Good Move Review - Greenpoint - New York - The Infatuation

"Good Move is a little spot in Greenpoint that’s basically just a small bar and a few tables, Weezer playing on the stereo, and some very solid tacos. There isn’t much atmosphere, but there is a full list of cocktails, so we’d recommend it if you’re in the neighborhood and dining solo. I've been going to Good Move for a while now, and it is one of the most wholesome, joyful and community-oriented studios I've been to ever ever. I've probably had a class with 5 or 6 different dance teachers there now, and I don't want to pick favourites (they're all so lovely) but I feel I have to say that if you're reading this and feeling short on confidence, Julius' classes are genuineeellyyyy going to change your whole opinion on how comfortable you can feel dancing in front of strangers (new dance friends). I can't say anything other than COME ALONG, give it a go! Dance, play! I can't wait to meet you! Thank you everyone at Good Move, angelic folks.

I had a class pass here and didn’t realize it had an expiration date. I was away for a while and couldn’t use it, so I reached out to ask if they could extend it, but unfortunately, they didn’t allow it. The classes seem nice, but it would be great if the studio could show a bit more flexibility and understanding for returning students

Took my first Pilates class here today and it was absolutely amazing. Honestly it was one of the first classes I’ve experienced where I genuinely feel relaxed and de-stressed afterwards. Most classes I go to are very high intensity which can be great but I really needed this nervous system regulation. I still felt the burn without feeling as if I’m using all of my energy and the teacher was very welcoming and accepting of everyone’s abilities. I felt so good afterwards and the next time I’m in NY I will definitely be back!

I have literally never smiled so much during a workout class. The good move signature class is so fun and delightful. Great cardio, good for muscle toning, and an overall really fun experience. I will definitely be back.
