn't their best. Would not recommend this to anyone Overall, good place for some breakfast and would come back again and get something else instead of the chicken fried steak

Yelp
A little confusing at first, you order at the bar, get a number and then sit down, but don't forget to grab silverware, napkins and water- it's all self serve. Super cute inside, but the music was so loud it was hard to have a conversation. I had the biscuits and gravy and it was overall a pretty good meal, not really your usual gravy, it was thinner and had a different flavor, but I liked it for the most part. I did find some of their menu items to be pretty expensive, which really influenced my order decision, which I was a bit bummed about. Overall, pretty good, but be sure to check the prices before ordering if you're watching your spending!

Yelp
I will always give this place a 10/10!!! I recommend this place to anyone that is visiting or needing a new place for breakfast. Such filling plates and super flavorful dishes. Love the homey atmosphere and super friendly staff.
google avatar

Yelp
Lunch with my former boss was fantastic! The restaurant was busy, but we ordered and were able to find a table very quickly. Our food was delicious! The Double Standard is a lot of food and the sandwich wrap is stuffed full and very big. They charge for avocado even when I don't get the meat. This doesn't make sense to me so they lost a star.
google avatar

Linda O.

Yelp
A quaint neighborhood eatery with a real community vibe. The menu items are creative and the servings very generous. The set up is a bit different. You order and pay first then "hope" to find a seat. This is why I didn't give it a full 5 star rating. We were lucky enough to beat the crowd and get the last open table. I'm not sure what they do if your food is ready but there is not a table available. By the crowd you can tell its a popular spot.

Yelp
Fabulous coffee and food here! I've so far had the biscuits and gravy, scones, cinnamon rolls, and burritos (both bacon and chorizo). The only thing I didn't care for was the gravy on the biscuits, but everything else has been seriously delish. This also is a weird aside, but I wish the cinnamon rolls were a little smaller, ha. Onto the real star of this show...the breakfast burritos. I don't know how they do it, but every bite is the best one. I've had them fresh and to go eaten the next day, and they're just as good. The cappuccinos are fabulous with any of the food, a perfect morning meal! I haven't yet been for a meal besides breakfast, so I have yet to have the lunch menu. Another time! You order at the window in the front then find your seat. They have a large bar that's nice to sit at either for 1 or 2, and they can accommodate large parties.

Yelp
This place has a lot of really great brunch options. I didn't feel super strongly about the chicken fried steak. The sauce was really really good and everything else about it was fine but not amazing. I would maybe order it again. I really love the location of this place. It's cute inside but it's not as cute as some other brunch spots in Omaha. Service was fine nothing bad or good to say.
google avatar

Maddie E.

Yelp
I had a to go breakfast burrito from Good Lookin and clearly it was good because I could not get a photo before I was half finished! I ordered the egg and chorizo. The chorizo was delicious (but a little messy) and spicy. For sure need napkins and a fork to eat this! All the right textures you want with crispy chorizo and soft tortilla and egg. Would definitely come again but, might eat in if I had the time.

Yelp
This is another Omaha - Dundee hidden gem! This breakfast + brunch spot goes perfectly with the Dundee aesthetic. I went to meet a couple of coworkers and it was a great spot for a Thursday brunch. I got the burrito with no tortilla, turning into a burrito bowl, and it was delicious! Their tater tots are big and crispy. You order at the counter and the worker was very friendly. They also had great staff @ the bar and to clean up food plates. I need to go back and try their lunch and bar items!

Jim H.

Yelp
I got the basic eggs, toast, and sausage. The sausage appears to be made in house. It was very dry and the spice mixture was too heavy. Scrambled eggs were dry as a bone. I was not impressed. Others dining with me seemed to enjoy their food.
google avatar

Rick V.

Yelp
Great biscuits and gravy. More than I could eat . Order at the counter they got it out to me timely.
google avatar

Charley B.

