Good Measure

One of the best café service experiences I had during my whole Melbourne trip. Good Measure is popular everywhere for their signature Mont Blanc. I went around 4 PM on a weekday — the place was packed inside and outside, but after waiting 5–10 mins, I luckily got a window seat. I came for Mont Blanc, Vanilla Latte, and Babka, but Babka was sold out… so I got the lemon cheesecake instead. - Mont Blanc: Pretty sure the base is cold brew mixed with orange juice — super refreshing. The milk cream on top and the orange zest really make the drink. Not too strong, well-balanced, very easy to drink. - Vanilla Latte (hot): I asked for half sugar but it was still way too sweet :(. I had to add ice to dilute it before I could drink it. The coffee base itself was nice and not burnt. - Lemon cheesecake: Has tiny salt bits inside that help balance the flavor. Overall decent. Really enjoyed my afternoon coffee at Good Measure: good vibes, good service, good coffee. Hope I can try the Babka next time, and hopefully find a coffee that fits my taste better.

Very popular cafe with a lineup, however we didn’t have to wait very long before being seated. It’s a lovely place that isn’t very big, but there are plenty of seating options with a cute little outdoor area at the back of the cafe. Efficient and friendly service. The Mont Blanc was yummy and one of the most unique coffees I’ve ever had, and the matcha drink was also quite nice. Sandwich and breakfast muffin was good but nothing too special. Would definitely recommend this place for the drinks though.

I know I’m late to the party, but I’ve been hearing about a coffee drink called the Mont Blanc. A google search led me here, to where it was created in 2022. I arrived shortly after they opened and luckily there was no wait. Other reviews criticize this place for the way they manage the queue - if you go to a hyped, viral place, you should expect some sort of wait system! If it wasn’t worth it, there wouldn’t still be a queue after 3 years. I found the staff to be incredibly friendly, answering my questions without a hint of attitude. I ordered a hot Mont Blanc and, aside from being beautiful, it was one of the most delicious coffee drinks I have had in my life. I drank half “through the cream” and the other half stirred together. Both ways were great. I ordered an iced one when I left and it was just as good. Yes, it costs a bit more than a typical coffee, but it is 100% worth it!

Let say this is one of the places that does live up to the hype. The Mont Blanc is easily the best I’ve tried. It was that good we came the next day. The service was great considering the que of people that were waiting. Late afternoon the place turns into a bar where they have craft beer and bar nibbles. Would highly recommend making stopping by here if in Carlton.

Heard of this place for so long and finally got the chance to try it out! I love it! Mont Blanc just amazing! Everyone just came here for this famous drink! And the gemaicha cheese cake also amazing!! I definitely will go back again and recommend to friends!

Visited Good Measure in Carlton and tried the Ice Montblanc Coffee, Vanilla Latte, Matcha Cheesecake, and Orange Almond Cake. The Montblanc Coffee was smooth and layered, with a light touch of cream and spice. The Vanilla Latte had a nice balance of sweetness and espresso. Matcha Cheesecake was creamy with a distinct green tea flavor, while the Orange Almond Cake was moist and lightly citrusy. The space has a cozy, timber-lined interior with a calm atmosphere. Some patrons noted the café plays vinyl records, adding to its charm. It runs as a café by day and transitions into a bar in the evening.

This was my first time trying orange cold brew (or mont blank?), and it was the most amazing one. The price is a bit higher than other places, but it's worth it. There's often a line at this place, but it's worth it as well.

When I arrived in Melbourne a lot people told me I had to go good measure and try the mont blanc. I’ve been there now and I recommend it to everyone who hadn’t tried it yet. They always have a line but it’s totally worth waiting for☕️💖