Yelp
What a fantastic neighborhood breakfast restaurant. My friend dines in once or twice a month, so one day I wrote and asked him what I was missing. He responded - "Everything." He was right. My Eggs Benedict - I subbed bacon for salmon - was served nice and hot. The poached eggs were perfect - well shaped with a runny yolk. The bacon was nice and crisp. The potatoes were a-ok, but I should have asked if I could have subbed them. Service was solid. I'm not sure how they're so calm during the chaos, but they are, and they're happy to help. The restaurant is really really busy during peak times, however please don't let that alarm you. Even with the wait to place your order, the room turns over well.
google avatar

Nicole E.

Yelp
Order at the counter and then seat yourself. Ordered an oat milk latte, morning wrap, yogurt bowl and a vegan hash with a side of chicken sausage. $49.15 Hoping it won't take long to get our food, since we don't have a lot of time to eat this morning. The vegan hash is slightly sweet and savory, it's good with the avocado, jalapeño and pickled onions. The chicken sausage is nicely cooked and decently flavored. The morning wrap, it was tasty.
google avatar

Yelp
Such a cute brunch spot! Their menu has lots of options from biscuits and gravy and burritos to pancakes or traditional eggs and toast. Lots of drink options and delicious coffee! I got their brown sugar cold brew and it was phenomenal. The service is wonderful and I love that you order right when you walk in. It's a cute cozy place with lots of art and natural light. Perfect brunch place in the heart of Dundee. We will be back again soon!
google avatar

Yelp
7 stars for everyone!! I visit Omaha often and this will 100% be a staple place. The food came out fast, it was a little bit different than your tropical dishes (ex: the gravy for chicken fried steak) and in the best way! Eeek I'm so excited about this spot.
google avatar

Chad C.

Yelp
Love this place, can't believe I haven't reviewed earlier! The inside is order at the counter, and sit down after. This works well to move people through quicker, especially on busy mornings. Inside is open seating, all chairs/tables, no booths. A separate coffee bar is available to order specialty coffees. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was the best I've had in Omaha...perfectly crispy, tangy sauce and crisp brioche bun. Just perfection. The churro french toast is so good that you'll end up finishing it when you swore you were only going to eat half. Also delicious...the chicken fried steak and the biscuits/gravy. Great local spot, kind employees and quick service!

Yelp
This was our first time at Good Lookin' and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. You order at the counter so there isn't a whole lot to be happy or dissapointed with in regard to service, everyone was friendly! Very cute, clean spot with lots of seating which was nice because it was pretty busy in there- expected for a Sunday morning. The menue is small but with plenty of variety. A dozen or so options that all looked delicious. We settlers on the chicken fried steak, and egg, bacons and goat cheese breakfast sandwich and we couldn't pass up a cinnamon roll- they were huge and looked delicious (we ate the cinnamon roll before I could take a picture). All fresh and delicious. The chicken fried steak was a nice thick cut of steak and the breakfast sandwich came on a fresh made English muffin. The cinnamon roll was delicious- probably one of the best I've ever paid for. A real from scratch roll with from scratch icing. Pricing was average. For the 3 dishes we ordered it was $40. You can definitely find cheaper breakfast but we thought the quality was worth it. We look forward to our next visit.
google avatar

Rose P.

Yelp
This place is different in the best of ways! You walk in, then order at the window. There's several menus on the wall to look at. The person at the register is very nice, and they give you recommendations on what's popular. It was very reasonably priced. We were given a table number and the staff delivered our drinks and food to the table. The burrito is HUGE. The Good Lookin Bowl was top notch. Every flavor fits so well. It was the perfect serving size. I can't wait to come back! This would be a great place for casual drinks or coffee, as well as brunch.
google avatar

Amanda R.

Yelp
This is definitely one of my favorite brunch/breakfast places in town! I feel like there is something for everyone and for whatever you are craving. Also the food quality here is amazing, you feel like you are eating fresh food. I like the concept of you going in and ordering first is great since it makes the service faster. They have plenty of room and the flow is good, so you are never waiting for too long if you don't have a table.
google avatar

Michael N.

Yelp
This is a "must visit" spot!! I'm an eggs Bennie aficionado and Good Lookin crushes it!! The sausage is super flavorful, the hollandaise is decadent and the bacon jam is off the charts!! Add to that their crispy potatoes and your belly will be smoking for hours!! Eat slowly! Also tried the Peanut Butter, Banana, Chocolate etc Smoothie, which was off the charts and the Iced Morning Buzz that lives up to its name!! Such a great vibe, Well Done!! And thanks to Andy, she's super personable :-)

Natalie H.

Yelp
The food was very tasty here! I liked how you ordered first and then sat down. The atmosphere was amazing! This is definitely a must try in Omaha!

Evelyn G.

Yelp
Had a great brunch experience at Good Lookin'. I especially loved the warm chai latte and the breakfast sandwich. The sandwich has a delicious sauce that elevates the overall taste. We got a vodka mixer with orange juice, personally not my favorite, but if you like strong drinks you may like it. The fried chicken sandwich came with a side of fried that were absolutely delicious. The sandwich itself was good, chicken was tender, with a fantastic sauce. The service was decent, not much I can say because your order your food at the register and then it's brought out to your table. The environment was well lit and I love the look of exposed brick. Overall great breakfast, brunch, and lunch spot!
google avatar

Rebecca D.

Yelp
Coffee - amazing, smooth, perfect flavor. Portions - HUGE, good but huge. You can 100 share with another person.
google avatar

William Y.

Yelp
Breakfast Burrito was delicious. I was a little surprised that the avocado toast had cheese on top. I would only get it if you like cheese on your avocado toast but it was a first and probably last for me. The orange juice tasted good. It's not on the same level as your cold press from home but it hits the spot. Service was quick and nice. The line does come in waves and I was able to just beat the rush around 9am. There was a convenient parking lot out back.
google avatar

Katelyn W.

Yelp
OMG. This place. We finally decided to try it and I'm so glad we did. We were initially thrown off by the line, but I'm here to say, don't let it deter you! You order at the front counter and it's against the rules to save spots before ordering, which I really appreciate because if everyone just follows the same flow, there *will* be a spot for you to sit by the time your food is ready. The seating area itself is fairly large and has a cute Dundee charm that fits perfectly in the neighborhood. I can never decide what to eat so I got the burrito sub bacon and some riccota pancakes for the table. This burrito. I dream about it. The eggs are fluffy, the hashbrowns inside are salty perfection, the tortilla is nice is chewy yet crispy at the same time, and whatever is in that aioli is magical. It even reheated nicely in the air fryer. The reason I took half home in the first place was because of the pancakes. They were soooo fluffy and buttery and the toppings including the cinnamon butter took them over the top. Don't be scared by the line! It's worth it.
google avatar

Ashley M.

Yelp
great people, great food! loved being able to make the breakfast burrito gluten free & amazing pistachio latte!
google avatar

Patrick N.

Yelp
The food was really good, but just BE AWARE: you get your own silverware, napkins, and water. They do bring your food to the table, but no one checked in to see how it was. Luckily, everything was delicious - but THE TIP prompt at the counter felt a bit much given there's basically no service beyond cooking and dropping off your meal. Kind of a turn off, frankly.
google avatar

Jayci G.

Yelp
Holy hugeplates, this spot is great! Chicken fried steak is huge and shareable, the breakfast sandwich is twice the size you think it's going to be. I'd skip the London Fog drink and go with something iced instead - looked better, anyway. Go early; it gets busy around 10.
google avatar

Leah B.

Yelp
Hands down the best breakfast place I have been to in a LONG time. Everything was delectable. We ordered the ricotta pancakes(drool!), the chicken fried steak and eggs (DOUBLE DROOL!), two kids breakfasts, their fresh squeezed orange juice (the flavor, OMG!), and two lavender lattes (seasonal and SO good!). The portions were ginormous. We had so much food that we ate our fill and had breakfast enough for the next day! The children's sausage patties were as big as my hand!! A picturesque little restaurant located in quaint Dundee. The service was decent. You order at the front and sit down with a number and everything is brought to you.
google avatar

Aaron S.

Yelp
Best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. Visiting from out of town and this was a perfect way to start the day. Nice casual and friendly atmosphere and each person we encountered was very helpful. In addition to great brunch food options, I love that they have multiple smoothie, coffee, and tea options. The breakfast sandwich was perfect to me. The English muffin was fantastic and I especially enjoyed the aioli and bacon flavors inside (you can get it with bacon or sausage in addition to the egg). Furthermore, the side of potatoes I had was perfect as well! Great balance of crisp and potato. Nice view of the neighborhood as well. If I lived here I believe I would be a regular here.

Linda L.

Yelp
Service was slow, the food was bland and forgettable, and the menu offered nothing unique. Nothing about this place stood out, and I left wishing I had gone somewhere else. Definitely not worth the time or money.
google avatar

Whitney G.

Yelp
Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Atmosphere: 5/5 Value: 3/5 First things first, get the breakfast burrito. Delicious, and I'm not even a big burrito person. Delicious eggs, crispy potatoes, yummy aioli. I got the good lookin' bowl which was also fresh and a delicious healthy alternative. Good portions. We also tried the French toast but it wasn't my favorite- too sweet and too fried, but tasty. Mimosas just okay, and pretty small carafe for the price. Coffee was delicious, they over oat milk as a milk alternative. The ordering layout was a bit confusing when you walk in, but you order first before sitting. Parking seems to basically be street parking only, so depending on the time, may be difficult to get a spot. Prices are definitely on the higher side, so I would not say this is a bargain breakfast, but pretty generous portions. Also, very cute interior, and overall great vibes.
google avatar

James M.

Yelp
Now that was a Good Lookin' breakfast! The service is a little different. Not table side. You order at the counter at entry and find a seat. They bring your breakfast to you. I had the eggs Benedict and a cappuccino. The cappuccino came out fast... faster than the food, which would be ok if the food came out shortly after. I tried to save my coffee for the food but by the time the food came out my cappuccino was cold. the ambiance is very cool. The building is a reclaimed building and nicely restored. The Benedict was very flavorful. I enjoyed the balance between the salmon and bacon jam. The bottom of the muffin was slightly over cooked so it made it hard to cut through. The potato's were delicious and the pouched egg was perfectly cooked. This was a nice treat of a local spot.
google avatar

Sarah P.

Yelp
As always, Good Lookin' doesn't disappoint. Although it was a bit on the busy side when we got there Saturday morning, we did not have an issue finding a table and our food came out promptly. The breakfast sandwich was delicious and I can't wait for my next brunch opportunity at Good Lookin'

Aaron M.

Yelp
Ordered the biscuits and gravy, with a side of the roasted potatoes. The food was good and the potatoes were fresh, but the biscuits and gravy came out ice cold. Service is just them delivering your food so I didn't get an opportunity to ask if I could get it reheated. Though I would think with a 40 minute wait for my food that I would all come out hot and fresh, sadly my expectations weren't met. Otherwise not too bad of a brunch spot, fun atmosphere and I like the cafeteria style ordering.
google avatar

Jana J.

Yelp
This place has some of the best brunch foods I've tried! The eggs Benedict is my favorite with an amazingly flavored hollandaise sauce along with the perfectly balancing bacon jam (I always ask for extra!) I subbed out the crispy potatoes, eggs seemed to be the only option. Great brunch--always busy so plan to wait for a table!
google avatar

Tope B.

Yelp
we enjoyed this place on a hot saturday afternoon. We order different coffee drinks which were delicious. My hot toddy was probably the best i've ever had! their service was quick and the servers was kind and helpful. We throughly enjoyed our food. Our food felt like it was made with fresh ingredients. Each dish was unique and bursting with flavor. A very enjoyable meal in an nice atmosphere! High recommend!
google avatar

Sabrina D.

Yelp
Good lookin' has been on our list since opening day, but until this visit last month, we had only tasted their goods via takeout from a blessed friend (thanks, friend!) I didn't realize it was a more casual approach in terms of counter orders vs wait staff at the tables, but I'm a fan of efficiency, so I liked that! I browsed the menu ahead of time and knew I had to try that breakfast bowl after fellow Yelpers gave it high praise... You guys. It's all true. I was skeptical about the bowl from the menu alone, but the flavors are SO complex and it was a really fun experience. I did opt to add an extra egg or two (I can't remember what it usually comes with, 1 or 2?) In any case, the service was just right. The food was amazing! Definitely try the potatoes if you've got room for them - they're a fan favorite!
google avatar

Lee Ling C.

Yelp
We've finally tried this place and it exceeds our expectations! I love the chill ambience, the great taste of good and their coffee is good as well. But bear in mind that it'll have a queue during the weekends, hence you may need to come earlier for dine ins. It's usually quite packed during the weekends and it's understandable as their food is really good, fresh and delicious. The waitresses are good and food service is quite fast for a packed restaurant. Will definitely visit again.

Yelp
What a neat find!! I went to Good Lookin' for breakfast before my work event and decided it's another Omaha go-to. Order at the counter when you walk in, then pick a place to sit. Whew, glad I arrived right before the main Saturday brunch rush. It got crowded, even for a relatively huge restaurant. Got lucky with 2-hour street parking right in front, too!! Breakfast Burrito and Pistachio Latte were just what I needed to start my day. That and the vibe of the place. Customer service is quick and friendly as well, grabbing to-go boxes and clearing tables so more people could be seated. The burrito itself was filling and dangerously delicious. Totally coming back for this quality meal (or to try other things) again.

Ashley R.

Yelp
Food was great, the order window wasn't my favorite. I want a waiter. Overall good experience.
google avatar

Jessica C.

Yelp
Went here last week for brunch to celebrate my sister's birthday. The food was excellent. The coffee was also really robust. I was surprised that it was an order at the front type of place, but it made it cozy and had more of a "seat yourself" coffee vibe than a cafe. Either way we loved it.
google avatar

Briana E.

Yelp
If the place has a bomb ass iced Carmel macchiato then everything else will make you wannna slap yo mama!!! But seriously, I was taken away by how good every thing was. Even the kids pancakes were delicious! Big fan of the sausage patty that came with it, that alone was very well seasoned! I kinda wanna say they make those from scratch if I'm judging correctly! Big fan of this place, please come and support local
google avatar

Lora L.

Yelp
Great brunch spot.... Plenty of seating The coffee was good, the chicken fried steak was delish.... I don't love ordering at a counter but it wouldn't stop me from coming back.

Yelp
We decided to take some friends and make the trek from West Omaha down to Dundee today for brunch. First of all, as per anything in Dundee, the parking is terrible. When we walked in I was a little nervous about the whole waiting in line to get your food and not being able to get a table until you ordered food, but I was pleasantly surprised about how nicely it worked out. I was bummed that every beer our friend ordered was out, it was Sunday at 11am. We ordered a carafe of mimosas and it was overpriced and very small. Wouldn't do that again. I ordered the Salmon Sandwich.... I was so excited because I love salmon stuff... it was okay. Not great, not terrible. I wouldn't get it again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Very blah and really skimpy on the salmon. My husband ordered the burrito and loaded potatoes and they were both really good. Our friends ordered Eggs Benedict, Chicken Fried Steak and a traditional breakfast. They all really enjoyed those. The Chicken Fried Steak was really good. We also got a cinnamon roll for the table and I thought it was mediocre. Overall it was okay. Pretty good. I'll give it another chance but know what to avoid.
google avatar

Valerie G.

Yelp
I can't even describe how amazing this place is. I have been to almost every brunch place in Omaha and this is by far the best food. You get the perfect amount of food, and you do not overpay. The flavors are truly out of this world. PLUS they will freshly make any drink, and the coffee is for anyone who needs a cup of joy in their life. The one downside of Good Lookin is that you order in a line, then need to find a table to sit at. It is not good if you are in a hurry, or if you have a group larger than four. If you are willing to wait for a table, or go earlier in the day, when it is not as busy, that is the way to do it. It is relaxed and casual on the inside, and you buss your own tables. To me, finding a table and bussing my dishes is 1000% worth the atmosphere, and the food.

Yelp
Food was so good we didn't get a picture! This may be my new favorite Nashville hot chicken sandwich, so I'm sad it's a special. :( We went the eve of thanksgiving for the Nashville hot & smash burger special and we were not disappointed. It's safe to say I have now never had a bad meal here, breakfast, lunch, or dinner!
